Perfect Pregnancy Phase

The early morning sun rays will always find its way to disturb the sleep of many people but it succeeds only in some cases but in others it can't bring any change.

Today it played its role to wake the sleep of the girl who is sleeping perfectly in the arms of her life. She opened her eyes and looked at her lifeline sleeping in a cute position. He is having his one arm around her and his another one below his head and he is sleeping on his stomach with his mouth slightly open as if waiting for someone to keep food in his mouth.

The girl chuckled seeing her husband like this and tried to remove his hold from her body but it is not at all possible due to his iron grip on her body. She again lifted his arm with all her force

"Nandini let me sleep yaar" the man spoke in his sleepy voice and this is the sexiest voice for her in the whole world. She bent down and kissed her husband forehead.

"Manik you continue sleeping till I will get fresh and come" she spoke to him while ruffling his hairs to which he just hmmed and moved a little far from her and slept again.

She stood up from the bed and she felt her lower back sore which is very new for her. She is not a girl who gets so tired easily and getting a lower back pain even when she didn't do more work is not common.

'May be due to my periods as they are near due of one week and also may be due to more sleeping in the bed in supine position' she thought and took her clothes from her closet before moving to the washroom. She felt sudden cramps in her lower abdomen and she is not getting doubt that her periods are on.

She went inside taking the essentials and then checked to see herself blessing but what she noticed is the amount which is less now. She chucked her thoughts and got freshened using hot shower to loosen her abdominal muscles and came out to see her husband still sleeping.

"Mr. Manik malhotra wake up from your sleep now" she spoke to him in a stern voice so that he should listen to her but he didn't. So she moved closer to him and spoke in his ears

"Get up now manik otherwise let me tell you that you won't be able to make love to me for another five days" she spoke and he sat on the bed with a jerk not because she threatened about their love making but the time she said five days is enough for him to alarm him. He looked at the calendar immediately and realized one thing and looked at her confused.

"But your periods have one week time already" he spoke and she nodded her head in a yes.

"But I got early this month may be due to my stress and over work" she spoke to him and he held her hand. He made her sit on the bed beside him

"I know that now the pain will be more so please today sit in the home and rest" he spoke to her while she looked at him with all the love in her

"But manik I will be bored here and in office you will be there to take care of me so please I will come and I promise no extra work" she spoke and he nodded his head in yes thinking it of a little time. He stood from his place to get himself an outfit for today. She moved downstairs to prepare the breakfast for them.

Manik is the CEO of the entire malhotra industries and nandini is the CEO of the interior designing branch in the malhotra industries. They both have the same cabin in their office after their marriage. It was a out and out love marriage and their parents were more than happy to get them married. After their marriage both of their parents together went for world tour and it's been nearly one and half year and still their world tour is not over because after all they got a chance for their second honeymoon so they enjoying their life to their best.

Manik came down after his daily routine in his formals which consist of white shirt with black suit and black bottom. He never has the habit of having a tie around his neck unless it's an important meeting. He feels that the tie of very suffocating and will never opt it soon.

"Nandu" he called for her sitting on the dining table. Even though they have plenty of servants around them no one can meet the needs of manik because even if he wants a single glass of water he should get it from hands of nandini only.

"Yes" she came out with a glass of milk in her hand and seeing her drinking milk is the biggest shock for manik because she literally hates milk. But now she is drinking milk

"Nandu are you alright?? You hate milk and now you are drinking Milk" he asked while she started to serve him his breakfast. She looked at him with a smile on her face.

"Manik it's just that I am not feeling like to eat anything so I decided to adjust on this" she spoke and he nodded his head understanding her mood swings. They both had their breakfast with their little talks and soon they went to their office.

They entered their office and as soon as she entered nandini felt a weird sensation in her body and she ceased in her place. Manik felt the void beside him and looked back at her who is standing there all shocked.

"Are you fine Nandu?" He asked cupping her face and she looked at him. She felt cramps again in her lower abdomen but she decided not to tell him about it because he will be worried unnecessarily.

"Nothing manik just thinking something" she spoke and held his hand walking inside the office. He nodded his head at her and moved beside her. They entered the cabin and soon they immersed themselves in their work.

They both were immersed completely in their works when nandini started to feel headache due to the continuous work and even her mild cramps are not helping her. She held her head in her hands and this bought manik attention to her. He immediately stood from his place and moved close to her kneeling in front of her. He cupped her face and this made nandini open her eyes and look at him whose eyes were filled with full concern.

"Nandu you are not at all fine, go to house and rest" he spoke and she nodded her head in no. She cupped his face and spoke

"Manik this headache is due to continuous work and I think one coffee will work now and I will be fine" she spoke and manik looked at her with a confusing look.

"Don't look like that you idiot and still if I don't feel good after coffee I will tell you and go to home immediately ok?" He spoke and manik agreed to it immediately as finally she decided to take rest at any point. She was about to stand up so that she can get a coffee for herself but manik immediately kept his hands on her lap making her sit on her set again.

"I will get the coffee and go and wash your face" he spoke and she nodded her head in yes. He stood from his place and went out from the cabin while she entered the washroom which is attached to their cabin only. The washroom contains their clothes just in case they need and also their daily essentials used there. She washed her face and then decided to check whether she has to change her sanitary pad or not. When she checked she didn't find a single drop of bleeding which made her confused because generally in the first day the bleeding with be more which keep on increasing till third day which then decreases up to fifth day morning and ceases at the same night. She was thinking about this when she heard manik voice asking her to come out. She washed her hands again and went out.

"So here you go for your filter coffee" he spoke forwarding her favorite filter coffee to her. She smiled at him taking a sip of her coffee.

"You have to tell me for sure if you feel tired we both will go home as the work is almost over" he spoke and she looked at him for an excuse but she found his face with a stern expressions. She gulped and nodded her head in yes.

Soon they completed their coffee and resumed to their works. After some time she started to feel tiredness and she is feeling numb at some places. She then decided that she has to go home for rest. She doesn't have any more energy left for doing any work.

"Manik" she called him and he looked at her in a blink listening to her fired voice. Even her eyes showed her tiredness and manik don't need any more words to say. He immediately stood from his place shutting down his system. He went close to her and closed all her files and her system.

Before she could speak anything he took her in her arms in bridal style and went out from his cabin. All the employees were shocked to see them like this. Not that they don't know that they are married but they are a couple who will keep both their personal and professional life separate. They were about to think when they saw the full face of nandini and they understood that she is not fine. They all blessed the couple silently because they both care for each other more than anything.

Nandini held him tightly by her neck and buried her face in his neck. He smiled seeing her baby like antics and kissed her forehead. They soon reached the parking lot and he made her sit in the car and he took the driving seat.

Soon they reached home and manik being manik again took her in his arms and went directly to their bedroom. He slowly made her sleep in the bed and went down to the kitchen to bring some warm water and cloth. He came back to the bed room and locked the door.

He came and sat beside her on the bed and she smiled looking at him. He removed her top from her stomach and even opened her skirt a little down exposing her abdomen region. He dipped the cloth in the warm water and kept it on her abdomen to decrease her cramps to some extent.

This worked a lot and she felt relaxed instantly. Manik look then went forward to her foot which were looking like swelled. He after some time massaging her abdomen went to her foot and even did the same process with her. In this process without her intention nandini slept off. He smiled looking at her and fixed her dress.

But he saw her getting uncomfortable in that skirt which is hugging her abdomen so he decided to change her dress. He bought his t-shirt and shorts and made her wear them. She has the habit of wearing only his clothes during night and even he loved this habit of hers. After completing her changing he sat in the couch after changing himself into his casual wear and completed his remaining work and decided to cook some food for her.

He came down to the kitchen and cooked food for her which is none other than her favorite biryani. After continuous effort of two hours he was done with his cooking. So he moved to the bedroom to wake her for lunch.

"Nandu... Get up now" manik spoke in her ears and she smiled even in her sleep listening to his voice. She stirred a little bit but slept again and he knows how to wake her. So he went down again and served the biryani in the plate.

He bought the plate to their room and the smell made her wake up from her sleep in just little seconds. She sat on the bed in a jump smelling the biryani. He chuckled seeing her reaction.

"So finally this idea worked but a little faster than every time" he said and sat beside her to feed her. Soon they had their lunch and the rest of the day went in a blink for them because they spent the most of their time in chatting, being in each other's arms, cuddling and manik taking good care of nandini.

All the symptoms like tiredness, fatigue, cramps, headache are the primary symptoms of pregnancy which many people ignore thinking it's normal...

The next morning is same for manik and nandini. She woke up first and went to get freshened when she felt some movement in her uterus. Then there is a sudden cramp in her lower abdomen as if her uterus is stretching to give place for something in it.

She removed her clothes and was shocked because she didn't find herself bleeding again and after the two three drops yesterday there is no bleeding and she is no more confused because all these cramps and this lack of bleeding is not good for the health. So she decided to visit the doctor and know what is wrong with her. A girl can ignore her illness at any place but not at her vagina because if we ignore a single thing there then it leads to many complications without any invitation.

She turned on the shower and massaged her lower abdomen to ease the pain and she was successful to an extent. After she got done with her business she came out in a towel and went to her closet which is nearly arranged with her wide variety of clothes. She took a casual dress which will be comfortable for her to go to her checkup. She got herself dressed and turned towards manik to find him looking at her without blinking his eyes.

"What?" She asked him because she was not sure that what he saw that he is looking at her like an alien at her. He blinked his eyes and moved closer to her and made her stand in front of the mirror. He hugged her from behind kissing her cheek

"Have I ever told you how beautiful you look early in the morning while you get ready" he spoke and nandini understood what he saw. She blushed looking down but soon she composed herself and leaned onto his chest holding his hands on her waist.

"I don't want this minute to end... You and me like this is all I want" manik spoke and listening to his words nandini just smiled at him and kissed him on his heart. Manik then turned her around her and kissed her on her lips making her smile. They both were completely immersed in their kisses when manik hands moved towards her front body parts from her back. He touched her lower abdomen when he felt something moving inside her body.

He got confused with the movement and broke the kiss and he saw that nandini is almost breathless and this is another shock to him. They have kissed for nearly fifteen minutes without getting breathless and here they kissed for only two minutes and she is already breathless.

"Nandu there is something which is changing in your body I felt some movement on your abdomen and see you got breathless so easily with the kiss" he spoke with so much concern in his voice which made her smile to her core. She encircled her arms around his neck.

"It's just because of my periods and nothing more" she spoke assuring him or rather we can say that she is assuring herself because she can't let anything happen to her. Not that she is selfish for her life but she wants to bear a small life in her womb and so decided to care of it till she gave a birth to a baby.

There are many times when she used to get depressed because she is not giving birth to a baby. They are married since one and half year and still she didn't get conceived. Not that there is problem with them or they don't have any relationship between them. She never discussed this with manik because she knows he will not like this topic of discussion as he knows that this topic will make her weak. Seeing all these changes in her body there is a minute fear in her heart that she will not be able to conceive in her life and manik will always try to hide his pain from her.

"Hello what are you thinking" she heard manik voice bringing her out from her thoughts. She looked at him who is looking at her with concerned eyes so she just nodded her head in a no. Manik know there is something but she is not telling him and he also knew she will say to him soon so he decided not to pressure her.

"Ok go and get ready we will leave for office" he spoke to her and kissed her forehead before going to washroom to get fresh. She moved downstairs to make breakfast for both of them. He came down in less than 15 minutes in his formals wear and saw her still in her casual clothes instead of formals which made him confused

"Nandu, are you not coming to office now?" He asked her making her startled at his sudden voice. She composed herself and nodded her head in a no while he went to take water bottles from the refrigerator.

"Why?" He asked sipping water from the bottle. She closed her eyes gathering herself to tell him a lie so that he don't bother about her and don't take ant tension.

"I will rest till afternoon and will come in the afternoon session today with lunch as I am in a mood to cook food today" she spoke immersing herself and pretending as if her mood swings are in charge. Manik saw at her amused and shook his head in disbelief

"You and your weird mood swings and I don't know how I will tolerate them for my entire life" he spoke and she made a face looking at him, after eating his breakfast manik left from the house after bidding her bye.

"Hello priya you are free now??" nandini called her friend who is a gynecologist and when she got the positive answer from priya, nandini too rushed out from the house. Nandini drover herself to the hospital and she went to the reception there

"i have to meet Ms. Priya sharma" nandini asked the receptionist and she checked the availability of priya and when she that the doctor is free she gave nandini directions to go to her cabin

"so why did madam decided to visit me today?" priya asked nandini as soon as she saw her. Nandini gave a look to priya which is a sad one and priya immediately shut her mouth seeing her sad face.

"ok now tell me what is the problem?" priya asked nandini while making her sit in the chair before her while she sat on her seat.

"i don't know why but i am feeling many cramps, fatigue, headache now a days and even i got my periods one week before but after the initial two to three drops it's not at all bleeding but the cramps are increasing more" she spoke and priya got a silent indication of what nandini is feeling. Before she could jump to any conclusions she decided to send nandini to her senior who is expect in this.

"nandu come with me" priya spoke and she held nandini hand taking her to the senior doctor.

"mam this is nandini and nandu this is my senior doctor here Mrs. kapoor and she the best gynecologist here and please tell all the things you said to me to her" priya spoke to nandini and she left the room. The doctor introduced herself and soon they engaged themselves in the conversation and nandini told her problems again.

"Can you remember and tell me the color of the bleeding i mean it looked like normal or there is any color change?" she asked nandini and she thought for a second before answering the question

"Yeah it is somewhat brown in color" nandini spoke and the doctor smiled at nandini.

"Can you tell me whether you have any sexual intercourse near" she asked nandini as she also got the idea from her symptoms

"Yes doctor just two days back" nandini spoke with a slight blush but she kept it aside. The doctor nodded her head and then she asked nandini to come with her for some checkup. She made nandini lie on the bed and then she kept her hand on nandini uterus to feel any moments and when she felt then she smiled. She then checked the pulse of nandini which is high than required confirming her doubts but still for a final checkup she took her blood sample.

"nandini i think you are pregnant and if you want to confirm then wait till you get these reports which will not take more time i.e up to four hours so i think we will have to wait till then" the doctor declared and it fell as a bomb on nandini head. She is shocked, amused, stunned, happy and what not. Nandini not able to speak anything just nodded her head in yes. She then moved to priya room who is waiting for her

"so are you pregnant?" even priya asked the same question and nandini said the thing which the doctor has said.

"ok, don't worry wait here till then and even I don't have any work till afternoon so let's catch up with all the things" priya spoke and soon they got themselves busy in their talks. Nandini mobile ring made both them keep a stop to their ranting. She checked the caller and its manik, she knew if she answers the call now then she will say all the things to manik automatically which she don't want, and so she ignored his call.

"mam your reports are ready" the ward boy came and told them and soon nandini along with priya went inside the doctor cabin.

"congratulations nandini as I said you are pregnant" the doctor said and the happiness of nandini knew no bounds. she was about to speak when she remembered about the bleeding she faced yesterday.

"But doctor I had a bleeding yesterday" nandini spoke looking at the doctor in a confused way. She knew that when a person is pregnant she doesn't get bleeding only.

"That is implantation bleeding nandini... This occurs rarely in some people and this is the first sign of pregnancy and let me tell you that you got this sign and also there is nothing wrong in that... It's just your baby is making place for itself in your womb do she or he is throwing the blood out from there... generally it will last from hours to days and by the way I forgot you are entering into your third week of pregnancy and still you have more than 37 weeks left to bring a good person into the world" doctor spoke to nandini make her smile to full.

The time taken for fertilization of a sperm with the ovum is 6 to 14 days and the next ten days will be the time for implantation of the zygote in to the walls of the uterus.

"Thanks a lot doctor" nandini spoke and she hugged Priya. She decided to go and share this news to manik as soon as possible. As it's already 1:30 in the afternoon Priya insisted her to have lunch with her to which she agreed.

'have lunch and be free I have to talk to you' nandini sent a message to manik before she go to lunch with her friend.
