One Night Stand with A Billionaire

"Mike, all night you're have just been gazing at this young lady is there a problem although she look familiar with someone you know?"

Dave asked his friend jolting him immediately back to reality.

"Is it that obvious?"

Mike asked like as if he was scared and Dave burst into laughter, his laughter annoyed mike so much that he just looked at him blankly but obviously pissed. Mike is the CEO of one of the biggest textile producing company in the UK and Dave was his best friend and also his personal assistant, unfortunately he was also around Mike like a pest and knows everything about him. One thing was for sure that his best friend is crazy in love with this particular fair skin lady, she is slinder and beautiful of course. Any time her gray eye truned to look at there direction mike immediately look away this love gaze has begin going on for about an hour and Mike wasn't listening to anything his friend Dave was saying as he just stared at this beautiful lady.

"Stop laughing you fool it annoys me"

Mike said when Dave hasn't stopped laughing and it doesn't look like he will stop anytime soon.

"Oh pardon me, but the look on your face when you asked that question was worth capturing"

He replied still giggling like a child who was begin tickled.

"Fine ! But I just can't take my eyes off her. Just look at how she smiles brightly and how she drinks. It beautiful, don't you think so"

Mike confessed slowly in a very low tone as if he didn't want to speak in the first place. His response made Dave smile, his best friend had fallen in love in just an hour he thought.

"Why don't you approach her ?" He asked and Mike looked at him confused. "Come on, I think she likes you too, because she begin staring at you too" mike adviced

"Are you serious ! I never said I like her or anything, stop being dramatic Dave"

He responded and drank all the beer in his glass at once. Dave just looked at his crazy friend who was more dramatic than he was. Mike had always been the timid and shy one when it comes to love he rather hide his feelings than approaching the lady and this annoys Dave. Mike was rich, and very handsome he was the ladies man but never had a girlfriend because he was super timid even when they were at high school he was the same, Dave always thinks he would change when they got to college but he was disappointed as his friend grew more timid and acted very cold inorder to chase girls and hide his timid nature.

Back at college during their third year, Mike had always liked this particular lady named Jennifer but as usual he never approach her or talked to her. Dave then decided to help his helpless friend and bring his crush closer to him, so Dave invited Jennifer over to a dinner and also invited Mike to the dinner, when they both get there mike was surprised to see his crush there and immediately knew his friend has planned something and tried to run away but Dave was smarter to bring him successful to the dinner table and made him sit next to Jennifer.

"Jennifer I know you are surprised to see mike here but I set it up like this. You see mike here has something to tell you and I will excuse you now so you both can talk better."

Dave had said and immediately left the both of them ignoring mike pleading eyes asking him to stay.

"So what is it you want to tell me ?"

Jennifer asked eager to hear what he has to say, Jennifer had also been in love with him but wanted him to confess his feelings. After a long pause mike cleared his throat and gather all of his courage and said to her

"I don't have anything to say, it just a prank Dave took it to far"

He said and left immediately leaving Jennifer bewildered and dumbstruck.

This made Jennifer and Dave enemies for life.

*Back to present*

"Okay if you say so, but stop gazing at her like that she might get the wrong idea"

Dave said dropping the case immediately

"I won't" mike replied and poured himself a glass of beer and drank it all. "This wouldn't do" Mike said and stood up from where he was sitting and went straight to the lady.

"Excuse me damsel"

Dave greeted the lady and she truned to look at him with are beautiful gray eyes.

"Can you please follow me, my best friend is really shy and he had begin gazing at you all night , I think he has something to say"

Dave said smiling and she smiled at him.

"Sure no problem, let go see the shy boy"

She replied and followed him to where mike was sitting. Mike was very surprised to see her sitting close to him smiling brightly and he immediately know his best friend has done it again.

"Don't you dare mess up because am going to kill you ! I swear" Dave warned him as he whispered to his ears and left before he could reply.

"Good bye damsel"

Dave said and left but before he could completely exit the bar he felt a strong grip on his hands and when he truned he saw his best friend. "What ?" He asked but Mike dragged him to a quite place.

"What did you do?" Mike asked and Dave smiled.

"am trying to help" Dave replied

"I don't know what to say to her"

Mike finally voiced out his concerns and Dave laughed and forcefully removed his hands from his.

"Maybe you should start by apologizing for leaving her all alone in there waiting for you"

He replied and left entering a cab leaving mike confused.

"This is fucked up"

He said and ran inside the bar.

She was still sitting there sipping her drink when mike walked in a sat close to her.

"Am sorry"

He simply said and she smiled back at him.

"For ?"

She said trying to forcing words into his mouth.

"Leaving you to wait, that rude right?"

He replied she frown

"Yes it is, very rude to leave a beauty waiting but am not annoyed"

She replied still smiling

"Oh.. am sorry"

He responded

"Are you always like this ?"

She asked him

"Like how ?"

He replied

"Are you always sorry"

She asked him and he looked at her confused.

"Yes! No! I don't know"

He answered and she brust into laughter at his reply.

"You crack me up"

She replied still laughing.

"Oh okay thanks"

He replied awkwardly

"You know if my ex was anyway as funny as you are he won't be my ex and I won't be here drinking alone"

She said and sighted triedly

"Am so sorry, you had to go through something like that"

He responded and tapped her on her shoulders and she smiled. There was an awkward silent between them as they were both lost in there own thought. She was busy drinking without stopping while mike couldn't take his eye of her. After sometimes she lazily stood up from the chair and truned to him.

"Good bye it was nice being your drinking buddy"

She said drunk and tried to leave but he held her back.

"You can't go home in this state, you are drunk"

He asked concerned and she smiled widely

"Don't worry I will get home, am sober up ! Can't you see?"

She replied laughing and he looked at her confused, he didn't know why he cared so much about a stranger he just met he had the urge to protect her and comfort her because he could see that behind that smile she was going through a lot but she was trying to hide it to herself. So he asked her

"How about I call you a cab?"

He asked and she replied

"A cab is waiting for me outside. I already ordered a cab I told you am sober up"

She said and left him speechless

Getting outside as she waited for her cab driver to arrive she heard someone say to her.

"Is this where you been all this time ? Have been calling you and you keep ignoring my calls, what your problem ?"

A guy asked as soon as he saw her stepping out of the bar. When She saw him, the look of disgust and displeasure to see him was vivid in her face.

"I told you not to call me, what her you even doing here ? Are you stalking me ?"

She yelled and he smiled at her and moved closer to her and held her hand tenderly.

"You must be drunk huh ? Come on I will take you home. We can talk about this at home right?"

He said and tried to drag her to his car but she refused and forcefully removed her hand from his grip.

"What are you trying to do ? I told you it over between us don't you get the meaning of it over ? Am done ! And don't you there approach me again it not you will regret it you bastard son of a bitch !"

She cursed him and truned to leave but he grabbed her, his grip this time was more tight than before as he attempt to take her into his car but he was forced to halt when an hard blow landed on his jaw.

"She said it over bro, I hate clingy guys"

Mike said and drag her away from him.

"And who are you ? Do you know who I am?"

He replied and Mike smiled

"You are her past and am her fucking present! And let me warn you the next time I see you anywhere around her I would make sure you regret it"

He warned and truned to her, staring at her beautiful grey eyes

"Are you okay ?"

Mike asked worried

"I am"

She simply replied and lay her head lazily on his chest drafting to sleep. Mike didn't know what to do so he carried her to his car laying her down gently at the front sit and drove off to a near by hotel. He booked a room and carried her in and laid her in the bed covering her up. He looked at her for a long time before deciding to leave but as soon has he took the first step her warm hand held his.

"Don't go"

She said still sleeping peacefully. Her words made his heart skip a beat and he looked at her only to see she was still sleeping peacefully and was only sleep talking, for some reason this annoyed him.

"She is sleep talking"

He said in a low voice so he won't wake her up, he gently removed her hands from his and left but before he could get to the bedroom door he felt her whole body wrapped behind him.

"I said don't go"

She responded hugging him tight from behind. Mike was still, he could feel all the blood in his body rush straight to his heart making it difficult for him to breathe, goosebumps all over his body as his excitement wasn't able to be withheld. He truned to her and said.

"What are you thinking?"

He asked and she wrapped her arms around his neck and stretched placing her warm lips on his and without wasting time he reprocate passionately and hungrily like he had been waiting all night for it.

She truned lazily on the bed and she could feel that there was someone next to her has her hands subconsciously touch his manly chest, she immediately opened her eye and behold and handsome look man, his skin fair and neat. He was half naked as his broad cheast and his complete abs couldn't leave her eye. She sat up immediately and memories of the last night rush through her head, her mouth wide opened when she realized what she had done.

"What the hell?"

She said to her self as she bit her lips feeling guilty. She reached out for her phone and look at the time it was 5:30am.

"Oh my gosh! Am going to be fucking late for my flight"

She exclaimed, there was twelve missed calls from her sister and three text messages.

"Where are you ? Have been trying your number and you aren't pick up, hope you are safe ?"

"Come on pick up ! You are making me worried huh?"

"Okay fine, if you don't want to travel to Europe it fine we can always talk about this you don't need to run away"

She bit her lips harder as she read the text from her sister.

"Meet me at the airport with my luggages I already arranged them"

She texted back and immediately dressed up and left the hotel room.

"I need to find her!"

Mike said to Dave. He woke up only to find her gone, he was confused and still confused on why she would leave without even saying anything to him.

"Fine I will fine her for you just tell me what her name ?"

Dave asked triedly. Ever since he got to work Mike had not allowed him to sit down for a minute, he kept saying he needs to find the damsel he met at the bar last night and Dave wonder why .

"Her name ? Oh my gosh !"

He yelled and Dave looked at him more confused than ever.

"What is wrong with you mike ?"

Dave asked concerned about his best friend

"I didn't even ask for her name, am so stupid"

He replied cursing himself.

"Okay, can you tell me why you're this restless ?"

Dave asked feed up of his new character.

"I will, you know last night with that lady"

He replied

"Yes that damsel you keep looking at"

Dave answered jokingly

"Yes her, turns out she had a clingy ex who tried to take advantage of her because she was drunk, so I helped her and took her to an hotel which i paid for. I was about to leave but she stopped me and asked me not to, we kissed and something happened between us"

He explained and Dave couldn't hide his surprise.

"You had a one night stand with a stranger?"

He said almost yelling.

"That not the point Dave, the thing is I woke up this morning and she was no where to be found. When I asked I was told she left early"

He responded and Dave smiled

"Mike, she probably regret what she had done and don't want to see you again. Ladies her like that"

Dave said nonchalantly

"Come on she isn't like that, there must something more that make her leave just like that"

Mike said as he collapsed on his chair.

"Maybe she doesn't like you or you weren't good In bed"

Dave said laughing but immediately swallowed his laughter when he saw the daggers mike eye were throwing at him.

"Am serious, I need to find her"

He responded

"You can't, you don't even know her name or have her number how the hell do you want to find her?"

Dave asked but Mike didn't respond.

"You will forget about her maybe in the next few days okay ?"

He explained to him

"I will go back to that bar maybe she would come back there"

He said, he was adamant to whatever Dave was trying to tell him. So Dave didn't try to stop him or discourage him.

"Fine I would follow you there. But now let talk about the business proposal from flower fashion, I think it would make good profit if we proceed with them. There fashion style is top notch and there company is well recognized even in the Asian company"

He said changing the topic but Mike was not in the mood for any business talk as his mind was far from whatever it is Dave was saying to him.

"Just do what you think is right, if there company is that good then left sign the deal with them"

He responded

"I heard. It a female who onw the company, she has begin running the company since she was eighteen. She started the company with the money she got from her late parent, but the suspicious thing is that no one knows the CEO of the company as she refused to show her face in any interview her personal assistant dose all the interview for her"

Dave continued but Mike wasn't listening.

"Okay"

He simply said and Dave sighted and stood up.

"I will head to my office now"

He said and left him alone to go deeper into his thoughts.

At the bar mike sat down sipping his cold beer and his eye search through the crowd in the bar but he couldn't see the person he was looking for, his were fixed at they door scanning everyone that enter or went out of the bar making sure nothing and no one pass his eye. Dave was feed up of his friend character, they have been coming to this bar for a week straight and still haven't found who they were looking for. Mike has refused to let go of the fact that she was gone and might not be able to see her again since he still keep coming here and dose not plan on stopping anytime soon. He has also lose consecration at work and this pissed Dave.

"Mike, this needs to stop"

Dave said as his bottled up feelings finally explode.

"What are you talking about?"

Mike asked confused by his statement.

"For over a week now we have been coming to this place hoping your lost love will come back but all seem abortive don't you think it high time we stop this and focus on the real task at hand"

Dave suggested and Mike sighted.

"But you know I get my mind off her"

He replied

"I know you can't but we have a big project at hand. You can't keep delaying this deal or we might lose it. You need to get yourself together man"

Dave encourage his friend.

"Dave fine,let sign the deal with flower fashion but I will still make sure I fine her okay"

He said and Dave smiled

"Now you're talking, I just need your focus on work that all you can keep looking for her. Am certain you will meet her if you guys are fated to meet"

Dave replied

"So tell me about the company and the business proposal"

He responded and Dave smiled, he had finally gotten his best friend back for good.

"Oh, it a multi national fashion company very popular here in the UK and in Asian company, the CEO is anonymous and but I was able to get us a meeting with her"

He explained

"How do you do that ? She refused to speak to any of her partners in the past"

Mike asked surprised.

"Well our company is bigger and we are at the top so obviously they need us and they will do whatever we ask for. Our meeting is scheduled for tomorrow by 2pm I have gone through the agreement it at our advantage and it profit is worth going for it"

Dave explained more

"What would I have done without you ?"

Mike replied smiling brightly

"Nothing, absolutely nothing"

He replied laughing loudly and soon mike joined in.
