Neglected By My Mates

CASSIE POV

Exhausted and overwhelmed but still needing to tackle the never-ending chores of cleaning the house; I dragged myself to the cupboard and grabbed my usual cleaning supplies and put on some music as I began to work. Slowly but surely I made my way through each room and made a list of each task that needed to be done and those that were completed. By the time I was finished, I had managed to get through most of the cleaning and felt a sense of accomplishment.

Even though I was still tired, I was proud of what I accomplished. I went to my room, check the time it was almost 11pm, I sat on my bed, thinking about the celebration of tomorrow, the alpha coronation and it's also the day I would get to meet my wolf and mate but I was feeling nervous about it.

A lot of questions was running through my mind , what if my mate doesn't like me? What if he reject me? I was getting frustrated already I couldn't stop thinking of the possibility of getting rejected by my mate.

"Shut up and keep your negative thoughts to yourself, how will you be thinking negatively about our mate, I know he will love and cherish us." My wolf Nikky said angrily.

Well she is obviously angry with me but I can feel that she is also scared about the possibility of me being right.

"Sorry, Nikky I'm just scared, I don't want our mate to reject us just like my parents did. He is our only hope I pray he love and cherish us." I said lying down on my bed.

"Then stop thinking negatively, you should be thinking about how our first night with our mate would look like, does he like sex very much, what's his favorite sex position, does he love to be on top, his he romantic, his he..."

"Nikky! Can you stop your lustful thinking for once, you know I don't really care about sex I just want him to love me, and besides I haven't had sex before I don't know how it feels like." I said cutting her off.

"Well that's for you Cassie, as for me I don't want to die a virgin and besides I heard sex is very good for the health, so tomorrow morning before the alpha coronation begins let's go to the library."

"Why are we going to the library?, I have work to do tomorrow is the alpha coronation and you know I'm in charge of cleaning and putting everything together."

"Yes I know, that was why I said will should go in the morning. We need to look for some erotic books, so that will could learn some sex position, in case we meet our mate tomorrow." She said smiling like a child that has been given lollipop sweet.

I couldn't help but laugh at how silly she is, all she knows is that she don't want to die a virgin she don't even care if her mate loves her or not. "Nikky I don't know what you are talking about all I know is that tomorrow is the alpha coronation and also my birthday I have a lot of work to do I don't have time to go to the library to feed your sexual fantasies."

"What!! You boring human." She said angrily.

"Good night Nikky, I need to sleep I have a lot of work tomorrow, I don't want to wake up late." "No Cassie, I can't let you sleep, let's talk about it first, you can't sleep now, we need to prepare for tomorrow what if we meet our mate tomorrow and we can't perform well?"

"Nikky, I really need to sleep I'm tired, we will talk about it tomorrow." I said closing my eyes. "Okay fine, Good night then, we can finish our discussion tomorrow."

"Good night Nikky." ************************************************ "Cassie, wake up, wake up. Mariam is coming, you need to wake up." Ella my co-maid shouted while tapping my body.

I woke up immediately, only to see a scared Ella and an angry cold eyes, Mariam holding a bucket of water before I could say anything she empty the bucket of cold water on me.

"You lazy slave, you are still sleeping didn't you check the time, don't you know what today is?" She said staring out me angrily before I could say anything again she hit me with the bucket in her hand.

"Shut up you don't speak when I'm speaking, are you mad." She said in an angry tone.

But before I could contain my anger my wolf took control of me without my consent.

"You are the one that is mad, you crazy fat fool, you shapeless amoeba, what makes you think you can control us, now I get why you don't have a mate, you ugly piece of trash." My wolf Nikky screamed at her angrily.

Before giving me back the control, now I'm standing in front of a furious lioness, waiting to pounce on me.

I'm so dead What I'm I going to do now?

Nikky what have you done?

"Nikky what have you done, are you trying to get us killed, I ask her.

"Of course not, we won't die. The moon goddess is with us, don't worry she is going to save us."she said acting innocent.

"Well, there is no need for you to act innocent now, we are already dead." I said moving back from the angry Mariam that was roaring like an angry lioness staring at me like a prey she was ready to devour.

"We can't die now, I haven't even met my mate, cassie I'm not ready to die a virgin, we plan to go to the library to get some exotic novels, please we can't die do something." My wolf Nikky kept on screaming in my head.

"You would have thought of that before causing trouble for us, now we are going to die." I said terrified but still moving backwards till my body hit the wall.

"Do something I'm not ready to die a virgin." She said again, which got me upset, we are going to die but all she is worried about was dying a virgin, how come the moon goddess pair me up with an Horny wolf.

"Wait are you being serious right now, at the brink of death you are still thinking about dying a virgin?" I asked getting furious but before I could react again an angry Mariam came at me in full force I was lucky enough to be fast and dodge her.

I ran as quick as I can without looking back. I ran as quick as my legs could carry me, I never knew I could ran this fast until today, I could sense she is still chasing after me so I continue running till I bumped into someone. Alpha Damien Zea, the future alpha of dark moon pack.

I'm so dead.

"Well Nikky, I guess we will be dying a virgin because if Mariam don't kill us, alpha Damien would." I said losing all hope of living.

KING SCOTT POV

"Scott wake up, today is the alpha coronation, you need to be there." John my beta said while trying to wake me up.

"I don't feel like going, tell them to cancel it." I said trying to get back to sleep.

"What? are you been serious right now, you heartless jerk, get up now and stop behaving like a demon, I thought Damien was your friend and besides it not your coronation or party, you just need to be there as the king of all supernatural creatures, it's one of your obligations." John stated with his lecture voice. Is he really starting his lecturing , this morning, I just feel like ripping his head off, I need to sleep not to go to some stupid coronation party, where those stupid and greedy werewolves are.

This is starting to piss me off. I should just kill this stupid beta right? So I can sleep peacefully, staring at John I sat up rethinking my options.

"We should kill him." My wolf, Seth said smiling devilishly.

"No killing him, it will make me look like a monster, I'm not a monster." I said disagreeing with the idea of killing my beta and best friend.

"Hahaha are you being serious right now, you are already a monster, or have you forgotten?" Seth asked with a devilish grin plastered on his face.

"Fine, I know, but I don't want to be an ugly demon, I want to be an handsome demon, and also I don't want to kill my best friend."

"Well fine, I won't force you, but you know I don't like this guy at all right?" He asked.

"Yeah I know." I replied while standing up I walked in to the bathroom to take a quick shower..

Few minutes later I came out from the bathroom and get dressed putting on a dark suit and my Rolex wristwatch, I brushed my hair, staring at myself in the mirror I couldn't help but admire how handsome I looked.

Now I need to go see my father in the dungeon, I can't go anywhere without torturing him a little bit, I guess he missed me already.

I was walking in to the dungeon when the smell of blood hit my nostrils, while stiffening it in, I smiled devilishly, I love the smell of blood it's so refreshing, I was walking to the dungeon where my father was kept when I heard a familiar agonizing cry, and I smiled again I guess my men are really doing a great job at torturing him.

I walked into the room and saw the monster that calls himself my father lying on his own pool of blood half dead, a devilish grin appeared on my lips again.

"Keep him alive." I said to them and walked away seeing my father in pain made my day, it's gave me a lot of joy, I'm so happy. People think he is dead, people are terrified of me because they thought I killed him.

"Why don't you just kill him and get it over with, it's so boring torturing him every day, let's just rip his throat out." My wolf Seth suggested acting bored.

"No, I want him to suffer, I want to see him beg for me to kill him every day. I want him to suffer for all the pains he made mom go through, I want him to suffer for killing her, I want him to suffer for trying to kill me and taking the possibility for me to see my mate, because of him I can never meet my mate." I said to my wolf while walking into my car.

CASSIE POV

After bumping in alpha Damien, surprisingly he was sweet and nice he even apologized to me, I was so glad that he wasn't offended and also he told Mariam the head maid to let me be. I was so excited that I thanked him a million he laughed and left.

He is so cute.

"He is so sweet, I wish he was our mate." My wolf Nikky said smiling, though I could not see her but I can feel anything she do in my head and I could also hear her.

"Can you just shut up for once, you almost got us killed, if it weren't for the alpha we would have been lying dead by now." I scolded her.

"I'm sorry cassie, I couldn't sit back and watch that crazy woman insult us." She said looking sad.

"It's fine, now everything is okay." I replied walking inside.

The coronation has started, almost all the guests has arrived. I wore my uniform and took a tray full With glass of win and started serving the guest.

I was still serving the guest when a unique scent of fresh mint hit me, I knew my mate was near, but where was he, I started moving towards were the scent was coming from.

The more I move the more the scent increases. I stop when I saw a guy on black suit walking inside the coronation he stop and stares at me, we couldn't break eye contact then the words left our lips at the same time.

"MATE."

Then he broke eye contact with me, turn around, walk into his car and he left.

Wait! He just left without saying anything, not even a hi.

Did my mate just abandon me, but why, what did I do wrong. I could feel Nikky pain, she was sad and frustrated so was I,

We have been waiting for this day for a long time, my biggest fear was getting rejected but now I'm facing my biggest fear what I'm I going to do, I broke down tearing dripping down from my eyes. I tried so hard to be strong but I couldn't hold the pain anymore.

Feeling my pains and Nikky pain was not an easy task I dropped the tray of wine on the floor i cried my eyes out, I just couldn't hold the pain anymore, it was just too much for me to bear, should I just kill my self, maybe this feeling will stop, this feeling of rejection. And the painful part was Nikky wasn't saying anything, she just kept mute.

AUTHOR POV

staring at the door way feeling hurt, abandoned and rejected. She couldn't believe that her only hope of finding love jest neglected her, she ran into her room ignoring the guest staring at her, she shut the door and fell on the floor crying, she couldn't stop the tears running down her eyes.

Her worst nightmare has come to pass.

All her life, Cassie as been neglected and abandoned, her mother left her when she was little. Her drug addict and abusive father was killed when he stole the packs money to gamble when she was just 9 years old.

Since then she had to come to the pack house and work as a slave to be able to pay her father's unending debts.

She was bullied and laugh out by every one the only friend and companion she had was her wolf, the only thing that kept her going was the thought of finding her mate, who will love and cherish her no matter what, but now that she met him, he just left without saying anything, now she wish she never met him, she was so sad that she cry her eyes out.

"There is nothing left for me here anymore, I should just leave now." She said packing her bags, when she was done, she stood up and left her room.

This was a perfect time for her to sneak out and run away without anyone knowing.

She took her bag and walk out of her room, passing the back door she snuck out of the pack house without anyone noticing, luckily for her there was no guards at the gate so she ran through it, she ran as fast as her legs could carry her without looking back, when she found out she was far away from the pack, then she fell down and broke into tears, yes she was free but where will she start from here.

She was tire and exhausted, and her wolf Nikky has refused to say anything, Nikky was her only companion, but now she couldn't even feel her anymore.

KING SCOTT POV

this is impossible, there is a mistake somewhere, it not possible for me to see my mate, unless the curse has been destroyed or lifted which is not possible, I turn around ignoring my wolf nagging for me to go to our mate, I got into the car and left the coronation.

I need to go to the palace i need to see Sarah the palace witch, I'm sure she has a better explanation for this.

My father tried to kill me by sacrificing me to some stupid deity to gain immortality when I was just 14 years old, luckily Sarah a witch and my mother's friend saved me by interrupting the ritual and using a spell to trap my father from sacrificing me but unfortunately a curse was laid on me due to the half ritual, I can never find or meet my mate that was the curse and that was when I lock my father in the dungeon and I made people think I killed him.

But now I saw my mate and it was surprising and overwhelming and also impossible I can't talk to her before confirming if my mind was not playing tricks on me that why I need to see Sarah, so she can give me a perfect explanation and confirmation.

"Why didn't you talk to our mate, we have waited a long time for a mate, now that the moon goddess finally comes to her senses and bless us with one you just left her without saying anything to her, what kind of a foolish human are you?" My wolf Seth asked getting angry and frustrated trying to come out, stop the car and run back to our mate.

"Seth you need to calm down both of us know that it's not possible for us to get a mate, we need to see Sarah first to confirm it, maybe there is a mistake, let's confirm it first and we will go back and get her." I said trying to keep him in control.

"No, I don't buy that there's no mistake, I'm sure of that, maybe the curse has be lifted." Seth said with a serious look.

"Maybe? You see we don't know for sure that why we need to confirm it, and besides she is not going anywhere we can always find her." I said getting out from the car because we were already in the palace.

I ran into the palace heading straight to Sarah's room getting a surprise looks from the maids in the palace, I saw them bowing their heads down to greet me but I ignored them and kept walking until I bumped into John my beta, his eyes widened in surprise.

Then I remembered about the coronation.

SHIT!

I went there but I didn't even show my face, I just left immediately I saw my mate, well my mate is more important then the coronation so I don't have anything to regret.

"Why are you here, I thought you went to Damien coronation, why are you here so early?" John asked with a surprise look on his face but I just ignored him and headed to Sarah room, I'm not ready for his lecture, just yet, right now I need to speak to Sarah as soon as possible.

I walked into Sarah room without knocking, I saw her reading a magic book as usual.

"Where are your manners, don't you know how to knock?" She said closing the book and facing me.

I smiled and kiss her on the cheek, ever since my mom died. Sarah has been like a mother to me and I love her so much, she gestures for me to sit.

"What is wrong? Why are you here? Ain't you supposed to be at alpha Damien coronation? What happened? She throws a lot of questions at me, leaving me confused on the one to answer first so I just ignored all of them and told her why I was here.

"I saw my mate today at the alpha coronation." I said waiting eagerly for her reaction.

"What how is that possible?" She said looking surprised.

"That's my thoughts exactly, but I'm sure I felt the mate bond and she also felt it too, she even called me her mate." I said smiling happily.

"Okay let's check if the curse has been lifted." She said pulling out a book from a shelf and a secret door open she pull me and we both walk inside.
