The only thing that could save her was the cold drink in the deep freezer a few steps away.

The weather that day was very frustrating and tiring as she struggled in the big and long historical dress and also the fake pregnancy in her belly that will be used for the next scene she's going to act in.

Cecilia was cast as an extra in this play, but she only got two scenes, and those two scenes were the ones where she had to pretend to be a pregnant woman for the entire day.

She hurriedly rushed to the deep freezer and was about to open it when a hand stopped her.

The same movie also has Nathaniel Jones as an actor. Cecilia has feelings for him because he is her childhood friend.

She stood up gently and left the hall after being shamed.

The shooting resumed after a few minutes, and when it was Cecilia's turn, the spectators and crew burst out laughing.

The girl is trying to get Nathaniel's attention, one of them said audibly so that she could hear.The lady kept shut immediately after Cecilia shot her a daggerd glance.

A dazzling red sports car zoomed towards Cecilia after she waved down a taxi after the shooting.

Her heart thumped, and she retreated a few steps back.

The red sports car brushed over her clothes and stopped abruptly, making a screeching sound from the brakes.

After regaining her balance, Cecilia's heart almost stopped when she saw a woman in a white body hugging short gown that barely reached her knee and emerged from it. It turned out to be her sister Carina Carter.

"You again, Carina? She asked, "What is that?"How are you doing after your fake fall earlier today? Are you still irritated that Nathaniel didn't pay attention to you? Carina made a joke.

Cecilia didn't respond and left, but Carina blocked her again... Just then, Nathaniel came out and met them as well.

"Don't you say you hurt your legs earlier? Nathaniel asked, and Carina jumped up again, letting out a fake cry... "Nathaniel, Cecilia pushed me down now," she cried.

I just remembered tomorrow is your birthday and we might not see each other so Happy birthday" he said and joined Carina in the car then rode off.

Cecilia fell on her knees and fainted.

At an empty corridor at drunk statue bar.

Some movie producers who were present at Carina's birthday as well as her own birthday had been drinking all night.

A throbbing headache had her looking for a serene spot to refresh her mind. She was surprised, however, when Rita stepped in front of her. She only had enough energy to deal with her.

"Cecilia, I would like to ask you a question: did you register to audition for the second female lead in the movie 'Tears of the Sun'?

"You can't audition tomorrow, nope". Manager Rita responded with a smile.

Her manager Miss Rita is stopping her from auditioning for a role that any other actress could die for. Cecilia was not surprised by this, and instead asked, "And what makes you think I shouldn't go there tomorrow?"

She heard a strange sound amid her scattered thoughts. Was that a mouse, or what?

The sound led her to follow the direction of the sound, and she was astonished to find a white figure buried beneath the empty beer bottles.

She looked about five or six, like a cute little bun, white as Jade.

Cecilia was surprised to find... She could even nag in this condition. She picked the girl up and placed her in her arms and cuddle her gently.

With the expensive clothes she was wearing, one would know her parents are rich and with the sweet scent of male shampoo on her hair it could be guessed that she uses her father's shampoo.

After cuddling her for sometime, the little girl cheered up a little bit and they both say down together. "Miss, how come you're here? She asked

"You should refer to older females as Big sister not Miss" Cecilia replied

"You can still lecture me in this condition? You should find how we should get out of here not to be asking me questions" The little girl bluntly said.

Cecilia was surprised, she didn't expect that she could talk so much.

The both adult and child fell into an abyss of silence, at this moment, the light bulb in the room flashed briefly the went out again.

Cecilia noticed that the little girl clanged to her more closer.... "Scared of the dark?

She quickly loosed her grip on Cecilia, "Who told you that I am scared? Cecilia smiled.

After sitting together for some time, Cecilia could hear little snores beside her. The cute little thing next to her was asleep.

Cecilia breathed heavily, feeling clueless and with a numb brain. She couldn't think of anything. Miss Rita was determined to keep her locked up until the end of the audition. Based on the time she had spent there, Cecilia guessed it was midnight. Eventually, she fell asleep as well.

Cecilia woke up to the sound of grunts coming from the little thing beside her. She found her sprawled on the floor. When she touched her body, she realized she had a high fever.

"Did you catch a fever?" While anxiously worrying about the time, Cecilia noticed a faint light illuminating the room despite the darkness. Raising her head, she discovered a small skylight through which the light was entering.

Cecilia looked around the storeroom and found a ladder. She moved it towards the window.

"Little girl, come over. I'll help you out."

The little lady dragged herself up and looked at Cecilia with cute puppy eyes, which Cecilia understood.

"Heh, you're quite loyal after we've suffered together. Go... this window is too small for me to pass...when you get out, find someone to save me too. Are we even now? She asked with a smile.

Her gentle nod assured Cecilia and sent her out through the window, Cecilia felt Dizzy then again she fell down.

From the edge of the window, Little Lady saw this scene and she ran panicking to get someone to save her helper.

Cecilia held on to the last ounce of breath in her and said "Go."

The hazy morning light made the woman's skin pale and fragile, but it didn't hide her stunning beauty.

Her brown eyes that looked like a sea with floating stars were especially striking.

She wasn't her stepmother's puppet or Carina's helper anymore.

What use was that of now?? Cecilia's expression was bitter. She cannot imagine that she will die this brutally without taking revenge on Carina and her wicked stepmother.

The head bartender, manager, waitstaff, security, bar men, and all the other related staff looked at them with a face that hinted at the impending disaster.

The door of the reception room suddenly sounded like a knock, the manager who was close to the door opened it and was pleasantly surprised to find their young mistress standing at the door. "Young lady," she exclaimed.

"Nicki.... " Nicki!?!? Where are you? Big Brother had been worried, and Seth crawled from his kneeling position and embraced the little girl before him emotionally, as tears ran down his face.

Everyone in the room let out a huge sigh of relief at having survived death.

Fast strides brought Japheth to the door, pulling Seth away from her, and hugging her.

"What happened Nicki?" Japheth Ramos smelled the strong scent of alcohol from his body as he got closer to his daughter.

The scent was more like a flower that had exploded on a glacier than the pungent smell of a perfume.

His heart skipped a beat for a moment as he caught a whiff of the cool fragrance permeating the air. Japheth Ramos stood still, his attention caught by the sight of his daughter, Nicki, pointing anxiously in a certain direction and making urgent sounds.
