Seattle,
In the middle of the night,
Clouds roared loudly in the sky above. The roaring was so intense that the screeching sound of the halting bus got camouflaged, "Be careful, baby." A man softly said whilst looking behind him at the girl who followed him out of the bus.
"Thanks, bud. It was a nice ride." The man waved at the driver of the bus as he carried a small bag on his shoulder.
The driver smiled, "Have a safe journey, dude." the doors closed automatically and it once again resumed its speed, running on the wet road of Seattle under the drizzling night.
The weather became mystically haunting. The girl wanted to enjoy every moment of such weather as it fills one's heart with happiness albeit, she could do nothing more than holding her whiffs, and following every step the man took. She wanted to feel positive and hopeful about life amidst such a serene ambiance but her thumping heart made it difficult.
She carried her little bag on her back. Her fingers clasped around the straps of her backpack as she followed the man. The light rainfall in fine drops on the ground made a musical note which soothed her mind. She concentrated around the dark surrounding amidst the melodious air and then abruptly stilled, realizing that the man walking before her had turned around, and staring at her.
"Uh, is so-something wrong, daddy?" She asked with cracking fumbles, and in reflex, she was pulled forward by her hair and was forced to look into his dark frightening eyes.
She shuddered when the man who was believably her father pulled her until her head uncomfortably moved up. Small drops of rain cascaded below on her face as a small yelp erupted from her mouth, "That hurts, daddy!"
However, her father yanked her hair more and tears occurred before her retina. She seized her lips together in order to suppress her threatening sobs and endured the pain with a crazily beating heart.
"You are a good learner. I am impressed you learned to behave across people real soon, but I must say you can't control your excitement even today." He dangerously whispered with a cluck of his tongue. "Do you want me to teach you how to control your excitement, Reyne???" She mouthed a painful and inaudible apology.
Reyne dreadfully eyed her father's face and clutched her eyelashes together, "Daddy, I am sorry. I will behave myself from the next time" She sobbed hoping for her father to let her go.
She let out a gasping sigh when indeed he left her hair and grunted, "Good. We have come to a new place. I would be glad if you act nicely. I don't want anyone to pick up on me just because my daughter is mannerless! Hari Stark's daughter cannot be a mannerless bitch! Do you get that?" He reminded her.
"I am sorry, daddy. I swear on myself that I will behave nicely. Please do-don't hurt me. Please." She pleaded.
On seeing her condition, her father let her go and moved backward, "Very well then. Now come on, follow me. We need to head to our new home quickly before it rains faster."
She composed herself and resumed following her father.

"Zaneee," While the thudding noise of the steps neared towards the door, Zander heard his mother's howl coming along.
He still laid unaffected on the bed and dug his head in the pillow. Not even a minute has passed that the sun rose again, but his mother came to give him a call in the early morning already.
He quickly pulled the pillow on his head such that his skull was sandwiched between the mattress and the bed while he held the two ends of his pillow with his hands.
'No matter how much you force me, I am not going to school, mom!!! I don't want to see them acting all lovey-dovey around me, huh.'

"Zander Brown, I know you are not sleeping, so get up quickly!" Mrs. Brown heaved.
Behind her, little Milan entered his room with her forefinger in her mouth. She stopped next to her mamma and gripped her pajamas around her calf and watched her sniffle at her brother.
"Mamma, what happened?" she inquired in her baby voice. "Why are you scolding Zany?" her innocence caught his heed.
He peeked out of the pillow at his little baby sister and stretched his hand out to invite her. She easily interpreted her brother's action and climbed the bed that was an inch higher than her height.
She slid in his arms and chuckled when her brother covered themselves with the quilt, "Let's go to sleep together and let mom scream, okay?"
"Okay," she whispered, imitating his soft tone while there their mother's jaw dropped in bewilderment.
She crossed her arms together before her chest and huffed. Mrs. Brown walked up to the bed and pulled out the blanket.
No sooner had she pulled it out than Milan and Zander laughed together as if their mother was playing with them.
"You," she glared at her son while pulling Milan out of his grip. "You will spoil her, Zander. She has learned to fake her whines! All thanks to you."
Her daughter whined. She faked cries, hence proving Mrs. Brown right. She was bewildered to see Milan trying to get back in her brother's embrace with soft audible muffles coming from her mouth, "Mamma, huhu..." but Mrs. Brown drew her out and placed her on the floor, and pointed towards the door.
Lovely Milan innocently looked behind her at the door confusingly as she could not get her mamma's actions until she spoke out, "Go to daddy, he is waiting for you in the kitchen."
"Daddy is waiting?" she asked.
"Yeah." Mrs. Brown replied.
"Don't go, Milan. Come back to Zany, let's sleep in the quilt together. Come here, baby." Zander turned over his stomach, he spread his hands out calling for her.
He chuckled realizing his sister was really struggling to reach him but their mother stood between them as an obstacle. Mrs. Brown pointed at the door behind as she eyed Milan with a fake frown, "I told you to go to the kitchen, didn't I?" She huffed, and then she picked Milan up.
"Mom, why don't you let her go?"
"I will. But first, you get up and freshen up yourself. You can't miss your school any longer, Zander Brown. Enough of your obstinacy."
"I am not going to school. I don't think I need to attend that stupid school again." He grumbled, sitting on the bed with crossed legs. "Not when I know that Alpha and the Principal wants me to repeat the year again!"
Yeah, that was true. Since the Bully Gang or as they call themselves, the Wild Wolves wasted their previous year; Alpha Hercules decided to have them repeat the year. Not Zander alone, but also Ryley and the others.
Oh no no, that was the real issue why he refused to go to the school. But Valen. The naive foolish mate of his best friend!
"I don't want to go to school too!" Milan spoke. That made Zander laugh and frustrate Mrs. Brown.
She narrowed her eyes to glare Zander and gritted her teeth, "Look at her. She follows you. She has not even started her school but she does not want to go to school either. Geez, Zander for her sake, get up and get ready. I am sure you would not want your sister to spoil like you."
"Oh yeah, whatever!" He rolled his eyes.
But anyways, Zander got up from the bed. He kissed his sister everywhere on her face and also his mother on her cheek before he swung around towards the bathroom.
All mommies know how to get their children to work, don't they?

At the school,
Zander stopped his car in the parking area. He removed the strap of his seat belt and opened the door to get out. As soon as he kicked the door behind, Ryley, his best friend pounded on him from the back and screamed near his ear.
"What the!! Bitch, have you gone insane." Zander hissed as he caressed his ear lobe with the forefinger.
He only got a sweet cute smile in return from Ryley, "You can say that though. I really feel amazing. Returning to school never felt so amazing!"
"Yeah, yeah." Zander rolled his eyes. "I can see where this foolishness is coming from." He remarked, looking behind Ryley over Valen's figure that has kneeled to the ground. She was Ryley's mate.
She was doing something. It was not visible but Zander could bet she was up to something foolish.
"Ohh, her, she is playing with a caterpillar." Ryley answered his friend's unasked question as the two of them walked ahead, with their arms around each other's neck.
Six months passed. That incident with the dark creature was thrilling. But thanks to the moon goddess, life was back on its track. Ryley, the alpha's son who hated his mate earlier, succeeded in bringing her back from the mouth of death after defeating the monster.
Although they succeeded in the battle of life, they failed in the battle of knowledge. Everyone from the bully gang failed their last year of higher secondary school.
Yep, they failed already but Alpha Hercules still ordered them to attend the first day of school of New academic year as he had something important to discuss. Yeah, today was the first day. Zander was not so very happy about it yet he had to come here.
It was funny and shameful because Valen passed her class and was promoted to the next class despite being the cause behind Ryley and his friends' failure.
"Hii, Zander" Zander's heart skipped a beat when he saw Valen smiling at him with a wave of her hand.
She got up from the ground and joined Ryley on his side. He kind of stilled in his spot as she kept her gaze fixed on his face. She was beautiful. She was a gorgeous chick with heck of sex appeal. Valen looked amazing in her tight Jeans and crop top that revealed her bare smooth white skin.
'Freak, you can't look at her that way, Zander!'
He scoffed at himself.
Zander found his wolf snarling inside him ferociously. And Ryley noticed that. It was his varying feelings towards his friend's mate that were making things hard.
"Uhh, I need to go" He quickly announced and walked ahead earlier than Ryley or Valen asked him anything.
"He is really strange." Ryley heard Valen remark. "We were going inside the school, weren't we? Then why did he have to rush before us." Ryley shrugged his shoulders.
"Let us go inside." He slipped his arm behind her back and locked around her waist.
