Chapter 1 WEDDING CRASH

The weather was dim, and it was as if it would rain anytime soon. The cloud roared and rustled about, prompting people to walk faster. It was the weekend, but that did not mean anyone wanted to get soaked.

In a beautiful hotel, hotel de Free, known as the country's first seven-star hotel, flurries of footsteps could be heard even from miles away. The most talked about wedding was finally happening, the wedding of the multi-billionaire self-made queen Eira Croft and her childhood crush Paul stoneheart.

"Miss, you are looking so beautiful. The young master is going to be so shocked; he would not believe his eyes when he sees you." a beautiful maid said gingerly as she dressed the lady seated in her white gown.

The lady on the chair had a peerlessly beautiful face, blonde hair that was as golden as the sun, big green eyes and cute dimples. She had a perfectly symmetrical face, and her teeth were pearl white. Sitting there, without making any movement, she still managed to outclass the beautiful maid by a wide margin.

"It's enough if he comes on time for the wedding. I don't dare ask for an exaggerated reaction from him." the beautiful lady said. Her voice is as delicate as the voice of a nightingale.

A spark of envy ran across the maid's face as she heard the sweet voice, but very soon, her lips curled up with happiness as she thought of something. Too bad, the lady was typing away on her phone and couldn't see the maid.

The lady, without a doubt, is the self-made billionaire queen Eira Croft, a 25-year-old billionaire queen.

After some time, Eira began to get a bit nervous and suspicious. She had already done her makeup and everything but hadn't been called to the altar yet, and the time set for the wedding had passed by two hours, making Eira, a lady sensitive about her time, a bit angry.

"Grace, what is happening? Where is my father?" Eira asked her maid and her best friend, Grace.

"Don't know, don't even care to know," the maid answered half-heartedly, looking not even at Eira but at her long, manicured nails.

"Pardon!" Eira's face turned dark as she stood up from her chair slowly, her height of 175cm instantly towering over the petite Grace. "What are you doing?" Grace asked, her face terrified. She was just a tiny maid; how could she handle the full aura of Eira, who had been baptised in the high society for half her life?

"What do you know?" Eira asked coldly; her previous smile was nowhere to be found. "Did someone bribe you to sabotage my wedding?" Eira continued to ask. She was no stranger to all this type of lowball conspiracy.

Grace kept mute and instead looked at Eira with disdain and smugness. She was still scared of Eira, but when she thought of Eira's fate in a couple of minutes, the smile resting on her lips got broader.

"Get out" Eira pushed Grace out of her way and went to get the door, only to find out the door was locked from outside. What nonsense! She was the bride, and her room was especially well known; who would dare lock the door to her room?

"WHAT IS THIS?" The unease in Eira's heart got more prominent as she dialled her father's number, and it went into voicemail thrice.

With a frown, Eira stepped some meters back; under the shocked eyes of Grace, she ran with full speed and rammed herself into the door, breaking the door in two.

Not even pausing to check the injury she sustained, she sprinted straight to the altar in her heels; her white dress had some sawdust from the broken door, her dress was also torn at different places, her hair was tousled about, and her makeup was a bit disarranged, but none of that mattered to her. The only thing gracing her thoughts was the ever-bubbling desire to reach the altar quickly.

As she approached, a few security stopped her. "Jake, bright, what are the two of you doing? Don't you all recognise me?" Eira frowned and angrily berated the two guards. They were guards from her company who she specifically asked to guard her room door. She had not even settled the score with them for not being in their place of duty, and they dared stop her from entering her wedding.

The two guards were shocked at how Eira stood before them. "Wasn't she supposed to be locked in the room?" The two guards exchanged glances at each other, confusion evident in their faces.

"It doesn't matter how she got out, we cannot let her come inside the hall", the one called Jake says as he steps forward, his height of 187 cm towering over Eira.

Eira's face got more grim as she thought, who is behind all this? Why would her guards turn on her? Who did she offend?

Thoughts like that filled her mind. "Whoever it is, I can only know once I get into that reception room." solemnity filled Eira's heart as she readied herself to fight her guards.

"Miss Eira, I will give you one last chance because of our years of working side by side, lea...ahhh!" a shrill scream like a pig being slaughtered escaped from Jake's mouth as he bent down clutching onto his family jewel that got kicked.

Eira was wearing 10-inch heels, and she didn't hold back on that kick at all, giving Jake an almost crippled balls.

Seeing Jake's miserable state, Bright shivered as he held his lower body, he was not risking his future happiness for anything. The coast was clear, and Eira pushed the door open and ran in.

As she ran in, she could see the guests waiting, but her focus was on the well-dressed woman in blue. Her feet ran happily towards the woman. "Mother!" she called out before even reaching the woman.

"Mother, I tell you, you cannot believe what's happening. Grace tried to stop me from coming to my wedding...SLAP!"

A loud smack interrupted Eira, the burning pain instantly occupied half her face, leaving a red mark on her face.

"You wench, what kind of behaviour are you putting on at your sister's wedding?" the cold voice of her mother ran out, giving her another slap.

"WEDDING? SISTER'S WEDDING? BIG DAY?" Eira muttered, her brain not quite processing the information. She had a younger sister; yes, she was not denying it, but what the hell was the wedding? The younger sister she knew was still single and not even dating, so where did the husband came from?

"Could it be that the slap made me a little stupid? Yes, it must be; I have started hearing things," Eira shook her head, bringing up excuses to make herself feel okay.

"Mom, why did you slap me? I am having a wedd...SLAP!" A third slap came from her mother, silencing her and making her come to terms with reality. "Security, come and throw this wedding crasher out." her mother's cold voice rang out once more; this time, she was sure she heard it well.

"Wedding crasher? This was her wedding; why would she crash her wedding?" Mira's brain froze. Shock, disbelief and, most of all, confusion were the only things present in her life right now.

The security guards came as she stood there like a statue, still processing the information. The tall, menacing men snapped her out of her daze. "I am not leaving this place until I get to the root of the matter?" Eira's face hardened as she prepared for a fight.

Before the confrontation could hit off, a loud voice announced the groom's arrival. All eyes turned to the entrance, including Eira, who was still wishing in her heart that maybe the groom was a different person from her groom. Sadly, her wishes were not heard as the groom drew nearer, revealing the handsome, proud face of her fiance, Paul Stoneheart.

As if to taunt her more and make her stupid, the announcer announced the bride's arrival. "BRIDE, WHAT BRIDE! I AM THE BRIDE. THIS IS MY WEDDING, MY BIG DAY, WHAT IS HAPPENING?" Eria shouted, but no one paid heed to her as all eyes were focused on the delicate woman whose hands were wrapped around the arms of a middle-aged man.

The appearance of the two people made her eyes sting; they were her father and sister. Her younger sister was there, grinning like a fool as she was about to take her sister's husband.

The thought set off a fire in Eira's heart as she unhandled herself from the security men and ran towards the aisle. With very long strides she didn't know she could make previously, she rushed and stood in the middle of the two lovers.

"Eira, what are you doing? Why are you crashing my wedding?" the younger sister, Lara, said, her face frowning.

"WEDDING CRASHER AGAIN? WHO EXACTLY IS DOING THAT?" Eria's voice was equally as cold.

Chapter 2 DEATH BY THE MISCHIEVOUS GOD

"What are you all looking at? Get her out of this place." Eira's Mom's cold voice rang out after some time.

The security men blushed furiously as they rushed to apprehend Eira. They were well-known bodyguards, but today, a bereaved bride had escaped from them twice, treating them like clowns. Even without the reprimand of Vera, Lara's mom, the security men were already itching to teach Eria a lesson.

"Paul, I want you to look me straight and tell me exactly what is happening. Are you supposed to get married to me or not?" Eira looked at Paul desperately; the once unattainable goddess was now looking celestial: smudged makeup, torn dress, heartbroken appearance; the sight of Eira's desperate self-made Paul excited even more than his wedding.

"What do you think?" Paul gave Eira a mocking look as he took Lara to his side, his mouth pecking on her head.

The remaining hope in Eira's mind shattered like a piece of glass, making her step back and come close to her father, Jake Croft.

"Eira, you have done enough. I am disappointed in you, "Jake's emotionless voice sounded as he dragged Eira, trying to pull her away.

"Dad, wait. I would like to thank her for something." Lara's cute voice sounded as she approached Eira in her heels. With a gentle pull, she took Eira's hands and held them before she began talking. "Eira, I am so thankful to you; you are the most selfless person on earth; not only did you give me your groom, but you also gave me your company; how can I ever repay you, you bastard sister," Lara whispered to Eira.

"What are you saying?" Eira pushed Lara slightly, but Lara, the dramatic queen, fell to the ground and began to hold her ankle as if she had broken it. Seeing that, everyone gave Eira a weird look, even those who sympathised with her. After all, they didn't hear what Lara told Eira. They only saw Eira pushing her innocent younger sister with a furious expression.

"Eira, you wench, you are simply beyond saving" Paul slapped Eira and pushed her away; the force of his push was at least ten times that of what Eira pushed Lara, but still Eira didn't fall, proving that Lara was just a drama queen but no one sided with her, not even one person.

Despite the ridiculing voices around her and the painful slap that threatened to close her right ear, Eira remained motionless; the only thing she could hear was the words Lara said, 'giving me your company'. The words were just four simple words but came like thunder to Eira's ears.

Three days ago, Eira remembered signing some documents without reading them, though Jake had given them to her. If Lara is telling the truth, then those documents were indeed the company she had played with; she did give her company up.

"Why?" Eira spoke to Jake, her eyes gathering tears that threatened to pour down. She just couldn't understand; she was also his daughter; why the blatant favouritism?

"What!" Jake gave Eira an impassive look, his face cold as if he wasn't looking at his daughter of 25 years but at an enemy. His look only served to fuel Eira's anger and curiosity. "Why are you doing this to me, all of you? I am your daughter, too. Must you put me down so that Lara can achieve something? I am your daughter, your firstborn!"

Eira's voice cracked as she beat her chest furiously, her face already red with helplessness and anger.

Before Jake could say anything, Vera immediately began to rant. "You are not my daughter; why should we treat you like anything." she smiled as she saw Eira's shocked expression and continued to speak. "Let me tell you this: You were such a little wench that my grandma picked you up from the orphanage.

You are just an orphan; we tried our best to raise you, but instead of you knowing your place, you dared to convert our daughter's place. You don't know, but every time I saw you smiling, answering first Miss as if that was truly what you are, going around with Paul and riding all those fancy cars that should have belonged to my daughter, my hands felt like strangling you." Vera's voice was practically dripping with venom as her words slashed at Eira, cutting her heart.

"Today is really a good day, evil is being eliminated." Grace who came in at some point said with a small smile.

Everyone laughed at the joke, looking at Eira with cameras ready to take a picture of her sorry appearance.

Eira looked around the place; she could still make out the faces of most of her business partners and secret admirers who used to crush on her to no end now looking at her with disdain, most of them trying to capture her embarrassing appearance on their phone.

Eira let out a self-deprecating laugh, her eyes bright, dimming like a broken torch; tears graced Eira's eyes for the first time in ten years. She, known as the ice goddess, the most beautiful woman in the Eastern region, and the genius self-made billionaire girl, gave way to tears.

Eira tried to stop the tears as she knew that this was what her enemies wanted to see, a broken Eira, but the moment one teardrop fell, the others rushed out from her eyes like a waterfall. This was torture even for a person who was hearted solid like Eira; in just a few hours, she lost her sense of identity, became an orphan, lost her marriage and lost her empire to a bunch of dogs. The pain was so great that soon, the crying turned into a full-on brawl, making laughter resound all over the place.

Hands pointed at Eira as they mocked, especially people who had long been jealous of her beauty, talent and success. Most wished they had two phones to video Eira's humiliation from all angles.

"I will have my revenge", Eira said as she ran off helplessly, but no one cared as they kept laughing. As Eira came out, her eyes glanced at the wedding poster by the side, which made her laugh. The poster had Lara and Paul's picture on it. So all this while, she was the fool deluding herself, thinking it was her happy day.

As she walked, she could hear her occasional laughter coming from the hotel staff; without a doubt, they all knew that she would get humiliated, but no one even came to tell her.

It was true talk when the drunk wise man said that people always loved to beat a drowned dog. Most people love the day of their downfall better than the day they rise; that's why the most ridiculous thing to do is have friends because with friends comes betrayal.

Soon, Eira stepped out of her hotel after what seemed like an eternity; her feet were walking as if she had no control over them, just one step at a step, a subconscious action. Eira sighed, her face having no hint of blood in it. She might have shouted arrogantly that she would have her revenge, but she knew her current situation.

Her chances of revenge were close to 0, I mean who would help her? She was a nobody right now; who would go against the great Croft family and the Stoneheart family for a drowned-out person like her, and not to mention she had a lot of enemies herself, and her potential has long been wasted on her Empire.

Eira sighed as she tried to look up, but a loud BAAM sounded before she could move her head. Laying in her pool of blood, Eira could feel her body was in pieces; her entire body fell apart, and intense pain was being transferred to her brain every second.

"Seriously, can't I even have a chance to take revenge? What is the deal with this world?" Eira had an unwilling expression; why did she forget to pray this morning?

As Eira lay there waiting for death, the door of the truck that hit her opened up and an effeminate-looking man who was even more beautiful than Eira came out. With just one step, he came right next to Eira and squatted near her head. "Hmm, what strong resentment! Why would a human harbour this much hatred in such a small heart?" the effeminate man touched his jaw in confusion, but his musings are interrupted by Eira, who vomits a thick sludge of blood.

"Hey, are you okay? Does it hurt?" the effeminate man bent very close to Eira and asked when Eira vomited blood.

Eira, who was already losing consciousness, almost felt like giving the effeminate man a big slap to the face; her already mangled face twisted even more. What kind of nonsense question was that? Why doesn't he just give her one chance to let her crush him with that big ass truck!

Eira had a ton of insults to haul at the effeminate man, but she could even talk; with her last strength, she gave him a middle finger before she died.

Effeminate man "..."

"Did I just get told to fuck off by a puny human? This is interesting, hahaha! To think I will come across such an interesting person." the effeminate man laughed wantonly after a brief period of shock.

"It will be a pity for you to just die like this, well then. Let me see your conviction, small lass" The voice of the effeminate man barely ended before a blinding light engulfed Eira, swallowing her whole.

"Don't disappoint me." the effeminate man said as he cracked like a broken puzzle, disappearing into the void.

Chapter 3 REBORN BY TO SEVEN YEARS: FIRST MEETING WITH PAUL.

In a small bed that seemed to creak at every turn of the owner, a fifteen to sixteen-year-old girl was shaking in her sleep. Delicate drops of sweat had already gathered over her tiny forehead, her skinny appearance appearing more frail like a small boat amidst a stormy sea.

"NO!!!!" A terrific shout escaped from her mouth as she shot up the bed, her eyes holding a few drops of tears.

"I AM BACK!" The teenager said after a few minutes, her voice sounding slightly high-pitched. That teenager was, of course, Eira. She had been having the same dream for three consecutive days: her Empire being destroyed, her fiance being snatched, and her parents telling her she was not their daughter, and the place where she always woke up was the place where she died. Initially, she was sceptical, thinking it was a dream, but now, she is sure it was her life. If that was the case, the only reasonable reason why a dead person like her should be breathing is one thing -she has been reborn. She has been given a second chance.

Eira looked at the small room, her eyes flashing with hurt as she clenched her palms. This was the room she lived in for 18 years before she gained recognition in the family; she was living in a makeshift store room that was as small as a bathroom, and the entire area of the room was barely as long as 14 leg strides in length.

In the small room, there was no wardrobe, no fancy toys, just a tiny table and a bag of clothes. "Why didn't I notice that there was something wrong? I should have guessed it from the start -the fact that I am not their daughter."

Eira gave a sad smile; the Croft family was once a secret wealthy family paired with the stoneheart family; their net worth was well into hundreds of millions, but all that changed when the old grandpa died, and the company was passed on to Jake Croft, her fake father who of course ruined the great wealth passed on to him. From a family with hundreds of millions net worth, they barely reached 90 million now because of the old grandmother who was helping Jake. If not, Jake would have long ruined generations of hard work.

With this kind of family, Eira should live in a princess room no matter how the family felt about her, because the Croft family was still entitled to their ancestral mansion. Still, despite the big rooms and empty rooms in the mansion, she only got a small store as her room. This was glaring evidence that she was not their child!

"YOU ARE NOT OUR CHILD, YOU WENCH. YOU WERE JUST A SLAVE WE BROUGHT, BUT YOU ARE TRYING TO GET UNDER OUR SKIN, YOU DESERVE EVERYTHING THAT IS COMING TO YOU."

The memories from her previous life stung her, the cold voice of Vera mocking and lashing at her so much that Eira closed her eyes.

"This would not do; I need to control myself; at this rate, I might just pick up a knife and kill all of them. "Eira held her heart; her heart was filled with rage and a desire for vengeance that was trying to cloud her judgment. "I need to get power; that is the only way I can make them pay, make them experience all the things I experienced, the emotional, physical and mental pain. I will make them all pay!"

"Young miss Eira, the madam is calling you." a voice that Eira would never forget resounded from the hallway. Eria frowned as she took a peek through her door. Seeing the face of the person, her previously calm anger almost erupted into a boiling volcano. That person was Grace, her so-called friend and maid.

Standing at the door, Grace looked at the small hallway in disdain, her hands all over her mouth; she was unaware that Eira was watching her through the keyhole, so she was unbridled and exposed her true character.

"What a bitch." Eira sneered as she opened the door; the moment the door creaked, a humble smile came upon Grace's face naturally as she smiled at Eira while doing a slight bow. "Miss, the madam is looking for you. You should go to the other main flat like now and this," Grace said while holding a small white gown. "She says you should put it on when you are going."

"Hmm", Eira flashed a cold smile as she muttered inwardly." isn't today the first day I met Paul, the day I officially came across this fiance of mine?"

In her past life, she met Paul on this day and without even accepting her greeting, he wanted to break up; Eira, who had already fallen for his handsome and charismatic self, refused. That quest to prove herself was what led to her eventual success.

It can be said that Paul was a major voice of motivation for Eira, but it is a pity, despite everything, Paul still cruelly abandoned Eira and went for Lara.

It is said that if a man doesn't love you, even plucking the stars and giving the world to him would change nothing, but if he loves you, your fart is like the most expensive perfume in his eyes, your shortcomings would be seen as cute and your strengths would be perfect in his eyes. In her previous life, this was a sad case for Lara, Paul, and her.

"You can go; I am coming," Eira said sternly as she closed the door. She didn't even bother taking the white dress from Grace's hands; that was Lara's hand-downs. The white dress looked expensive and well-kitted at first glance. Still, the fact that Grace, who always took all her good stuff, didn't even look at the clothes twice meant one thing: it was either a knockoff outfit or a ripped outfit and based on what happened in her previous life, Eira was sure it was the former, knockoff wear. An outfit that Lara bought so that when Eira wears it, she will lower her value in Paul's eyes.

Truly, though, in her past life, Eira wore these knockoffs and embarrassed herself well in Paul's eyes.

"This time, I would be the one to break this engagement!" Eira said with a determined expression as she stepped out of the room. "You are still here," Eira said, a flicker of surprise and mockery flashing through her eyes as she looked at Grace.

"Weird, why does she seem like a different person?" Grace said she was not feeling Eira's sudden change.

"Don't tell me, does she think she is already married to Paul? Is that why she is behaving in such a rude way? What a joker! She would never end with Paul, "Grace mumbled as she lowered her head to hide the rage and envy practically colouring her eyes.

"Nothing, I am not....hey, young miss, wait for me!" Grace was about to reply to Eira's question, but the moment she raised her head, she found out she was alone. Eira had long walked away without her.

"PAUL. THE CROFT FAMILY, THE ENTIRE WORLD WHO TURNED ON ME, I HOPE YOU ARE ALL READY FOR MY WRATH."

The hard-hitting words echoed in the hallway as the teenager walked away, a shadow of her previous self merging into her body.
