"You bastard, get out of my house. You are no longer needed" Kelvin my husband fumes with arrogant words at me. "You don't have to do this to me, Kelvin. We have gone a long way and now, what we just need, is understanding" I said, as I tried to convince him to let me stay. "This is what you have been saying for a long time and yet, nothing changes. At least, I have had enough of you. I can't keep risking spending my life with you. I have tried my best and moreover, you are nothing but a stupid pest to my life. Since I met you, you have brought nothing but pain and shame to me.

He bent and started to rub my face as if he was trying to wipe the tears coming out of my eyes. At once, I started to feel the usual feelings of romance I do felt, whenever he touches me. I was beginning to feel the man I married, and not the beast chasing me away. He posed a familiar face that suggests him being compassionate towards me. He raised my head towards himself, and when my emotions were calming down, he launched a heavy slap on my face. I fell to my feet and could see blood flowing out from my nose and mouth. "You idiot, you think you can keep tying me down with your reckless attitude? I don't even know how you got into my life in the first place. Just know that the more you stay here, the more you will likely get injured so, it's best you leave my environment now, or you take the painful risk of entering the lonely grave" Kelvin informed. He spoke to me, without showing any sign of compassion at all. He showed me for the first time, the beastly side of himself. Ever since I knew him and fell in love with him, I knew that our relationship wouldn't work. In fact, I don't really know who he was rejecting me for, but what I know is that he has been going out with a special lady for the past five months. However, I may not been authentic about the lucky witch he has been moving out with because I officially observed his cheating attitude for over a year now. While I was already walking outside the gate in humiliation, a dark and tinted car that was passing over me, suddenly stopped. Finally, my heart melted down, thinking that a compassionate savior had come for me. "Come dear'' A female voice from the car spoke. Under your nose, I have collected your husband, and guess what, am about to ride on him this night, while you will remain homeless throughout'' She said intimidatingly. I was about to slap her when a suited man held my hand tight and squeezed it. ''Beat her up, and throw her into the bush'' Stephanie ordered. I acknowledged them, by nodding my head, while the security man opened the car for me. I came out and found hundreds of workers patiently waiting and standing. It was the first time I saw and stood in my husband's magnificent company. I couldn't have come over, if not for John's illness, which has kept him in a helpless state.

Thus, he has no other option, than to delegate power for me to handle the administration of his company until he comes. While I was thinking of John, I decided to greet one-on-one, those workers who assembled to welcome most especially the company's executives. I shook hands with each of them, until I reached a certain level, and held my hand back. Damn, I was surprised to see Kelvin also standing. The moment he saw me, he was full of shock and surprise. I was also shocked because he never expected me there. Yes, he was probably expecting another woman but was hit by my presence. Oh my god, my heart boiled the more after I saw him, and anger filled all over me. My husband John, has instructed me to always work with the bodyguards he mandated for me until he comes. I sat in my office and was full of happiness. This was one of the things that contributed to his health challenges but since we met and had a one-night stand on the night I was divorced and chased by Kelvin, he has been depending and hoping on me to assist him in winning all his cases against his enemies. Finally, we escaped the traffic, but we discovered that the more we moved towards my husband's company, the more the road became tight. I was surprised to see over Three thousand workers protesting, all holding boards and carbon sheets with different inscriptions on them. I was wondering what was happening when one of the police officers who was guiding the company came to inform me that Kelvin was leading a mass protest and revolt against me. I was not moved by his actions. I just ordered my driver and security men, to clear the way for me to pass, and they did. In fact, if not for the security men, those protesting workers would have possibly attacked my convoy, and done away with it. ''He is protesting because you demoted him yesterday'' Mr. Lugard informed me. ''I see. How many management officials are spearheading this with him?'' I asked. ''Just three, madam'' He responded. Thirty minutes later, some team of policemen, came in and arrested Kelvin and his cohorts. I should have let them be free with their activities of protesting, but I don't just want to give my perceived villains any space if not, they would do more harm to the already collapsing company. However, when the multitudes of workers saw that their agitating leader had been apprehended, they were left with no option of retrieving back to their day jobs. Most of them have no clues of what happened, or why I demoted him from his executive position. They must joined in the protest because he influenced their will. I was very much ready for that day, to the point of drawing out a list of those to be promoted to some executive positions. I demoted all managing officers of the company, and finally selected different dudes entirely, to head various departments in the company. However, I have different reasons for demoting all managers and leaders of the company but it was mostly, for strategic reasons, and some few reasons best known to me. ''Cling_ Cling'', the company's bell rang. I have given a three-day emergency break to all workers, to go home and relax until the resumption date. It was time for me to re-shape the company back to its glorious days, and that was exactly what I was doing. I wanted everyone to be up and doing since I discovered how 'I don't care' everyone was operating. We started to formulate laws and would make sure they were implemented. ''Madam, I discovered that the company is currently owing much debt, but from what I am seeing, I can't explain how and when we accrued so much of this debt'' Gideon, my new financial manager informed me. While the meeting was still ongoing, I used such an opportunity, to call for a review of the company's constitution. Different cases and parameters were raised against the present one we were using, and it was here that I discovered that the company's constitution was changed just two years ago. ''What's really happening in this company?'' I asked in a frustrating and angry-looking voice. All the new executives turned and started looking at themselves one after the other. Their looks gave me a clue that something fishy was going on but from the look out of things, no one was ready to speak out. Not even the new manager ''Mr. Lugard'', was willing to talk. Thus, it was here that I knew that a stronghold was waging war, and controlling the minds of my workers. The feelings of insecurity filled all over me, and the spirit of desperation to conquer every secret enemy around the company, began to grow in me. This simply means that I can't trust anyone, not even my secretary because, I don't know who is who. ''Anyway, I will start the mission of probing all workers of this company, as from next month'' I informed. ''We are right and solidly behind you in this, madam'' Mr. Lugard, the new manager, said to me. The rest executives nodded their heads in anticipation of my words. However, I saw fear and something that looked like unbelief in their eyes. They seemed not to believe that I would execute the aforementioned and before we closed the meeting, the manager Mr. Lugard said, ''I would like to see you in secret madam''. I wondered why.
