Painful Life As Wife

"Humph... this feels really boring!"

Brody is a man who is rich and full of taste, thanks to his efforts is able to reach the point where humans will be very jealous.

Brody casually drank wine from a clear cup.

"What are you cooking this?" he snapped.

Alice slowly approached the bowl, her pupils dilated looked inside the soup, and she became unsure about the taste. After seeing Brody's brutal attitude, she didn't want to taste the soup, as it was supposed to, but here she had to.

One spoon was lifted, then put into the mouth.

Brody glaring Alice who continued coughing several times.

"From your expression, you even admit this food is very salty!" said Brody with a tone of hatred. "I wonder, do you want to poison me with food like this?"

"N-No, I didn't mean to do this!" replied Alice in a low tone.

"Then you now go from here!" Brody's eyes then glanced at the watch on his hand that showed 7 in the morning. "Damn it, I have to go quickly!"

"This is your bag..." said Alice who was about to take the bag.

"No need!"

But, Brody had gotten ahead of her.

"Remember, don't make any more mistakes, or I will divorce you, here our marriage is only a contract until you are able to pay off your father's debts!" said Brody in an intimidating tone.

Alice just nodded languidly, and after it became silent. Alice's face only looked lethargic and withered.

She really wanted to say why this could happen, if possible she really wanted to repeat how this life should have happened, everything that was already too chaotic she had to go through with all of her abilities, even though she had tried many times.

But, failure will still come to her. Now, she is confused about what to do for a beautiful future.

The day has been so bad for Brody, his company has gone bankrupt due to an unprofitable stock sale.

Brody took a sip of alcohol in front of him to get rid of the headache from everything that had happened.

"I wonder, you're married, but why don't you just go straight home? You will be accepted and welcomed by your wife!

"Heh...don't joke, do you think I like that innocent woman? Here I only married her in the name of business, if it weren't for her parents who had debts, maybe I wouldn't have done it, and we were only limited to making an agreement to be my caretaker!"

"You are nothing, don't touch me!" Brody continued walking into the room.

Which wife would not feel sad about her husband's bad condition, just be silent in front of the food that has been provided.

Alice knew she wasn't loved, but at least she wanted to try to be a reliable wife.

Alice sighed at the events that just happened.

"I don't know what to do anymore, do I have to survive in this condition?" asked Alice while cleaning the floor.

"Y-Yeah?"

"How did I get here? Is there someone to accompany me?" asked Brody seriously.

She shook her head. "I don't know, Master has fallen in front of the door, just as I was about to open the door!" She replied in a low tone.

Didn't want her to look at Brody's face to get angry later.

"Is that so, go away! I'm sick of you!"

Alice rushed to go from there.

Brody took a sip of the coffee that Alice made, he couldn't deny that it had a very good taste.

Suddenly he remembered Roy's words that said Alice had a beautiful face and an innocent character.

Then Brody stood up and walked over to Alice.

1 hour Alice was forced to serve the brutal Brody, she even screamed every time Brody shook her body.

"Jeez, he's too stupid to do this!" muttered Roy who was looking at Brody from a distance. While drinking wine in a small cup, delicious and fresh taste.

A woman approached Roy, tall with a dress that showed several parts of her body so that make she looked charming.

"Good night, Mr. Roy!"

Her voice alone is seductive.

Roy smiled at the woman.

"Oh, is that you, Rebecca!"

Rebecca then sat beside Roy.

"I've received your message, you said before there was a rich customer! Where is he?"

Roy's finger pointed at Brody, who was dancing unsteadily.

"Oh... so that's the guy you're referring to?"

"Of course, who else?" Roy replied firmly.

Rebecca pursed her lips, disapproving of Brody's crazed figure.

"Why are you looking at him like that?" Spontaneously Roy asked so.

"Are you sure that I will be able to accompany that man? Doesn't he look like a weirdo?

Roy chuckled at that. "How strange, normally you wouldn't turn down anyone who would become a client! But, why are you rejecting someone like him right now? Have you tried changing your tastes so want to change?"

Rebecca was shocked. "What are you saying? I'm just saying this based on personal experience! Before this I had a client full of assholes, but no money! Are you going to pitch me with a client like that?"

Drink wine first, until he says, "How could I offer someone like that to you? You know that he's my partner, so the right person to make him more excited is the right person! Don't you want? If you don't want to do it, then I'll send someone else!"

Rebecca was more surprised by Roy's words. "Not yet, I'm just saying it! If he really is not a bad person, then I will do it!"

Dancing like crazy was done for 30 minutes, and now Brody's body felt very tired.

He approached Roy who was sitting alone with a drink in hand.

Brody instantly threw his body on the soft sofa.

"I'm really tired, Roy give me a drink!"

Roy poured wine into Brody's cup.

"Whoa! So refreshing, I didn't expect a night like this would be such a fun thing, who would have thought that it would be a fun day!"

Roy chuckled when he saw Brody's behavior, this afternoon he saw that man grumbling, and now he saw him like a madman who had been under the influence of alcohol.

"Hehehe... who would have thought that someone like him would be so easily attracted to something like this!"

"Huh... did you say something?" asked Brody who at this time turned his head, but what he saw was not Roy's boring face but a beautiful woman standing with a warm smile.

Brody gulped down his spit, he had never seen a woman as beautiful as that.

"Gentlemen, may I sit here?" asked Rebecca seductively.

"Of course, you can sit here!"

Roy even had to shift seats to let Rebecca be beside Brody.

"Good, now it seems Mr. Brody is starting to get excited! I feel sorry for his wife, how does she feel when sees a husband do this? Heh... how strange, but this is how life must be lived!" Roy gulped down the water in front of him with great pleasure.

Alice POV:

My eyes are almost sleepy, but I can't fall asleep just yet. In this house there is only me alone, no one else.

I know it's very strange not to have a security guard or helper guarding a house this big, but that's the fact, here the yard of the house is so wide, all see is the core of the house.

Around the area there is a wide field, and before getting there you have to go through an inspection first.

The guards are in a private room not too far from that location.

I'm just an unwanted wife, so I'm not allowed to go out before I get permission.

Even the security would instantly assume I was running away if I do that.

It's nearly 12 pm, and still no sign of Brody coming home. I just rested on my right hand, staring at the floor with a languid face.

Everything that's happened so far has been pretty tough.

"I don't have no strength to leave here! Really under all hard conditions, I can't even fight back!"

My ears suddenly heard the sound's door being knocked several times, my head immediately turned to the source of the sound.

Then straight my feet took a step towards the door, and as I expected, what was in front of my eyes was Brody with a strange man.

"Sorry, I came here to bring Mr. Brody!" Roy said kindly.

"Yes!"

Then I embraced Brody, his body heavy but I tried to hold on like nothing happened.

"Then I'll go first!" After saying that Roy walked away.

Smiling and smirking Roy saw Alice's face.

"To think that woman has such a pretty face! Huh... it's strange that a great person like Mr. Brody could hate her, but I can't understand what kind of personality that woman is! Here it is likely I will only become a hindrance to their lives!"

Stepped on the gas of the car to go fast on that deserted street, and here Roy's eyes kept remembering Alice's charming face.

Meanwhile, Brody who was carried by Alice into the room lay down instantly.

Alice tries hard to unbutton Brody's coat to comfort him in his sleep.

However, she smelled a strange scent from that man's clothes.
