Possessed And Retaliated

Someone has taken over my body.

She is obsessively infatuated with Henry, turning my body into his fawning admirer. From the time he was an unknown nobody, the person who took over my body fell deeply in love with him. She lavished money on him, helping him become an award-winning actor, and even broke ties with her family for him.

Because of him, my brother Felix ended up in a vegetative state.

My body is suffering from severe morning sickness during pregnancy, leaving me emaciated, while he has affairs with others.

That person doesn't care; she degrades herself in humility, just wanting to gain Henry's love.

But unfortunately, that's no longer possible,

I have woken up.

The Moment of Awakening

Tears streamed down my face the moment I opened my eyes. Finally, I was back.

Gemma was screaming frantically inside my mind, "Let me out! Let me out!"

Let her out? How could I possibly do that? I watched helplessly as this woman stole my body, severing my ties with my parents. She caused my brother, Felix, the one who had always loved me the most, to get into a car accident and end up in a coma.

I wished I could make her disappear. How could I ever let her out again to continue harming my family?

"Give it up, Gemma. For the rest of your life, you'll be trapped in my mind, watching me take back everything that's mine."

Just like the old me, watching but unable to do anything.

She screamed wildly in my mind, but I didn't care at all.

I dialed the phone, my voice cold and firm, "Doctor, I want an abortion. Immediately. Right now!"

"Please, no, I beg you, don't! This child is the fruit of my love with Henry. With this child, Henry will eventually come back to me, he will eventually fall in love with me. Please, don't!"

Don't?

Back then, I begged him in my mind, not to harm my dearest family for the sake of a man, leaving my brother cold and lifeless in bed.

Did she listen to me?

Never.

She made her own decisions, for the sake of a creepy, despicable, and utterly useless man, she destroyed my family, leaving us in ruins.

Since she never heeded my pleas, why should I heed hers?

"Dream on."

"Gemma, this is my body, but it's carrying your seed. It's like a parasite, devouring my health. Why should I keep it? For the sake of your and Henry's illusory love?"

"Let me tell you, he doesn't love you at all. To him, you're not even worth trash, understand? You're nothing but a doormat."

"You're lying! He loves me, he clearly loves me!"

Gemma screamed hysterically in my mind, but no matter how much she raged, I would never change my mind.

I wanted this child dead, I wanted Henry dead,

and I wanted Gemma dead.

Everyone who destroyed my family had to die.

I sneered and gripped my phone tightly.

Chapter 3

Before the abortion, I made a special call to Henry. He must have just finished with a woman, his voice lazy and his tone impatient.

"Iris, are you done bothering me? I've told you, don't call me without my permission. Are you ignoring everything I say?"

He always treated me this way, just because the former me in this body was always so obedient to him, which made him bold enough to act so arrogantly in front of me today.

He seemed to have forgotten who it was that provided him with resources, enabling him to star in one hit show after another. Who ignored their own alcohol allergy to drink with people until they had severe stomach issues, just to get him on a popular variety show?

He forgot all of that, but I hadn't. This was my body, and the suffering it endured, I would reclaim from him bit by bit.

"Henry, did you know I'm pregnant?"

"Yeah, you told me a while ago. But what does that have to do with me? Who knows if the child in your belly is even mine?"

In my mind, Gemma screamed in despair.

"How can he treat me like this? My child, who else could it belong to but him? Who else could I have been with?"

"Henry, you wronged me!"

Hmph, don't be fooled by Gemma's heartbroken appearance now. The moment Henry beckoned her with a finger, she'd come running, eagerly seeking his attention, begging for his attention.

I've seen this happen more than once or twice. It had practically become a twisted little game between these two despicable people, extremely distasteful!

I took a grim satisfaction in Gemma's agony in my mind, even though her pain made my head throb with excruciating pain. The more she suffered, the happier I felt. Only then could I truly feel alive, fully in control of this body.

I sneered into the phone.

"I'm not calling to beg for your concern. I just wanted to inform you that your child, I'm about to terminate the pregnancy."

"I'm at Serenity Hospital. Do you want to come see it one last time?"
