~GRACIE'S ORPHANAGE~

Rose phone buzzed loudly and a notification popped up on it, she grabbed her phone immediately as she was expecting a text.

*You've been offered admission on schloraship to Maybell College as you have successfully passed the test. You are expected to be in the college ground by Monday morning, hope you have a great stay ahead. Signed;Maybell* She reads

Subconsciously, she screamed loudly jumping around in joy and happiness, who wouldn't? It's Maybell College, everyone's dream college.

Nuella was the first to get to her, her eyes did the talking instead of her mouth. Rose took her time to explain everything and also showed her the text she just received. They both screamed happily.

"This calls for celebration, how about we sneak out to the club tonight? What do you think?" Nuella suggested with bright eyes.

"I have to cover four pages of my linguistic textbook before the day runs out, I'm sorry but I can't go with you. I can just cheer you up from here" Rose retorted adjusting her eyeglasses.

Miss Gracie smiled while watching them from the door entrance, she stayed there a little while before leaving.

"At your service, Mi lady" Nuella suddenly said dragging Rose to one of the numerous bunk beds in the room.

"Huh?"

"I'll give you tips on how to act in college" Nuella offered

"Is that really neccesary?" Rose mumbled scratching her head nervously

"Of course it is!" Nuella snapped at once causing Rose to flinch. She turned to Nuella with teary eyes like she would cry anytime soon. That's the kind of person Rose is, she gets easily scared and she cries at any slight thing.

"I'm sorry okay?" Nuela said rolling her eyeballs. Rose bit her bottom lips in a cute manner trying to stop her tears but they soon rushed out, flowing down her cheeks without much effort.

Nuella let out a groan throwing her head backwards in a way that shows frustration.

"It's Maybell College you would be attending, are you going to act this way there? Firstly,don't act too soft, don't be all of this cry baby. Be strong! Don't let anyone intimidate you, you got it okay? Don't look down on yourself or feel inferior, you are great the way you are, the best version of you" Nuella advised in one breathe.

"Remember our code?" She added

"I am Me, I am the best version of myself. I can be who I want to be if I believe" They both said at once.

Nuella smiled lightly giving Rose a lovely stroke on her hair.

~LAVENDER MANSION~

The mansion stood massively in the estate, it could be seen as the biggest of all the houses. The exquisite exterior design made it stand out among others, fountain in the centre and the statue that stood giantly.

The interior design was no less, the spiral staircase gave it a unique look. Ranging from the expensive and lavishing furnitures to the wine cellar, everywhere was breathtaking.

May smiled lightly as she watched Twinkle descend the stairs. He had dyed his hair white making him look extra cute, his full bangs complimented to his handsomeness,then to his cute smoky eyes giving him a perfect bad boy look. His lips was damn! It was screaming kiss me, he is looking like a perfect demigod without flaws, an angel that just descended from the skies. To cap it all, he is a perfectionist.

He just took his food and meant to leave but May stopped him.

"Where are you going to?"May inquired standing up immediately

"To eat in my room" he responded

"And why should you do that when we have a dinning? We should eat together as one, as a family" May said causing Twinkle to scoff loudly

"Did you say a family? I don't think I have one cause a family won't betray one another" Twinkle retorted eyeing Vince,his twin brother before leaving and this time, May didn't stop him.

She fell back to her chair dejectedly

"I'm sure he will come around very soon, you shouldn't worry about it" Vince said in his usual calm voice.

"And when will that be? It's been ages" She complained,Vince just smiled and concentrated back in his food.

"At least you're still normal, I wonder how it will be if my two sons starts acting abnormally" She added

"Seriously mom?"

"Yeah... your brother is acting abnormally, he is probably psychologically imbalanced and should visit a psychiatrist hospital" May answered

"Mom!!"

"At this point I wonder if I'll ever see the whole family eat together again, that will be in my next life" She said with a shrug.

~TWINKLE'S ROOM~

Vince knocked on the door slightly and without waiting for a reply, he twisted the knob and entered. The first thing that caught his attention was the half finished plate of food on the tray.

"He did eat at least" He thought to himself scanning around the room hoping to sight Twinkle.

"I don't remember giving you an invitation to come to my room so get out" Twinkle said coming out of the bathroom clad in just a towel. He didn't even bother to spare Vince a glance but instead he went straight to his mirror.

"We need to talk" Vince said taking a deep breathe.

"There is nothing to talk about, get out!" Twinkle retorted

"But we can't keep going on this way! I don't feel comfortable at all. Let's talk, we can sort whatever issues we have and be one again" Vince uttered

That was the point Twinkle turned to him, his eyes showed nothing but hatred, anger and disgust. If only his glares could kill, Vince would probably be six feet deep.

"Get out!" Twinkle snapped with gritted teeth, he was a slowly loosing his patience. Noting his countenance, Vince had to leave the room.

Just as Vince left, the sound of shattering glasses followed. He cleared everything on the mini bar he has in his room, the glasses have him deep cuts but he cared less.

He ran his bloody hand through his hair taking slow and deep breathe.

~GRACIE ORPHANAGE●NEXT MORNING~

Rose let out a smile staring at her reflection in the small mirror. Just with a glance, one could tell that she was tensed. She inhaled deeply tucking her hair behind her ear.

"I got this" She mumbled to herself

I am Me, I am the best version of myself. I can be who I want to be if I believe"

"Hey!!!" She suddenly heard a voice behind her causing her to flinch, her heart almost flew out of her ribcage. She turned back sharply

"What the hell are you putting on? Don't tell me you are going there dressed like this?" Nuella exclaimed scanning her from head to toe.

Rose stared at her dressing; she was putting on a denim jean trousers which was almost faded over a simple top. She had her only sandals on and her hair was tied into a rough bun.

"But there is nothing wrong with my dressing" She retorted

"Everything is wrong with it, you can go to Maybell College looking like this. Besides, it is your first day and you should cause a scene, make heads turn and mouths open" Nuella answered.

"Let me dress you up" She added pulling Rose to the bed.

~MAYBELL COLLEGE~

Maybell College stood magnificently on the large acre of land. Just at the entrance of the school, there is a big billboard which displayed the picture of four students; two males and two females too. The name of the college was boldly written at the entrance too.

Then to the school building itself, the hallway was lined with lockers and bulletin boards, the lights streaming the stained-glass window illuminate the entire space.

Rose stayed on a spot gwaking at the magnificent and exquisite building with a smile on her face, she still couldn't believe that she is in the college premises.

"So beautiful"She mumbled to herself.

"Hope I don't get lost" She added with a slight chuckle at the same time dragging her gown down a little since it is the elastic type and it can stretch. Nuella had effortlessly dolled her up making her look cute.

Just then, two cars drive in almost at the same time. The screaming and scampering of the students followed, everyone rushed out.

"What's going on?" She wondered standing right in spot.

The door to the sport car opened first and a boy stepped out of it. He stretched his hand forth towards the direction of the sun, the sun rays hits directly in his face.

"Awwn!"

"Cute!"

"Bluey!!!"

The girls, especially, screamed out.

The convertible opened next and for a brief moment no one stepped out. The screams doubled and the struggle to be at the front increased. The only person oblivious of the whole scenario was Rose.

Twinkle and Alexander,his friend, came out. Alexander smiled and also waved at the students while just a wink from Twinkle sent some girls fainting helplessly.

Bluey clenched his fingers tightly into a fist obviously jealous that Twinkle was now the centre of attention.

As they took their steps forward, the students gave way for them to pass leaving a free space. Rose who was still confused was now left right on their track, she wanted to move away quickly but Twinkle's voice stopped her.

"Hey" He called softly causing an uproar from the crowd of students

"His voice!!"

"First time seeing him close up!"

"She finally got what she wanted; his attention"

"I hate the fact that my Twinkle is talking to her!!"

"Who is she? A newbie perhaps"

Rose swallowed into nothing feeling uncomfortable, she played with her fingers with her head bowed down; she does that anytime she is nervous.

"She's so hot! Just take a look at those straight legs. Geez, to have em' on my bed this minute" Alexander said in a low voice but loud enough for Twinkle to hear.

"Are you in for a threesome?" He added

"Your name and department?" He asked Rose who was already trembling.

"I....i am Rose, actually.... I am a newbie....i...i am here on schloraship, i..." She found herself stuttering

"I've been waiting for you" Bluey said taking a step closer to Rose whose mouth flew open. She furrowed her brows more confused as ever.

"Bluey knows her?"

"A schloraship student?"

"Shocking!"

"I was talking to her first" Twinkle said turning to Bluey with a slight frown on his face.

"Rose, how about you choose who you want to go with? I or him?" Bluey asked turning to Rose with a smirk giving her a knowing smile.

Rose opened her mouth to speak but her lips trembled and no words came out of it. Her legs failed her, it shook. Beads of sweat had gathered on her forehead.

Twinkle raised a brow at her, everyone's eyes were on her obviously waiting for her reply.

"I...i....

Her words were cut short as she busted into tears crying shamelessly. The tears were flowing down her cheeks like a tap that has just been opened.

Her outburst shocked everyone, no one was expecting that from her.

"I don't want to do this please" Rose whimpered shaking her head sideways.

"I'll take her" A voice sounded from behind making heads turn.

~MAYBELL COLLEGE~

Her words were cut short as she busted into tears crying shamelessly. The tears were flowing down her cheeks like a tap that has just been opened.

Her outburst shocked everyone, no one was expecting that from her.

"I don't want to do this please" Rose whimpered shaking her head sideways.

"I'll take her" A voice sounded from behind making heads turn.

A gasp came from the crowd as their eyes landed on him, the one they least expected; Vince Lavender. Unlike his twin brother, he is not the type to show off and he is always on the low. He is the type to mind his business and never butt into others affairs.

"Oh my God!!"

"This is the first time I am hearing his voice"

"He's so cool!"

Without allowing anyone of them to say a word, he grabbed Rose hand leading her out of the crowd. He was literally dragging her so she had to run after him.

"It's hurts!" Rose whimpered trying to break free from his grip as his hold on her was really tight. That was when he comes to the realizationthat he was holding someone.

By this time, they had gotten to the rooftop and that was when he let her go. Rose massaged the place he held while sniffing in continuously.

"Are the tears real?" Vince couldn't help but ask.

"Huh?" Rose looked up to him that was when he saw her face fully. His eyes moved from her innocent and teary blue eyes to her straight and pointed nose then to her well shaped mouth and lips which gummed together like they haven't been kissed and then to her hair which was up to her waist level. Indeed, she was a beauty to behold, he couldn't help but drool.

She blinked her lashes rapidly feeling uncomfortable by his piercing and intense gaze. Subconciously, she took a step backwards and that jolted him back to reality.

"I'm sorry about that....do you cry over slight things like this? Or it was just an act up?" He repeated his question

"I didn't mean to cry, it just came and I couldn't stop it" She mumbled already feeling embarrassed.

"To survive in Maybell College, you have to act strong and don't let anyone intimidate you" He advised, taking a final glance at her, he left almost immediately

"Tsk....How scary!" She said sticking her tongue out behind him. She averted her gaze back to the rooftop view and a bright smile appeared on her face.

"I hope I enjoy my stay here" She said to herself.

Music was blaring loudly at all corner of the room but thankfully, the room is sound proof so it does not affect the other activities going on in the school as the sound of the music could not be heard outside.

Twinkle could be seen at one corner of the room with close to three girls around him. One was rocking on my D while another was drawing invisible lines on his chest. He just sat there smoking while enjoying the company of the ladies.

Alexander on the other hand was dancing wildly with some of the girls obviously enjoying his life to the fullest.

Just then the door busted open and Beryl walked in fuming angrily, she went straight to the speaker and disconnected the system. The entire fun came to an abrupt end.

"What the hell is going on here?" She questioned no one in particular but she got no reply. Just with a signal from Twinkle, the girls rushed out of the combo.

"Are you ready to talk now?" She repeated going over to meet Twinkle who just stood up

"It's how you see it" He replied with a slight shrug. Beryl is the only female friend he has, she is someone who is very close to Twinkle, one would even think they are dating but they are not.

"You should have called me at least" She snapped,back hugging him

"I miss you" She added

Alexander chuckled lightly only to receive a deaths glare from her. She gave him an eyes signal which he understood immediately and left the room.

"I miss how you feel inside of me" She continued in a low voice taking slow paces to his front. Standing on her tiptoe, she slammed her lips on his. The rest of his self control flew out through the window, he grabbed her by her waist taking charge.

"It's Bluey!"

"There is an extra seat here"

"He's so cute"

Rose shifted in discomfort as Bluey settled down beside her. She tried her best to concentrate on the book she was reading not sparing him a glance

"Mind if you attend my birthday party tonight? I am inviting you personally" He said pushing an invitation card to her

"Did she just get an invitation card?"

"I would pay millions to have it"

"I wish I can attend the party"

"I don't think....

"Please don't say no" He cuts her off staring deep into her eyeballs. Rose bit her bottom lips thinking of an excuse of give him.

"I'll take that as a yes, I'll be expecting you" He said standing up, he pecked her on her cheeks before leaving.

Rose eyes dilated in shock, she quickly used her hand to wipe the exact spot he kissed.

"Awwn!!"

"I find it gross"

"Did she bewitch him or something?"

"She got what she wanted; his attention"

Rose took a deep breathe concentrating back on her book, ignoring their comments.
