Brillie's pov

I'm Brillie Starr, obviously the most craziest girl you've ever met or rather seen. I'm eighteen and the only child of my parents.

That's all for now.

It's my first day at Whitney's College and l'm pretty late. I ran as fast as my legs could carry to school.

I stood before the big gate sweating profusely and wiped balls of sweats outta my face.

I opened the gate and saw students hovering around. I actually thought l was late but l'm not, class hasn't even commenced yet.

My eyes moved to the building and l marvelled at the large school, I'm sure mama and papa must have worked so hard to place me in such a large school.

I think l will just have to find my class now. I brought out my map, gazing through it while walking.

I bumped into someone and brought down the map to apologise.

"I'm ... "

"Are you blind? Can't you watch where you are going? "She interrupted brutally and l grunted clenching my fist.

"Bi .. "

"Hold it right there swine! It'll better if you shut that gutter you call a mouth "I said with a scowl on my face.

I stared at her face and quivered.

"Geez ... You look more like a clown. I don't why some girls try to look beautiful when they are actually not "I uttered and walked away while the students laughed.

Now to find my class, I opened the map and bumped into someone again.

"What the hell ... "

"Omg! He looks so handsome, more like an angel "I thought, drooling not knowing l was actually saying it out.

"Crazy "he huffed and walked away.

"Yikes Brillie. You are such an asshole, do you always have to embarrass yourself "I thought and rubbed my palm down my face.

But he's really handsome and l think by bumping into him, we are destined for each other .

Oh mom and dad, thank you for placing me in this school cos l've just found my prince charming.

I grinned, opening the map and found my class.

Finding my prince charming just made my day good than ever!!.

Arya's pov

"What just happened? " My friend queried in a mocking tone as l fumed.

"The new girl called Arya a clown "The other girl giggled and l shot her a deadly stare.

"That wench just invited trouble for herself. I'm so gonna make her stay here hell ,"l grouched and turned to look at my friends who had evil smiles on their faces.

Brillie's pov

I placed my books in my locker and was about closing it when it fell.

I bent down to pick it up and someone stepped on my fingers.

"Ouch! "

I groaned loudly and stood up.

I looked up and saw the clown.

"So sorry "

She mocked and walked away.

"Bitch "

I cussed and sucked on my hurt fingers.

I bent down to pick the book when someone stepped on my fingers again and l fumed.

"You coward, l stepped on ... "

I stopped dead on my words as l looked up and saw him.

Ace's pov

She stopped talking the moment she looked up and saw me.

"Sorry for yelling. I thought you were someone else "She smiled.

But l thought l stepped on her, how come she's smiling?

"I'm obviously talking to my prince charming "l heard her say inaudibly and l furrowed my brows.

What did she just call me? ... Her prince charming, certainly not me.

"You know what? You are crazy "I grouched, irritably.

"I know "

Geez ... I've never seen such a crazy girl in my whole life. I shook my head and walked away.

Brillie's pov

Jeez ... Why is he always getting angry? He's kinda rude.

But l must admit, he's cute. You know, there's something I don't understand.

Why is it that cute guys got to get bad traits

"Arya, Believe it or not, the new girl's steal your crush "she said and l huffed

Impossible!

"You've been trying to get his attention but he doesn't spare you a glance. But on her first day, she's already talking to me "..

"That's gonna be for a matter of time "l smirked

"But l must say she's really cute and they look good together "she said and l shot her a deadly stare

Brillie's pov

I'm gonna find out his name and everything about him. I stepped into the class and met him sitting

Wooow! We are in the exact same class. Isn't that amazing?

I found an empty seat just before him and l sat down there

"Hey ... The guy sitting behind, what's his name? "I asked the blonde hair girl sitting beside me

"Oh ... That's Ace " she said and my eyes widened in excitement

"Who's he? "

I asked

"His dad owns this college "

She said

"You've got a crush on him? "She suddenly asked and l shook my head

"I'd suggest you don't cos Arya also has a crush on him " she said

"Who the hell has a crush on my prince charming? "I thought, fuming but kept my cool

I asked

Just then, the door squeaked open and the wench walked in

"Her "

"So she's Arya? "

I smirked

Arya's pov

She's sitting before Ace and l certainly can't allow her sit there

I walked to the spot as she glared at me

"That's my seat you are sitting on "

I grouched and she hissed loudly

"Does it have your name on it? "

She ridiculed and the students laughed

I felt really embarrass but that wouldn't stop me from giving her a taste of her own medicine.

I held the chair and swing it making her fall on the bare floor and l sat down.

Brillie's pov

I tightened my fist as l got literally angered.

This Arya of a girl has pressed the demon's button and she's gonna get the last of me.

I stood up angrily and gave her a deadly stare but she eyed me and hissed loudly before looking away.

"She's still showing off after what she's done. I think l'm done putting up with this clown. l will teach her a lesson she will never forget "l smirked.

I pushed her swiftly making her fall off the chair and landed on the floor heavily.

"How dare you?! " She yelle, clearly in pain and l exited the class.

I packed a handful of sand and rushed in again. I charged towards her and poured it on her face.

"Omg!! "

She yelled and she stumbled up, rubbing her eyes and tried running away but l launched her back on the floor pulling her by the hair and she winced loudly.

"You think you mess with me, huh? Well, sorry to burst your bubble, am not those timid girls you can mess with "I rasped as l gave her the beating of her life.

"I ain't done yet! "l yelled as l felt grips on my arm and was being pulled away from her.

I struggled outta their grips and adjusted my rumbld shirt. I looked at her and chuckled at seeing what l did to her

She had a few bruises and looked haggard.

"Now l know you don't need makeup to play king Kong's role in a movie "I said in a mocking tone and another round of laughter filled the air.

"What the hell is going on here? "I turned on hearing that and realized it was a teacher.

"Why were you guys fighting? "The teacher asked in a serious tone.

The teacher found out we were in a fight and summoned us to her office.

"Ma'am, she started it "l yelled pointing at Arya.

"No ma'am, she started it "she said pointing at me also.

Her face was all cleaned up now .

I turned to look at the teacher

"She's lying "..

"She pushed me off a chair claiming it's hers when her name wasn't even written on it "l squealed and turned to look at Arya so she could tell her own side of the story but she kept mute.

"Sir, it's my first day in this college and she's already a thorn in my flesh! "I yelped.

"You shouldn't done that Arya so far she sat on it first "she reprimanded Arya and l smiled.

"She's a new student and you are suppose to accommodate her not fight with her and l urge to do that from now on, Understood? "She added and Arya nodded reluctantly.

"And you Brillie, learn to control your anger and one more thing, fighting is strictly against the school's rules, get that? "she said and l nodded, affirmatively.

"Dismissed! "

She said in an authoritative tone and we moved outside.

"This isn't the end, Brillie. I'm gonna make sure you pay dearly for this "she scorned and walked away angrily.

College has finally closed for the day and l was busy looking for Ace amongst the students moving outta the school.

I found him and was about to run so l could catch up with him when Arya stood in the way.

"Where do you think you are going? "She asked with her friends behind her.

I wonder where they were when Arya was beaten up by me.

"None of your business, clown! "l said and walked away.

"Gosh .. l've lost him "l said when l couldn't find him any longer.

I scratched my head thinking of what to do next and settled on having a milkshake before leaving.

I bought it and moved upstairs while sipping from it. I stood at school's balcony looking frustrated.

How could l have lost my prince charming? I threw the milkshake away frustrated.

"Who did that? "I heard and looked down quickly.

Omg! The milkshake poured out on someone. The person looked up and it was Ace and l could see he was really infuriated.

I walked backwards to avoid his glare and looked down again to find his spot empty.

Omg! I think he's coming here.

Ace's pov

I got really infuriated as l saw the person who spilled milkshake on me.

I'm pretty sure she did this intentionally cos l've been ignoring her.

I stormed upstairs and glared at her the moment l got there.

"I'm sorry "she pleaded and tried wiping off using her handkerchief but l flinged her hand away.

"Don't pretend like you didn't do this intentionally. I'm certain you did this cos you wanted to exact revenge, right? "....

"If you are trying to get my attention, you can't cause l don't mingle with crazy girls "l deadpanned and walked away.

Dammit! I don't know why girls can be so dramatic. She spilled coffee on me intentionally and pretended it wasn't done on purpose.

Brillie's pov

Geez ... Why's he infuriating like l beat him up or something.

It was just milkshake that was spilled on him and it was not even on purpose.

He's obviously thinking l wanted to get his attention.

Like seriously?!!

Wait a sec ... What does he actually think of himself just because he's got a handsome face and great physique shouldn't get him all proud and wanna think all girls want his attention.

I blinked several times, the manner at which he yelled at me reoccurring in my head.

"Good afternoon mom "l greeted as l entered our cottage.

"How are you, my baby girl? "Mom smiled at seeing me.

"I'm fine mom"

I sunk on the couch.

"So how was your first day at college? "

She asked.

"Where's dad? "

I asked in an attempt to avoid her question.

My first day was really bad and l wouldn't want to tell her about it.

"He's gone for some urgent work and will be back soon "she paused.

"Here he comes "she said pointing at the doorway and l tilt my head to the side.

I stood up.

"Daddy "l squealed as l ran to hug him

I've always loved my dad more than my mom. He isn't harsh unlike mom, she's so harsh.

And he considers me as an angel

"Good afternoon daddy "

"Good afternoon angel. So how's your new college, hope you like it? "He asked

"I love it daddy. It's so large and l know you worked really hard to put me in such a large school. Thank you Daddy "l beamed and pecked his cheek.

"Hope you won't fight in this new college of yours? "He rolled his eyes and l chuckled.

"You know me too well daddy. I did fight today but she didn't end up in the hospital this time around "l itched my head.

"Hmm. I can see my angelic daughter is trying to steal my darling husband "my mom teased walking towards us and we laughed.

She smooched my dad and then hugged him while l stared at them .

"What the hell are you staring at? "

My mom lashed at me.

"Nothing mom. I was just thinking ... Don't you think we should add one more person to the family "..

"What? "They yelled and exchanged glances.

"Just joking mom "l laughed and heaved a sigh.

Suddenly, there was a stampede, more like a chaos. People were running to and fro and gunshots were heard simultaneously.

"OMG! What the hell is happening? "I quivered as l looked at Ace and gasped.

He was actually lying on the floor blood gushing outta his chest.

"Noooo "l yelled as l rose up from the bed sweating profusely and breathing hard.

Gosh! It was only a mere dream nothing else "l took in a deep breath, rubbing my sleepy eyes.

Ace doesn't like me and won't ever think of marrying me tho l hate him.

Maybe that's why l'm having bad dreams of him.

"I should probably go get ready for school. It's morning already "I mumbled as l looked outta the window.

I climbed down from my mini bed, moving to the bathroom.

I wore my undies and put on a strawberry crop top and crazed jeans and combed my hair to fall freely.

I slung my bag over my shoulder and exited my room heading to the dinning area.

I arrived at the living room and smiled at sniffed the aroma of pancakes that filled the air.

"Good morning, mom. What's for breakfast? "I asked tho l knew what it was.

"Pancakes "she said and l settled down on the chair.

She served me some pancakes and l grinned at her before she left for the kitchen.

"Thanks Mom "

I said and munched on the pancakes and they tasted really yummy.

"Mom, Where's dad? "

I asked.

"Oh. He's asleep "

She said.

"Dad doesn't sleep late "l thought and smiled naughtily, afterwards.

Maybe dad did his husbandly duties last night.

"What are ... "

"Anyways, l'm off to school "

I interrupted her cos l know what she was going to ask me.

I pushed the plate aside and stood up.

"Here "

Mom said giving me a glass of milk and l gulped down the whole content.

"Thanks Mom "l waved and walked out of the house.

"Bye angel "l heard her yell and l smiled.

I stood at the gate and gulped down, nervously and in deep thoughts.

What if l get into any argument with Ace this time around?

Mere seeing him after doing what l did yesterday make shivers run down my spine.

I shook my head.

I stood on the school's balcony thinking about what happened between l and Brillie yesterday.

I don't know why l'm feeling so sorry for her but l shouldn't have yelled at Brille.

Maybe she didn't do it intentionally, it must have been by mistake and now, l'm feeling guilty.

Just then, l saw Brillie walking towards me and looking as beautiful as ever.

Goodness! That look was terrifying. If looks could kill, l would be thirty feet underground right now.

I'm sure he must be thinking why l gave me such a angry stare. He's so haughty and arrongant.

If only he could just apologize then l'll love him more than ever but now, l hate him.

I walked to my seat and sat down feeling uncomfortable cos every eye was glued on me.

I wonder why they are staring.

Ace finally came to the class and stared at me as l walked to his seat. I felt him sit down and his eyes all over me.

A teacher came in to the class and began teaching and l took in a deep breath, pretty sure Ace's gaze isn't on me anymore.

I placed my head on the desk as my mind drifted back to the dream l had last night.

The class and others ended and we all moved outta the class. I walked to the cafeteria and didn't bother getting lunch since l'm not hungry.

I'll just have to save the money. I walked to the nearest table and sat down.

"Mind if l join you? "I heard and looked up.

To my surprise, it was Ace.

"What's he doing here? "I thought within me and gazed up at him again.

"I don't mind "l feigned a hoarse voice and he sat down.

"Actually ..."

He drawled nervously while l chuckled silently.

He looks so nervous and it make me wanna laugh out loud.

"Ummm ... I'm sorry for yelling at you, l did all that in a fit of rage. I don't know why l got so angry and l'm really sorry "he mumbled and l smiled.

I beamed an 'I forgive you' and he smiled, his dimples popping out.

An idea popped up.

I rushed to the class and took a water flask and moved to the school's balcony .

I poured the water at the spot l knew they would walk on and hid behind a pillar when l heard their voices coming closer .

Brillie tripped but Ace was swift to hold her before she could fall and my jaw dropped.
