QUEEN GODDESS

It's funny how my parents think iam wierd and funny because of my preferences .I mean ,who does that? Anyway I should introduce myself first before anything else.So,my name is Brianna Anderson and I am William and Margaret Anderson's only child.Yeah,that's right. I don't have any siblings.I was brought up in a very simple and humble home.Our place isn't that big and we don't have neighbors .our house backyard is filled with beautiful flowers and a vast greenfield.

Oh I almost forgot to tell you our home is also surrounded by a very large thick forest known as the Aramad forest.wierd name right? Thought so aswell but it doesn't matter.This year iam sixteen years old I still wonder why I am supposed to add the word " old" when am not that old .Yeah I know u must be saying " what is wrong with her .?" But chill don't blame me I don't have anything much to do here and besides your in my thoughts as in my pov .

I am not that tall am just 510cm but I am cute with my long silky blonde hair that reaches my lower butt and I have pinkish plump lips with big round grey eyes that make me stand out due to my pale white smooth skin.and weirdly enough I don't resemble my parents at all.

"Brianna!,Brianna!, earth to you." Mom said while snapping a finger Infront of my face bringing me back to reality as I blinked my eyes repeatedly.

"Oh sorry mother i spaced out I said as I stood up and from the hard rock I was seated on.we were outside trimming flowers with mom and dad had gone to his usual work and he comes back in the evening.what does he do? We dont know.

All we know is that he goes in the morning and comes back at night Soo that's all.

I stood up , yawned and stretched as i massaged my sore butt which has been on the hard rock for a long time.when I was done with my not so ladylike actions as my mom calls them I looked up ahead at the forest.

" Mother ,why aren't we allowed ..no scratch that aren't I allowed to enter the forest I feel bored being in one place for a longtime.i want to also got out and make some friends aswell.

Mom looked up at me and sighed before saying.

"Brianna,I know you are bored here and want to go out but it's for your own safety please .I can be your friend aswell."

" I know mom but... Let's just go back in am feeling cold out here and dad is about to come back."I said trying hard to hide my disappointment but failed as my mom saw me and gave me a sad look .

AUTHOR'S POV

Both Brianna and her mother walked back to their house side by side but before Brianna entered she silently took one last glance at the forest .each time she looked there she felt drawn to it like something out there was waiting for her and she herself knew she didn't belong here .she wanted to venture but deep down she knew once she did things would change for her wether in a bad way or not she didn't know .

Will she venture or not ? Only time will tell.

AVALAD CAVE

"What shall we do now high priestess if we don't find the queen first and the fairies find her first ."Rudren a wizard and one of the members of the coven asked their leader.Their coven was consisting of thirteen members including their leader the high priestess with a total of ten wizards and the rest being witches.

"Don't worry Rudren,we will soon find her because am sure right now she will be turning seventeen soon and when she does the veil shielding her will weaken ."said Adiira the high priestess.

Unbeknownst to them as they both made plans they were being watched through a revealing spell.

"So,they also don't know where she is ?" The leader of the fairies Zerone asked the old lady who sat at the front of the room as her white long hair cascaded down the sides of her arms.Her eyes changed from completely white back to her normal human eyes .she was known as the WHITE WITCH.

"The Goddess Queen must be found as soon as possible for she is our only hope .I am growing weak and my time on earth is about to end .The immortal is growing out of control .we can't hold him without the queen ." The white witch said.

Zerone nodded his head thoughtfully and looked at the woman seated who he thought of as a mother .She had visibly grown thin from the last time they met .Back then the world was peaceful

The fairies lived in harmony with the witches and humans until the earth cracked and demons evaded the earth .Since then the fairies fought together with the witches to suppress the demons and send them back to where they came from .some witches whoever were against it as they said the demons hadn't caused them any harm and should be considered peacefully .

This brought a conflict between the witches as some witches joined hands with the demons and were cast out and turned to dark witches who practice dark magic known as necromancy.

On seeing this, the white witches joined hands with the fairies and made a strong shield that separates them and the dark witches from the human world,but what they didn't know was that in the war between them and the demons and immortal was born.

It so happens that a human had unknowingly ventured into the land of the magical beings,the witches and the fairies but unknowingly through the exchange of powers he was zapped by both the demons and witches powers .

Through this combination of powers he was made an immortal .without knowledge of his new life and no one to guide him and lend him a hand ,he became a wandering soul with no aim as he tried a few times to end his life and failed as he always woke up alive in the end .He turned into a beast .

The more he killed the more powerful he became and soon he made a name for himself as King Damon as he captured humans as slaves and different creatures it was said that if he were to sacrifice the most high being and consume her blood and powers he would be able to cure his curse and also rule over all the supernaturals.

Because one day as he captured humans he got into a fight with a half witch half human who resided among the humans .they fought until king Damon killed the half witch's family .Before the witch herself died she cursed Damon for hunting and captivating humans since he also was once a human.

But he has lived for over a thousand years now and searched every crook and corner of the earth but has failed to find her, the queen Goddess.

" My king calm down you will find her very soon."Adiira the high priestess said trying to calm the furious immortal from breaking down the palace as it shook violently due to his rage .

Ever since Adiira and her friends were cast out of the white witches coven and started manifesting dark magic a prophecy appeared to all the supernaturals as it said .

" PEACE SHALL BE NO MORE.WAR WILL BREAK .AN IMMORTAL SHALL DESTROY THE EARTH AND BRING FORTH DARKNESS UPON ALL.ONLY THE MOST POWERFUL OF THEM ALL SHALL SAVE THE EARTH.

Upon this prophecy Adiira searched for the immortal promising him guidance in exchange for protection but only she knew what she really wanted. And those were the powers of the Goddess herself .

"Don't tell me to calm down because I am running out of patience Adiira." King Damon yelled loudly as his voice boomed in the majestic empty hall as the walls shook more violently before stopping.

Adiira sighed and slowly made her way towards the throne where the king sat as she slowly started removing her clothes one by one "I know what can help you calm down your highness."

Naturally,Adiira always liked the king as he was so handsome infact he was dangerously handsome for her to not fall in love with him even his maids found pleasure in working for him .But the king wouldn't even spare her a glance and felt disgusted whenever she came close to him .

He didn't do love it wasn't his thing ever since he was cursed .When Adiira had stripped to almost nothing ,the king threw her a dirty look and laughed out sarcastically before saying."You disgust me Adiira,I don't need your body to calm down.get me good fresh blood .NOW!"

To say she was hurt by his words was an understatement but she tried her best to hide the hurt she felt and stop the tears from eloping her eyes as she quickly dressed up and bowed slightly and said."I am sorry my lord I got carried away .I will bring your blood right away ."she then turned and left the throne room .

As soon as the high priestess left the king immediately lost it as he started smashing things on the floor without even lifting a hand .He then teleported himself to his room..He sat down at the bottom of his bed and clutched his head with both arms ."Damn it I am losing control ." He said frustratedly .He could feel the darkness sipping through his bones trying to break every bit of sanity he had left. " I have to find her as soon as possible." He said to himself.

Adiira was standing outside his bedroom door with a huge glass of blood and was about to knock when she heard him say those words she smirked evilly and thought ' whoever gets her first will be the winner .'

"No, please don't hurt me ,please.No!."Brianna screamed while sleeping in her bed as beads of sweat flowed down her face and her eyes tightly closed.

She was having a very terrible dream where there was a dark male figure trying to hurt her as she continued to shake her head vigorously saying no .Finally her eyes shot open and she abruptly sat up on her bed with tear striken eyes .she clutched her head as she felt it was about to burst in pain .Her eyes started bleeding aswell as her ears.Her heart ached like it was stubbed by a billion thorns.Just then her parents rushed in with concern etched on their faces.when she tried to touch them her hand went through thin air .she wanted to cry but only more blood came out . She tried to scream but she heard no voice.

Suddenly she she felt someone shake her violently but she couldn't see the person.She heard her name being called by a woman's voice but it was very distant and weak."Brianna!,Brianna!,

*Slap* someone slapped her hard across the cheek and due to the pain she was forced to open her eyes as to which she didn't even know when she had closed them .she looked up and saw her dad's face and on her right she saw her mom both carried the same look of concern.

She tried to sit up on her bed but was too weak to even lift a hand so she silently laid back down with the help of her father as he saw her face covered with sweat .She felt like she had ran a marathon as her body hurt Soo bad.

"Relax,lay down abit."Her mother said worriedly as she got a small face towel and gently wiped her daughters face .

After a few minutes Brianna asked weakly as her voice sounded hoarse but she managed to speak slowly."mother,father,what happened I just had a nightmare but I feel weak and sore and that nightmare felt so real."

Margaret and William both looked at each other knowingly .William then sat down gently on his daughters bed and calmly asked ." What was the dream about dear.?"Bri calmly recounted how the dream was ,after she calmly looked at both of her parents who had shocked expressions on their faces as they looked at each other.

"That explains why I tried to wake you up by shaking you but you wouldn't wake up so I had to slap you inorder to wake you up." Margaret explained." mom, I heard a female voice calling me .it sounded like an elderly woman's voice but it was distant and weak and she sounded like she wanted to tell me something important."

Margaret looked at her husband William as they shared a knowing look again which didn't go unnoticed by Brianna as she spoke up."Why are looking at each other.Do you have something you hiding ?Come to think of it all my life I've never dreamt I didn't think much about it because maybe I dream and forget but now something seems not right somewhere."

"Calm down ,it must have been just a dream and it doesn't mean much we all have them sometimes ,go back to sleep you will be fine okay.Dont worry it's just a bad dream and am sure when u wake up you just forget your dreams that's all dear."William said trying to convince his daughter to go back to bed.

Brianna patiently laid down her head and calmly closed her eyes.

She knew even if she insisted her father was more persistent he wouldn't leave until she complied and slept but she knew sleep wasn't anywhere close .

Margaret and William stayed back for a while to make sure their daughter fell asleep peacefully.

After a while they both left the room and closed the door .While in the living room ,they both sat in utmost silence.Maragaret was the first to break the silence as she said ." What are we going to do now?.sooner or later she will find out." At this,William rubbed his forehead and sighed deeply before saying."honestly Margaret we knew this day would come .no matter how long we hide her the truth will always come out to light and her......"

William didn't get to finish his words as he stood up hastily and walked towards the window .

He looked ahead at the dark forest.

Margaret followed him and stood a few steps away from him and asked.

"Did you feel it too ?"

William didn't look back but calmly replied."Am afraid so .The shield is weakening and soon we won't be able to hide her from them."

Unbeknownst to them Brianna was standing close to her door so she heard everything they had said .she silently made her way back to her bed and laid down as if nothing had happened and soon enough sleep took her with Soo many thoughts and questions in mind.

QUINTAS KINGDOM

*Cough* Cough*.

Mildred, known as the white witch violently coughed out blood as she lay on her bed staining her white sheet with blood.A maid hurriedly stepped forward to help her sit up as she gently placed a glass filled with a green liquid to drink in her hands .

Mildred looked at the glass in her hands and calmly placed it aside eon the table next to her bed and laid back down on her bed weakly.

Just then the door opened revealing a lady almost the same age as Mildred but she was more healthier compared to her .she slowly walked in and closed the door.

She then hurriedly walked in and sat next to Mildred's bed.The maid politely bowed and excused herself and went out leaving the two in the room .

"You're growing weak Mildred and you wont even use the healing potions ,are you trying to speed up your death ? Are you that tired of seeing me ?"

The woman complained as she saw the glass with the green potion on the side of the bed untouched .

Mildred just smiled weakly at her friend.They grew up together, practiced together,laughed together to the point that they became sisters.

They even planned to get married at the same time and give birth but when Mildred was chosen as the white witch she had nothing to do but accept to lead her people.

She then weakly asked."Zuriah how is Zerone ? He hasn't visited me in a while since we last met in the throne room."

Zuriah,Zerone' mother sighed deeply and said.

" You know how my son can be.Ever since he lost his dad in the war with the demons and took over as the new leader of the fairies ,he worries too much.he doesn't give himself space to breathe.Anyway don't worry he will surely come to visit you soon."

Before Mildred could reply she violently coughed out a mouth full of blood.

Zuriah hurriedly stood up and waved her hands in the air .sparks erupted around her hands as her beautiful white wings emerged behind her back.

She then focused the sparks towards Mildred's chest where they slowly settled on top of her before disappearing there.

Her wings disappeared and she sat back down while holding her friend's hand and said.

" How do you feel now,I am sorry I am of no use my magic weakened when I lost my husband."Mildred calmed Zuriah by gently tapping her hand and said" You being here is more than enough for me Zuriah and besides your powers will only elevate my pain for a while but I will soon eventually die when my time comes.i just wish to find the Goddess soon before my time is up.i have tried calling onto her using my powers wherever she is but got no response .I will have to keep trying,but I need you to ask Zerone to come see me when he is free.We can combine our powers and try force way through the veil but we have to be careful no to alert the enemies or it won't end well.."

Zuriah nodded her head thoughtfully as she said."I understand Mildred I will tell him to come but using your powers weakens you more .Will you be able to hold on for long?.".

Mildred smiled weakly at her friend's concerned face and said." Don't worry .y friend am still the white witch don't underestimate my powers and also the veil is weakening and soon enough it will break .we will be able to locate her."

Zuriah smiled sadly at her friend's words but she still had worries for her friend.Seeing her this weak and unhealthy she had a fear of losing the only good friend she had as they had become more then friends .

Brianna sat on her bed lost in the book she was reading .Most of her time she spent it reading the books her father had made a point on bringing back each and everyday.

He made sure to bring back at least two novels everyday seeing that his daughter loved reading them.

And whenever she sat down to read she could read for hours and hours without getting tired.

Ever since the day she heard her parent's conversation she became weary of them but sh knew deep down she should trust them. whatever they were hiding was for her own safety.

She so badly wanted to confront them and ask them to tell her whatever they were hiding from her but she aswell feared what their answers would be.

With Soo many thoughts and questions without answers she decided to drown her self in reading books

They might look like just books with words to anyone but to her they were her get way from life.

Whenever she read she laughed,she cried it was magical to her as she read .

It felt like everything played right infront of her eyes.

You could say her imagination was wild as she laughed out loud even her parents thought her preferences were wierd .

The novels were like her imaginary world.

A world where the impossible is possible .Funny,right?.

"Brianna,am going to the flowers do you wanna come along ?"Margaret yelled from the living room but got no response as Brianna was focused in her book though she did hear someone speaking but she couldn't understand the words as they sounded far and faint.

Margaret then decided to go and check on her daughter and see what she was doing these days she rarely came out of her room or spoke much but she didn't think much about it .it's normal anyway .

*Knock,knock*

Margaret gently knocked on Brianna's,door breaking her out of her thoughts as she looked up and said.

" Come in mom." Margaret opened the door and gently peeked in not fully entering and asked.

"You okay ? You didn't give me a reply."

Brianna slightly furrowed her brows as she didn't know what her mother was talking about ." What reply mom?."Now it was Margaret's turn to furrow her brows and say ."I just asked you if you would like to join me outside in the garden to water the flowers."

Brianna frustratedly slapped her forehead and said ."I am sorry mother I must've heard you but didn't understand what you said as my mind was focused on the book I was reading.sorry I will have to pass for today .This book has got me hooked .send my regards to the flowers for me."

They both giggled and Margaret made her out and behind the house.

After her mother left Brianna quickly went back to reading her book but suddenly she posed and thought."Dad is not around ,mom has gone to the back of the house to tend to the flowers so I am inside the house alone and as far as I know mom won't be coming in any time soon and for dad I don't have to worry he won't come back till evening.How about I do some research of my own .I am certain there must be something I can find....,Oh !right, I can start with their room .Come to think of it they never allow me in there room ."

With this Brianna hastily got up from her bed and walked out of her room without wearing her slippers inorder not make any noise while she slowly peeked through the house's back window and saw her mother busy watering the flowers.

She then slowly and silently closed back the window curtains and moved towards her parent's room .Then ever so slowly she held the door knob and twisted it as she pushed it open and swiftly entered while turning around to close it.

She managed a silent sigh while holding her chest relieved that she wasn't caught yet but silently smiled to herself as well on realizing how she looked.she looked like a burglar and funny enough she was excited.

She felt like a ninja or an assassin on a deadly dark dangerous mission.

Slowly,she lifted her left hand looking for the switch as the room was dark with the windows covered with dark thick curtains but the wall was plain .she frantically started looking for the switch until she found it and with a simple.

*Click*The room was flooded with bright light from the lamp as she turned around to look at the room she froze with what she saw.

Then ever so slowly her eyes narrowed .

FEYGLADE KINGDOM

*Knock, knock*

"Come in" Zerone said as he sat on his bed going through a document. Slowly the doors opened and a maid came in and bowed ."Your majesty the queen requests for your presence in her chambers."

Zerone lowered the document in his hands and said ."Tell her I will be right there"

The maid bowed and said before exiting the room." Yes your majesty."

Zerone stood up and made his way out of his room to the queen's chambers and gently knocked on her door.

"Yes come in ,the queen's voice was heard from the other side of the door.

Zerone gently opened the door and walked in while saying."Mother when did you get back and how is mother mildred?".

Zuriah who was seated on her bed calmly waved her hand and parted on the bed next to her gesturing him to come and sit.

Zerone did as his mother requested and sat patiently waiting for her to reply.

After awhile Zuriah calmly spoke ."I just came back son and for Mildred ,her condition is worsening yet she insisted on still using her powers .And she won't even take the healing potions.

.Zerone, I am really worried about her.".

Zerone sighed deeply and said.."I understand your worry mother .".Both sighed deeply before Zuriah finally said." You should go visit her sometime.she asked me how you were doing.Oh also, before I forget she said she could combine yours and her powers and try and force both of your voices through the veil so you could be able to contact the Goddess wherever she is ."

.Zerone nodded his head thoughtfully before saying." I also tried to tap into the veil but I failed.Maybe we should try what mother Mildred said since the both of us have the power to call into her.".

Zuriah nodded her head and said." You should go there tomorrow the sooner the better."

She then coughed lightly to get her son's attention again once more and hesitantly said.".

Uh...son,..also, you should try getting a queen aswell.Your getting old you need a heir and I also want to be able to carry my grandchildren."

When Zerone heard this,he awkwardly scratched his neck and smiled at his mother as he said politely.".Uhh..mother, ... I think I am still young,and you know I am not really interested in anyone yet and besides we still have this issue to finish."

Zuriah humped and said as she crossed her hands Infront of her chest ."young my foot.You are just trying to dodge getting married ."

Zerone tried coercing his mother again as he said."Mother , you shouldn't worry about me and besides you are still here and the kingdom does have a queen.Even if I don't get married and don't get an heir Orion my second in command can take care of the kingdom were we trained together and he is a good guy."

.Zuriah couldn't believe her son as she shook her head in disbelief."So that has been your plan all along?.You want me to keep doing everything even when I am this old .? Goodness this boy.
