♠ Lieutenant A POV ♠

"Enough is enough" I shouted before I collapsed on one of the seats surrounding the table of water, all my team members were also seated on the seats, they looked up at me before Jake sighed "that's the hundredth time you are saying that, but you are still yet to do anything" he said, I glared at him before I sighed frustratingly "if only I knew joining the military will mean becoming an errand boy for those commandos and their tropes, I wouldn't have joined" sam said "me too, I wouldn't have joined, I would have listened to my mom and become a farmer" Jessie said before kelvin nodded in agreement.

I was about to speak when someone shouted "where are the cookies we asked for" we didn't need a genius to tell us who they where talking too but we ignored them, one of the soldiers from shadow wolves under commando Frederick walked up to us "hey haven't you heard me" he shouted, I looked up at him angrily "have you forgotten that you are just a soldier and I am a lieutenant" I shouted back at him.

He chuckled at what I said "well I sincerely apologize for making you angry lieutenant A" he said sarcastically "you are a lieutenant but your team members are just common soldiers, so they should obey what they higher ups asked them to do" he said, "are you teaching me the rules of the military" I asked angrily, he was quiet for a while before he said "no lieutenant A but your team members better bring the cookies before the commandos get angry" before I could speak he turned and walked away.

I hit the table out of anger "hey don't vent out your anger on the poor table" Jake said while standing up, I looked up at him before I raised an eyebrow "where are you going" I asked, he looked at me before he sighed "obviously I am going to Serve the commandos and their tropes" I hit the table angrily again before Jake walked away.

Jessie and kelvin stood up, I looked at them frustratingly "where are you two going now" I questioned, they looked at each other "we better go and see if they need anything, before we get punished again" Jessie said before I could say anything they also walked away.

Sam looked at me before I glared at him "what" I asked angrily, he thought for a while before he said "I should also go and see whether they need anything", I turned and poured a cup of water, I was about to drink it when I noticed Sam staring at me, I glared at him "get going already" I shouted, he looked at me before he stood up and also walked away.

I gobbled down the cup of water before I looked at the commandos some of them where practicing archery while some where practicing sword fight.

I sighed before I turned my attention back to my team members, Jessie and Jake where holding their sword case, seriously, they is a place to keep that but they have to make them hold it, I sighed angrily before I turned my attention to kelvin who was holding a tray with tea and cookies, they is a table to keep the tray but they have to make him hold it, I looked at Sam who was cleaning their boots before I shook my head disappointingly, I am not disappointed at them but I am disappointed at myself, if I was as strong as all those commandos, non of this would have happened.

Even though I am a lieutenant, I am under the commandos, but if I was strong they wouldn't have turned me and my team members into errand boys, the thing is that all the commandos are very powerful, they are classified actually.

Each team has five powerful commandos and each commando has his own trope of more than hundred soldiers, the first team of commandos are called "shadow wolves(elite commandos skilled in stealth and reconnaissance)" the second one are called "phoenix brigade(they are known for their resilience and rebirth after setbacks)" the third one called "lions mane( they are known for their courage and leadership)" the fourth one are called "viper squadrons ( there are specialist in swift, and decisive strikes)" the fifth one are called "thunderclaw unit( commandos who strike with the force of storm)" the sixth one are called "ghost ravens(an elite team known for their secrecy and deadly efficiency)" the seventh team are called "blaze force( commandos who are fearless and relentless in battle)" the eighth team are called "dragons fang(a fearsome group known for their fierce combat skills)" the ninth team are called "frostbite rangers(specialist in cold weather warfare and survival)" the tenth team are called "eagles eye unit(renowned for their precision and strategic prowess)".

And this are the eleven military teams of eldoria kingdom the powerful military force that makes up eldoria, oh I forgot the introduce the eleventh team, they are called "team weaklings (known for they ability to carry more than ten trays of tea, coffee,water and cookies, one tray at the top of the other, known for they ability to run fast and run errands in a short time, known for they ability to stand still with a apple on they head while the commandos and their tropes practice archery)" and that's me and my team members we are the team weaklings.

I don't even know how we ended up with that name, but that's what everyone calls our team, infact whenever they is a military problem, or there are some bandits attacking the people, we never get involved in solving the problem or fighting the bandits, but I don't care about that especially fighting bandits, is clear enough to everyone in the military that I can't fight, the only question I always get is how I ended up in the military and as a lieutenant, well there is a long story behind that, I have never told anyone how I ended up as a lieutenant, and I also hope nobody finds out.

Nobody here also know my real name, they all just know my name begins with later A, and they only know that because I am called lieutenant A, even my team members don't know my real name, and they are the only ones I am close to, I am not close to the commandos and their tropes because their are all arrogant, too arrogant actually, they don't even speak to me, whenever their speak to me is to send me on errands or ask me to stand still then their will place an apple on my head and practice archery.

Well the thing is, we are only two women in the entire military, the other one is commando Cecily, she is a commando a very strong one actually, she is part of team "thunderclaw unit" and she is very beautiful, so is obvious some of the commandos like her.

She doesn't even spares me a glance, she has never really talked to me actually, and I won't talk to her first, I have pride too, she walks around with her head held up high, she thinks the world is beneath her feet, she is arrogant to everyone except commando Reginald, well even I am grumpy to everyone except that guy, he is from team blaze forces and believe me when I say he is the most handsome guy in the entire military, and he is also one of the top commandos when it comes to sword fight, horse ride, and archery, he is the best at everything.

I sighed imaginatively, I wonder how it will feels when we end up together, I was deep in my imagination when someone snapped a finger in Front of my face bringing me out of my trains of thoughts, I looked at the person questionably, it was Jake, he sat down on one of the chairs before he said "you are imagining your life with commando Reginald aren't you" I looked at him suspiciously "how did you know" I asked, he glared at me before he sighed "as if" he said shortly.

Well only my team members know that I have a crush on commando Reginald, my team members are like my family so I tell them everything, that's why are so curious when I refused to tell them my real name and I also refused to tell them about my family, and even if I didn't tell them about my crush on commando Reginald, it's quite obvious, I mean every lady that lays there eyes on him likes him from the moment they do, even the military cooks, and whenever we are passing through the city all the ladies in the city just keep looking at him.

"stop dreaming about ending up with that guy" Jake said, I frowned before I looked at him "what do you mean" I asked, he was quiet for a while before he said "come on A, he is a commando one of the top in this military, very strong and powerful, but you on the other hand you are just a lieutenant and you are not even strong, to him you are just a weakling who got into the military through connections, to him you are just someone he sends to errands" he conclusion.

Well even though he sends me to errands I am happy whenever it is him who called me and I finish the errands as fast as I could so that he can give me some attention.

But seems like all I do is in Vail, he doesn't even send me on much errands.

I glared at Jake "just wait and watch, we will end up together, I will even send you an invitation to our wedding" I said he chuckled at what I said before he said "whatever, by the time you, yourself are invited to his wedding that's when you will realize I have been telling you the truth" "the painful Truth" I shouted "well you rather leave in a sweet lie?" he questioned.

"yes" I shouted he looked at me before he shook his head in disappointment, I sighed frustratingly before I smacked his head, making him to turn his attention to me, he glared at me "you need help" he said, I raised an eyebrow "forget it" he said before he stood up "where are you going now" I asked annoyingly he was quiet for a while before he said "I am going to back to my job" I furrowed my eyebrows "job?" I said questionably.

He sighed " we are not soldiers A, we are errand boys for soldiers and commandos" he stated, I looked at him about to talk but I decided against it, he is right, both me and then are errand boys and houseboys for the commandos and their tropes, he snapped a finger in front of me, making me to look up at him.

"what are you thinking now" he questioned, "nothing " I said shortly and tiredly, he sighed before he put a hand on my shoulder "don't worry A, there will come a Time when we also will be commandos, strong and powerful Ones just like them, that's when non of them will dare to speak with us anyhow talk less of sending us on errands" he said, I chuckled before I said "probably in the next life".

He laughed at what I said "well Instead of Day dreaming of a perfect life with commando Reginald how about you dream about what I just said, and trust me when I say that will make you more happy" he said "we will see about that" I replied, he nodded before he said "I should go back to work then" I was quiet for a while before i said "go, I will right behind you".

"you are also coming to work for the commandos" he said like it was unbelievable, I sighed before I nodded "if all of you are there, I should also go and help you" I said, he was quiet for a while before he said "you sure you are alright A" "ummm, even if I don't go now the commandos will still ask for me and still send me on errands" I replied, he nodded in agreement before I also stood up "lets get going already" I said, he laughed a little before he started walking and I followed behind him.

CHAPTER 2

♦Prince Leopold POV♦

"All rise, his Majesty king Alaric valenor, the great king of eldoria, is entering the court" the announcer announced, as I stood up all the other court members also stood up including my mother queen Rowenna Valenor, I watched as my father king Alaric walked to his throne with his advisor Baron Marcus and his knight Sir Akbel and some guards behind him, his advisor and knight walked to they seats before he walked up the steps and sat on his throne, before me and my mom sat down followed by the court members "what's on today's agenda" the king asked, as usual he is going straight to the point.

Duke Sebastian stood up "I greet his Majesty the king of eldoria and her majesty the queen of eldoria and the prince" he said the king nod in response "the empire is in perfect condition your majesty, and I believe under your leadership it will always be" duke Sebastian said.

As usual he is trying to please the king with his words.

"Eldoria is a peaceful kingdom, a regal kingdom with a long history my family has ruled this kingdom for generations, since my ancestors have built it and they have maintained the peace of the empire, that's why I always try my best to make sure the kingdom is in peace" the king said "and I hope this peace can last forever" he added gaining lot's of praises from the court.

"may your highness live long and prosper more across the country" duke Sebastian said before he walked back to his seat and sat down, then suddenly general Arthur the head of military stood up and walked to the middle of the court "eldoria is a very peaceful kingdom as you said your majesty, but unfortunately some people are trying to disrupt our peace" he said gaining everyone's full attention.

"disrupt our peace?" the king asked before general Arthur nodded "yes your majesty, some soldiers from kingdom Ravenna have started attacking some parts of the kingdom, they have started attacking emerald vale( A lush, fertile valley famous for its agriculture) and as you know your majesty that's the main source of food and cotton of the kingdom, lots of famers have been killed, livestock's and plants have been destroyed....." before general Arthur could continue, a soldier walked into the court with blood all over his body and clothes.

My eyes widened as I look at the injuries on his body, the soldier almost collapsed on the floor but managed to regain his steps he bowed down and said "I greet his Majesty the king of eldoria" the soldier was about to speak again but was cut off when lord Harrington said "and who dares enters the courts without the king permission" he said in his usual calm but threatening voice "you have a dead wish don't you?" he asked the guard.

Hearing that the guard went down on his knees immediately and said " I apologize for my informal behavior, but the news I brought cannot wait my lord" "and what is so important that you can't wait?" duke Soren asked.

"I am a soldier from the Shadow wolves, as usually we were going round Ravenwood (a part of the palace, mostly forest) doing our usual survey when we were suddenly attacked....." the soldier said before his body began trembling "who dares attack our territory" lord harrington said.

The guard brought out a paper from his pocket "I have been send to deliver a message to his Majesty" he said "from?" general Arthur asked, the soldier's body began shaking before he said "from a commando of kingdom Ravenna" by now everyone in the court has widen their eyes waiting for him to continue "may I read the message your majesty" the soldier asked the King was quiet for a while before he said "go ahead" the soldier nodded before he opened the piece of paper.

"the great King of Ravenna, king Godric lethwynn greets king Alaric of eldoria, this message is to inform the king of eldoria that the great king of Ravenna has taken interest in the kingdom of eldoria and wants it to be one of his territories, so he will advise king Alaric to peaceful surrender the empire to him, if not they will be a flood but not of water, instead it will be flood of blood" the soldier concluded, "they have already taken over ravenwood" the soldier said.

I was angry by now and you could feel the anger of everyone in the court, general Arthur stood "who do they think they are?" he shouted at the soldier, the soldier started shivering before the king said "go back to your sit Arthur" general Arthur was angry but had to go back to his seat.

It was quiet obvious everyone in the court was angry, including the king but knowing him he would never show he is angry, I looked at my mom who by now was tensed it could show all over her body, the later must have affected her, my mom is a very loving caring and peaceful person so am sure she doesn't like the content of the later.

"what should we do about this your majesty" lady Vivienne asked, I looked at dad waiting for his response but he was quiet, knowing dad he won't result to war he will probably ask to negotiate with them "war isn't a choice" queen Rowenna said, making everyone's attention to turn to her.

"I agree with you your majesty" duke Soren said, I looked at my mom angry at what she said, I knew It, they wont result to war, I looked at general Arthur waiting for him to at least try to convince them but he was quiet, I then sighed before I turned and looked at dad, " since their have already started attacking our territories I don't think their will be willing to negotiate" I said gaining everyone's attention I could see mom looking at me unbelievable, but I ignored her and continue " so obviously war is the best option".

By know mom was glaring at me, unlike my parents I hate peace, I don't know why but seeing blood makes me feel relaxed and calm, I like the sound of flesh being torn apart, but my parents here are peace makers, my mom already knows the type of person I am, but kept on doing her best to change me, I was 17 when she realized she couldn't change me, cause that just who I am, she realized that when I killed her dear kitten, since childhood I have been killing all sorts of pets in the palace, especially the ones that belongs to my dads concubines, whenever I do that mom will sat me down and give me a lecture about the consequences of what I have done, she will say my dad will be angry and will never talk to me again but that never happened, instead even after my dads concubines went to him and create all sorts of lies, sometimes they are even crying he has never punished me.

Instead he will feed me all sorts of candies while telling me not to do it again, I guess they all taught I was doing that because I was young and naïve, unknown to them it just feels good whenever I tear the flesh of the animals apart, it feels more good when I see their blood all over my body, my parents realized the type of person I was when I killed that kitten, my mom loved that kitten so much because it was the only child her late cat had, I didn't meant to hurt her, but I did that was when she cried the whole night, and ignored me for two days before we went back to how we where before, but dad never stopped lecturing me, he will always find time and call me claming he wants us to chart, but all he ever those is find ways to tell me that I should try to be more peaceful, and calm.

The king looked at me before he said "war isn't an option leopold" I was about to speak when mom said "I agree with that" I looked at her and she gave me a soft look obviously asking me to please shut up, I sighed angry before I turned and face my front.

"since their have taken over Raven wood, general Arthur you should send some soldiers to deliver a message that I will like to meet the king of Ravenna" king Alaric said, "as you ordered your majesty" "General arthur rreplied.

General Arthur then stood up bowed a little to the king before he turned and walked out of court, immediately also Duke soren stood up walked to the middle of the court and bowed a little "I request to leave the court early your majesty, as I am not feeling so well your majesty" duke Soren said, the king was quiet for a while before he said "You may go Soren" king alaric said.

"thanks your majesty" duke Soren said before he turned and bowed in front of queen Rowenna before he turned and walked out.

am angry, I am angry, my heart is pounding hard against my chest, my vision is becoming blurry, I can't hear, see or think well, I have to find a way to get out of here, before I loose control, my mom can't see me like this, even though she knows I loose control of my mind when I am angry, I keep on trying to show her am okay, I know she knows am not but since I kept on insisting I can't show her am not okay, I have to keep my perfect composure.

I glanced at my mom direction and my heart beat began to slow down, my mom was looking at me worriedly, I could see tears in her eyes, she is worried about me, I didn't thought she will figure out the situation I am in this quick, I gave her a soft forceful smile to show her am okay, but she did what I didn't wanted her to do, she stood up and said " I have to take my leave your majesty, the crown prince and I have something important to talk about " dad turned and looked at her before he said "you can go my dear" she smiled at him before she looked at me "let's go Leopold" she said.

She turned and walked to the corner door which we the royal family use, I stood up and bowed a little to the king before I walked behind her.

We walked into the palace halls, the palace floor was made of marble with massive pillars the entire hallway was lighted up beautiful with beautiful chandeliers and flowers, I hate the lights actually, I like darkness, I like to seat alone in darkness. and the hall was silent the only sound that could be heard is the sound of our footsteps.

With each steps I take I could feel myself calm down, I could see clearly, I wasn't seeing black anymore my vision was becoming normal, I kept on taking deep breaths so as to calm down.

Mom was about to walk to the palace library but she suddenly stopped and turned and walked to the stairs, she climbed the stairs and I followed behind her, she walked to the massive doors of her chamber before she pushed the door open she walked into her beautiful decorated chamber, and walked to bed.

She sat on the bed and pat the other side of the bed signaling for me to sit beside her, I walked and sat down beside her before I rest my head on her shoulder.

"are you okay dear" she questioned with worries filled in her voice, I was about to speak when she said "you miss her don't you", my heart sank before I looked up at her, I could feel tension rise up through out my body, I could feel tears in my eyes.

"I do mom" I said with my voice breaking "son" she dragged from her voice I knew she was also at the verge of tears "she is okay where ever she is, and am sure she is happy also" she said, is quite obvious she is also trying to comfort herself and also trying to make herself believe that she is okay and happy, I sighed heavily before I stood up "I will get going now mom" I said as she looked up at me, she gave me a weak smile trying to his her sadness before she said "okay son go and get some rest" I nodded and gave a smile before I turned and walked out of the Chamber.

Mom said I should get some rest, she knows I won't but she still asked me too, so maybe I should try and get some.

I was about to open the door to my chamber when a voice behind me said "your majesty the king has summoned you" I turned and looked at the man standing beside me, it was Davis my right hand man, I nodded in response "where is he " I asked "the library your highness" he responded.

That means he is with some court officials, cause if dad wants to chat with me alone he will ask me to come to his resting parlor or chamber, but since it's the library its probably to discuss court matters.

I walked to the stairs with davis behind me, I descendant the stairs and walked to the direction of the library, Davis opened the door of the library and I walked in,but he stayed outside, as I thought, the library was filled with the entire court officials, all seated on the massive circular table, I walked to the right side seat of dad which is my usual sitting position before I sat down.

Mom wasn't here so the left side seat was empty, dad probably didn't call her so she can rest, dad was about to start talking when the door to the library opened, I looked up expecting mom cause she was the only one missing but my soft expression turned into a frown, when I saw Isolde, she is one of the kings concubine.

What is she doing here, she shouldn't be involved in court matters, everyone's attention turned to here as she walked to the left side seat of dad, I was looking at her angrily by know, what does she think she is doing, I was about to shout and ask her what she was doing here when the king said "what are you doing here lady Isolde".

She gave him that usually disgusting smile of her before she said " I wanted to join the court meeting today your highness" .

What does she mean by that she wants to seat at my moms chair she wants to replace my mom, I took in a deep breath so I won't do anything that will make mom sad when she finds out, I looked at dad waiting for him to send her away, but instead he turned and faced the court members, is he allowing to stay and seat in my moms place, he would probably wait and talk to her later and ask her never to do that again, knowing dad he wont want to disgrace her in front of the court members.

She gave me a side smirk before she dragged the seat, she was about to seat down when I stood up "DON'T YOU DARE" I shouted, everyone in the court was looking at me by know, I could see lady Vivienne smiling, she was also probably waiting for me to stop her, she is moms close friend so she must have also been angry about what Isolde was about to do.

As expected dad was just facing his front ignoring what was happening in his surroundings.

Lady Isolde gave me a daring look before she turned and looked at dad with an innocent look, but still dad didn't look at her "how dare you think you can replace my mom Isolde" I shouted at her, she was looking at me but she didn't say anything.

"get out before I ask the guards to throw you out, or probably for it myself" I said trying to be as calm as possible, I know she wanted to speak back after me, but since the king was here she wouldn't she always showed him she is innocent and fragile so she won't want him to see the kind of witch she is.

She gave a forceful smile before she bowed a little "am sorry for making you angry crown prince, but I didn't meant it that way I will never try and replace the queen" she said, from her voice it was clear that she was crying probably trying to get sympathy from the king and others.

"I will take my leave know" she added before she turned and walked out of the chamber, I inhaled and exhaled before I sat back down on my seat "calm down son" dad said quiet enough for only me to here, I nodded in response before dad began with the meeting.

CHAPTER 3

♠ Lieutenant A POV ♠

*Let's grab some lunch" jessie said to me and the others, we were preparing the field for the commandos afternoon sword practice, but its know time for lunch "yeah am so hungry" kelvin replied emphasizing on the hungry part, I chuckled at what he said before I said "let's get something to eat then soldiers" "as you say lieutenant" jake said while saluting, we all boosted out laughing before we stopped what we were doing.

We walked to the canteen area "what if the commandos get angry, they are probably going for the practice after this and we still didn't finish preparing the field" same said, I glared at him before I said "so what huh, aren't we human beings, don't we get hungry huh, if such powerful commandos like them get hungry, can't weak soldiers like us get hungry" jake chuckled around what I said "calm down A" kelvin said.

"am trying to be as calm as I can" I replied, we walked into the extremely large canteen, All the commandos where eating at their usual tables with their tropes, we walked to the counter, took our plates before we walked to the chefs, I handed them my plate and the chef said "no food for you for today" I raised an eyebrow "what do you Mean" I asked shortly.

The chef was quiet for a while before he said " that's what commando Cecily ordered lieutenant" my face turned into a frown " and why is that" jessie asked "I don't know" the chef replied shortly "you don't know the reason and you agreed not to give us food" I literally shouted, the place was crowded so the commandos and their tropes mustn't have heard me.

"am sorry lieutenant but I have to obey orders, and I don't dare to question a commando" the chef said, I was about to speak when kelvin placed a hand on my shoulder "is okay A" he said, I turned and looked at him "no it's not kel, you guys are hungry, we are hungry, she can't just ask the chefs not to serve us" I said angrily.

"We can't do anything about it A so let's just go and buy something to eat in town" Jessie said.

"I will not leave here until I get and explanation of why we aren't getting lunch" I said with my voice cracking, "who will give you an explanation huh? You cant just walk to Cecily and ask for an explanation A, she is a commando while you are just a lieutenant, you can't question a commandos order" Jake said.

"who said I can't question her" I asked, they all looked at me surprised before Jake said "you know the punishment of going against a commandos order or questioning it right?" "of course I do, but I don't give a damn, among all the commandos and their tropes we are the one who have been working since morning, we don't even get enough sleep because of how early we always wake up just to serve them" I replied.

"A this isn't the first time a commando told the chefs not to serve us food, so why are you so angry, you should be used to its" sam said calmly.

"I know Sam but am tired, they can send us on errands but stopping us from getting lunch without a concrete reason is unacceptable" I replied "what are you gonna do now?" Jake questioned "am going to ask her why she ordered that" I replied like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

Am scared okay, am scared of walking up to a commando and questioning her, especially commando cecily literally everyone in the military respects her, nobody goes up against her, and here I am the leader of the weaklings trying to go against her.

"get going then" Jake said, I looked at him surprisingly, I didn't thought he will ask me to go, I thought he will try to stop me, I looked at Jessie waiting for him to try and stop me "go A" Jessie said like it was the most easiest thing on earth, "yeah you should go and fight for your team lieutenant" Sam said as kelvin nodded in agreement, I swallowed a lump that I didn't realized has formed in my throat.

I can't tell them I can't do it, they are already so disappointed in me, I can't add to that disappointment, I looked at them before I nodded "Hmm finally you guys are supporting me" I said, before I turned and started walking to the direction of the table of Cecily and her trope, "you can do it A" Jessie and Jake shouted in unison.

What they don't know is that with every step I take it my heart beat is increasing, am close to her table and by know my heart is about to throb out of my chest.

I stopped in front of the table and everyone seated in table turned their attention to me except Commando Cecily, their where all looking at me questionably, I know she knows I am here she is just ignoring my existence, "what are you doing her?" one of the soldiers asks, I took in a deep breath, no Matter what happens I can't let them know am scared, I cleared my throat "have some respect soldier don't forget am a lieutenant" I said in a perfect demure.

To my surprise they all boosted out laughing, I raised an eyebrow "what's so funny huh" I questioned angrily, but their were still laughing making the entire people in the canteen to turn their attention to us.

I was about to speak again when commando Cecily hit the table loudly with her hand, making all of them to stop laughing, I was expecting her to talk but she just quietly continued eating, I was uncomfortable due to all the attention on us, I sighed in defeat before I turned about to walk back to my team but when I turned I saw my team members looking at me with hope in their eyes, they are hoping I can fight for our right, while here I am about to let them down.

I inhale and exhale before I turned back and faced the commando, I don't care what will happen to me but one thing is for sure, I won't let my team members down again.

"what's your reason for asking the chefs not to serve us food today Commando Cecily" I questioned, the moment I finished saying that some one choked on whatever he was drinking, I didn't care to turn and look at the person, I just continued looking at the commando some of soldiers in the table were looking at me with wide eyes while some had their jaws dropped.

Commando Cecily looked up at me, with cold eyes, from her expression she was surprised, Shocked and angry, but I will emphasize on the angry part, she is angry extremely angry, she wasn't even making an effort to hide how angry she is, but I mean why will she is not like she is afraid of me or something.

"what did you say" her right hand man questioned "I don't think I have to repeat myself" I replied by know the entire canteen was quiet like some Desert, but even a desert they will have been some sound of air passing by, but they was non her, so even air is afraid while her I am trying to show bravely, some of the soldiers were looking at me like I am out of NY mind.

"Are you drunk" one of the soldiers asked, I glared at him before I turned and continued looking at commando Cecily, even though I was looking at her, I was trying as much as I can to avoid direct eye contact with her.

She then stood up angrily, I swear the moment she stood up I wanted to turn and run out of the canteen, out of the military camp, out of the kingdom, but my foot were heavy I couldn't Even move them as if they have been clued to the ground.

Suddenly a hand was choking my neck, I was so lost in thought that I didn't realize commando Cecily had already walked up to me, and she is strangling me by the throat, her nails where digging into my neck as she slowly raised me from the ground, I could feel my foot that where once heavy leaving the ground now. Traitors.

"who do you think you are to question Me" she shouted angrily, I was just looking at her dumbly, I couldn't say anything, I could feel the life in me drain, "Am asking you a question" she shouted again, I swear she isn't woman it must be a man dressed like a woman, I mean how can a woman have this kind of power, she is raising me up by the neck with just one hand.

And she doesn't even look like she is feeling anything, my head was becoming heavy, my vision was becoming blurring, is this the end of me, am I really dying, I closed my eyes waiting for my final breath when a voice shouted "The general is outside, he is calling everyone he has a message From the king" the moment the voice concluded I opened my eyes, "a message from the king, I wonder what it is.

Commando Cecily suddenly released me making me fall to my knees, I started coughing loudly, my team members rushed to me before Sam handed me a cup of water, everyone in the canteen turned and started walking out of the canteen probably to go and hear why the general is here, if it was any other situation I would have claimed I was sick and not go but he is here to deliver a message from the king so I have to go.

I quickly gobbled down the cup of water "are you okay" Jake questioned, I was about to reply but I was cut off by jessie "we are so sorry A if we stopped you from going all this wouldn't have happened" kelvin was about to speak but I cut him off "apologize later, for now let's go and hear why the general is here" I said, they all looked at me questionably but I just quickly stood up and walked out of the canteen.

It was Crowded outside, the commandos and their soldiers where all over the place, I couldn't even see the general, I have to see him, I have to hear the kings message clearly, since the time I have joined the military I have always avoided the general and usually hide whenever he comes but now here I am trying to find a way to see him, I sighed heavily before I ran and started pushing through the soldiers "excuse me" "excuse me" I just kept on repeating the word excuse me, I could hear some soldiers curse as I pushed through them, but I just ignored them.

The commandos are the ones in front so even I as a lieutenant should stand in front right, I was able to push my self to the front and I can now see the general, I didn't know I was standing close to commando Reginald until I heard that voice of his, the melody to my ears "can you move a little, you are blocking my view lieutenant" commando Reginald said, the moment he concluded I froze, I couldn't move, I could feel tension through out my body "Lieutenant" he called again, and that snapped me out of my thoughts, I turned immediately and said "I sincerely apologize commando" he nodded in response before I moved and stand close to him, I could see commando Cecily glaring at me from the corner but I didn't even spare her a glance, I was just looking at the General waiting for him to begin speaking.

The general cleared his throat before he began "Some soldiers from Ravenna have started attacking the Eldoria, their have attacked Ravenwood and even killed some of our soldiers, from Shadow wolves under Commando Frederick" he said.

Woah this seems to be a huge matter, it probably concerns war, maybe I should get out of here, its not like me and my team members will be needed anyway, and thr soldiers that where killed are under commando Frederick so he will probably ask to be the one to handle the matter, I glanced at commando Frederick and it was quite obvious how angry he was, I chuckled before I turned and continued facing the commando.

"They have sent a message to the king from the king of Ravenna "Godric lethwyn" that his highness king Alaric valenor, should surrender Eldoria to him, if not he will attack the kingdom and take over it, but as you know our king Is a very peaceful person so he wants some soldiers to go to Ravenwood and deliver a message to the commando there that he will like to speak to the king of Ravenna" the general said.

"we should just go and wipe them out" Commando Frederick said angrily "war isn't an option, that was the kings word" the general said, I should probably get out of here, cause obviously this isn't small matter, I was about to walk back quietly when a voice said "where are you going" I looked up before I smiled at commando Reginald, "I was trying to get more comfortable commando" I replied, he nodded in response before he turned and continued facing the general.

I sighed hopelessly before I also turned my attention to the general "why do we have to be the one to deliver the message when a messenger can do that" Commando Ricco asked The general was quiet for a while before he said "since the soldiers of Ravenna have the guts to attack and even take over Ravenwood, they will probably kill an ordinary messenger, that's why I want some powerful soldiers to go" the general explained.

Everyone was nodding in understanding so I also started nodding, if I don't there will understand I am not following "so who are going to deliver the message?" commando Maximilian questioned "any team can go except for shadow wolves" the general said.

"with all due respect general, why can't we go" Commando Frederick questioned, "I don't think I have to explain my reasons to you" general Arthur replied, the reason its quite obvious actually so why is Commando Frederick asking, he is smart so obviously he knows the reason, I shook my head in disappointment even I the dumbest one among all of them know the reason talk less of him, of course the general won't allow him to go, since the soldiers killed where from his trope, the general knows he will probably wipe out the soldiers of Ravenna as he said.

"Me and my tropes will like to go general" commando Reginald said, I looked up at him, he is very tall, before I can see his face I have to look up, of course he did offer to go, I mean literally all the commandos will offer to go "I will also volunteer to go general" commando williams from ghost ravens said.

I turned and looked at him before I shake my head in pity, why the hell will I volunteer to go, I love my life and will obviously like to leave for a few more years, not few I will like to leave for millions of years if it is possible, as I was shaking my head, I heard that annoying voice of Commando cecily "I don't think the issue is this serious for commandos and their entire tropes to go" she said earning everyone's attention.

"Who do you suggest should go then Cecily" the general asked, I was looking at her with wide eyes, is unbelievable she didn't volunteer to go, " I think a lieutenant and some few soldiers will be able to handle it" she said with a smirk, I was nodding in agreement until I realized I was the only lieutenant in the military, so that's why she is smirking she is trying to get Me and my soldiers killed, I immediately turned and looked at the general and he was nodding in agreement.

I felt a lump form in my throat "but there is only one lieutenant and she is a young lady, I don't think she can handle it" the general said making me release a breath I didn't know I was holding, "yes general but that's even more of a reason she should go, every one in the military thinks she is weak but I know she isn't so this is her chance to show them she is strong" commando Cecily said, to say am surprised is an understatement, I couldn't believe my ears, this lady will truly say anything to get me to deliver that message.

I turned and face the general and I was met with his eyes he was looking at me with that soft look he always had whenever he was talking to me, from his eyes I could see he was worried, he knows I can't do it but he can't tell them if not they will suspect something, I could felt tears in my eyes, I don't want him to be worried so I forced a smile, I was smiling to assure him it was okay, I wanted to make him believe something even I couldn't make myself to believe, I was trying to make him believe I can do it, " she can go then but I think you should go with her" the general said "no need" I replied immediately, going with commando Cecily is liking walking to dead itself cause if the soldiers of Ravenna doesn't kill me,she will probably kill me and said they did it.

"I can go on my own with my soldiers" I added, the general was quiet for a while before je nodded in agreement, he turn and collect a paper "come and collect the message then" the general said, at first I hesitated before I walked slowly, I was about to bow down and collect the message as I should when he shouted "don't" I looked up at him before he noticed all eyes where on him, he then cleared his throat "you sure you and your team alone can handle this lieutenant" he questioned as calm as he could, I looked up at him "we can general" I answered, he nodded in response before I bowed down and he handled me the message.

I stood up before he placed a hand on my shoulder "becareful" he said merely a whisper, I nodded and gave him a reasurring smile before I turned and looked at my team members "lets set off soldiers" I said before I glanced at commando Reginald, he wasn't looking at me his attention seemed to be on something else's even thou he was looking at my direction, my team members walked up to me before we turned and walked to the stables.

"Were are the extra horses we can use" Jessie asked, "it's probably in the back" sam replied before we walked to the back, the thing is all the commandos and some of the top soldiers in their tropes have their horses, but In my team, even I don't have a horse, we just walk by foot, I could have taken it a big deal, and spoke to the general and certainly I will get one but I didn't, I am not so good at riding horses so I enjoyed walking on leg more.

"can you ride a horse A" Jake asked with concern filled in his voice, I looked at him before I chuckled "of course I can, have you forgotten am a lieutenant" I answered, "a lieutenant which came into the military 6 months ago, and nobody knows where she came from, or where she had her military training" he replied sarcastically.

I glared at him before I sighed in defeat "I can but am not so good at it" I spatted out, Kelvin boosted out laughing before he noticed we were all glaring at him, he then cleared his throat before he looked at me "well let's leave the palace with everyone on his horse once we out the gate, you can stay on my horse" he suggested, I nod in agreement.

We walked to the horses, and the first one that caught my eye was a white one, the horse was white in color but his hair was black, I don't really know if it's a he or a she, but I decided to take it as a he since almost all the horses here are male, "I like this one" I pointed at the horse.

Jake looked at me " well that one is a rare breed, even though no one use it I heard commando Cecily said she liked it, and will probably take it for a run someday" jake said .

I smirked, I don't know why but for some reason I found this interesting, "well I like it even more now" I replied before I went and started patting the horse head, I think he likes it cause he was still, I smiled before, I asked sam to place it's paddle...

We all rode our horses before we walked out of the stables, as we pass the commandos and their tropes I could see commando Cecily glaring at me, but she probably won't say anything since the general was there, and that made me smile in victory, I could see the general looking at me but I ignored him.

By know the commandos have started noticing that we seem close, and I don't want them to suspect we know each other so I better keep my distance, we walked out of the military camp, and headed for the palace gates, the commoners were looking at us weirdly, probably because they have never seen us before, cause we usually walked on foot with the rest of the soldiers.

As we reached the palace gate, I sprinted off in a run, and am sure as hell all my team members are surprised, even though am not good at riding horses, I felt I could trust this horse for some reason I believe he won't send me flying off him.
