Amber's POV

"Dad, how could you think that I would marry a weak human to settle the debt which you had taken? I am an Alpha daughter for god sake!", Samantha screamed in a harsh tone with her usual continuous tone, and then bashing and smashing sounds came from the study room of the Knight' House.

I shook my head, knowing that I would be called soon to clean up all the mess which she created. By the way, where are my manners! I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Amber Lightwood. I lost my parents when I was two years old, so I don't remember much of them. All I remember is that I have been treated like shit all my life.

Why?

Because I'm a weak Omega, who doesn't have enough courage and power to fight against these cruel people. I don't want to remember that horrible day when I refused to obey Samantha's order once.

"AMBERRRRR...!!", I gasped when I heard my Luna calling my name. I quickly left cooking and ran to where she was. And finally found her in the study room with Alpha and Samantha.

"Yes?", I asked breathlessly.

She turned her head and glared at me. "What Yes?", She screamed. "When you would have heard the sound of bashing and smashing sound then why the hell you didn't come here to clean the mess?"

"I...I was preparing dinner for..."

She slapped me and I gasped, quickly I put my hand on my cheeks, tears building in my eyes.

"Don't you dare talk back to me, you stupid slut.", She snapped. "Now clean the room and make yourself useful.", She screamed at me. Even I wanted to scream at her but I knew I shouldn't if I wanted to stay alive. She was pure evil just like her daughter. Her face was full of wrinkles but still was covered with makeup. I was sure without her makeup she could compete with a hideous beast.

I nodded my head and left the room to bring something to clean the room when I heard their voice again.

"Sam, My Darling. This's what they have asked from your father. And as you know, your father has lost all the money which he had taken from them in gambling. Please think about us, sweety. Where will we go if they will kick us out of our house? We are no Alpha without our pack.", Luna spoked as sweetly as she could. I wouldn't be surprised if anyone would die because of diabetes by her sweet talks.

"So what? Tell them I refused to tie the knot with him.", Samantha screamed and threw some of the stuff n the floor again, and smashed something again.

"Sam, please don't be selfish. You're our only hope.", Alpha pleaded.

"Why don't you do one thing then? Sell that stupid Omega to that human by telling them that she's your other daughter along with me.", Samantha said. I gasped when I realized what she just suggested to them. I was about to enter the study room to clean it but now, I couldn't move my legs from the place where I was.

"Not a bad idea.", I heard Alpha speaking.

No...No...No! They can't use me as a payment for their debts.

'I should run away from here then or I will never get a chance to find our mate.'. I talked to my wolf on which I felt her for a while. She never talks to me or shows her presence until I talk to her about our mate.

"Tsk.Tsk. Tsk! Don't you know eavesdropping is a bad habit?", I gasped and quickly turn my head when I heard Johnathan's voice coming from behind me. He was Samantha's mate and he was equally as evil as she was.

The door suddenly opened when I thought to run away from there. Alpha, Luna, and Samantha looked at me and they had an evil smile on their face.

"So you heard everything?"

"N..No", I muttered and shook my head, and took a step backward. In no time, I started running when Alpha yelled. "John, get her. Don't let her run away."

I screamed when he quickly ran after me and grabbed me. He held my waist tight so I couldn't go anywhere.

"No!!! No!!", I screamed and tried to defend myself, trying to get away from his grip. "Let go of me.", I screamed but damned to this soundproof house. "Let go of me!!"

Before I could have screamed more, I received a tight slap on my face, shutting my scream. Jonathan tightened his grip while I kept fighting back until he dropped me on the floor and started to drag me toward my room.

"Please...Please", I started begging, knowing what he would do with me once we reach my room.

"Shut up! If you want to get bitten by all of us.", Alpha yelled. I shut my mouth, realizing that I didn't have any other choice than to listen to him. I had to do whatever they would get to do everything they planned for me.

"Locke her in the room and make sure that she can't run away until they take her with them.", Alpha ordered Johnathan on which he nodded. Once Alpha left, he carried me roughly to my room and pushed me into my room.

He smirked taking out his belt. I quickly ran toward the corner of the room desperate to get away from him. He was going to hit me again and there was no one to save me as usual.

"Baby,", Samantha held his arms before he could move toward me. "We have to leave her at least in that state where she can walk properly otherwise those humans might get suspicious.", She added.

"Okay, if you so baby", He said, dropping his belt and kissing her in front of me.

I sobbed and slumped down against the wall.

I really wished I would have died with my parents.

Alexander Stone

.

"I have found a bride for you. You and your siblings are going to bring her here tomorrow."

I was shocked would be an understatement when I heard that order from my father. I mean no wonder he always does something which no one could ever think of. But this time he had crossed all his limits.

"But dad...you know I feel nothing for any girl.", I said and that was the truth. No! I was not gay for an unknown reason, I had never felt anything for any girl. My father as well as my siblings tried to hook me up with numerous girls before but it never worked.

It's like I had some kind of problems in my hormones or I had not met the right woman of my life yet.

"I know and this is what I want." My father said, which I raised my eyebrow. "She is the daughter of that bastard Knight."

My blood boiled when I heard his name. He took money from us as a loan but lost it in the gambling. Not only that, he was continuously procrastinating the date whenever it came to settling the debt.

"He loves his daughter a lot. So until he settles the debt which will never happen because that bastard doesn't have a penny, his daughter will be the one who will suffer."

"Okay, I get it but why do I have to marry her for that?"

"We have a name in the society, Xander. I surely don't want it to get ruined by the news that we are keeping Knight's daughter in our house without any relation."

"Okay, as you say, father!"

That night, I gathered the information about Knight's family members. As per the source, there were four members in his house: the old couple, their only daughter, and one maid. And all of them were evil, selfish, and bitch or bastard.

After reading all this, I sighed in relief with the thought that I was not going to spoil the life of any innocent girl.

The next morning, I left for the Knight's House with Marcus and Lily to bring the girl which those Knight were ready to sell. I couldn't help but felt bad for the girl whose life was going to be a living hell. But then, It was not her parent's fault not mine.

When we reached their house, one young girl opened the door which I believe was the girl for whom we are here.

"Hello James!", I greeted James Knight who stood up immediately after seeing me at his doorstep. As I walked in, followed by my siblings, his wife too stood up from her seat. " Please have a seat, I believe my father would have already told you about our arrival.", I said, sitting comfortably on the couch and my sibling grabbed the nearby sit. I pulled my gun from my waist and kept it on the table.

Did I give my proper introduction?

'If not, then please let me introduce myself. You already know about my name. So, long story short, talking about my profession, My family holds a well-known reputation in the society but along with it we also handle the business of our ancestors, i.e. to kill all the supernatural creatures, like vampires, werewolf, witches and many more. But due to the existence of those creatures, we moved to kill humans, who were a threat to our business.'

I stared at my gun in fear.

"I SAID SIT THE FUCK DOWN!", I said angrily. James and his wife quickly sat on the couch opposite me. "Now, you already know why we are visiting you? So ask your daughter to pack her bag and come with us.", I added, looking at that girl who opened the door. It looked like she was going to pee in her clothes because of fear.

James just nodded his head instead of asking his daughter to do what I just said.

"Show me some respect when I am speaking to you and do what I have asked you to do.", I said as I stood and made my way toward that girl.

"Yes, Yes! Mr. Stone.", James said. "Sam, ask Amber to come downstairs as soon as possible.", He added to which that girl nodded immediately left from there.

So, she wasn't the girl for whom we were here.

After waiting for a while, I lifted my eyes to see James's unlucky daughter and for the first time, I felt something which I had never felt before.

Amber's POV

.

"Why did I have this life Mom and dad? Why didn't you take me with you? I miss you.", I sobbed that night to make myself sleep but still my night was cold and sleepless.

"Amber! Amber!!", Luna's loud noise from the other side of the door woke me up instantly. Since the door was unlocked, she slammed the door and walked inside her room, holding a beautiful pink floral dress in her hand. "I would have kicked your ass for sleeping for this long.", She said angrily.

That was the moment I checked the time and my eyes widened in shock that it was already 10 in the morning.

"But never mind, it's good that you had a good sleep, those bags under your eyes would have looked sick.", I was surprised at her behavior. "Come on now, get ready so that I can do your make-up and hide this bruise on your cheek.", I sighed in relief realizing that today she wasn't going to hit me but then the realization hit me like a train that she was doing all this because she wanted to present me as the bait in front of my debt collector.

"Today you're going to call me Mom and your Alpha as your Dad. You have to pretend like our princess and also behave like one.", Luna said on which I nodded my head.

After freshening up, I wore that pink knee-length floral dress. I would have thanked Luna if she would have gifted me this dress on some other occasion. She then dolled me up for debt collector. I couldn't help but feel nervous. I looked at the girl standing in the reflection of the mirror, I could barely recognize her.

"Now you look fine. I will send Sam when they will be here. As much as I know, they are on their way.", Saying this, Luna left the room and made sure to lock it from the outside. I sat on my bed fisting the bedsheet tightly, I felt a tight knot in the pit of my stomach which was making me feel uncomfortable. I didn't want this but this was not in my hand. Along with that, I could feel my wolf getting restless. It looked like she was even nervous because of everything which was going on in my life.

Out of nowhere, I smelt an intoxicating scent, it smelled like mowed grass with a hint of mint. My wolf now began stirring and howling in joy. I couldn't understand the reason behind it. While I was in trace of that scent, one word from my wolf made me stiffen.

"MATE."

Really?

I quickly ran toward the window to check who my mate was, but I didn't find anyone.

'Is it possible that the person who's here to take me with him is my mate?', I asked my wolf but received no response from her.

'Will he love us?', I asked her but again met with nothing but silence.

With every ticking second, I felt my heart race faster. When I heard a slight knock on my door and Sam, Standing at the door, I stood up on my feet to finally walk out of my room. With every step, I was getting scared with the thought that today either my mate will reject me or accept me!! At the same time, I was praying to the moon goddess not to complicate my life by making someone else, my mate. Apart from me, I wanted my future husband to be my mate.

I didn't realize that I was already in the living room until I heard the sound of someone clearing his throat. I followed the voice and looked at the black eyes, who were already looking at me intently.

My wolf kept chanting in my mind and howling in happiness. I wouldn't lie but just his stare was enough to make me feel weak on my knees.

"She's my darling, my princess, Amber.", Alpha's voice brought me back to reality and I quickly averted my eyes and that's when my eyes landed on another man and a girl.

"Then say goodbye to your princess!", I heard his deep voice. ""Then say goodbye to your princess!"

"Okay, Bro. Have fun", His brother said, picking something from the table which I couldn't see as he used the handkerchief to pick it up. And winked at his brother before leaving while the girl with him didn't seem happy at all. But she didn't argue and left from there.

Though I wasn't looking at him I could feel him walking toward me."Come with me, Amber.", Saying this, he held my hand. A wave of spark ran all over my body. I was sure even he would have felt the same but he kept his face blank.

He opened the front door of the car like a gentleman and I hopped in. When he started the engine and the car left the colony, he spoke again and this time he said something because of which my hands and legs started freezing.

"Did those Knights really think that I won't be able to find out that they have sent their maid with me instead of their daughter?", He let out a dangerously chuckle, making my body freeze. "And I can't believe that you are even included in their plan?", He said in a tone mixed with anger and disappointment.

"Now, you're going to receive all the punishment that their daughter was going to receive."

Tears started building in my eyes, realizing that my life was not going to change at all. It was just that I was shifted from one hell to the other.

And it pained a little more with the thought that this time who was planning to make my life hell was my mate.

The person who was born to love me.

I didn't realize I was crying until his rough thumb touched my cheek. My eyes widened in surprise at his unexpected behavior.

"I hate crying babies.", He muttered. Though he sounded rude and concerned at the same time.

The whole ride was silent. I kept my eyes on the road wondering where I was going. I barely had any idea about the city. After half an hour, the car came to its halt and I checked my surroundings, only to realize that he had parked the car in front of the big restaurant.

But why had he brought me here?

My train of thought was broken when he opened the door of the car for me. I carefully came out of it, trying not to slip because of nervousness and my clumsy nature.

He held my hand again and started to drag me inside the restaurant. But unlike Johnathan, he was not hurting me while doing so. His grip on my hand was loose and his steps were small.

"Hello Sir, How can I help you?", A beautiful woman asked him the moment we walked inside.

"I need a table for two."

"Sure. This way.", She answered and guided us toward the table.

Once we were settled, he ordered the food for both of us.

"I don't know what I should do with you.", He said as I looked at him. "My siblings are already mad that I brought you with me even after knowing that you're not Knight's daughter.", He added and ran his hand in his hair in frustration.

So, they also knew?

"And soon Dad will find out about it as well.", He sounded tense at the mention of his father. It seemed like he was scared of his reaction.

"Are you mute?"

I quickly shook my head in negative.

"Then care to explain why to act like their daughter?"

"Th..they threatened me..", I whispered, hoping he would have heard me. I saw him clenching his fist in anger. He didn't ask anything after that. I gathered some courage and asked the question which had troubled me for a long time. "What...what is the punishment you're going to give me? Will you kill me or will you do something worse than that?", I added.

I felt him stiffen at my question. It looked like a bucket of ice was dropped on him.

Alexander's POV

She looked beautiful even though her mind was somewhere else. I intentionally cleared my throat to get her attention and the moment our eyes met.

I couldn't breathe.

My heart started pounding loudly.

But I still maintained a poker expression because I was taught by my father not to show any emotions in front of people whom you don't trust and I really didn't trust the Vulture surrounded near me.

"She's my darling, my princess, Amber.", James's voice brought me back to reality and it made Amber look away immediately. It took me a while to realize that Amber didn't resemble James or his wife while the other girl behind Amber did.

Even though I had caught their lies, my heart wanted to take Amber with us instead of the girl who was standing behind her. I also knew that the outcomes of my decision wouldn't be great. But at that time, I didn't give a damn about it.

"Then say goodbye to your princess!", I played along with James' Drama. "Then say goodbye to your princess!", I signaled Marcus to pick the gun from the table and he did that work excellently without getting caught by Amber.

But the whole time, he had a stupid smirk on his lips. "Okay, Bro. Have fun", He commented, while at the same time, Lily didn't seem happy with my decision but she didn't say a word against it. By observing her expression, I could tell that we are going to have a long discussion over it once we are home.

"Come with me, Amber.", Saying this, I held her wrist and a wave of spark ran all over my body.

Bloody Hell!!!

What the fuck was that?

First, I never felt attracted to any girl in my whole life just by looking at her and second, I never felt this tingling feeling after touching someone. This girl was really something. While I was thinking all this, I kept my expression blank.

I didn't create any drama over there and when I was far away from their house, I wanted my would-be wife to know that I already knew her truth!!

"Did those Knights really think that I won't be able to find out that they have sent their maid with me instead of their daughter?", I said and planned to give them the worst punishment for fooling us. "And I can't believe that you are even included in their plan?", I added, feeling angry and disappointed with Amber. "Now, you're going to receive all the punishment that their daughter was going to receive."

I really couldn't believe that she was also cunning behind her innocent face. Talking about her innocent face, I recalled her beautiful baby blue eyes, framed by thick dark lashes. Her lips were red because of the lipstick she had used. I couldn't help but wonder about the actual color of her lips.

For god knows what reason, I felt a strange connection to her, and I couldn't bring myself to punish her.

I looked at her, to check what she was doing and found her crying. My heart ached to see her cry.

"I hate crying babies.", I said, wiping her tears.

I couldn't handle seeing her tears and there I was thinking of punishment, like REALLY?

I took her to a restaurant for breakfast because I was sure that she wouldn't have eaten anything until now and observing her figure, I made sure to feed her all the time until she put on some weight. She followed me like a lost puppy in the restaurant. I ordered food for both of us.

"I don't know what I should do with you.", I said to initiate the conversation "My siblings are already mad that I brought you with me even after knowing that you're not Knight's daughter and soon Dad will find out about it as well.", I added

I couldn't imagine Dad's anger when he would find out the truth.

I was grateful that this morning he left for another country for some work but the day when he would return would definitely be the worst day of my life because, for the first time, I had disobeyed his order. But then I remembered that I hadn't heard her voice until now.

"Are you mute?", I asked, raising my brow. She shook her head instead of speaking. "Then care to explain why to act like their daughter?", I asked another question that had troubled me for a long time.

"Th..they threatened me..", She whispered meekly. I stared at her for a brief moment. I felt sorry for her, looking at me with fearful eyes. She seemed so sweet and innocent and didn't deserve to be treated like that, I felt so bad to her that I promised to teach a lesson to Knight for doing this to her. "What...what is the punishment you're going to give me? Will you kill me or will you do something worse than that?", She asked in a low tone.

I wish I could say to her that I could never hurt her. I knew for her better life, I should let her go because dad would surely kill her after all she was no use to him. But an unusual and sudden protective instinct washed over me and I swore to keep her safe at any cost even if meant going against my father. "What if I say that your punishment is to love me?"

Immediately the size of her eyes increased. It seemed like she wasn't expecting this answer from me. "I...I..

"Don't worry. I will give you enormous time to know me and my way of living.", I added to ease her nervousness. She gave a small smile and I smiled back at her. My heart thumped against my chest, seeing her smiling.
