A young girl sat slowly sipping her drink, her eyes scanning the room anxiously, hoping for that one person to show up.
She was dressed in a short black gown that exposed much of her body, and it was obvious she felt uncomfortable wearing it.
She gulped nervously as she looked around, seeing different people making out in the club.
This was her first time in a club.
"Hey?" She turned around to see a boy standing behind her.
She ignored him.
"You look so pretty," he complimented, licking his lips.
Aurora just rolled her eyes.
Compliments weren't new to her; she'd heard them plenty of times before.
"What's a beautiful girl like you doing here all alone?" he asked, reaching out to touch her, but she slapped his hand away, giving him a deadly glare.
"Leave me the fuck alone," she snapped, and the boy scoffed.
"Playing hard to get, huh?" He grabbed her harshly, making her panic.
"Let go of me!" she struggled, trying to break free from his grip, but she couldn't.
"Alessandro Matteo is here!" someone screamed through the crowd, and the boy immediately released her. Everyone started running, trying to find somewhere safe to hide, while she stood up, looking around in confusion.
His dark eyes scanned the room, searching for someone, and when they landed on her, he exhaled, taking a deep breath.
He took another deep breath, his gaze locked on her body.
Impatience surged through him as he walked toward her, flanked by his bodyguards.
Aurora gulped in fear as she watched him approach, realizing it was because of him that everyone was running.
No one had to tell her he was dangerous; the aura around him screamed it.
She looked at the handsome boy in front of her and wondered how many days God had spent crafting such an amazing creature.
'He's so good-looking,' she thought. But if only she knew that looks didn't define him.
His handsome face, his curly hair that gave him a delicate appearance, his dark, dangerous eyes, and his perfectly shaped pink lips made him look like a god.
And in a way, he was a god-of his own world.
Alessandro smirked a little when he noticed her staring at him, but he wasn't here to play. He was here for one thing-to get what he wanted.
Aurora gulped in fear again and tried to walk past him, but she was dragged back, her body trembling as she looked into his black eyes.
She still hadn't realized that he was the one she had been waiting for.
"Where do you think you're going?" he asked, his deep voice sending shivers down her spine.
Just his voice alone was enough to instill fear. Everything about him screamed danger, and all she wanted to do was run.
"I... I don't... see how that's any of your business," she stuttered, her voice betraying her fear.
"Is she trying to run?" he wondered, staring at her blankly, though his expression held a hint of menace.
He turned and signaled to his guards, and immediately they moved beside Aurora.
"What are you doing?" she asked, her voice shaking, as they grabbed hold of her.
"Let go of me!" she screamed, struggling against their grip, but it was futile.
"Get her to the car," Alessandro commanded, and they dragged her toward the vehicle.
"Let me go!" she yelled as they forced her inside. Almost immediately, Alessandro slid in beside her, and she shifted uncomfortably.
"Take us to one of the fancy hotels," he ordered the driver.
"Yes, boss." The driver started the car and sped off.
"Look, I don't know you, so let me go!" Aurora pleaded, but Alessandro just stared at her lips, wishing to taste them.
His phone rang, and he diverted his attention to it, frowning at the caller ID.
"Yes?" he answered.
"Boss, she tried to escape," the voice on the other end informed him. Alessandro's anger surged.
"End her life immediately," he said coldly before ending the call.
Aurora gasped in fear, having overheard the conversation.
Would they kill her too? The thought sent chills down her spine as she stared at Alessandro, who was now focused on his phone.
"Somebody help!" she screamed, pounding on the car window, causing Alessandro to growl in frustration.
He grabbed her roughly, forcing her to meet his dark, menacing eyes.
"Shut up, or I'll make you regret it," he warned, his voice dripping with anger. Aurora shivered in fear and nodded quickly.
He released her, turning his attention back to his phone while Aurora gazed out the window, trying to calm herself by focusing on the cool breeze.
She felt a sudden chill and instinctively wrapped her arms around herself. The strapless gown she was wearing did nothing to keep her warm.
Noticing her discomfort, Alessandro pulled off his jacket and extended it toward her.
"Here," he said.
Aurora turned to him.
"I don't need it," she replied.
"I don't want you passing out before I get down to business... so take it," he said with a daring look, challenging her to refuse.
"Thanks," she muttered, reluctantly taking the jacket and wrapping it around her shoulders.
She gazed out the window again, her thoughts drifting to her brother. She wondered how he was doing. Before she left, the doctor had told her his condition had worsened.
Tears gathered in her eyes as she thought of him.
Her thoughts were interrupted when the car came to a stop. She looked around, trying to figure out where they were, but she had no idea.
A man in a suit rushed over to open Alessandro's door, and he stepped out gracefully, like the king he believed himself to be.
"Oh my gosh!" a girl screamed as she stared at Alessandro, who ignored her.
Aurora remained in the car, looking around, until two men approached and gently pulled her out, just as Alessandro had instructed.
She looked up at the tall building in front of her.
It was a hotel.
The staff's eyes widened in fear as Alessandro stepped inside.
"Good evening, sir. How may we assist you?" one of them asked, her smile nervous.
"A room for the night," he said, and she nodded quickly, typing on her computer.
---
Aurora groaned in pain as she opened her eyes, meeting an unfamiliar white ceiling. She looked around the room and sighed when she remembered what happened last night.
She tried to stand up from the bed, but a strong hand wrapped around her waist possessively.
She turned her gaze to look at Alessandro, whose eyes were open, staring at her with a possessive intensity. She gulped and tried to stand up, but he pulled her back, causing her to fall back onto the bed.
"Fucking leave me alone, I need to go," Aurora said, glaring at him. But Alessandro just kept staring at her, this time coldly.
He didn't want to let her go. He hated that he had to.
Reluctantly, Alessandro let her go, and she immediately stood up, wrapping the sheet around herself. It was stained with blood.
Alessandro watched her every move as she walked into the bathroom. He smirked as memories of last night flooded his mind.
Last night had been one of the best nights of his life. To think that she had been a virgin drove him crazy.
He wanted her again. He wanted her all to himself, and he was determined to have her at any cost.
He had never been interested in any girl until now, and he wasn't going to let her slip out of his grasp.
He had been the first man to touch her, to see her naked, and he would be the last. His mind raced with dark thoughts of what he would do once she was entirely his.
His eyes held promises-dangerous ones.
Aurora came out of the bathroom, wearing the same dress from the night before. Alessandro hadn't taken his eyes off her the entire time.
From the way she walked, he knew he had really been rough with her last night. He liked it that way and had no regrets.
His dark eyes roamed over her body, already craving her again.
"I need to go now," she announced, throwing his jacket toward him. Alessandro closed his eyes, inhaling the scent from the jacket.
"It smells just like her," he thought, clutching the jacket tightly while Aurora watched him, confused.
If only she knew what was going through his mind, she'd run for her life.
"Wait," he said as she was about to leave the room. Aurora stopped and turned to face him.
He stood up from the bed, wearing only a singlet and boxers, and Aurora quickly averted her eyes.
"You forgot this," he said, stretching out her torn panties with a smirk on his handsome face. Aurora gasped in embarrassment and tried to snatch them away, but he didn't let her.
Instead, he brought the panties to his nose and smelled them, holding them close.
"I like the smell. I'm going to keep them," he said, taking another sniff, making Aurora frown in embarrassment.
"Good, because this is the last time we'll be seeing each other," she said, but Alessandro chuckled darkly, sending a chill down her spine.
"That's where you're wrong, sweetheart. We're going to be seeing each other a lot more," he said, smirking wickedly.
Aurora stared at him for a moment. He wasn't joking. His words carried the weight of a promise.
"What's with the delay? Don't you want to leave?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. She scoffed.
Aurora walked a few steps, but suddenly, she was pulled back into his hard chest.
She looked up, meeting his dark, possessive eyes.
"Be careful shaking that ass around... I hate when others stare at what's mine," he said, his tone serious and frightening.
Aurora quickly moved away from him and hurried out. She knew he was watching her, but she didn't dare turn around to face those deadly eyes again.
"He's terrifying," she thought as she exited the building. She ducked her head shyly when she noticed people staring at her awkward gait.
She rushed outside, and almost immediately, two of Alessandro's bodyguards approached her, bowing slightly, which made her frown in confusion.
"Please, ma'am. The boss asked us to drive you home. Kindly get into the car," one of them said.
Aurora tried to walk away, but they gently stopped her.
"Please, ma'am, don't make this difficult for us," the bodyguard pleaded. Aurora sighed and got into the car. The bodyguards quickly followed, and the car sped off to its destination.
---
Aurora placed her head against the window, staring out at the beautiful city of Italy.
She sighed and looked down at her phone wallpaper.
It was a picture of a little boy and her. They seemed so happy in that moment.
"I'm doing all this because of you. I have no regrets," she muttered, slowly wiping the tears from her eyes.
Whatever she had done last night was for her brother. She had promised her parents to take care of him, and she was determined to keep that promise.
"Ma'am, where should we stop?" one of the men in suits asked.
She glanced around and sighed.
"Stop here," she said, and they looked at her hesitantly.
"Ma'am, the boss instructed us to drop you at your house, so please..."
"Can you please stop the car?" she half-yelled.
The car stopped almost immediately, and she stepped out.
"Thanks for the ride," she said, walking across the busy streets of Italy.
As she walked, people stared at her, and she didn't need to be told why-it was because of how she was walking.
The boys gave her familiar looks, and she shyly looked down.
Aurora was beyond pure. She was the girl who looked away when you stared at her for too long. Her hair often got a little tangled, and her smiles weren't always real. She was timid, but always tried to be brave. She was the girl who cried herself to sleep because she missed her parents. But above all, she was kind, pretty, smart, and pure.
Her friends called her an angel because of her behavior. She was so sweet that people often got lost in her charm.
She knocked softly on the door, and almost immediately it opened, revealing a young woman in her late twenties.
The woman sighed as she looked at Aurora, and tears slowly fell from both of their eyes.
"Sweetheart, come here," the woman said, opening her arms wide. Aurora rushed into her embrace.
She gently led Aurora to the couch.
"Bestie, just forget about whatever happened tonight, okay?" Bianca said, and Aurora nodded softly.
Her phone rang.
She stared at it for a moment, then ended the call.
"Who was that?" Bianca asked.
"Francisco," Aurora replied, and Bianca sighed.
"I just don't want to talk to him right now. I feel so ashamed of myself. I mean, I have a boyfriend, but I slept with some asshole because I'm a desperate idiot."
"Don't say that, babe..." Bianca interrupted.
"He always wanted to have sex with me, but I refused him... and now, some stranger took my virginity first. I should've just let Francisco have his way," Aurora said.
"Bestie..." Bianca whispered softly and hugged her tightly.

(SOMEWHERE IN ITALY: 7:30 p.m.)
He walked majestically into the hall, surrounded by guards. Everyone stared at him in fear, but he didn't care. He was looking for one person.
Alessandro Matteo, the most feared mafia boss in all of Italy, had become a ruthless leader at the age of 16. A man who knew nothing about love or compassion, he sat down in a chair and crossed his legs.
His dark eyes scanned the room, searching for his target.
He scoffed when he spotted the man hiding.
"Come out, James. There's nowhere to hide," Alessandro said.
The man slowly crept out of his hiding place, looking terrified.
"Boss, please spare me," he begged, falling to his knees.
"You know me too well, James. I don't spare lives," Alessandro said dangerously.
"Please..." James whimpered.
"Send him to hell, Gabe," Alessandro instructed, and immediately, Gabe pulled the trigger, making everyone scream.
"You can continue your dance now," Alessandro yelled before walking out.
"Gabe, what have you found out about the pretty damsel?" Alessandro bit his lip as he remembered her.
"Here," Gabe handed him a large envelope.
Alessandro opened it slowly and exhaled deeply when he saw her picture. He bit his lip and traced his hand around the photo.
"Her name is Aurora, a 19-year-old girl. She lost her parents at the age of 13, and since then, it's just been her and her 8-year-old brother, who has a heart condition. That's probably why she, um..."
Alessandro smirked and pocketed the picture.
"She goes to college, and when she's not in class, she works at a popular restaurant in Italy," Gabe continued.
"A college kid?" Alessandro chuckled.
"Hmm... Boss, there's something else," Gabe added, and Alessandro turned sharply to look at him.
"She's dating some guy," Gabe said, and Alessandro growled in anger.
"What the fuck!" he yelled.
"Find out more about that bastard and pay him a visit. As for Aurora, let's pay her a visit ourselves."
****
Aurora was inside the changing room, trying to change her dress when the door opened, and she walked in.
Aurora sighed.
"You came late again, didn't you, bitch?" she yelled.
"Leave me alone." Aurora tried to walk out, but the woman pulled her back.
"You think you're pretty, but you're just a bitch. I know you're trying to seduce the boss, but trust me, I am never going to let you do that," she yelled, then walked out.
Aurora just rolled her eyes.
It wasn't the first time she had spoken to her that way.
She walked out of the room, only to meet her boss.
"You came late again," he yelled angrily.
"I'm sorry..."
"You're not getting this month's salary," he said, then walked out.
He walked into the restaurant majestically like a king, with guards hovering around him.
The people stared at him in panic, and he just rolled his eyes.
His aura was not a good one.
His eyes roamed around, searching for just one person, and he smirked when he saw her typing on her phone.
"In need of fried rice and chicken, with a wine," Gabe yelled out to Aurora.
"In a minute," she replied.
He crossed his legs, waiting impatiently for her to show up.
"Here you...." Her eyes widened when she finally got a look at him.
"Hello, Aurora," he smirked.
She stepped back in horror, the drink spilling over his body.
"What the hell have you done, Aurora?" Max yelled at her, and Alessandro growled angrily.
"You don't yell at her," he glared dangerously at Max, who gulped in fear.
He turned to Aurora, who was just staring at him.
She was shocked to see him here; she had never expected to find him after that one night.
"What the hell...are you doing here?"
"I came to have a meal. This is a restaurant, right?" He raised his eyebrows, and she glared at him.
"Well, actually, I came for you," he said, and Aurora scoffed.
"I don't know why you're here, dude, but seriously, get lost. All we had was a one-night stand you paid for, so get lost."
"I want you to be mine. And I get whatever I want," he said casually, but his serious tone made it clear he wasn't joking.
He had this look in his eyes that made her wonder just how many people he had killed, and this grin that made her realize he had probably lost count.
"Well, get drunk and fuck off. I don't wanna see your face again," she half-yelled, and he growled angrily.
She tried to walk out, but he pulled her back into the chair.
"I told you, we're going to be seeing each other more often. Also, you should try to be nice to the first man who got between your legs," he said.
"You paid for it, dude. Now get out!" she yelled.
Everyone's attention was now on them.
He growled and slammed the table angrily, making everyone flinch.
"You don't get it, do you? You're mine, Aurora. The moment you entered my car, you were fucking mine. And I get whatever I want," he smirked. The woman gulped nervously.
"We're done here, dude. Get the fuck out," she said, trying to sound calm.
At that moment, she was terrified.
Almost immediately, his guards pulled out guns and pointed them at the people, causing them to scream in fear.
"What...what are you doing?" she stuttered.
"Sit down, eat with me, and I'll think about not shooting any of them," he said.
Aurora glared at him in fear, but she quickly sat down, and he smirked.
"Oh, that's more like it."
Her heart pounded violently with fear.
He sighed and clicked his tongue.
He hadn't meant to scare her, but she had forced him to. He didn't know what was wrong with him anymore. He had probably lost it; he was crazy over a girl he met 22 hours ago.
"Eat up," he said.
"I'm not..." she stopped halfway, glancing at Alessandro, who gave her a daring look.
Aurora glared at him. She didn't want to eat, but seeing how dangerously he was staring at her, she slowly took a bite of the food.
He took the food slowly to his mouth and moaned at how delicious it was.
"Hmm, so fucking delicious. You want to know the best meal I ever had?" he asked, but Aurora ignored him.
"I'll tell you...you," he replied with a smirk, and she glared at him.
"Amore (love), you didn't tell me you had a boyfriend," he said, and her eyes widened.
She had never expected him to know about that.
"I don't see how that's your business," she stammered.
He chuckled darkly and stood up from the chair.
He walked towards her and gently pulled her cheek to make her look at him.
"You're not so pure, Aurora. You had a boyfriend, yet you slept with someone else. Just so you know, I hate sharing what's mine," he whispered possessively, dangerously, and all she wanted right then was to get away from him.
"I am not yours," she stammered in fear.
"That's not for you to decide. I always get what I want...and you are mine, Aurora," he said, caressing her cheek softly.
His hand moved to her lips, tracing them gently.
He leaned closer to kiss her, but she quickly turned her face away.
He chuckled and moved back.
He raised his hand, and one of his guards dropped a fancy bag on the table.
"Wear that and meet me at the address written on the paper," he said.
Aurora scoffed but didn't dare say a word.
"Failure to do so...your sweet boyfriend will be gone," he said with a dangerous smirk as he clicked his fingers.
He raised his hand, and his guards lowered their guns.
"I always get what I want, Aurora," he smirked.
"For the food," a guard dropped a check on the table.
"See you soon, Amore," he whispered, kissing her earlobe softly, making her shiver.
He chuckled and walked out of the restaurant.
★★★★
Aurora could be seen pacing up and down, trying to calm herself, but she just couldn't.
A man she had a one-night stand with was after her, and that alone scared her.
The door opened slowly, and Bianca walked in.
"What is up, Aurora? You said it was urgent," Bianca asked with concern.
"Who is he?" Aurora asked, and Bianca stared at her, confused.
"The guy you hooked me up with. Who the hell is he?" Aurora asked softly, and Bianca sighed.
"Why do you-"
"Bianca, you need to tell me who the hell that guy is!" she yelled, and Bianca stared at her in surprise.
Her best friend had never yelled at her before, no matter how upset she was. Aurora was known to be calm, but this was unexpected.
Bianca and Aurora had met in college, and you could say Bianca had been the best friend anyone could ask for.
"He...is...a mafia boss," Bianca replied, and Aurora gasped in surprise.
She should have known by the way he behaved.
"What the hell, Bianca? You hooked me up with a mafia boss?" Aurora yelled angrily.
"Alessandro is a regular at the strip club, and he's very rich. I was just trying to help you-you got the money for your brother's surgery... Besides, why are you so bothered about it now?" Bianca yelled back.
"He came to my workplace! That guy made me lose my job!" Aurora yelled, and Bianca gasped.
"What? Why would Alessandro do that?"
"I don't know, but he keeps saying I'm his. You know this guy, so tell him to stay the hell out of my life!" Aurora shouted before storming upstairs.
---
She sighed and lay slowly on the bed.
"What have I gotten myself into?" she muttered.
Her phone rang, interrupting her thoughts, and she stared at it.
She sighed and picked it up.
📱 "What the hell, babe? You got me worried," he said in a concerned tone.
📱 "I...was very busy," she stammered.
📱 "Oh, I know. It's about your brother. I wish I had the money-I would have given it to you," he said.
Tears slowly rolled down her cheeks.
If only he knew what she had done, he would probably hate her.
📱 "Come downstairs, babe. I'm outside," he said, and she gasped in surprise.
She opened the window hurriedly and saw him leaning on his car, waving at her.
---
"Babe!" Francisco called as she rushed downstairs, and they hugged each other tightly.
"I missed you so much," she said, kissing his lips softly. They both smiled at each other.
"I missed you more, babe," he replied, kissing her cheek gently.
---
He growled angrily and punched the car window as he stared at them.
He was feeling so damn angry, and all he wanted to do was kill the man who dared to touch his possession.
He clenched his fist tightly, his gaze never leaving them.
God knows he was trying really hard not to kill him right now.
This feeling was new to him-he felt so possessive of a girl he had just met.
He yearned for her touch and just wished he could hold her right now.
"Should we end him, boss?" Gabe, who was beside him, asked, noticing his boss's rage.
Slowly, a smirk crept onto Alessandro's lips.
"Not yet. I'm going to use the bastard to my advantage," he said with an evil grin.
Whatever he was planning wasn't good.
★★★★
Aurora sat down, combing her hair. Francisco had left not too long ago.
Her phone rang, and she picked it up without checking the caller ID.
"Hello, Aurora," a husky voice said.
She frowned and glanced at the screen. It was an unknown number.
"Who is this?" she asked.
"Ouch. I'm hurt, amore. You've forgotten my voice?"
In that moment, Aurora realized it was him. Her heart pounded violently in fear.
She was nervous and scared all at once.
"How did you get my number?" she asked, her voice trembling.
"Let's skip that part, amore. Are you getting ready?" he asked, and she scoffed.
"I'm not going anywhere," she shouted.
"Oh, sweetheart, I love when you yell, but I'd prefer you did it in my bed," he said huskily, and Aurora frowned.
"Well, well, well... Your lovely Francisco will be the perfect target to kill, don't you think?"
Her eyes widened in shock.
"What the hell? Don't hurt him! He has nothing to do with this!" she yelled, panicking.
"He has everything to do with this. He's driving a red Toyota Tacoma, which will be destroyed soon if you don't obey me. I'll give you 20 minutes to get dressed, and my guard will pick you up. Don't act foolish, amore," he said before hanging up.
She collapsed to the floor, tears streaming down her face.
"What have I gotten myself into?" she muttered.
She quickly grabbed a plastic bag and pulled out a dress.
She frowned at the sight of it-it was a short, strapless gown.
There was no way she was wearing that.
She flung the dress aside and rushed to her wardrobe.
