Aria's smile was particularly unusual this evening, and she was extra nice to the customer; she also received more tips than usual.
Bella, her co-worker, nudged her softly and raised a brow to ask why she was happy.
Aria had a bright smile on her face, and her cheeks turned red. "Today is Marco's and my fifth dating anniversary, and guess what I'm going to give the whole of me to him tonight?"
Bella exclaimed with a teasing smile. "Wow, congratulations on your dating anniversary, Ms. Virgin at twenty-five. Today is Marco's lucky day. After five years, he's finally going to see the color of your pants."
Aria quickly covered Bella's mouth with her hand, and she eventually fanned herself as her cheeks were burning bright red. "Why are you shouting?"
"Hey, blondie, gotta be needing two cups of dirty whiskey."
Aria sighed dramatically. That's the problem that comes with her work.
Blondie is the most decent name she's ever been called since the week, and what she hated the most about this work is the assault and harassment that comes with it.
They all have a mindset that everyone working in this line of business is a slut, and to them, they are just doing her a favor by noticing her.
But Aria has been a no-nonsense girl; she's very beautiful. Striking blue eyes, blonde hair, C-cup breasts, fair skin, red lips, and a round butt that often raised her short skirt.
Men go mad over her, and even the manager of the bar has wooed her, but Aria has only one man in her life who she's extremely infatuated with, and that's her boyfriend, Marco.
Her Marco is everything to her, and they've been together since high school.
Aria kept her phone close to her in her pocket so that she could quickly answer the phone when Marco called because he had promised her an amazing date tonight in her favorite restaurant.
Aria quickly gathered her mind together, and she went to give the drink to the table that asked for it.
"Hey, blondie, you're sexy. What do you say we make it out of here together?" A drunk-looking guy spoke with a slurred voice.
Aria put on her fake tight-lipped signature smile. "No, I think I'll pass."
"Then it's your loss, girl!"
Before Aria could answer the guy, her phone rang in her pocket, so she quickly excused herself to a secluded corner of the club.
A smile appeared on her face as she glanced at the caller ID.
She took a deep breath and cleared her throat before she answered the call. "Hi Marco!"
Instead of the cheerful voice that always makes Aria's day, Aria was met with a quiet one, then followed by a cough.
"Hey, I'm sorry, Aria. I couldn't make it to our anniversary. I'm down with a fever. I'm really sorry. I'll take you out as promised when I'm okay."
Aria's face quickly turned to one of disappointment, but she still mustered a smile. "You don't need to apologize. Your health comes first."
The call was quickly disconnected at the other end.
Aria frowned. He had never hung up the call on her; he must be very sick.
A thought crossed Aria's mind, and she nodded happily. He really needed her at the moment.
He's leaving all alone, and he's extremely. Why doesn't she go to him to take care of him?
It'll be her shift in thirty minutes, and she'll be an irresponsible girlfriend to leave her sick boyfriend all alone.
She quickly turned towards Bella, who was at the counter collecting the drink from the bartender.
"Bella, please can you help me to take over my shift. I promise to help you when it's your turn." Aria's voice was filled with worry and urgency, making Bella turn back to look at her.
"What's the matter, Aria? Why do you look so worried?"
"Marco is sick, and I want to go and take care of him."
Bella patted Aria's shoulder in a friendly and comforting manner. Aria was supposed to celebrate her anniversary with her boyfriend and have a lovely night together, but now he is sick.
"Yes, you should go, Aria. Don't worry. I'll be right here."
Aria took her bag from the counter, and she draped it over her arms, quickly, while waving at Bella. "Thanks, bells, I owe you one."
She quickly boarded a cab to her apartment, and she went to prepare soup for him.
She packed the soup and boarded a cab back to Marco's apartment.
On getting to the front of his apartment, she got down from the cab and paid the fare.
As she got to Marco's apartment, she saw that the door wasn't shut properly; in fact, it was ajar.
She frowned, wondering why he hadn't closed his door, but he wasn't the one who wouldn't shut his door properly.
Aria shrugged, thinking that he probably thought it was stressful due to his illness.
As she opened the door, a strange and loud sound was what welcomed her. She frowned, wondering what was going on.
But as she stepped into the house and slowly moved towards the sound, the sound became clearer.
It was the groan of a man and the moan of a woman; the woman was shouting for the man to go harder on her.
Aria's head quickly became light, and her heart thumped loudly in her chest as her palm started to sweat.
She just hopes it's not what she's thinking.
She let out a deep breath, one she hadn't realized she was holding, and tried to stop thinking about the bad.
"It's nothing, Marco must be inside watching adult movies. That's it." She let out a smile, but it was an ugly one.
As she moved closer to the sound, it led her to Marco's dining room, where Marco had a lady pressed to the table, pummeling her from behind with great force, their groans and moans filled the room.
The flask that contained the soup she was holding fell down to the floor in shock, and her eyes widened.
The sound of the fallen food flask echoed in the room, and the two turned to look at Aria.
Marco looked up with surprise and a low hissed escape from him as he quickly recovered from the surprise.
"What are you doing here?" Marco asked with a frown while his so-called cousin, who he was banging, snorted coldly, clearly not feeling happy that they'd been interrupted.
Aria's eyes were filled with tears, and her mouth opened wide in shock. Her words come out in whispers. "What do you mean, Marco? I am your girlfriend, and we've been dating for years. I'm here because you said you couldn't make it to our anniversary because you're sick, and now you're asking me why I came here?"
Marco looked away, as if he felt ashamed for a moment, and then he faced her. "Well, I didn't expect you to come, and now that you're here. You've seen whatever you came to see. You can leave now."
Aria stared at him in disbelief. "Marco, are you seriously saying this to me right now? Have you forgotten who is standing before you? It's I, Aria, your girlfriend."
Aria turned to look at who still clung to him without shame. "And is that not your cousin? You're cheating on me with your cousin. That's disgusting, Marco. How can you stoop so low?"
And that is when the bimbo finally speaks up. "Hey, foolish Aria. Point of correction, Marco and I are never cousins. We've been fucking since you can remember." She even pecked Marco's cheek with a smile.
Aria's legs were weak, and she pointed an accusing finger at Marco. "Marco, tell me what she's saying is not true and that our entire five years of relationship is not a joke?"
Marco let out a laugh, looking at her innocent face. "And that's why I never liked you. You're so gullible and foolish that you don't notice the way my so-called cousin and I looked at each other. Have I ever looked at you the way I looked at her? That's because I don't see you as beautiful. In fact, you know what a turn-off about you is? It's the fact that you're a fucking virgin."
Leila, Marco's so-called cousin, gave Marco an are you kidding me look, and she looked at Aria with a mocking smile while covering her mouth with her hand. "Wow, you mean she's a virgin at twenty-five? I don't think she belongs to this century. No wonder Marco didn't like you. Let me tell you. Marco likes experienced women."
Aria didn't think she would have to witness this in her life. Marco's betrayal hurt so badly.
But what hurt her the most was the fact that he never really loved her; he just decided to waste her youth. She kept her virginity all for him, but she's being called an alien because of that, and he even said she's unattractive.
"Marco, you can't do this to me? What we had was real." Aria finally let it out.
Marco shook his head slowly at her words. "Nope, baby girl. What you had was real. I never loved you. In fact, I only agreed to date you because of a bet in high school. I didn't really like you, but I pretended to for all these years. You know what, let's break up."
Aria turned around to wipe away the tears that fell from her eyes, and she let out a fake smile. "So you're with the whole five years because of a stupid bet. Wow! You're a real bastard than I thought, and you know what, screw you, I'm done with you trash."
She picked up the soup flask that fell to the floor, and she moved forward to Marco and slapped him thrice on the cheeks.
Marco's lips burst, and his cheeks turned as he stared at Aria in shock.
His so-called cousin was really angry that she raised her hand to slap Aria, but Aria glared at her and held her hand up in the air before flinging it away.
"Don't you dare raise your filthy hand to me."
She decided to leave with that, but as she got to the entrance of the door, she turned to them and spoke for the last time. "May you both rot in hell. Bitches!"
Aria didn't get herself; her mind kept replaying the scenes again and again.
She didn't even know when she stood by the road and boarded a taxi back to the club.
"We are here, ma'am." The driver tapped her after the third time he wasn't able to call her.
She paid the driver and came down from the cab, and she made her way to the club.
She was feeling pain in her heart that she clutched at her chest.
The pain became unbearable, and she felt like she needed something to drive the pain away, and alcohol would do the work.
She walked straight to the bartender, who recognized her and smiled at her.
Aria didn't return the smile as usual. "Where is Bella?" she asked.
The bartender noticed her unusualness, but he decided to keep quiet. "Oh, Bella has gone home since she's finished her shift."
Aria nodded and sat on the stool. "Okay, then. Can I have the mixture of the most toxic alcohol ever?"
The bartender, Josh, looked at her with his mouth open in shock.
Of course, they know Aria is like the saint among them; she never drinks.
"No, what's wrong with Aria? Did you and Marco have a fight?" He asked worriedly.
"We broke up," Aria replied flatly, and the guy opened his mouth and closed it back.
"Aria, you're not in the correct state to decide anything. I think you should go home right away."
Aria shook her stubbornly. "Josh, you don't know how I'm feeling right now. Please just do what I asked of you."
Josh sighed and finally turned to get her a cup of neat whiskey.
She has never drunk, and he doesn't know how she's going to take it.
Seeing Aria all alone, looking lost, Josh couldn't let her be by herself.
He knew Aria. Aria is kind and humble, and she once helped him to take over his shift when his mother was ill in the hospital.
He quickly excused himself and went to the back to make a call to Bella, their fellow bartender, who was Aria's friend.
He felt disappointed after he tried her number for the third time and it was switched off.
The manager of the club noticed Aria, ever since she came in, and he heard the conversation that she had broken up with her boyfriend.
He was extremely happy to see her in such a state, and he's more than willing to take advantage of the situation.
He looked at her curves, and his lingered for too long before his eyes darkened in lust.
He won't be the manager of this club again if he doesn't have his way with her tonight.
He has decided to woo her calmly and make her his girl, but she declined his offer, saying she has a boyfriend.
Now, look where her boyfriend got her.
A smirk appeared on his lips as he made his way to her.
He sat beside her on the stool, but Aria was so lost in thought that she didn't even notice him sitting right before her.
"Aria!" He called to test the water, but she didn't answer, and that's how he knew that she wasn't listening.
He brought out a pack of tablets from his pocket, and he removed two tablets from the pack.
Looking left and right and seeing that no one noticed him, he quietly slipped it into the drink and missed it together with a cunning smile.
After seeing everything missed together, he looked at Aria for a while longer and admired her while biting his lower lip.
Seeing that the bartender, Josh, is approaching again, he tapped Aria on the shoulder and gave the drink to her.
Aria took the drink from his hand without looking up to see who it was that handed her the drink, and she gulped the whole contents down her throat.
The manager smiled happily and used that medium to go away while Josh came back.
His mouth opened wide in shock, seeing that Aria had drunk the whiskey he poured into the cup.
He can't keep an eye on her while he is doing his duty; he only hopes she'll be okay.
She's a lightweight, and it didn't take her an hour to start feeling dizzy and tipsy, but still, she won't relent, and she asked for more drinks from Josh.
But seeing her already red cheeks and tipsy grin, Josh declined her offer.
Before she knew it, she started feeling heat within.
It's as if her whole body was on fire, her body felt tingly, and she started to sweat badly.
She felt the need to be out of her dress this instant, so she eventually stood up from the stool with a wobbly leg and sloppy step.
Josh wasn't paying attention to her any longer; his back was turned to her as he mixed drinks for the customers waiting in line.
Aria wobbles and drunkenly makes her way around. She's been working here forever.
So she tried to remember where she could be going, but it seemed her brain was hazy, the route was blurry, and the ground and her leg seemed heavy, mixed with the heat and throb she was feeling.
She slapped herself on the cheek. "Aria, what happened to you? Why do you fall in love with a jerk? Why does it have to be you in this condition? Why?"
After a while, her slap became sloppy, and she slowly leaned on the wall to support herself because the ground seemed to be crumbling under her feet.
The manager who had been trailing after her let out a triumphant smile, finally happy that he was able to cage her in the secluded corner of the owner's office.
No one often comes here, and the owner only comes once in a while, so the place is always secluded and locked down.
"Baby, you must be feeling hot within. Why don't I hold you and make you feel better?" His eyes were predatory as he gazed at her like prey.
In fact, it's t like a prey; oh, him, she's the easiest prey to mess with at the moment, and he's going to enjoy it.
He'll enjoy fucking her lousy virgin body he's fantasized about all this time.
He felt his little man down the north twitch in his pants with the thought.
Even Aria, in her tipsy state, had her guard up now as she heard the voice.
The voice sounded strange and dangerous to her, although the person was offering to help her, but she felt that it was not true, so she wrapped her hands around herself to protect herself.
"Who are you?" She asked sloppily.
The corner of the manager's lips curved up. "Oh, you don't need to know who I am. The exciting part is that I can finally have you to myself. I'll use your virgin body to my satisfaction. How dare you turn me down?"
He grabbed hold of her and started dragging her toward the locked room, where he swiftly opened the door.
Aria struggled and kicked in his arms, but her attempts were futile as she was already drunk. "You.... Let go of me. Don't touch me!"
Reed Luca, who decided to grace the club with his presence after a year, was walking to his office when he heard a lady scream.
He slowly walked towards the noise, and there was his manager, who was removing his trousers, trying to force himself on a lady.
Reed didn't know what came over; maybe it's because of what's happening or the girls who were silently mouthing to him.
He kicked his manager right in the butt, and it sent him flying towards the wall of the room.
