In her past life, Olivia Smith was forced into mate with Aiden Brown, the illegitimate son of the Brown Wolfpack Alpha and his mistress. Yet Aiden's heart belonged to his fated mate and childhood sweetheart, Mia. No matter how much Olivia sacrificed, Aiden never returned her affection. Her unwavering loyalty was met with betrayal, humiliation, and ultimately death from her husband and son. But fate had other plans. Olivia was given a second chance, waking up at the beginning of her disastrous marriage. This time, she vowed to change everything. She wouldn't play the victim again. Revenge would be her weapon. But apart from Aiden and Mia, standing in her way was Aria Smith, her half-sister. Aria had been jealous of Olivia's medical skill and beaty since childhood. She tried everything she could to hurt Olivia. Once Aria saved Alexander Clark, the future Alpha of Clark Wolfpack-the most powerful pack on the continent. To repay her, Alexander promised Aria he would take her as his chosen mate though his wolf had no feeling for her. In her previous life, Aria married Alexander and used her new status to torment Olivia. Now reborn, Olivia swore to stop Aria from becoming Alexander's chosen mate. At first, Alexander saw Olivia as nothing more than a passing distraction. His wolf reacted uncontrollably in her presence, burning with a desire he couldn't understand. Yet, to Alexander, Olivia was simply a plaything-a beautiful toy to satisfy his urges. His teasing and indifference pushed Olivia to keep her distance. But as their paths crossed again and again, Alexander found himself drawn to Olivia's quiet strength and intelligence. What began as lust turned into something far more dangerous-an obsession. Alexander showered Olivia with lavish gifts, from gold bars to personal guards, as he tried to inch closer to her. In a twist of fate, Olivia's medical skills saved William, the younger brother of Clark Wolfpack Luna, William. William was Alexander's uncle and also his best friend. After that, Olivia earned her the respect of the Clark Wolfpack and William's heart. Luna Isabella, Alexander's mother, took Olivia in as her adopted daughter, further solidifying Olivia's standing within the city. Slowly but surely, Alexander's feelings began to shift. His teasing turned protective, and his gaze lingered longer than it should. No one, not even Aria, was allowed to lay a finger on Olivia. But as his devotion grew, so did his doubts. Could it really have been Aria who saved him? Or had she stolen Olivia's credit? After all, Olivia's wolf inherited the Smith Wolfpack's medical abilities-Aria didn't even know how basic medical knowledge. Still, Olivia remembered the pain of her past life. To her, Alexander's affection felt more like possession-a new kind of prison. But Olivia wasn't naïve. She knew Alexander was a powerful piece on the chessboard of revenge. To take down Aiden, Mia, and Aria, she needed him. As Olivia and Alexander's lives became more entangled, their relationship teetered on a razor's edge-caught between passion and power, hatred and longing. When the truth about Olivia's role in saving Alexander finally begins to surface, the question remains-how will Olivia face his love? And with William's growing affection for her, will she find herself trapped between two powerful men, each vying for her heart and loyalty? In this gripping tale of love, revenge, and redemption, Olivia and Alexander's fates intertwine beneath the moonlight, where every secret revealed brings them closer to the edge.

Chapter 1 Olivia was reborn

"If I were Luna's son, do you think I'd marry you? I would've married Mia ages ago."

Aiden Brown, Olivia Brown's husband, said it as if it were a joke.

But Olivia remembered that line for the rest of her life.

Aiden's fated mate was Mia Taylor. Anytime he got near Mia, his wolf went wild.

But his status wasn't good enough for Mia.

Aiden was the son of the Brown Wolfpack Alpha's mistress. Mia, on the other hand, was the niece of the Brown Wolfpack Luna. Socially, he didn't stand a chance.

Olivia, however, was his chosen mate - because he had no other option.

As the son of a mistress, Aiden didn't have much money to his name. Desperate for a better life, he forced Olivia to sell her pharmacy - the most valuable piece of property her grandfather had left her - right when the business hit trouble.

Shortly after they got married, Mia left for a werewolf boarding school abroad.

Olivia had been saving up, and when she trusted Aiden to deposit that money into the bank, she thought nothing of it.

Three years later, when their son fell ill and Olivia needed to withdraw the funds, she found out Aiden had sent it all to Mia.

"She's all alone at that school. I just wanted to make sure she's comfortable," he told her.

Their son was in the hospital, hanging by a thread. Olivia didn't have the energy to argue. Instead, she pawned a set of diamond jewelry to cover the expensive medical bills.

When their son was discharged two weeks later, Aiden shrugged.

"You worry too much. A few herbs would've been enough. Waste of money," he said casually.

Olivia then scraped together what little she had left and opened a new pharmacy from scratch.

Everyone laughed at her.

But Olivia was determined to make it work.

She was the daughter of the Smith Wolfpack - a renowned family of healers. Every few generations, one wolf in the family would inherit a rare medical gift. Her grandfather had been the last one. In this generation, it was her.

Her skills were exceptional, both in medicine and potion-making.

Those years nearly broke her.

She worked herself to the bone. Miscarried twice. By her early thirties, she already had wrinkles.

But the pharmacy thrived. She made good money.

Still, because she was always busy - because she couldn't carry a pregnancy to term - Aiden found two mistresses and fathered several more children, all while continuing to spend Olivia's hard-earned money.

That's when Mia returned from boarding school.

She was stunning, graceful, and married into high society, becoming the chosen mate of the Alpha Committee Chairman.

Mia even helped Aiden land a cushy job as the Chairman's aide. The pay was excellent.

Aiden gazed at Mia, utterly captivated.

"She's brilliant. Only someone like her deserves this," he said dreamily.

Olivia scoffed.

"She wouldn't have even gotten an education without my money."

Mia wasn't fond of Olivia.

When she visited Olivia's pharmacy, she looked around dismissively and said, "You should just close this place down."

Olivia refused, and things escalated.

By then, her son was already fifteen.

"Mom, even if you don't care about Dad's career, think about me. Isn't it better to be the son of the Alpha Committee Chairman's aide than the son of some random pharmacist?" he said.

He had grown up accustomed to his mother's sacrifices. Her well-being never crossed his mind.

Olivia was so furious that she fell ill.

And that was the moment she lost the ability to shift.

To Aiden and their son, she was now useless.

"I regret ever having you," Olivia whispered weakly.

Her son just looked at her and said, "All your sisters married well. You're the only one who married the son of a mistress. Mom, I regret being born to you, too."

Olivia's chest tightened, and she passed out.

When she opened her eyes again...

She saw Aiden.

But he was younger.

"Are you okay?" His concern felt shallow, empty. "Why'd you faint out of nowhere?"

Olivia stared at him, wide-eyed.

Her husband - almost forty - now looked barely twenty.

Olivia was reborn.

Reborn on the fifth day of her marriage.

"Madam Olivia, Mr. Aiden will be staying in the study again tonight. He's still recovering from his cold and doesn't want to pass it to you," said an Omega from the Brown Wolfpack. There was a trace of disdain in her eyes.

Aiden never loved Olivia. His wolf didn't even react to her presence.

In her past life, he begrudgingly slept with her once, about a month after their wedding. After that, he preferred the study over their bedroom.

The next day, Olivia went back to the Smith Wolfpack house

Her grandmother, Amelia Smith, looked surprised to see her alone.

"Something happened?" she asked.

"No," Olivia replied softly, leaning against her. "I just wanted to see you."

Amelia gently stroked Olivia's hair.

"If the Brown Wolfpack treats you poorly, tell me. I'll stand up for you,"

Olivia smiled. "I'm fine, Grandma. I just missed you."

Olivia's mother died in childbirth, so her grandparents had raised her, treating her like a treasure.

Her grandfather had passed away last year.

In her previous life, Amelia died by the end of this year. Olivia was determined to spend more time with her.

"Grandma, where are Chloe and Zoey? The Omegas who used to serve me?" Olivia asked.

"They're still around, helping with housework," Amelia replied.

"I want to bring them with me," Olivia said firmly. "I'll make arrangements when I get back. Chloe and Zoey should continue working for me."

Amelia patted her head affectionately.

"It's good to have people you can trust."

Olivia leaned into her embrace.

"Grandma, take care of yourself. I'll be back to stay with you soon."

The Smith Wolfpack house was bustling. The front gate was being repainted and the garden meticulously pruned.

"What's all this for?" Olivia asked.

Amelia chuckled.

"Did you forget? Aria's engagement."

Ah. Olivia remembered now.

Her half-sister, Aria Smith.

In her past life, Aria had mated to Alexander Clark, the future Alpha of the Clark Wolfpack.

This continent used to be ruled by the Lycan King. After the Lycans fell, the land fractured, and powerful Wolfpacks carved it up.

Tensions simmered, with each faction vying for dominance. Everyone wanted to rise as the next Lycan King, but for now, the Wolfpacks maintained a fragile balance.

Clark Wolfpack was the strongest of them all – with the most formidable army and the greatest wealth.

They rose from Miracleburg, the same city where Smith and Brown Wolfpacks resided. The entire southern region of the continent was under their control.

In Olivia's previous life, Clark Wolfpack expanded even further, eventually pulling the strings behind the Alpha Committee.

The Chairman was nothing more than a puppet for Clark's growing power.

And Olivia remembered that almost at the same time of her wedding, Aria had returned from a trip to Goldvale City... overweight.

People laughed, saying she'd never find a husband. But then Alexander Clark appeared, proposing marriage.

Aria became his chosen mate.

The engagement and wedding were held with the highest honors.

Later, Alexander rose to Alpha, and Aria became one of the most powerful Lunas in existence.

Since childhood, Aria had envied Olivia's beauty and her talent for medicine.

Before Olivia's marriage, Aria had even stolen several of her medical cases, claiming credit and earning the title of "Perfect Doctor."

After marrying Alexander, Aria worked tirelessly to sabotage Olivia's pharmacy – terrified that Olivia's success would expose her lies.

In truth, it was Aria who orchestrated the trouble with Olivia's pharmacy and even caused her miscarriages.

Now, in this life, Aria was set to marry Alexander once again.

Olivia's fingers curled into a fist.

Can I destroy her marriage?

If Aria's engagement fell apart, Olivia could avenge her unborn children – and avoid most of the trouble ahead.

But how? I've never even met Alexander.

Oddly enough, despite all her boasting, Aria had never introduced Olivia to Alexander.

She flaunted everything – her jewels, fine dresses, servants – yet kept her husband hidden.

Strange. Wouldn't Alexander be the thing she brags about the most?

Was Alexander... ugly?

Without knowing him or the dynamics of their relationship, Olivia had no idea how to interfere.

Olivia sighed inwardly.

The path of rebirth was full of hidden dangers.

After spending some time with her grandma, Olivia left, her mind preoccupied.

On the way back, she passed by a pastry shop selling fresh Chestnut Cake – a new item on the menu.

Curious, Olivia stepped inside, but something felt... off.

When she asked for the cake, the shop boy's hands trembled slightly as he packed it.

She paid, and just as she was about to leave the shop – she was grabbed.

Thrown straight into a cell.

-Turns out, she had unknowingly walked into the middle of a Clark Wolfpack military sting. They were hunting spies.

The code word? Chestnut Cake.

Chapter 2 I’m Alexander Clark

This... had never happened in her previous life.

Olivia found herself locked up with a middle-aged woman, both confined to the same dark cell.

Half a day passed before someone finally came.

A young officer, clad in an iron-grey uniform, entered. His boots were caked with mud, and his face was cold, eyes sharp.

He opened the door to the men's cell first.

"I'm innocent! I'm not a spy!" one of the men pleaded desperately.

Bang.

A single gunshot echoed, the sound lingering far too long in the silent prison.

Olivia's nails dug into her palms, but she felt no pain.

The officer's voice was calm, low, and unforgiving.

"Who wants to speak first? I've got a headache today, and I'm not in the mood for nonsense. First one to talk gets to live."

The officer then pointed to another one.

"Your turn."

"M-me? I run a goldsmith's shop across the street! Ask anyone! I'm not a spy, I swear!"

Bang.

Another shot.

Olivia unconsciously scooted back, her heartbeat loud in her ears.

Is this what rebirth was?

Was she really going to die eighteen years earlier than she had in her past life?

The officer glanced at the terrified prisoners.

"Seems none of you want to talk. Fine. Take a few days to think it over."

He stepped out of the men's cell... and unlocked Olivia's.

Towering over her, he crouched down and grabbed her chin, forcing her to look up at him.

"Your turn. Where are your accomplices hiding?" he demanded, his gaze icy and intense.

The standard response – "I'm not a spy" – meant death.

This officer clearly didn't care about killing the wrong person. He needed results, and fear was his weapon.

Olivia's heart pounded, but her eyes remained calm.

"You've had that headache for more than two months now, haven't you? I can treat it. If I ease your pain, can you give me a chance to explain?"

The officer's expression shifted slightly.

Olivia carefully raised her hand.

Her fingers were slender, smooth, and lightly pearlescent – impeccably well-maintained.

A beautiful hand.

The officer hesitated for a moment.

Olivia pressed her hand gently against his abdomen, just above his navel.

She then increased the pressure slightly, tracing a firm line from his navel downward, repeating the motion five times.

His expression flickered.

That unbearable, stabbing pain piercing his skull suddenly dulled. The sharp, prickling sensation along his scalp faded almost instantly.

The relief was undeniable.

"I am Smith Wolfpack's daughter, sir. I can relieve your pain – permanently – if you let me. Please give me time to prove I'm innocent," Olivia said softly, her gaze steady.

The officer stared at her for a long moment.

She thought he might reject her. Or agree.

She didn't expect him to yank her to her feet and pull her into his arms.

His lips crashed against hers.

His breath was hot and sharp, consuming her in an instant.

In the back of her mind, Olivia's wolf, Stella, stirred and whispered one word.

Mate.

Olivia was released from the cell.

But instead of being sent home, she found herself escorted to a small villa with a private courtyard.

The villa had two floors, high walls, and two armed guards stationed at the gate.

Standing on the second-floor balcony, Olivia gripped the railing, her heart sinking.

Is this just another cage? When can I go home?

She deliberately ignored the way her wolf, Stella, reacted – overly restless ever since she encountered the officer.

Olivia chalked it up to prison nerves. She had long given up on the idea of ever meeting her fated mate.

There were bigger priorities. She had to change her fate this time around. Half the suffering she endured in her past life came at the hands of her half-sister, Aria.

And step one? Stop Aria from marrying into the Clark Wolfpack.

Just as that thought crossed her mind, the door creaked open.

The young officer from the prison walked in.

He was taller and more imposing than most wolves Olivia had ever met.

And easily the most handsome man she'd seen – in both her lifetimes combined.

"You said you're the daughter of the Smith Wolfpack...?" he said, settling onto a small sofa. His gaze flicked up as he motioned toward her with his chin.

"I am," Olivia replied, then added quickly, "I was married a few days ago. I'm now the daughter-in-law of the Brown Wolfpack. Smith Wolfpack produces a werewolf with a rare medical gift every few generations. In my generation... that's me."

The man said.

"I thought Aria Smith was the one with the a rare medical gift. She's the Perfect Doctor."

Olivia's expression darkened slightly.

"She's not," Olivia said evenly. "She can't even recite Wolfblood Medicine: Healing and Healthcare properly. I'm the Perfect Doctor. I can prove it."

The man raised a brow, intrigued.

"Your skills are decent. My headache's almost gone. But making a diagnosis without even checking me? Sounds more like luck."

Olivia met his gaze. "I've seen cases like yours before. But yes, an examination is necessary to confirm the diagnosis."

The man lifted his hand casually. "Go ahead."

As Olivia stepped closer, he suddenly pulled his hand back.

She hesitated, confused.

He rested his hand over his abdomen.

"Closer," he murmured with a smirk. "Don't be shy, little Perfect Doctor."

His tone was teasing.

Olivia moved in, only to find herself standing between his legs.

She froze.

Before she could step back, he grabbed her arm and pulled her straight into his lap, locking his legs around her.

"Wha–"

Before she could protest, his lips crashed onto hers.

The kiss was fierce, his tongue parting her lips and deepening without hesitation.

His hold tightened, as if he wanted to consume every bit of her breath.

Olivia shoved at his chest, twisting away.

"S-stop! You can't!" she gasped, cheeks flushed. "I–I have a husband!"

The man chuckled low, his grip unrelenting.

"Husband? Then why are you so inexperienced? What's the matter? He can't handle you?"

Olivia's face burned with fury.

"Your scent," he mused, nuzzling closer, "it dulls the pain. Echinacea."

Inside Olivia's head, her wolf Stella practically shrieked.

Olivia! Only a fated mate can detect that scent! He's our mate!

Olivia ignored Stella's excitement.

"I'll make you proper painkillers," she muttered, squirming to free herself.

"You're enough to stop the pain," he replied smoothly.

"Let go!" Olivia's voice sharpened. "Keep this up, and I swear I'll take you down with me."

After a moment, he released her.

Olivia scrambled to her feet, adjusting her clothes as she stepped back.

"Be my mistress. It'll benefit both you and your husband," he said casually, lounging back on the sofa, long legs crossed.

Olivia's lips tightened.

"Send me home. I'll make the medicine for you. I'm not a spy – feel free to investigate my entire bloodline."

The man studied her for a long moment.

"You really don't know who I am?"

Olivia shook her head.

"I'm Alexander Clark," he said.

Chapter 3 Be My Mistress

Olivia stared at him in shock.

Alexander Clark.

Aria's fiancé. The future Alpha of Clark Wolfpack. The eldest son of Alpha Joseph Clark.

In her past life, after Alexander became Alpha, he led Clark Wolfpack to dominate the entire continent, both north and south. The Alpha Committee Chairman? Just his puppet.

She'd heard countless rumors about him.

Cruel. Bloodthirsty. Lustful.

Yet, strangely... he never kept mistresses.

In the previous life, Alexander never seemed to love Aria, but he respected her, granting her an unmatched status.

"Future Alpha Alexander," Olivia's heart trembled slightly.

The last thing she wanted was to provoke Alexander into killing her.

Alexander crossed his legs, leaning back casually. "Since you know who I am, don't defy me. Light my cigar."

Olivia quickly grabbed the matchbox, striking a match and cupping the tiny flame with both hands.

The soft glow reflected against her pale fingers, and for a fleeting moment, Alexander had the absurd urge to bite her.

A strange itch settled deep in his chest. His wolf stirred restlessly.

He leaned forward to light his cigar, but at the last second, his lips brushed against her wrist instead. A fleeting kiss.

The cigar slipped from his mouth, landing softly in her palm.

Startled, Olivia gasped, the match burning out as it dropped to the floor.

"I'm sorry- I'll pick it up," she said quickly.

The cigar had rolled under the coffee table. Olivia knelt down, reaching to retrieve it.

As she stretched forward, the hem of her dress tightened at her waist, highlighting how impossibly slender she was.

Her chest pressed downward, the curve distracting enough to make Alexander's throat tighten.

His Adam's apple bobbed slightly.

Before she could stand, a heavy weight pressed against her back.

She froze.

Alexander's hand wrapped around her waist, pulling her into his lap effortlessly, one arm crossing over her chest in an almost possessive hold.

Olivia's breath caught.

Without a word, he lifted her, taking his time as his hands roamed- touching every place they shouldn't.

By the time he set her down, he was more than satisfied.

Exactly as he imagined- slim where it counted, but full and soft where it mattered.

He leaned in close, his warm breath brushing against her cheek.

"Be my mistress for three months. I'll secure your husband a position in Clark Wolfpack."

Olivia's eyes flashed with anger. "You bastard! He'd never agree to that."

Tears welled in her eyes, making them glisten under the dim light. The sight of her- so fierce yet fragile- made Alexander itch to pin her down, to strip her bare and watch her cry.

The thought alone had his wolf growling, his entire body ignited with heat.

With a careless smirk, Alexander shifted his hips, pressing against her.

Olivia paled.

"Olivia," his voice dropped to a husky whisper, "I don't force anyone. There are plenty of women willing to warm my bed. Talk it over with your husband. If he agrees... have him send you to me personally."

Her body shook with fury. "You're despicable."

Alexander's hand traced slow, deliberate circles along her lower back.

"In a few days, I'll find new entertainment. Even if you beg, I won't touch you by then."

He released her with an infuriating smirk.

"You're getting engaged!" Olivia snapped, fists clenched. "I'm your fiancée's sister."

Alexander chuckled, completely unfazed.

"That's why you shouldn't worry. I won't keep you. Once I'm done, you'll go right back to your husband."

There wasn't an ounce of shame in his voice- if anything, the sheer audacity seemed to thrill him.

Olivia stood trembling, unable to hide the rage boiling beneath her skin.

Alexander didn't linger. He strolled out, leaving her standing there alone, heart racing and mind reeling.

Later that evening, an Omega entered with paper and ink.

"Future Alpha requests the prescription for his headache," the Omega said softly.

Olivia wrote it without a word.

Before the Omega left, Olivia tugged at her sleeve.

"When can I leave?"

The Omega lowered her eyes.

"He didn't say."

"Please," Olivia whispered, slipping a gold bracelet into the Omega's hand. "Ask for me."

The Omega hesitated, but eventually nodded. "I'll try."

By nightfall, the Omega returned with dinner.

"I asked," she said quietly. "Future Alpha said once he's taken the medicine and feels fine, you'll be released."

For the next three days, Olivia remained in the villa.

Alexander came back every evening... but never set foot upstairs.

She knew nothing about what was happening outside. The uncertainty was unbearable.

On the fourth day, Alexander came upstairs.
