The Breaking Point
Angie's POV
"I want a divorce because now I have found my fated mate..."
Those words rang in my ears, and Gray's way of holding the b*tch's hands close while giving a warm kiss on her lips, all recorded in my mind. One thing was certain, he wanted to announce in public that I was no longer his Luna.
Everyone was talking about me with disgust, and I couldn't respond because everything was coming from the man I loved, Gray.
A group of women were sneering at me.
Gray embarrassed me as a Luna in the Black Wooden Pack. He even ignored the arrival of guests from the other packs.
Why did he have to do this? He not only destroyed me but also destroyed the pack we've been making for the past three years!
"Stupid girl, get something appropriate in the end!"
"Isn't it true that she should have separated from Grey long ago? She has no shame, she is still forcing will even though they are not true Mates!"
The whispers and sentences they throw are piercing to my soul. I couldn't think of anything right now and my body was stiffening.
At the moment when everyone clapped hands to welcome the arrival woman named Jenny Aether Perez, I preferred to remain silent in the crowd while looking at my husband, who was smiling at the b*tch.
'You see, Angie! I've been warning you since the day you turned 18 years old! You still want him to be your mate! No one can go against fate!'
Giga, my wolf, tried to wake me up. But, like a statue, I was still staring in their direction.
Someone bumped into my shoulder and made me rise from my extreme sadness.
I looked where Gray and Jenny had been standing and saw that they were no longer there.
'They leave. I advise you not to chase them!'
"Stop talking, Giga! I know what I'm going to do!"
I didn't want to listen to my wolf, and took a quick step through the crowd of people.
I wanted to rush over and question Gray, why did he treat me like this?
However, I'm not sure why, since Jenny's arrival earlier, Beta Hudson has been staring at me from the front door page back, as if I'm the dangerous Luna. I'm deeply offended!
"GRAY! WAIT!"
Gray and Jennie came to a halt and turned to face me.
Gray had completely lost empathy, he was like a vile and cruel wolf without feelings.
"Angie, my Luna! It appears that you have arrived. I want to find you and say something to you..."
The voice that was enthusiastic and direct began to weaken as if it wanted to express a painful honest heart.
"What would you like to say? Is it about her? You have broken our agreement with the Moon Goddess! Why did you take her here?! Gray, I'm the only Luna of this Pack!" I shouted.
Jenny looked at me with a despicable stare, as if she was proud that she had found her fated Mate.
Gray looked in Jenny's direction, then released Jenny's arms, and he moved in closer to me.
"Angie, please, I just can not ignore my deepest desire. You can't imagine how good it feels to be with the fated mate! It's an irresistible attraction...for any werewolf,"
"Gray, you once promised me!"
I slapped Gray's face, and I noticed someone's medium gray eyes were staring in the direction behind me.
When I turned around to see if Beta Hudson was approaching, it appeared that Gray is asking him to back off.
"You have to understand, Angie. In any case, she's my Fated Mate. You know that I was the Alpha of Blood Catcher Pack. Even when we built a Black Wooden Pack, you can see how this Pack advanced and became the strongest Pack. I think I can have more than one Luna," Gray replied, his face relaxed but still smiling. 'Stop, Angie, and take the course. You will not be appreciated by them when Jenny arrives and marries Gray! You're on the right track in your look for your true love!'
I didn't care what Giga said, I still wanted to keep our relationship going after so many years.?
I remember how we used to be the most compatible couple in town, and even people who dismiss me as insignificant are gradually admitting my existence as Luna of Gray.
Of course, now it was all over. Gray, as if he had forgotten all his words.?
"I'm sorry, Luna Angie. But... I couldn't reject Alpha Gray, who is, of course, my fated Mate. I'm not sure what's going on either. However, when Alpha Gray explained my situation and his, I was relieved because now I have him to be my guardian angel," Jenny said quietly and without guilt.
"Your guardian angel? Don't you realize that he already has me as his Luna? And now, after you knew everything, you still want to be with him? Jenny, you're cruel!"
Gray put his arm around me and tried to calm me down when he noticed I was getting grumpy. But blew his hands away from my shoulder.
I was furious and despised him. There was nothing I want more than for him to reject Jenny and honor the agreement we made with the Moon Goddess.
"Don't touch me, Gray! I."
I was at a loss for words, so I reversed my body and leave both of them.
Hold on to my tears, I didn't want to be laughed at any longer.
***
I awoke when I heard a knock on the door.
It was already dark, I turned to look next to my bed and saw no Gray figure. He usually gave me a friendly hug.
'Who will be there?'
'It's Jenny? I have a bad feeling!'
I ignored what Giga ordered once more. I got out of bed and opened the door.
Jenny was standing in front of my room, and she was wearing a bright red dress.
"Can we talk for a minute, Luna Angie? I want to say something to you, come on over to the garden behind," she said friendly.
I don't feel bad because she is the only person who can understand my marriage. I nodded and closed the door and walked in front of it more often.
"Where's Gray?" I asked as we walked.
"Alpha Gray is in the middle of the room with Beta Hudson."
I nodded slowly.
We arrived at the back courtyard not long after. Jenny was standing in front of me, her eyes sparkled as if she was happy. "What would you like to say?" I inquired politely.
"Well, I"
"Excuse me, Luna Angie, and Jenny. I've brought you two special drinks and desserts from Alpha Gray."
Our conversation was cut short due to Joy's presence, he is the omega in our pack.
"Thank you, dear," Jenny said. She took two glasses and handed one of them to me.
Who knew what Gray had in store for us.
"Let's toast," Jenny suggested.
I gave her a cynical smile and then our glasses collided. I finished the drink in an instant. However, all of a sudden...
My throat was warm and stuffy. I dropped the glass to the ground and held my neck while withholding sore.
"Help me!"
My body was so stiff that I fell to the ground.
It appeared that I was bound by a large wire. My breathing was becoming difficult, and my vision was becoming blurry.
One thing I remember was the words Angie whispered in my ear.
"Adieu, Luna Angie."
Fractured Loyalties
Angie's POV
It was more like the murmur of a demon.
I could still feel my limbs, but my body was shaking badly on the ground.
'I haven't died yet?'?I asked my wolf.
"Angie, you are weak now," I didn't know what happened, but the night breeze made me want to close my eyes tightly.
"Let's go!"
When I heard Gray's voice, I slowly and quietly let out my own.
"Gray... Are you there?"
Their steps, which sounded a little far away, stopped all of a sudden.
"What the hell? Is she still alive?"
I recognized that sound! It was Gray's mate! I even could not remember her name.
"Gray, I'm cold... ta-take m-me b-back..." my voice was trembling.
Even though that stupid woman poisoned me, I could still use some of my strength.
Still, I felt like my body was hot and it was hard for me to move.
"It's impossible. I gave a lot of poison in the wine! She can't be alive! How can this woman be so powerful?"
Gray still hadn't said anything, and I was getting impatient to see his face. I was sure he was scared and worried about me.
This woman was evil, and I can't help but wonder if she was controlling Gray.
I wanted to answer, but my throat had been eroded by poison, and I couldn't make a sound. Maybe I would die this time.
"Angie, wake up!! You can not just give up," My wolf was trying to wake me up. "Take action, Gray! I don't want this relationship to get any worse! You don't have to invite me to your Pack if you still want to be with her."
The woman's sentence seemed to show that she wasn't as innocent as she seemed when I met her for the first time.
"What am I supposed to do? Jenny, I can't!"
Ah! Jenny, yup! That was her name.
From what Gray said just now, he looked very scared and panicked. I tried again to speak, but it was hard for me to say any words.
"Gray, please help me..."
"Okay! Now, do you want me to be your Luna? Or you still want her?
This woman seemed to have no shame at all. If I could move, I swore I would snap her neck!
There was silence between them. For some reason, my heart was a little expecting Gray to answer and tell her that he wanted to choose me.
Even though she was Gray's fated mate, I wanted her to know that we have been together for too long.
I was his Luna, and I was sure Gray just made a mistake and still wanted to be with me.
What I thought turned out to be wrong, though.
Gray's voice broke the silence, and he said something right away that made me feel even worse.
"Of course, Jenny, I chose you. But I also don't have the heart to hurt Angie because she was my first Luna..."
He had forgotten what we told the Moon Goddess.
All the hard times we went through didn't change him either. I was sad about this. All the love that was left was gone in an instant.
"You don't care enough to say? You even went along with this plan! Okay, I'll put some poison, again, in her mouth! Move out of the way!"
Jenny's words made it pretty clear that they had already decided to get rid of me.
I didn't care if he made me a rogue.
What was the point of killing me?
In an instant, Jenny's cold hands were pressing against my face. She put a small vial with a thick liquid into my body.
When the thick liquid went into my body, I could feel my heart beating quickly, and it felt like ten adults were holding it.
Prang!
I could hear the loud sound of broken glass.
"C'mon! She will die soon."
"But first we have to bury her. We can't just leave her like this in the woods. "
Gray still cared a little bit about me, which was fine because I didn't want my dead body to be left here either.
"Just do it the next day!"
Jenny told him, and it didn't take them long to leave me alone. While they stepped heads far away, I could feel my body's heat turning into a very cold feeling.
My eyes slowly shut, and now I was really at the end of my life. It's ridiculous.
I, Angie Shera Wilson, was once considered the luckiest woman in this world.
Why?
I got the love from the Alpha, Gray. What's more, I married him and became the Luna of his Pack.
We had a crush on each other when we were young, and when I realized that he was from the great Pack, Blood Catcher Pack, I flinched.
I was from River Stone Pack, the weak Pack of this country, it was very unattractive and disgusting just to hear Pack's name.
I still remembered how Gray smiled at me and openly confessed his love for me.?
I also could not forget how did he insist on marrying me even though we were not the fated mate.
"I want to be with you, Angie, the bond of the werewolf is bullshit, I love you and I want you to be my Luna."
Gray's words moved me, and I naively believed that he would be with me forever.
Fate played a huge joke on me.
I was frozen to see Gray take a young girl back to our Pack, and announced in front of every member of the Pack that this girl was his fated mate. This was not the worst. Now, I was poisoned by my dearest husband and his fucking fated mate. I was lying on the ground like a dog, and ready to be thrown out of the Pack at any time.
Hatred surrounded me. I swore that if I could ever rebirth, I would revenge them at all costs!
Beneath the Moon's Shadow
Gilbert' POV
"How dare an omega like you stare at my future Luna?"
When a lowly creature's love was found, all he gained was ridicule and threat.
My name was Rivero Gilbert Johnson, by the way. I was the Omega in the Blood Catcher Pack, a weak, cursed creature.
My parents both died because of me, from then on, I lived by myself, and as the weak Omega, I had always been bullied by others.
I got tired of days like this, and even my wolf didn't always want to be together with me. I did admit that I was very far behind in terms of physical strength. Every one of this Pack, even the other omegas, could treat me in a very rude way.
If there were a rank below Omega, I might be able to fit into that.
I thought about leaving the Blood Catcher pack and becoming a rogue, but I wouldn't be strong enough. Put another way, I was not ready to die young yet.
It was already 3 a.m., and I still haven't gone to sleep. Oh, and just so you knew, today was my 19th birthday. Truly tragic that I didn't know who was my mate. If I found my mate, would she die because of me, just like my parents?
After all, I was the cursed creature.
On this lonely night, I wanted to walk around the forest near our Pack, but when I turned into a wolf, my body felt weak and hurt all over.
Even though it was more like a coyote, the Moon Goddess tested my life with this horrible thing, as if I couldn't get even a little bit of happiness.
"Huh!"
I took a deep breath. I was nervous about sleeping in this small room near the warehouse, but Angie's face made me feel better. I didn't know how much longer I can just look at her and admire her.
Angie was a unique girl in my eyes. She wasn't that different from me. She came from a small pack, and she was lucky that Gray loved her.
I thought this was just admiration, but as time went on, when I saw Gray and Angie together in the Pack, my heart would sometimes feel sad. Angie would be 18 soon, so she would probably become Luna of Gray soon.
'I'm tired of hearing you complain about nothing. Why do you want me to be your wolf? You don't want to change your fate, so either get stronger or fight those who picked on you!'
When Hiro, my wolf, came to me, I jumped.
'Hiro! You finally stopped by to say hello!'
'You never listen to what I say, and you don't even answer when I make suggestions. How do you want to get out of this terrible world you live in?'
'I do'
'
"GET UP! YOU, FUCK! FOLLOW ME!"
I got up right away and saw that Gray, Leo, and Julian were standing in front of my room with angry faces. Leo was the one who broke in and asked me to join them.
As an Omega, I didn't even dare to ask where they were taking me. I could only do what these Alphas tell me to do. They are the Alphas of the city's three biggest Packs. No matter what they do, it won't help me.
"Hurry up!"
Leo grabbed me so hard right away that I didn't even have time to put on a coat, even though it was very cold. Yes, this was one of my flaws, which made me different from the others. They had warm blood, but I'm weak like most people.
Leo dragged me like a dog. We kept walking toward the forest that was behind the house. When they moved faster and faster, it was hard for my weak legs to keep up. Maybe this was one of their tricks to make me mad because they don't want to use their wolf powers, which they can do in an instant.
"How far do you plan to walk with this trash?"
The voice came from Julian. Then Leo looked at me and asked, "How? Are you ready to face the end of your life? Stupid Omega!"
I sucked in my saliva, and it looked like tonight will be my last night on Earth. I tried calling Hiro, but he wasn't there. I've really given up a lot to get to this point.
Leo hadn't answered Julian's question, and I actually, also, wanted to know where our trip will end.
"OUCH!"
I had no choice but to feel the pain that had just hit me. My feet hit the roots of a moving tree by accident. Leo saw that I was hurting and lowered his hand so that I felt like a suitcase being pulled.
The big root hit my body so many times that I had to close my eyes to deal with the pain. I can only hope that the Moon Goddess will help me.
We finally got to where we were going, the place they wanted to be was Crystal Lake. Leo quickly threw my body, which was already hurt and weak from being dragged, with a lot of force into the middle of the lake.
My tired eyes can just barely make out water bubbles. I hoped I die soon and drown. But it was all made up in my head. Because as soon as my body started to sink, something pulled me and threw me up in the air with a very high fountain jet.
"AHH!"
Not only that but I was thrown quickly toward the lake, where the three Alphas were already waiting. Leo was seen standing in the middle, with his hands pointing toward my body, which was floating toward them.
I hit the big tree behind them, hardly, and blood poured out of my nose and mouth all at once.
Leo grabbed my shirt and glared at me.
He then asked, "What are you doing to Thalia, you stupid Omega?
