Inside Haven Heights (A tall building with panoramic views of the city that serves as a refuge for Outlander.)
"Mummy... Please don't go," the little boy begged, tears streaming down his cheeks.
"I am so sorry, my dear son, that I cannot be by your side this time. Please promise me that you will take care of yourself and fight for your survival. The world around you is different now and your strength and determination will be your best allies. And remember, trust no one but yourself," his mother said, hugging him tightly as tears welled up in her eyes. "But, Mom..." the boy protested, hoping to change her mind.
"Promise me, Jonas...promise me," she urged, firmly but full of love.
"I...promise," he stammered, not fully understanding the gravity of the situation but wanting to comfort his mother.
"Nora, time is running out. He must leave as soon as possible, otherwise his chances of survival will be low. A man's voice comes from behind, asking them to separate.
"Farewell, my beloved son. Always appreciate the knowledge of my boundless love for you. May this never disappear from your memory," she says, looking attentively into her son's face one last time. After kissing him gently on the forehead, she reluctantly lets go of the hug and turns to leave.
"No...Mom, please don't leave me... - he screams, desperately clinging to the fading remnants of sleep.
"Wayde...Wayde." A voice gently taps his arm, but because he's sleeping so soundly, he didn't want to wake up.
"Wayde, you have to get up!" The ghouls are approaching the city wall!" The moment these words reach his ears, he shudders, his body bathed in sweat.
"What did you just say?" Wayde asks, searching the remnants of his dream for evidence of reality. "Ghouls! They were spotted just a few kilometers from the border area. Their advance towards Zulum's domain is imminent," reports Zyden, bearing grim news.
Wayde is speechless and takes a few steps back to process the startling revelation. Years of relentless battle against these monsters took a heavy toll and claimed the lives of countless comrades. As the leader of the Outlanders, he carried the burden of not just the entire town of Zulum, but the entire city. That's why he couldn't afford to make mistakes under any circumstances. He should embody strength, intelligence and strategic skill.
"Spread the word to prepare everyone, for we will be going beyond the city walls," Wayde said after a brief pause.
"Beyond the city walls?!" - Zyden exclaimed, taken aback by the unexpected order.
"Yes, outside the city walls. "Trust me, I know what I'm doing," Wayde assured with conviction.
"Well, if you say so," Zyden replied, his confused expression remaining as he left Wadye's quarters. Wayde had fought for countless years and had never encountered ghouls that attacked in broad daylight. The nights were reserved for fighting and the days for rest. But now these monsters have boldly emerged under the watchful gaze of the sun.
"Damn it," he seethed quietly. Something sinister lurked outside the city of Zulum and he was determined to uncover the truth at any cost.
Wayde was a young man of unwavering spirit and determination. His appearance was as impressive as his determination. At 6'3", he has a strong and athletic physique, a testament to his constant commitment to training and self-improvement.
His piercing blue eyes sparkled with unwavering focus, reflecting the fire burning within him. Wayde's striking features were accentuated by a chiseled jawline and a bit of stubble, giving him an air of gentle strength.
His dark, tousled locks added something mystical to his overall appearance, as if reflecting the wild spirit that resided within him. Wayde's presence commanded attention, and his every move exuded confidence and purpose.
Despite all the challenges in his life, Wayde never gave up. He had an indomitable spirit and strived to face and overcome any difficulties. Each of his setbacks made him stronger and he used his determination as a catalyst for his personal growth.
Wayde ensured his protection by wearing nanocomposite fiber armor made of extremely durable and fire-resistant material. The fabric's complex composition ensured resistance to various forms of radiation, and its insulating and climate-controlled design ensured unparalleled comfort. In addition, the suit is protected against overloads, so the integrity of organs and bones is maintained even if damaged. Finally, it offered significant protection against electrical currents.
He took the laser pistol from its place on the table and made sure he had all the supplies he needed. As he turned to leave, he suddenly found himself standing still. Important things were momentarily forgotten from his mind.
With deliberate steps he reached into the hidden box under the bed and pulled out its contents.
It revealed a finely honed blade decorated with a pendant on the hilt. This loyal companion had never been by his side since his first encounter with the ghoul. His presence served the dual purpose of being a precaution in case of technical failures and a precious symbol of deep personal meaning.
This blade was given to him by the man who took him in. He provided him with both shelter and guidance, molding him into a fearsome warrior.
The pendant on the blade was a gift from his mother, it represented the last tangible connection between them, a poignant reminder of their unexpected separation. While for some the city of Zulum represented a last bastion of hope and for others a realm of excruciating suffering and endless torment, for Wayde Baxter it was a crucible of transformation where life imparted precious wisdom. It represented.
Within those limits, he evolved into something he himself could never have imagined, even over a thousand years. And here, in the arms of the city, he will exact his long-awaited revenge against the terrible enemy who set his destiny in motion.
The memory of the towering structure triggered a series of memories that took him back to the origin of his journey. Once an innocent and innocent young man, he enjoyed the sheltered cocoon of his parents' protection, blissfully unaware of the trials that awaited him. As Wayde stood in daze, memories of how it all began flashed through his mind.

Imagine a world where crime is eradicated, the specters of disease and death are banished, and desires are satisfied with the snap of a finger. A world of infinite possibilities and ..............
But amidst this impassioned statement, Troy Adams expressed fierce opposition to this grandiose vision, dismissing it as a mere lie. Angry, he knocked over the table and had his wife Nora quickly turn off the TV. Troy Addams, an unremarkable man, had an ordinary face, demeanor, and voice. He was of average height and of typical build, and his eyes, although of a plain blue tint, were cold and icy enough to pierce the sharpness and heaviness of an axe. Moreover, his lips had an ambiguous and subtle expression that gave off a secret feeling. He was just over forty. On the other hand.
His wife, Nora Addams, elegantly showed off her striking figure and slim body reminiscent of an Amazon goddess. Her decanter-shaped waist accentuated her flawless ocher-toned skin. Her pencil-thin eyebrows softly arched over lashes as black as beetle legs. Her angelic ears and pixie nose looked as if they had been created by a master. She was almost thirty years old. Their young son, Jonas Addams, inherited many of his father's physical traits, albeit with the added beauty and shiny silver mane. He had a sincere, lively and honest soul with playful eyes and blue eyes. His smile shone from within, reflecting the innocence of his childhood. He was eight years old.
Troy and Nora were once colleagues at the Nano Innovation Lab, where they worked with the respected founder Dr. Martinez Gomez. Together they spent years developing their impressive skills. But over time, Martinez became consumed by greed and selfishness, which led him to place personal gain above all else.
After learning how much he had succumbed to evil, Troy and Nora quit their jobs because they wanted no part in Martinez's evil plans. After retirement, they married and Nora had a son, Jonas.
"Jonas, go to your room." Troy commanded loudly as the young boy quickly ran away.
"What's going on, Troy? You've been acting strange the past few days." Nora asked.
"Don't you know what's going to happen? Martinez will soon launch the " New Evolution." When we were at Nano Innovations, I was involved in this field as one of the senior scientists. But I realized this wasn't about saving lives or improving the world. "It was intended to cause chaos and destruction."
After several years, it's finally finished and scheduled to be released in a few days. But no one seems to care whether it actually works or not. Even the government is not researching these new machines. Humanity has been blinded by its desire for power and immortality, and soon we will all pay the price." Troy said, shaking his head in pity.
"I understand that you care deeply about the safety of everyone in Elevation City. Even when Martinez offered you money and power to join his evil plot, you refused. You tried your best to stay away from this project and even tried to tell people the truth, but no one believed you. Now all we can do is hope for a twist of fate or a last-minute miracle. Let's wait and see how events unfold. "
Ding ding! The doorbell rang. "All right. But for now, try to stay calm." Nora said . She went to open her door and found Dr. Bryan Edison with his tall, slim build and rough, mottled skin. He always had a serious expression on his face. His young daughter, Kendra, was a beautiful young girl with short, dark, curly hair, bright blue eyes, and a heart-shaped face accented by arched eyebrows. Although she was only seven years old, she was surprisingly smart for her slender physique.
Bryan Edison became a widow after his wife died giving birth to his only child. Since then, he never remarried and focused on raising Kendra, becoming one of Nano Innovations' top scientists.
"Good morning, ma'am. Nora." Bryan greeted.
"Good morning, Brian." She answered in a cold voice.
"Hello, Aunt Nora." Kendra greeted.
"Have a good morning, dear Kendra." Nora responded as she kissed the younger girl's forehead before Kendra came into the house. She was just about to close her door when Bryan stopped her. "Bryan, what exactly do you want? You already dropped Kendra off.
"It's time to leave." Nora snapped.
"Please listen to me first. I'm not here to cause trouble. "All I want to do is talk to Troy." Bryan pleaded.
"Well, Troy doesn't want to see or talk to you, so bye." Nora answered as she tried to close the door. But Bryan stopped her again.
"This is important because it's about the lives and survival of our children," Bryan said when he finally broke the news.
Nora's anger slowly began to subside. She sighed heavily before finally letting him into the house.
"Honey, who came to the door?" Troy asked without looking at his wife. He was still focused on the newspaper.
"Hi Troy." Bryan greeted.
"What on earth are you doing in my house, you shameless bastard?" Troy, seething with rage, quickly stood up, grabbed Bryan's shirt and tried to strangle him.
"I warned you never to set foot in my house again, you traitor!" Troy screamed loudly.
"Troy, please calm down. The kids are upstairs so they can hear you. Do you remember? They are smarter than you think. If you both continue this behavior, they will soon realize it and all our efforts to keep them in the dark will be in vain." Nora advised, trying to convince her husband not to do something he would regret.
"I'm going to maks snacks for the kids. "You two should try to get along just this once." Before Nora headed into the kitchen, she looked at the two men and pleaded.
Troy finally let go of Bryan and the two stood looking at each other for a moment before Bryan decided to break the silence.
"I know I ruined everything. I'm so sorry. I admit it, you and Nora treated me like family back then. You helped me become a great scientist and, most importantly, a good father. But I took everything for granted and, like Martinez, I allowed greed and power to rule me. But now I regret it. And I know it's too late to fix the situation, but I want you to know that I'm so sorry for everything I've done," Brian pleaded.
Troy looked at Bryan with a look of surprise written all over his face. He still couldn't believe that Bryan, who was arrogant and selfish at the time, was standing in front of him.
"Then what can I say? It's already over. There's no reason to apologize anymore because it's already too late. The project has already started and no one can stop it." Troy concluded, having already lost hope.
"In fact, there is still something we can do to prevent it.......
"Jonas' room"
Nora enters the room carrying a tray of desserts, but she is startled to see the children lying in tears.
"What is going on here?" - Nora asked as she placed the tray of snacks on the table.
"Aunt Nora, is it true that we are all going to die soon?" Kendra was sobbing, her eyes already filled with tears. - No, honey, that's not true. Where did you hear such nonsense? - asked Nora.
"Jonas told me." Kendra answered.
"Jonas..." Nora called in a harsh voice.
" I....i heard you and Dad talking about it yesterday. "Dad said as soon as the project is done, we are all gonna die". Jonas admitted as the children continued to cry.
"Come here, kids." Nora said, hugging them both.
"This will never happen. No matter what happens, you both will survive, Nora thought to herself. "Shh, guys. This will never happen. It'll be okay. But if you don't eat the bread I baked for you, I will be very angry and won't cook for you anymore." She said trying to divert her attention from her main topic.
Fortunately, they believed the whole story and quickly ran to the dessert tray. Even though she didn't know what the future held for her and her family, she couldn't let the children pay for their mistakes. She was willing to fight until her last breath to ensure they survived, no matter what.
Location: Elevation City, Marvin Street
Time: 11:00 AM
Atmosphere: Intense and Chaotic
Three days later...
"Nora... Nora!" Troy gasped as he burst into the house, clearly distressed.
"What's happening, Troy? Why do you look so worried?" Nora asked, sensing her husband's uneasiness.
"No time to explain. We need to grab Jonas and leave immediately," Troy managed to say, his urgency palpable.
"What's happening? Where are we going to all of a sudden?" Nora asked, as yet attempting to get a handle on the circumstance.
"It's Martinez. Some way or another, he learned about our getaway plan. He's sent men to chase us down. We need to leave before they track down us," Troy replied, hurrying out of the house to set up the vehicle.
San Lewis Central Park
After a few tense hours of driving, Troy and his family finally arrived at the park, where Bryan and his daughter Kendra awaited them. The park was nearly deserted, as everyone had flocked to witness the highly anticipated launch of "The New Evolution" project, a leap into the future.
"Sorry we're late. Martinez discovered our plan to escape. I don't know how, but he's already onto us," Troy revealed.
"You guys go ahead with the kids, I'll stay behind to try and stop the project". Troy said
The kids??? but i thought we were supposed to leave together?". Nora asked, not sure if she understood the plan anymore.
"No i can't leave, this project all started because of me and i can't run away from what I've done, i have to stay behind to at least try and make amends for my mistakes". Bryan stated.
Troy and Nora looked at themselves for a while before Troy finally decided to speak up.
"Never thought that I'd say this even in a million years but you're right. We started this project and no matter how far we try to run, we will never be at peace with ourselves knowing fully well that we helped in destroying the world so, we'll stay behind too and help correct our mistakes." Troy volunteered and Nora agreed.
"But what about the kids". Bryan asked.
"Ever since the birth of Jonas and Kendra, I've always had this feeling that they are destined for something far more great than we can even imagine and no matter if we are around or not, i believe that we will be just fine." Nora stated as the parents said their last good byes to the kids .

Atmosphere: Dim and blustery, unfavorable mists twirling above, blazes of lightning enlightening the sky, and the sound of thunder thundering somewhere far off.
The atmosphere is palpably charged with a potent blend of excitement and unease. A project of monumental proportions is poised on the precipice of launch, a venture with stakes higher than the heavens and consequences that remain veiled in the fog of uncertainty. Jonas parents, once pioneers in the field, find themselves at the crossroads of morality and ambition. Their decision to disentangle themselves from the clutches of the Tower's creators speaks volumes about the enduring power of conscience and the unyielding instinct to shield humanity from the ramifications of unchecked innovation.
The Tower, a silent sentinel in the background, stands as both a symbol of progress and a harbinger of uncertainty. Innocence dances in the hearts of the children, blissfully unaware of the tempest brewing just beyond the horizon. Little do they realize that this day will forever sever the tethers of childhood, ushering them into a reality irrevocably altered.
The launch unfolds, and the enormity of the project's destructive potential becomes palpable. Chaos and calamity surge forth with unrelenting vigor, leaving destruction in their wake. Within its cramped confines, Wayde and Kendra stand side by side, their gazes interlocking, their hearts entwined. In this fleeting moment, promises are exchanged, assurances of reunions are whispered, and the unspoken understanding that their lives are forever changed hangs heavy in the air.
The separation is swift, a wrenching separation born of necessity. The pod hurtles through the unknown, the gap between the children growing wider with each heartbeat. Zulum City - A Beacon Amidst the Ruins
In the aftermath of the cataclysmic event that unleashed the perilous project known as "The New Evolution," the world stood on the precipice of annihilation. The actual underpinnings of civilization disintegrated, and the remainders of society were projected into disorder. The consequences of humanity's insatiable thirst for power had been catastrophic - cities reduced to rubble, ecosystems laid waste, and the human population decimated. The aftermath was a scarred, fractured world, bearing the heavy burden of its own hubris. But even amidst the desolation, a spark of resilience flickered in the hearts of the survivors - a spark that would ultimately ignite the formation of "Zulum City," a symbol of hope in the face of despair.
In the midst of the remnants, the people who had figured out how to face the hardship arose out of the shadows, their spirits solid regardless of the immensity of the misfortune that had happened to them. These remnants of humanity were united by a shared determination to rise from the ashes and rebuild. The task before them was monumental - to construct a haven that would shelter them from the chaos beyond, to establish a new home that would encapsulate the indomitable will of the human spirit.
And so, the journey began. In the midst of devastation, a city began to rise. The formation of Zulum City was not merely a matter of erecting buildings; it was a feat of collective strength, strategic planning, and a commitment to the survival of the species. The survivors pooled their expertise, leveraging their diverse skills to forge a city that would defy the very forces that had sought to extinguish them. Architectural ingenuity blended seamlessly with advanced technology, creating a fortified enclave that stood as a testament to humanity's ability to adapt and overcome.
The blueprint of Zulum City was a reflection of the harsh lessons learned from the world's downfall. Every brick, every wall, every defense mechanism bore the scars of the past, a stark reminder of the consequences of unchecked ambition. The city's engineering was fastidiously planned for style, yet for security - a rambling bastion encompassed by forcing walls and cutting edge safeguards that remained as an impressive defense against the risks that hid past. Zulum City was a physical manifestation of humanity's resolve to protect what remained of their species and prevent history from repeating itself.
Yet, Zulum City was not just a fortress; it was a microcosm of humanity's resurgence. Within its walls, a new society began to flourish. Markets emerged, trading post-apocalyptic resources for a semblance of normalcy. Educational institutions took root, ensuring that knowledge would continue to be passed down through generations. The city became a hub of innovation, with scientists and thinkers collaborating to mend the wounds that had been inflicted upon the world. The survivors transformed from isolated individuals into a united community, forging connections and fostering a sense of belonging that had been absent in the chaos that had preceded them.
However, Zulum City was not without its own set of challenges. The very constructs that had sheltered the survivors also posed questions of governance, ethics, and responsibility. As the last remnants of humanity gathered within its walls, they grappled with the weight of their actions and the consequences of their past choices. The city's leadership was tasked with making decisions that carried the weight of the world's survival, navigating the delicate balance between maintaining order and upholding individual rights.
