"Princess Bella at this rate we won't have a

Dress to pick for your wedding" Nami told her looking tried

"Like I want to get wedded?" Bella replied her

"Princess you don't have choice about getting married, you marry who so ever your father gives you" Nami explained

"The you should also marry who so ever your father give you" bella told her too.

"I am not a princess but you are" Nami explained again.

"Whatever, just pick anything I don't care, I have the marriage class in the afternoon, thinking about it makes me sick" she told her maid.

"So jealous that you are getting married to the most handsome prince in the entire world" Nami told her while demonstrating with her hands and also with a big smile on her face.

"Stop exaggerating, we haven't even seen him before" Bella disagreed with a frown on her face.

"But we have heard about him" her maid insisted

"And?, Nami seeing is believing" she also insisted

"What if you don't like him?" Nami ask accepting defeat.

"Like I have a choice?" She told her maid then kept quiet for a very long time.

"Pick one dress and let's return to the palace"

"Yes your highness" Nami bowed to the princesses command

"We would pick, the white gown with purple diamonds please" Nami told the tailors

"Yes ma'am" and they responded together.

While they where arranging the clothes, she walked out from the Tailor shop and looked at the large number of people working on the farm, just opposite the farm Land.

she had insisted that she wants her wedding dress done here because she thought of it as the only opportunity to leave the palace.

And she is happy that, that is now happening.

"Princess Bella let's go now, your dress would be sent to you tomorrow" Nami said as she gave little bow.

"Okay" she replied her.

She picked her gown as usual to walk, most people think that royalties picking up gown means majesty, but not in all kingdoms.

In her case the dress keeps falling to her feet and she might fall, if she step on it, and she won't want to embarrass herself by Falling down in the presence of her subject right?

She stepped into her Carriage and her maid stepped inside with her, and they started to move.

She breathed out real deep she going back to the dungeon.

Desmond watch the carriage move and let out a smile reveling his dimples.

"Why are you smiling?" His friend asked cleaning the sweat from his face

"Just saw the princesses" he responded still smiling

"Princess Bella?" His friend asked

"Yeah, didn't know that she is so beautiful" he tells him.

"I heard she is but, she is no match for you" his friend tells him pointing out the obvious

"I didn't say I was going to marry her though" he replied with the smile on his face wiping of as he remembered the reality.

"Your eyes looks like it Desmond before it gets too deep snap out of it" his friend reminded him.

"She is just so pretty" he said to him with a frown on his face still.

"You are controlling a lot of girls here in this kingdom, if you don't want to get in trouble with her father get your eyes off her, and get back to work, we need to collect our wages" his friend said got back to work

"Alright, let's get back to work"

The carriage slowly entered the palace, the further they got inside the deep her frown appeared on her face.

The palace is the last place she would want to be.

She saw the queen waiting for her in front of the palace with her maids and guards and she wondered if anything is wrong and she couldn't wait to find out.

As soon as the carriage stopped she got down and went over to her mother, with a worried look on her face.

"Mother" she called softly as walked towards her

"Welcome princess how was the dress?" Her mother said taking her daughter's hands in hers.

"We picked a beautiful one and it would be brought to the palace tomorrow for the proper inspection, Nami picked it out" she responded with smiles on her face.

"I see" her mother said

"We have a problem?" Her mother told her

"I'm not getting married again it has been cancelled?" She said in excitement

"What?!, No not that, your father decided to make your engagement to be shifted to this night?" Her mother explained in a Rush.

"This night? But why?" She asked dropping her hands from her mother's hands.

"Obviously to make your wedding a day after tomorrow" her mother said taking her hands back into her own hands.

"You didn't agree with do you?" She asked her.

"This is for the better" her mother assured her

"Mom, this isn't fair" she insisted

"Nothing is fair my dear, so we need to get you ready for your engagement this night"

"Just wake me up and tell me that this is a nightmare"

"It is reality my dear, let's go"

After working on the farm Land, Desmond and his friend rover collected their wages and made their way out of the farm land.

"Let's get some food with this I am starving" rover said as the sat down beside the barn

"Foods on me" Desmond told him.

"Sure, you are the prince, a servant won't buy food for the prince would he?" Rover told him smiling

"Shut up don't let people hear you" he said looking around.

"Your father would be really worried we have been gone for too long now" rover thought aloud worried

"Not a bother my brother is getting married so he won't have our time yet"Desmond assures him.

"We need two more workers to convey this goods to the palace were do we get them from" someone announced beside them.

"Nobody is willing to work because they say our wages are to small" another person responded

"I would go" he volunteered to those people

"What are you doing?" Rover asked trying to stop him

"No we would go, no matter the wage we would go to the palace, no matter the pay"

"but why mother, why the sudden change of mind? I am so not prepared to have an engagement this evening" princess Bella followed her mother behind her with her gown dragging on the floor.

"Who says you need to be prepared? I got everything ready, so just put all that you have been taught into use, that all" the queen replied going to where she is headed.

"But seriously mom?" She still complained.

"Princess Bella, you are the princess of this nation, what ever command that is given to you, you bow and accept it, if wanted so much authority you should have been a prince instead" her mother said and turned away, but princess Bella couldn't continue.

"She gave me the red flag didn't she?" Princess Bella said to her maid after her mother had gone.

"You made her do it, you know that nothing you say would change her mind and pushed on with it" Nami said standing closer to her.

"Are scolding me?" She asked her

"Because you deserve to be scolded, let's get you ready for your engagement" Nami said pulling her in her hands

"Ah I am seriously not ready" she complained as she is been dragged

"Tell that to your father" her maid told her.

"Ah seriously"

"Let the palace gate me let opened"

Although the king gave his order late, but The palace was filled within hours.

The people keeps bringing in their gifts in their numbers and the palace is filled with people preparing for their visitors, and also their in laws who would be getting married to the princesses.

If there is anything the people of this kingdom don't lack it is unity, they always celebrate each other even if it is not the king. And not since it is the princess they would do it wholeheartedly.

Desmond entered the palace with other workers with bags of rice and other food stuffs

They all dropped the bags in a store and collected their wages.

Desmond took time to walk around the whole village that he didn't notice that his left-hand man has disappeared, the palace is big and we'll built but his kingdom's palace is bigger and even 3times bigger than this, but it is still well constructed.

When he got back to his sense that was when he realized that he was gone and started searching over for him, for all he knows he thought that they were together.

He suddenly appeared before him and gave a bow.

"What is it?" Desmond asked when he saw the worried look on his face.

"You have to report to the palace immediately your highness" he replied him without raising his head from the ground.

"I asked what it is?" Desmond insisted

"I would get the horse, it is a royal command.

"You look beautiful" Nami hyped her as she applied her makeup for her.

"Thank you" she appreciated dryly.

"So pretty" Nami hyped again.

"Thank you" she replied again looking very sad.

"Why aren't you happy because you don't want to get wedded or because it was shifted?" Nami asked her looking at her through the mirror.

"Both, I was thinking I could elope" she said looking down playing with her fingers.

"Don't think and get me into trouble, your father would behead me for sure" Nami tells her with a serious look on her face.

"I would take you with me" bella volunteered

"No thanks, be rest assured he is going to be the most handsome man in the whole wide world" Nami tried to comfort her

"Indeed"

"Have you seen anything ugly prince?"

"Yes I have, prince lee"

"No Prince lee was just born on the bad side of the labour room" Nami tried to make a joke but the princess wasn't in the mood.

"That was supposed to be funny?" She asked her with a straight face

"But I guess it wasn't" Nami said with disappointment written on her face.

While the two girls were talking, the door opened reveling the king, Nami went on her knees immediately and bowed her head to the ground while bella just bow her head with her hands placed in front of her like the princess she is.

It is the king, except he commands no one dare looks at him in the face.

And for him to come all the way here it is certain he has something to say.

The ride back to his own kingdom wasn't easy normal with house it takes, ten hours but because it is urgent it took, two hours.

As soon as Desmond got down from the horse he vomited, everything in his stomach, he was so dizzy and surprised that chan didn't looked not shaken.

"We must go to the palace now" he said standing straight

"This guy wants to murder me, I need a minute to catch my breath" he said trying to breathe slowly.

They both entered the palace together but Desmond walked like his drunk because he was still dizzy, he opened his eyes slowly and saw that the palace wasn't looking nice, everywhere is disorganized

As soon as he saw the king he went on one kneels, and also with chan behind him

"Here I am father" he said with the dizziness flying away.

"The prince is supposed to get engaged this midnight, but he is seriously ill" the king announced to him

"Lucas is ill?" He said with concern

"I had already promised the bride's family this night, it can't be changed, so someone needs to get married to her on your brother's behalf" the king told him.

"Give me the command I would find someone worthy" he said not looking up.

"The worthy person is right here"

"The worthy person is right here?" He asked after him

"Yes, and that is you prince Desmond, this midnight you are getting engaged and the day after tomorrow you are getting married on your brother's name, that's my command. Get ready for the engagement"

He looked up to make a contract with the king when the king made that announcement, he really wondered what this is?

"My king are you asking me to marry my brother's wife?" Desmond asked again to confirm but really hoped that, that is not it.

"Her father suddenly shifted the marriage I can't disappoint him and since he hasn't seen Lucas before go on his behalf, and yesi am asking you to marry your brother's wife on his behalf" the king told him confirming his fears.

"So do we tell them that I am Lucas? Or what?" He said trying to keep his anger.

"Yes untill your brother is headed you are Lucas, and he is Desmond that is a royal command" the king finally said and left the throne room.

Desmond watched his father leave the room where his throne is, this didn't sit right with him, he is not prepared for marriage he really isn't, and besides to his brother's wife does that even make sense?

But he dare not say it out.

"Prince Lucas let's prepare for your marriage" chan said to him still in his kneeling position

"Are you seriously calling me Lucas?" Desmond asked chan with disgust.

"It's the king royal command" he tole him with his head bowed

"Not even you" he said rolling his eyes.

"Let's go your royal highness" Lucas repeated.

"You look beautiful princess Bella " her father complimented

"Thank you father" she replied him with her head bowed down.

"I heard from your mother that you are against getting married today" her father told her.

"No father, it Is just to sudden and I wasn't prepared for it, So I don't want to disappoint you" she said shaking all over trying not to make mistakes with her words.

"It's okay princess, be well prepared from now to the day after tomorrow, that when you are finally leaving to be a Queen" her father told her and pat her on her shoulders.

"Yes father" she replied him

"If you need anything I would be in my chambers" her father said giving his final statement

"Yes father" she replied him.

"You must be really beautiful princess Bella, this the first time that he is complimenting you" Nami said standing beside her father the king left.

"He telling me to do a good job with my face" bella concluded.

"His voice didn't sound like that" Nami disagreed

"I feel so tired" bella confessed

"Take a quick nap then, the engagement isn't on until midnight" Nami said parking the table were they did the makeup.

"Sure please get me food I am starving" she begged.

"No you can't you need to look fit in your princess dress, we can't get people think that you are pregnant" Nami told

"It would have digested before then" Bella said almost shouting

"Just a little" Nami told her

"Yeah just small" she agreed

"I would go get it for you so take a nap" Nami said and made her way out of the her room while bella fell on her bed.

This marriage thing is already getting real, right in her presence, and she is just nineteen couldn't they wait a year more?

Her mother is right, she should have come to this world as a prince then she would have authority over this, but she came as a princess instead and now she really getting married, to someone she hasn't seen before nor her parents.

She doesn't know what lay ahead of her, she really doesn't know, let's assuming she knows she would have jumped off her window and ran away.

"Pa pa pa pa ran ran" the trumpet sounded and the murmuring from the people stopped.

"The prince has arrived" the crier shouted and everyone bowed their face to the ground as prince Lucas (Desmond) Walked into the palace with his people, on their different horses.

They slowly got down from the horse and entered the palace fully, into the welcoming hands of Bella's parents, in front of the the palace building.

"I finally get to see you prince Lucas" Bella's father told him.

"Yes your highness" he bowed his face to the ground.

"Congratulations on your engagement" her mother greeted him.

"Thank you for giving me the opportunity to marry your daughter" he took her hands and kissed it.

"Let's go into the palace to start the merry as the princess step down from her room" the king told them and led the way.

He tried to hide his pain as they walked into the palace, but after seeing the portrait of the princess he stopped.

so the person his brother wanted to get married to is the princess of this kingdom? The princess he had his eyes on?

"Prince Lucas?" Bella's mother called after him.

"Yes?" He replied her

"Shall we?" She said gesturing with her hands for him to move

"Of course we shall" he told her and followed her.

"Prefect" Nami said as she finished dressing her.

"This isn't perfect, it is heavy" Bella complained

"That is how it is supposed to be, so that you can walk slowly" Nami told her folding her hands.

"What about the heat?" She asked her.

"That's why you shouldn't sit near the fire" Nami gave a solution.

"What about the cold?" She pointed out another complain.

"Cold is better than heat, so shall we?" Nami told her asking her to move out of the room.

"No I don't want to" bella told her stamping her feet against the floor.

"Should I call that king?" Nami said frustrated

"led the way" bella told her and pick up her dress, the last person she would want to see right now is the king.

Nami opened the door of her room and stepped outside, this is really happening she is getting engaged, but she doesn't want to, but she is.

After Nami opened the door she felt like a new chapter of her life as been opened and really it has been opened.
