Chapter. 1

Morris Taiwo is a medical doctor who owned his own clinic, Morris clinic happened to be one of the biggest in Wuse 2. He is the most experienced, diligent doctor anyone could ever know. Morris, had married his wife Lucy and she is extremely gorgeous. Her beauty could turn heads and mesmerized the men, anywhere she stepped into. She is a lawyer and graduated with first class abroad, and expert in her field. Morris came back from work that evening, so tired and stressed. Lucy was already home in the kitchen, preparing dinner for the husband. Their marriage is just two years and they ain't both ready for kids, until they finished their mansion he's building, while still living in their 4 bedroom duplex.

Morris packed his Benz inside the compound, tossed the key to the driver, cause he was driving. He sometimes loves to drive himself to work or back, even when the driver is with him, though. He call it exercise, to relax nerves and clear the head. When he's driving and exercising while meditating and allowing the AC, blow into the brain, according to doctor Morris. On his way back home, his ex kept blowing up his phone with calls and messages. His phone consistently kept buzzing until he got home, while he totally ignored the calls, and the messages. He could perceived the aroma of the deliciously palatable delicacy, his wife was making as it filled the air when he stepped in. He stood by the kitchen door, smiling romantically at her and her big curves, though.

"Hey baby, my sugar, how was your day today and what are you doing to me today?. The way I'm perceiving this, it's like you're ready to finish me with food, and "food". You know, the desert after this food and that could be the best for me now, infact I think, I think the desert first. So you tell me about your day today, who did you and your judge send to prison today again. As my legal counsel, please do tell..." Morris said enthusiastically smiling at his wife and grabbing her waist

"Okay my love, but first you tell me about yours and how many of those beautiful ladies, you examine today. I mean, who had BP, cardiac arrest and breast lumps that you touch and feel and examine. "Alright, alright, fine my love, so who's being calling you like that. I mean, your phone has being buzzing ever since you got in, is it work or a patient?. Are you on call or something?. Do they need you at the hospital, you should check the calls and messages. Please don't let anybody die on you my love, you know, our both profession is to save lives and not to lose them. If it's hospital, please you should check and go see if it's an emergency. And by the way my love, we have a hearing tomorrow in court and it's going to be tough. Cause this case is a tough one, a politician son and I bet you know him. Senator Charlie Brown, his son came back abroad and throw one lavish party and a girl was found dêâd, in his bedroom. Sugar, you should go and take a shower first because I don't like you like this, you know..." Lucy said, as she was taking food to the dinning

He sighed and was all smiley. "Oh my goodness, really?. These young boys oh God, I bet he has a hand in her dēáth, the boy is on drugs so what do you expect. Baby please, this is a strong case and you have gotta be careful. I don't want anyone threatening you and and anything happening to you, sometimes I wonder how you do it. You always win and come back with a crown, but I'm always scared for you in most strong cases like this. Please always be careful, most of these politicians are deadly and you should be extremely cautious. I should go up and take a shower, and by the way I have something to tell you when I'm down..." He said as he was climbing the stares

She chuckled. "My love, you know I've won stronger and most complicated cases than this, so you needn't worry. Just go and finish up quick please, because I am really hungry and I need to be in the study in an hour. Tomorrow is going to be a tough day, so I gotta put on my armour and get set for it so, hurry up, you. You haven't told me what you did today baby, so I'll know about your day honey..." Lucy said while serving the food

"But I'll have desert after the food, cause that's my best part of the food baby..." Morris teased climbing up

"You such a naughty crazy ãss boy, make sure you check those calls, if they're emergency from the office, honey..." She replied in a loud voice

Morris was upstairs in their large, massive master bedroom tossing around and staring at his phone. It kept buzzing, when he checked again and saw it was "Linda " on the call, he hissed and sighed heavily. He went into the bathroom and stared up, he stood in the shower, with his head facing up and the water springing out and pouring in his face. His hands in akimbo as he overheard the phone, kept buzzing out loudly. He thought he heard a footstep climbing up when he jumped out of the bathroom and, grasp panting heavily with wet body.

Morris reluctantly came downstairs for dinner, but had a smirk, when his wife tried to teased him at the dinning. He reconnected with his ex at the hospital, in his clinic a few days back, as she told him he was highly recommended as a great gynecologist. Linda was a woman he loved so much, but he left and broke his heart and found his soulmate in Lucy. They both loved each other so much, they both exchanged contact as his doctor but not for any other reason. He, love his wife so much, he only agreed to go out with her once after official hour. So he will tell her he's happy, seeing her emotions was all over the place for him, when she saw how rich he's become. Linda had stopped calling ever since, he thought he could handle it and didn't wanna stress his wife. He tried to tell her that, he's very happy with his family, especially with his wife but Linda wouldn't give him a chance.

At the dinning his phone kept buzzing, he turned it upside down and later, covered it's face on the table. Lucy saw in his face that he was bothered, knowing her husband, she knew when something was bothering him. She didn't be so persuasive, neither didn't wanna sway him of his thoughts. Lucy had an official call and excused him to move away from the table a little, it was about the court hearing tomorrow she was preparing for. When she came back, she saw him staring at the phone caller, unbeknownst to him she was watching. She cleared her throat, Lucy knew him to be such an emotional person especially when he's loss a patient.

"My love, obim, please tell me you've not loss a patient that got you this sad. Please tell me, and if it's from the hospital please pick up and go see what emergency, if they're having any problems..." Lucy said trying to add more chicken to his plate

"Of course sugar, my love don't bother, I'll call doctor Chuck's and see what's going on. This calls is becoming too much, I just left them and there was no emergency. Could it be something happened, maybe when I left,but I trust doctor Chucks to handle things. I didn't want to be on call tonight, I wanted to spend it with you and give you strength for tomorrow..." He replied with a sad look

"I understand honey, but you know our motto, right? Saving life first. Our both jobs is to save lives or save people anyhow, please just go and find out what the matter is. I don't want you to regret tomorrow, and if anything happened today. Maybe you've loss a patient? Oh no, my love please don't tell me you've loss a patient, I know how you do feel about that. Please don't beat yourself up, we both know you and your medical team tried your best to save that life. Please don't cry, I think you should pick those calls and go to the hospital. Go see for yourself, please finish up your dinner and go to the hospital..." She said, trying to cheer him up with a smile

He sighed heavily. "I'll go baby, I'm sorry for ruining our night and I'll come back and be with you. We will be in that study together, I won't be in mine but yours, this is another tough case and I truly trust my baby to handle it. You will do me well, but I'm scared for you and that's the truth. That's the main reason why I'm like this, I don't want them politicians to come after you should they lose to you. That's why I'm worried, please promise me to be extremely cautious..." Morris said, holding her one hand tightened to his grip.

"It's fine my love, just worry about yourself and not me. I'm more worried about you, because I know something happened at the hospital today, hence, your mood. Please you have to pick those calls and go if there's any emergency..." Lucy replied as she kissed him

"Thank you my love, I'll finish up so I can go, but I'll still have my desert before I leave..." He became sarcasm

"Oh you, what is wrong with you, boy, just go get dressed and I'll meet you up. I bet you wouldn't leave, without having that desert..." Lucy replied with a smile

He was already getting dressed when Lucy finished having dinner, cleared up the table and kitchen. She rushed upstairs to cheer him up and was happy, he was already dressed. She choose the slippers he was going to wear for him. The phone kept buzzing, he tactically slide his phones and silent them into his pocket. He walked majestically, handsomely to his wife, as if nothing was bothering him. They hugged and kissed passionately, she walked him downstairs. While praying for him silently, asked God to give him wisdom to save any life he will meet there, if there's any emergency. He asked his driver to go back to sleep as he was ready to drive himself. They waved at each other, smiling into the car and ignited the car engine.

"I love you very much my love, and anytime you are having difficulties and don't know what to do. Just call on God, remember our love and my smiley face and let God do the rest. I love you very much honey, and please keep me updated..." She said with a hug

"I love you with every ounce of bløôd and all will be well. Don't worry, I'll call you tonight the moment I arrive at the hospital..." He replied and winked at him

Chapter. 3

Morris drove in race speed while texting Linda that they need to see, he asked him where will be convenient. She replied the text with her house address, Morris really wanted to see her so he could end things with her. When he arrived at her gate, he blew the horn and one of their neighbors came to help with the gate. He drove in speedily, and jumped out of the car with force. He called her and she gave him directions to her apartment, as he walked through the the passage a neighbor was watching. Unbeknownst to him, one of the neighbors was his wife's junior colleague, but she wasn't so loquacious. He knocked at her door and she opened, when he stepped into her house, his eyes was scanning through the house. Which just then as he was pacing around angrily and devastating, his eyes bumped into a picture in her wall.

It was Linda's picture portrait and her husband, he didn't know Linda was married too. He smirked, turned to Linda emotionally and called her in a low but husky voice. He tried to control his emotions, his eyes was beeming with tears because he loved her very much back then. She walked majestically to kissed him, he flipped, and moved to the other side. He tucked his hands in his pocket, his handsome face was baby..ish. He stood there, tall and cute staring at her beautiful face as though it was in the past.

"Linda, please tell me, what do you want?. You are married and you want to get me into trouble?. You want to get me into trouble, with my wife and blowing up my phone?. Why are you doing this, when you coincidentally came to my clinic and saw it was me. I told you, I've been three years in marriage, and since you left me because I wasn't that rich snd as wealthy as I am now. You got married to that guy you were cheating on me with, so what do you want with me and my family now?..." He asked in an emotional voice

"I just want us to talk, I am married but I can't say I'm happy because it's only you, and has always been you. I missed you and everyday I hoped to see you again to make things right, to get you back, to tell you how sorry I am. But God favored me by bringing me to your big clinic. I've always known you will become great and big, but what I didn't know was, that time won't be with me. Please, I'm sorry and I want us to at least be friends and go back to the way things used to be, please..." Linda said, twisting her head and tilted it backwards

"What? You must be out of your mind, Linda, you left me when I was trying to get myself together. My wife, helped me to become who I am now and all thanks to her unconditional love, Linda please stop calling me. My wife is too wonderful and amazing to be hurt like this, don't make me do something..." Morris said in a sad tone

"And that's why I want to make it right, now, I've never stopped loving you, I've missed you and it's only you. Morris, baby, you know you are the only that can make love to me that makes me feel like a woman..." She said moving closer

He sighed as tears welled up in his eyes. "Linda, please, stop it please, don't do this to me. I love you but I love my wife and she's everything you never was and will be. I still love you but I am married, I'm in love with my wife everyday. I loved you with everything and I wasn't poor neither, I was trying to build myself and you weren't patient enough. So what do you want from me, do you want me to destroy my home?. Linda please stop it..." Morris said

"Baby, yes, we're both married but one of us isn't happy and we can go back to the way things were. Nobody will know, I can't have anyone kissed me the way you do, and not even my husband can touch me. Not even my husband, can make love to me the way you do, please come back to me and we still love each other. You still love me, right?..." Linda said as she began to caress him

"Linda, please stop it, I'm begging you please don't do this to me. I love you but we're both married, and if you're not happy in your marriage I am utterly happy. My wife doesn't deserve this because I can't resist this, please help me and I came here to tell you that I've forgiven you. I owe nothing against you, please stop blowing up my phone cause my wife is beginning to ask questions. She's a great person, a wonderful woman and I love her, I love her so so much. Don't let me do this to my wife and please stop saying those things, because I still love you but it's my wife I love now..." Morris said, gasping for breathe tearfully

"I'm sorry I left you back then but we can still start or rather, continue from where we stop. Ever since I got married, my husband is hardly around because of the nature of his job. I'm always lonely, very sad and even if he's around he barely touched me but working. And even if we make love, he doesn't make love to me the way you do and touch me and kissed me like you. And I wonder, have I made a mistake and I know you were the man for me, just hold me please..." Linda said, trying to grab his hands and wrap it around her waist

"Stop it please, don't do this to me please Linda, we're both married. I am happy with my wife and you can try to be happy with your husband and home. I still love you, Linda but I love my wife more and she's my everything, I've never loved any woman like you. You know, when you left me, I was so hurt, so heartbroken ans devastated. But my wife found me, stood by me and made me become the man I am now and man I've always dreamt of. She's like my rock, and I can't hurt her like this please I beg you because I can't hold myself much longer with you..." Morris said, trying to force himself backwards as tears continue to stream down his face.

"I'm sorry, baby please I'm sorry, I'm so sorry and I regret everything now. Please just make love to me, just once and I won't bother you again. To show you've forgiven me and you don't hate me anymore, please and you still love me like I know you do..." Linda said, trying to take off her clothes

Morris gasp and screamed. "No no, I love you, Linda, but no, no, no, please don't do this and I forgive you. I love you and I still do love you, but not as much as I love my wife, please don't make me do this please..." He screamed tearfully

"I only came here to tell you to stop bugging me, you're budging and stop calling my phone. I love my wife and I'm very happy in my marriage, please don't make me do this. Whatever happened, it's in the past and nothing can ever happen between us. But please stop doing this to me, don't take that clothes off please I beg you..." He pleaded tearfully and emotionally as Linda tried to kiss him
