I came out of the shower and momo was already sleeping....I checked my phone and just like i thought,it was him( Marvin) my today's customer...he has really called me three times...am really doomed.

My boss at the restaurant made me work over time today and now am running late....hope this guy doesn't change his mind cause i really need this money so bad cause all my bills are due.

My name is Marlena Williams and i work as a waitress at some restaurant and at night i sell my body at night cause am a bread winner back at home and those guys always call in asking for different favors and am too soft to say no cause they were once there for me when I was still young so i think its my turn to take care of them now especially my parents who can nolonger over work.

I always get my night clients from my friend Marble who introduced me to the business...she forwards my contact to them and they call or text me the address where to find them that night.....basically that's my routine for the day.

I sat on the bed in disappointment and I was planning to call marble when i heard someone on the door.

I was putting on a short black leather dress which was strapless and a black blazer.

I found my roomie in deep sleep and i tried pulling the covers up to her shoulders so that she doesn't get cold...I checked the fridge and got some milk cause i was seriously starving...so after taking some milk,i hit the bathroom and took a quick shower before entering my bed.

In the morning i was woken up by momo's voice.

"hey wake up..its getting late unless you want to start from scratch and search for a new job." She screamed at me and there's no way i could stay sleeping after hearing her voice.

I always want to go with her in the morning cause she normally pays for the cab when we go together but now i over slept and she has left me behind..she works as a secretary at some law firm.

I got done with dressing up and had some few sips on milk so that i don't move on an empty stomach this early morning...so i rushed outside and since am alone it would be wise to use the subway cause its cheaper but am already late so i have to bare with the consequences so i called a cab.

I reached the restaurant where i work from and thank God my boss wasn't there yet otherwise i would be in big trouble right now cause that lady can scold you infront of anyone without minding who is watching you...So i quickly ran inside through the back door and changed into my uniform and then i started working cause we were kinda busy...people came in for breakfast and so i started taking their orders and clearing the tables as usual.

There's this one workmate who is so annoying in such a way that he always wants to help me,offer things to me and so on and so forth...he one day confessed his feelings to me but i just feel pity for him cause i don't want to break his heart and at the same time amnot into this lovey dovey kind of thing...he is so sweet but he deserves better and hope he sees it one day and he leaves me alone.

We went ahead and worked then our lunch break reached and i was seriously starving cause i didn't have a proper break fast in the morning and just like always,this sweet workmate bought me lunch and I couldn't say no to it cause i really needed it.

"of course not...i would be too dumb to go out with my 'stupid curly hair'...haha" I replied her in the same manner.

she also laughed at me after saying that statement.

"good...so just relax cause i don't think he can recognize you....anyways bye i don't want to get fired when i get caught talking on phone." she even hanged up before i replied haha...this girl is something else.

I put back my phone and i peeped to see if they're still there and yes they were.

"hey why are you peeping??" this sweet boy's voice made me stand straight and pretend like i was doing nothing.

"sorry what did you say??"I asked him while pretending to put some hair strands behind my ear and i avoided making eye contact with him.

"okay anything for you.(smiles)" He replied to me.

After he had left i sighed and sat down on the floor cause I was completely relieved.

I checked my phone and I was in total shoke to see that forty minutes have passed ever since i was sitting down there on the floor and i guess it was just my lucky day cause if my boss found me by any chance,then i wouldn't like it for sure.

So i got up and peeped again,this boy was coming my way with a tray which means those guys have finished eating.

"hey have they left??" I asked with my eyes looking straight in his.

"what do you mean by they??" while placing the tray on the counter.

" uhm i mean those guys who had a meeting here...are they done??" I asked him again.

"ohh them!! yah they're done and they have just left." He replied.

I went back in the restaurant and continued to work on other customers and when evening reached and it was time to get off work, i changed back in my clothes and left the restaurant..I was on the road waiting for a cab and i was just praying it gets here on time cause according to the clouds up in the sky,it seems like its going to rain anytime from now and it had even started releasing some lightining...my eyes were On the road waiting for this cab when this boy I work with pulled over infront of me and offered me a ride...He started hooting at me and even lowered the mirror to talk to me....now its at this point that i started wishing that i had taken the subway in the first place cause i wouldn't want to go back home in his car...dang it!!!

I hate it when someone insists on doing me a favor and am too weak to say no....of course i walked to the other side of the car and sat in.

I really dont like people to get attached to me in any way cause I definitely know how it will end when they learn about my other night job besides being a waitress at the restaurant....so even though he saved me today,i wouldn't want to be friends with him cause if we become friends,we have to tell each other our secrets and am not ready for any of that.

I gave him my address but of course I gave him the wrong one of just two blocks away from where i stay so that incase he decides to come back to pay me a visit one day,he won't be able to find me.
