Adrian POV

I looked at the message that was just emailed to me few seconds ago by my father

I'm going on an important trip to Russia, you can have whatever party of your choice, just round if off quickly and go back, they're important documents and other things... You need to see and go through.

Celebrate your birthday in peace, don't cause a scandal.

I scoffed closing the message and throwing the phone on the couch, I'm not surprised, it's not like I was expecting a heartfelt birthday message or anything, Dad will never offer anything of that nature, at least he did not forget it entirely this time around. I sighed Looking around the luxurious suit I was currently sitting on, the hotel belonged to my dad, but it's registered under my name which technically makes it mine.

Dad doesn't care much outside of his company and building his empire, so event like this no longer surprised me, ever since Mom died we never celebrated anything again as a family and I have to terms with it, one thing good about my dad is ...Money, he has plenty of it, and still goes to make more, I pretty much lived in luxury since I was born, anything material I wanted or ever desired, I got it without any kind of stress, and now I want an extravagant birthday party..

And I'm going to get it, after all he did say to have any party of my choice, since he has Soo much money, I might as well spend it lavishly.

I picked up the phone to call Mikeh, my friend and also kind of, our event planner

"Hey Mikeh, prepare for my birthday party this evening...do it on a yatch" I said

"Really Adrian, on a yatch??" Mikeh gruff voice resounded in my phone making me shift the phone from my ear in disgust

"What the hell Mikeh, why is your voice disgusting"

I shouted at him, Mikeh is just older than me with just 3 years but acts like a 40 year old man, he takes health supplements all the time and testing new drugs claiming his keeping his himself healthy, I'm sure his gruff voice is as a result of the side effects of testing new drugs.

"My voice is fine Adrian, I took medicine" Mikeh said coughing, as if that will clear it

"You should become a lab rat at this point, don't you think??" I said

"Shut up, and leave my voice alone and tell me why the hell you want to have a birthday party on a yatch"

"Why not, it's not like I can't afford it, " I said, listening to hear Mikeh sigh as he stood up shuffling around his house

"What happened to average parties Adrian??"

" Why should I do average parties, when I can spend extravagantly, I'm trying to put my father's money to use, do you have a problem with that Mikeh??" I asked him, he did not reply, seeming to be downing a cup of water.

"I don't have a problem with you spending, the money is yours, but it'll be much nicer if you put half the effort you put in partying into working in the company"

"Are you insinuating that I should earn my keep, huh??"

"That is not what I'm saying.." Mikeh started, but I cut him off

"I'm not nice, I'm not going to act nice, prepare everything I need and invite the company, it's weekend anyway"

Mikeh who already sound tired just said "Alright... No problem I will prepare everything, don't yell, I can't hear properly "

I scoffed, he can't hear because of his stupid supplements, not my yelling

"And I want you to be there, who knows the wine will loosen up your stuck up voice"

"Shut up Adrian" he said, I could hear the irritation in his voice, after some silence he muttered

"I will be there, as long as you behave" I just scoffed at his words, I'll do what I want to do

I smirked as I looked around my sorrounding, loud music, drinks, wine , people dancing, grinding , making out, and most important of all women, now this is my kind of scene, though the party has not fully started as the man of the day is yet to arrive and thst is me, Elijah's eyes landed on me and smiled, Elijah is my extremly noisy friend, he is british, blonde with creepy gold eyes, his eyes are beautiful but I'll never tell him that .

"Hey everyone , looks like the birthday boy has arrived, and party is just getting started!!"

Elijah yelled on top of his voice bringing all the attention to me, some of my friends that hasn't noticed my presence, shouting and standing up to meet me, girls swooning over my arrival, staring at me with an all too familiar look, I smirked, this is it, I liked the attention, it gave me a thrill I am always looking for, I bask in the praises, I live for it, my whole life has been made up of it anyway, I'm pretty much used to it, but I don't get sick of it especially when an extremely hot girl is looking at me over the corner giving me the green light...just like I thought..

"Woah, hold it there, I know where you are going, but I think you need to cut that giant cake over there, otherwise that guy over there will be very mad" Elijah who is already by my side with his hand slinged on my shoulder said pointing to Mikeh who is holding a large cake with an annoyed expression on his face, I smiled walking towards him " Hey Mikeh, you're here, you even made a cake for me, I'm so touched " I said coming over to where he is standing still glaring at me, his eyes squinting.

"here's your cake, is this the ideal party, you had in mind??" Mikeh asked pushing the cake to me , with my friends sorrounding me looking the cake.

"It's not bad, I can't say it's good either, you could have brought the newest one," Mikeh scoffed

"The one that has not even been launched??"

"Yes, that one" I said to irritate him further , but he just breathed in, Mikeh knows how to keep hos cool, I'v never seen this guy get angry, maybe its because of those stupid supplements

" No can do, cut your cake before I drop it" Mikeh said keeping a straight face, before I could retort something witty, Elijah took the knife and handed it to men, urging me to cut the cake with him standing close to me, as well as my other friends, after the cake was cut Eli quickly grabbed it handing it to someone beside me before dragging me out of the crowd

"Wait Eli, I didn't even taste the cake , that's not how it's done" I said to Eli making him stop abruptly, suddenly realizing

"Ooh, is that so? I totally forgot" He said scratching his head, before going back to grab the knife and cut a little part of the cake offering it to me immediately.

" Eli what's the hurry, do you have something important to show me" , I looked at him and he smirked

" Come on, what do you think it is??" He asked raising his brows

"I don't know "I said shrugging, not really curious, Eli never has something new

" Chelsea is here" he whispered to me but I just chuckled

"I already slept with her, don't bother" Eli looked at me his eyes wide with surprise

" Why, didn't you know, I thought I told you, I had fun with her last summer, I have other plans this time"

"Wow, I guess I underestimated you" Eli said, I dragged him close, bringing his attention to the hot brunette at the bar

"And that... Is my other plans, this time around" I said proudly, but Eli stopped to look at me then sniff me again

"Did you change your cologne, you smell different, or... better" Eli said and continued to sniff me

I sighed, did I mention that Eli has boundary issues

"Stop sniffing me you creep, I didn't change shit" Eli had a look that said he is still not convinced but decided to drop it, he probably has plans to bring it up later on, deciding to feed me the cake now, which I took smiling making him smile too, Elijah is pretty much my best friend, of all the friends I have he is the closest, which is very weird because I hate people who don't know when not to cross then line and I hate it when people touch my things, but apparently Eli ways does that without a care in the world but nevertheless he still knows and respect it when I draw the line, I watched him as he grabbed a handful of cake to stuff his mouth, uding it immediately to kiss a random girl passing by , earning a loud cheer from our friends making him smirk and continue his way to get drinks, I had already gotten my own drink as I headed to the girl I had my eye on since I got here, she was already smiling in my direction looking at me, I'm not suprised tho, it happens all the time ... It's going to be a fun night.

ADRAIN POV

I walked inside the company my hands inside my pocket with my sister and Mikeh behind me walking towards the elevator, everyone stepped out of the way while greeting us professionally, I looked around the company , each directories with their own team working together without slacking off, that is the legacy my dad made in his company, everyone is working the girls sneaking glances at me making me wink at a group of girls giggling at the coffee table, making them swoon, I smirked, I'm handsome and I know it, Eli always said that I am a narcissist, I can't deny it any longer, I loved my self too much to notice another person.

"Stop that" Adeline said walking ahead of me into my office

"Stop what Adeline" I said acting dumb

" Whatever you're doing, office romance or flirting is prohibited in this company" Adeline said like I was stupid for not knowing the rules. " Yeah and who made those rules huh" I asked raising my brows at her

" Doesn't matter, it was kept there for a reason, rules are meant to be obeyed" She said, my sister can be dramatic sometimes

" And if I break the rules, am I going to be fired or something by dad" I said now laughing as I turned to look at Adeline who is at my desk looking at with an unamused expression.

" That's enough Adrain, Adeline is right, you have to set an example for your employees by not getting involved with any of them"

" Yes Dad I'll make sure not to engage in any indecent activities with my employees " I said sarcastically, earning a glare from Mikeh.

"These files here needs your signature on it, don't just sign it, go through it and check your emails, the details of the meeting by 1:00 will be sent to you, be there Adrain and on time too"

Adeline said turning to leave with Mikeh behind her , that idiot is always behind her, supporting her every decision, he is like our family assistant not just father's personal assistant, sometimes he is a pain in the ass really.

I sighed and started flipping through the pages, not even having the patience to read through it and just signing it, I don't really put much effort into the company work like Adeline does, even though that is what father really wants, sometimes I deliberately leave important work I'm supposed to do, he can always send people to clean up after me, even the party yesterday, I don't even have to try not to cause a scandal, everything that happened in that yatch is already covered from the media, that is what Mikeh is there for anyway.

I checked my phone quickly replying to the emails, I have been sitting here for hours signing shit and replying this emails, I have already read through the whole file and stacked it up.

I just need to check the details of that meeting so I can finally rest, my back is already hurting and I need to go and eat, I'm so hungry.

The meeting is supposed to explain how the new product is supposed to work in the market, its a new car model, being launched into the market, our company is at the top of the business chain, so everyone is already expectant on the car hitting the market.

Whatever I need to go and eat before that damn meeting starts, I stood up to go and get something when a knock sounded at my door and opened

"Sir your meeting is in 5 mins, " Eric said , he is my personal assistant, takes car of most of my work, since I'm not mostly around.

"What!! Already" I exclaimed, feeling frustration clawing at my growling stomach

"Yes sir" he said curtly, he was never someone to say too much, just saying what is absolutely necessary.

" Eric, I think I'm going to eat, I'll meet them later okay"

" Sir the board is already seated, they're all waiting for you, I think you should attend the meeting, since the investors are coming too, and everyone is really enthusiastic about this launching "

He said looking as me with his brown eyes holding me captive, like he is judging me, this piece of shit doesn't say anything but can manipulate you just with is eyes that is barely even seen.

His ginger hair almost covering his face, who keeps such long hair these days.

"Fine, I'm coming, stop staring at me like that"

"Okay Sir" he said still keeping a straight face. I sighed I can't believe this, I took my suit jacket and dressed up, adjusting my tie and straightened my hair, my hair is a dirty blonde just like my sister, looking at the length of it, I don't have any right to judge Eric's long hair, I'll be needing a haircut very soon.

I walked inside the conference room to find everyone already seated, it was a full room, one side of the long table is the board of directors and the the other was the investors, my sister was sitting beside the chair left open for me with Mikeh sitting at the opposite side, with Eric walking behind me I walked to the seat and sat down, after they acknowledged my presence, the meeting started.

Eric passed me the meeting schedule and documents, the PR team is supposed to present us the whole details of the new car and it's latest model. I nodded as I ordered for the presentation to start, the faster I leave this place the better, I don't have to panic because the investors are here because I trust my father's employees are top notch. I relaxed back as the light in the room dimmed to show the light projected at the white board revealing the new car.

ADRIAN POV

I woke up with a startle, groaning as I tried to sit up but is met by a mind numbing pain in my head, what the hell!! I try to stand but I feel someone move beside me, I turned around to see a naked body sleeping beside me, I looked down to see...yeah I'm naked too, why is my head banging, I can't even think straight with this kind of headache, the person beside me turned again making my irritation worsen as l looked down at her, it looks like she's awake why isn't she leaving

"Ughm.. Hi," I grabbed my hair more irritation now visible in my face at her attempt to start a conversation, she was supposed to leave even before I woke up

"Get out!!" I said trying not to snap and become more angry, she was clearly startled as she tried to find words .. "now!!" I interrupted her pathetic attempt to protest, she was livid as she stood up immediately, scrambling around to take her things, while crying silently, which just annoyed me further, she is increasing my headache by still standing in the room gathering her things, after she left finally I could breathe but.the headache hasn't reduced, if possible it became worse than before. "Ugh..." I groaned trying to stand, how much did I even had to drink last night

"Really... You asking that now??" I looked up to see Adeline standing at the door of the room, her hands on her waist looking at me with an indescribable expression

"Did you attend my birthday party Adeline??" I asked genuinely curious, I can't remember much of what happened last night, and I doubt, she would have stayed till the end, she doesn't like partying like I do, she is just obsessed with work and nothing else.

" Why don't you try to remember, Adrain, it was your party last night right ??, shouldn't you keep track of people invited and people that came on your own birthday party " Adeline said looking at me like I was stupid

" Are you serious, what kind of person keeps track of people in their birthday parties" I yelled partly frustrated that my sister is already here this morning to pester me and increase my headache

" Well I do, everyone does, when there's a business party or get together, you keep track of people present, to keep records of important people on your side and with the same business mindset as you , isn't that what parties are meant for??" She asked looking at me , I sighed, my headache has not even subsided, and she's here to nag me this early morning.

"Did you even get me a birthday gift, I don't think you came to party either... It's your birthday too right, don't tell me you were in the office, trying to finish off one stupid work or the other??" I asked now looking at her, we are twins, identical twins even, but the both of us is so different

"Well I did have some reports I needed to go through before heading to your extravagant birthday party, but then you will probably not remember since you were taking tequila shots on Alistair s chest ..."

Ugh....

Flashback

Take the shot!! Take the shot!! Take the shot!!, I looked at my friends that Is continuously chanting my name to take the tenth shot of the drink on our table, we, since I entered into this truth or dare, I might as well do it since I don't want any razor on my hair either, So I continued to drink the lined up alcohol on the table making them yell even further making me smirk, my head was a bit fuzzy now , " so this is the ideal party you had in mind??"

I looked up to find my sister glaring at me, I smirked and yelled" hey everyone, my twin sister is here and I'm going to give her a show!!" Inciting more shouting as everyone turned to her

I took the last drink on the table Walked to Chelsea that was standing beside me the whole time, I haven't spoken or given her any attention, I might as well do it now.

I grabbed Chelsea by the waist, lighting the drink to pour it slowly from the side of her neck ,. making it run down her collar bone and chest, and I drank it from her chest while looking at my sister enjoying her priceless expression... She looks horrified as she looked at me with disgust making me laugh, I enjoyed getting a reaction from her that isn't about work. But she clearly didn't share in my sense of humour, because she walked to me in the next second and downed my clothes with the remaining drinks on the other table, making my friends laugh even more.

" I did had a birthday present for you last night, but you were too busy to see it anyway" Adeline . said as a matter of fact,

"Really, you did?? where is it " I asked suddenly curious, my twin sister is so cold, she hardly cares about any other thing except work, and she doesn't give gift easily, but when she decides to do so, it's always worth the wait.

But she just shrugged " I don't know Adrain, depends on how busy you are"

I immediately stood up to show her I wasn't busy at all, I needed whatever she is about to offer

"I mean you will be busy from now anyway, come to the company, there are work yo take care of" Adeline said turning to me

"What!! the company " I yelled my headache intensifying making me let go of the blanket to hold my her eyes trailed down my body making her scream in horror... " Put on some clothes you piece of shit" I look down to see I wasn't wearing anything, ooh I forgot about that.

When I don't make any move to do so just holding my head, she picked a clothe lying around and threw it at my face " wear this this and come out " she yelled again leaving the room

"Aissh, why are you like this Adeline, and stop yelling I'll come down okay " I said lacking the strength to shout anymore, I need to get a hangover cure or something.

I quickly dressed up and left the room to meet her downstairs, this villa belongs to my dad, and I often find myself here, when I just want to chill, it was the closest to the party venue so I decided to come here after the party.

I walked to the living room to find Adeline seated at the couch her face engrossed on the work in her laptop, she was typing furiously not bothering to look up or acknowledge my presence .

" They're mails you're supposed to reply by now Adrain, sign some documents and meet with the board today, so prepare" She said

"Why Adeline, why are there so much work for me to do, why am I meeting the board of directors today, is that not the part that my dad usually took care of" I said feeling an impending headache coming

" Well dad is not around, you need to discuss the new product with the board and sign for it's approval to hit the market or do I need to explain more to you, would you rather I meet the board and sign it" Adeline said noe agitated and looking up from her laptop.

" Fine, stop I'll go but not now, I have a terrible headache, I can't go to the office now, I think I'm going to faint, hey Adeline don't you..." I was cut off by an all too familiar voice

"Don't worry about that.. I already made a hangover soup for you, it's very effective"

"Mikeh?? What the hell are you doing here" I said looking at Mikeh that I didn't notice before, he was standing behind the counter in the kitchen stirring some kind of food peacefully without making a sound.

"Doesn't matter, I made a porridge to cure your hangover, I also bought some pills to relieve your headache, come over and eat so that we can all head to the office" he said turning off the gas cooker, then dishing out the food before serving it then looking at me expectantly, I looked at him as he did everything delicately before cleaning his hands with a towel

"Mikeh, are you practicing to be a good housewife, you are even wearing an apron" I said sitting down to eat, but he just ignored me and proceeded to go and sit beside Adeline to help her out.

I sighed, seeing as Mikeh even offered to help me cure my hangover, there is indeed a lot of work to do at the office, I have to take care of , thinking about it is already giving me another headache.
