🌿🌿 ISABELLA POV 🌿🌿

My heart raced with excitement as I get prepared for the most important day of my life. Today, I would officially become a member of the Moonlight Pack, the most powerful werewolf pack in the country.

I stood in front of the mirror, adjusting my dress and brushing my long dark hair, but I couldn't shake off the feeling of uneasiness. Ever since I arrived at the pack, I had noticed the tension amongst the members. And now, on the day of my induction, that tension seem to intensified.

I tried to push those thoughts aside and focused on the task at hand. I have to swear my allegiance to the pack and Alpha Liam.

Alpha Liam is my mate and I couldn't wait to officially become his mate in front of the entire pack. As I made my way towards the pack meeting hall, I look around the hall to see the elders of the pack sitted at one side and the omegas at the main hall.

My heart raced as I stood before the grand assembly, my hand trembling as I clutched the ancient amulet the symbol of trust bestowed upon me by the pack. The words I was about to say would alter the course of my destiny.

"Isabella, do you swear to protect and uphold the laws of our pack, to serve with unwavering loyalty and honor?" Alpha Xavier's voice resonated through the hall.

"I Isabella Brook swear to protect and uphold the law of the Moonlight Pack and serve them with Loyalty and honor" I repeated after Xaiver with determination in my voice to serve the pack.

All the werewolves in moonlight pack was staring at me as it make me a little bit nervous, amidst of the quietness in the hall a sudden commotion disturbed the assembly.

A messenger burst into the assembly, panic was obvious on his face.

"Alpha, there is an urgent news from the neighboring pack! They accuse Isabella of treachery and spying!" the messager said bowing down to Liam.

Gasps filled the room, disbelief on many peoples faces but when I look at Alpha Xavier, his expression was unreadable.

"Is this true, Isabella?" he asked me as his voice cut through the tension in the hall, his eyes holding a mix of accusation and disappointment.

My heart begin to beat faster, I was speechless and shocked at the same time, the false accusations and the murmuring of the people is not helping matters.

"No, Alpha! I swear by the moon, I have never betrayed our pack or even spy!" I said.

Then people started whispering among themselves.

"Remove her from the assembly immediately" Xavier commanded his voice was firm with authority.

My eyes widened in shock with hurt as I was escorted out of the assembly, the weight of betrayal was heavy upon my shoulder. Different thought runs through my mind.

"I swear Alpha Liam, I didn't do it, I know nothing about what I was accused of" I said crying as Liam did not belive me.

Alone in my chambers, my heart pounded against my chest at the false accusations.

Maybe they are mistakened, I tried to give my self a little hope while waiting for Liam to solve the issue.

My brain kept remembering the false accusations as it keep ringing in my mind, the strange glances the pack member gave me, the silent whispers and the look of a traitor. My once treasured amulet is now useless.

My wolf Tina, whimpered softly within me, sensing the extreme pain that consumed my spirit.

"They don't believe us, Tina. They think we betrayed them" I whispered as my voice cracking with hurt.

"We know the truth Isabella, our loyalty to the pack has never been false" my wolf spoke within my mind in reassurance amidst of the problem that is going on.

I was watching the moon in the sky from the window when I heard a soft knock on the door which startled me. I wiped away my tears, composing myself before responding.

"Enter" I said while sitting on the bed.

The door creaked open, revealing Omega Jasper.

"What's going on?" Isabella asked, as my heart starting to beat faster with fear.

"Alpha Liam requests your presence in his study," Jasper said his voice low.

My mind raced with different thought. Did something happen? Without another word, I followed Jasper to Alpha Liam's study. As we walked towards Liam study, all the members were whispering among themselves.

When we reached the study, Jasper knocked on the door before stepping aside to let me enter. I took a deep breath and stepped inside, only to come face to face with Liam, his expression grave and serious.

"Isabella, we have a problem," he said, his voice cold and distant my heart sank.

"What is it?" I asked, trying to keep my voice steady.

"Several members of the pack have accused you of treason and they claim it is true" Liam said, his words hitting me like a ton of bricks.

My mind couldn't process what I was hearing.

"I-I don't understand" I stammered, my voice shaking with disbelief.

"The evidence is overwhelming, Isabella," Liam said, his eyes filled with sadness.

"I have no choice but to confine you to your chamber until we can sort this out." he said.

"I swear by the moon and all that is sacred Alpha, I have never betrayed our pack and I will never do that" I said as my voice shaked with sincerity, I locked my eyes with his in desperation for me to know if he believes me or trust me.

Xavier's eyes bore into mine searching for the truth, his silence is making me panic.

"Liam say something, tell me you trust me, tell me you believe me" I said tears stream down my face as I turned his face to my direction.

"I want to believe you, Isabella but.... " Liam voice softened.

"But the evidence presented..." he continued.

"I understand, Alpha. But I swear I didn't do all what they are accusing me of" my voice shakes as my heart bled. My world came crashing down.

I was escorted back to my chamber by Jasper, my mind raced with a lot questions and doubts. Who could have done this ? And why? I couldn't think of anyone who would want to harm me or maybe someone who i have offended in the present or in the past.

I walked back into my room with heavy heart, sadness and confusion, I couldn't help but wonder if there was more to this accusation than what meets the eyes. I drifted off to sleep, I couldn't shake off the feeling that things were about to get a lot worse before they got better.

Little did she know, this was only the beginning.

🌿 LIAM POV 🌿

THE NEXT DAY

I assembled the council of my trusted pack member including Isabella, concerning Isabella matter with the pack.

"Ladies and gentlemen of the council, we gather to examine the accusations against Isabella. All evidence point to her involvement in treacherous activities, we must detect the truth" I said as my voice echo in the quiet room.

The council members exchanged glances among themselves, while some of them was murmuring.

One of the pack member stepped forward, holding out a pouch.

"Alpha, this was found within Isabella's quarters, a pouch containing symbols and seal foreign to our pack. They reek of dark magic" he said presenting the evidence forward to the whole council.

Murmurs break out within the council.

"Silent please" I said with visible anger as my gaze was fixed on the pouch. I collected the punch and checked it out.

"Moreover" another council member spoke up several witnesses claim to have seen Isabella engaging in secret meetings at the edge of the woods, exchanging cryptic messages with outsiders" he said.

My brow furrowed, in confusion.

"I... I have never engaged in such activities, I swear" Isabella's voice trembled as I stood before the council.

"I swear by the moon and all that I hold, I have been framed, I know nothing about this infact I haven't seen nor touch this pouch" Isabella said trying to defend herself.

The council members exchanged questioning glances among each other. My expression remained unreadable as I find it hard to trust Isabella and the obvious evidence against her.

"We must investigate further" I declared.

"Until then, Isabella will remain restricted under strict surveillance" I said as I step out of the meeting.

Isabella was escorted back to her chamber for further investigation as I went back to my chamber.

Chapter Two: The Rejected Mate

🌿🌿 ISABELLA POV 🌿🌿

As the days passed, all evidence was pointing directly to me, I was found guilty of treason against the pack which I know I didn't do.

Everyone one gathered at the market square for the for my final judgement.

"You are now a traitor and a traitor can never be my mate" Liam said with visible hatred.

"Liam, I swear......" I said.

"You don't have the right to talk while am still talking" he said and I kept quiet.

"I ALPHA LIAM PARKER REJECTED YOU ISABELLA BROOK AS MY MATE" he said as his eyes was red in anger.

My heart squeezed in and uncontrollable pain and I staggered backwards unable to maintain my balance.

"I ISABELLA BROOK ACCEPT YOUR REJECTION" I accept the rejection with a heavy heart as drop of tears fell from my eyes.

"Just so you know you are now a rogue. Isabella, by the laws of our pack, you are hereby sentenced to death by sunrise" Liam dropped the bombshell without any emotions written on his face.

As soon as the words left Alpha Liam's mouth, the entire pack gasped in shock. No one could believe what they were hearing. The most feared Alpha in the werewolf world was rejecting his own mate, and he just pronunce death by sunrise for his mate. And not just any mate, but the one who had been by his side since childhood.

I stood frozen in place, my heart shattering into a million pieces. I couldn't believe that the man I loved with every fiber of my being was rejecting me and not just that, am going to be killed my sunrise.

Alpha Liam's eyes were cold without feelings as he stared at me. He had made his decision and there was no going back. He couldn't afford to show any signs of weakness, especially in front of his pack.

The punishment for treason was death and he had to uphold that law, even if it meant sacrificing his own mate. He couldn't let his emotions get in the way of his duties as an Alpha.

I tried to process everything that is happening but I couldn't understand what is happening, I have been nothing but loyal and devoted to him, and now I am being rejected and sentenced to death. Tears welled up in my eyes, but I refused to let them fall. I wouldn't give Alpha Liam the satisfaction of seeing me break down.

The pack members were murmuring amongst themselves, shocked at the turn of events. They had all witnessed the love between Alpha Liam and I, and now it was being torn apart.

As the pack started leaving the market square, I stood rooted to the spot, unable to move. Alpha Liam walked past me, his eyes avoiding mine, and I felt a stab of pain in my heart. I couldn't believe that the man I loved could be so cold and heartless. But I know deep down that it wasn't him, it was his duty as an Alpha that was dictating his actions, I tried to convince myself.

My thoughts was interrupted by a loud howl of wolves from the distance. Suddenly, a hand touched my shoulder and I turned to see my best friend, Emma, standing beside me with tears in her eyes.

"I can't believe this is happening," Emma whispered, her voice shaking with emotion.

"I know," I replied her, my voice barely above a whisper.

"But I have to face it. I won't let Alpha Liam see me weak" I said.

"Just please take care of my mum and make sure she use her medication everything day" I told Emma, she nodded in understanding.

As I walked out of the market square going to my confined chamber, my heart skipped a beat when I saw a group of rogues approaching. They were led by a tall, muscular man with piercing green eyes, we locked eyes for a few seconds.

My mind was filled with questions. Why were the rogues here? What did they want? But before I could get any answers, Alpha Liam's voice boomed through the the silent space.

"What do you want" Alpha Liam asked as his expression remain cold.

The group of rouge did answers, instead they keep matching towards the market square. Moonlight pack solider gather in position ready to attack. The group of rogues suddenly charged towards moonlight soliders, their howls filling the air.

The rogues were attacking the pack, but why? Before I could process any more thoughts, I felt a sharp pain in my side and I collapsed to the ground.

As my vision blurred and darkness consumed me, I couldn't help but wonder if this was the end for me. I been betrayed by my own mate and saved by my enemies? And what was the true reason behind Alpha Liam's rejection? With these thoughts, I slipped into unconsciousness, not knowing what fate had in store for me.

When I woke up at the middle of the night, I meet my self in my chamber as I check my body but didn't see any injury. It must have healed, I thought.

😈 AUTHOR POV 😈

Meanwhile, outside the pack, Isabella's mother, Serena trusted her daughter so much that she is sure she wasn't responsible for what she was accuse of.

In the dead of night under the cloak of darkness, Serena went into the forbidden lands seeking the ancient knowledge and hidden magic that was hidden there by her acenstor. The ancient magic is forbidden spell that is no longer in use, it is a passage to escape the pack's territor.

As it was almost dawn, Serena completed the ritual. The ancient magic crackled in the air showing an invisible path beyond the pack's boundaries and escape route for her daughter.

Serena sneaked into Isabella chamber while everyone was asleep.

"Isabella, there is little time you must follow me now, this is your only chance to escape death" Serena said with a worried expression.

Isabella's eyes widened in disbelief at her mother's unexpected appearance.

"But how...?" Isabella asked.

Run, Isabella. Run as fast as you can," Serena said panting.

"There is no time for questions. Isabella, you have got to go now before sunrise" Serena said urgently she guided her daughter through a hidden path made by the magic she found.

"I can't leave you, Mom please come with me " Isabella said scared and confused.

"You have to, it is your only chance to live, it is the only chance for you to survive" Serena replied looking into her eyes daughter with tears in her eyes

With a final look at the pack, Isabella stepped into the shinning passage leaving behind her pack, her fate, and her mother.

As the passage faded, Serena watched her daughter disappear into the unknown world as she felt relieved with the sacrifice she made to ensure Isabella's survival.

🌿 ISABELLA POV 🌿

As I disappeared through that shinny path, I felt like everything changed in a blink. It was like stepping into a whole new world, I was scared and lonely. I wished I could just turn back and hug my mummy one last time, but it was too late.

I was worried about my mum, because someone saw my mom helping me. The pack isn't going to like this and I'm so scared my mum have to sacrifice her life to save me. I heard the commotion from afar, the sounds of struggle and angry voices. My heart raced as I realized what was happening.

"MOM!" I screamed, but it was useless. I was too far away trapped in this strange new place. I wanted to run back, to help her, but I didn't even know where I was.

Tears streamed down my face as I imagined the worst. I knew the pack wouldn't take it lightly to someone helping a 'traitor' like me. My mom risked it all to save me and now she is in danger because of it.

"It was all my fault, If I hadn't been accused, if I hadn't been in that mess, Mom wouldn't be in danger now" I said as my wolf tried to console me.

I curled up, hugging myself tight, not knowing what else to do. All I could do was hope and pray that somehow Mom would make it out of there alive. But in my heart I feared the worst I know nothing can be done, no one there can save her. My only chance to make her happy now is to survive and honor her sacrifice.

"I MUST REVENGE ON EVERYONE THAT IS BEHIND MY CURRENT PREDICAMENT, I WILL HUNT EVERY ONE OF THEM AND KILL THEM ONE BY ONE," I said with determination.

As I got to the strange city I was lost and unsure of where to go, every where looked strange including the tall big skyscraper that you can never see in the pack.

As I wandered on the street of the unknown world, I stumbled upon a small clothing shop.

"Tina we need cloth, because what we put on is different from what other people are wearing" I said talking to my wolf.

Ask I got into a clothing store across the street, I was looking around touching the beautiful cloth when a man walked towards me.

"Hey there, do you need any help?" he asked with a friendly smile.

"Oh, um, hi. I'm just trying to figure things out" I replied shyly.

"No worries, I can see you are lost why don't you come in and let me get you a proper dress" he said still smiling at me.

"Really? That would be amazing! Thank you" I exclaimed feeling relieved and happy that someone is willing to help me.

I think I have to start my life from here I whispered to myself.

Chapter Four: Unexpected Meeting

🌿🌿 LIAM POV 🌿🌿

I didn't want to believe the accusations against Isabella, I didn't want to believe all the accusation was right but when all the evidence are point towards her I have no choice as Alpha then to give the right judgement. The rogue wolves came to our territory which is unusual, it have never happened in history. This seems to be making some sense, I thought trying to connect the dots together

A pack member rushed into my chambers breathless.

"Alpha Xavier, I have seen something strange" he said panting his voice filled with shock and fear.

"What is it?" I asked as I was feeling a little bit uneasy.

"I saw... I saw Serena, Isabella's mother, helping Isabella escape" the pack member said as I eyes wide in shock.

"She helped the traitor?" I asked again to be sure of what I just heard.

"Yes, Alpha it happened just before dawn, near the edge of the forbidden lands. Isabella disappeared through some glowing passage" he said still trying to catching his breath.

"Summon the council" I ordered.

As the council gathered, tension filled the air.

"We have received a reports of Serena assisting the traitor and the traitor is no where to be found" I said.

"And she is going to face the consequences for her actions" I said with a stern expression.

"Serena will be sentenced to execution at sunrise" I announced.

"I'm also placing a bounty on Isabella head, anyone that can get me Isabella Willow's head within the next seven day, the person will receive a huge price and will also be promoted" I said as the people in the market square started murmuring.

TWO WEEKS AFTER THE DEATH OF ISABELLA'S MOTHER.

I was sitting alone in my chambers thinking about what happened 5 days ago but the accusation didn't sit well with me.

I couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off, Isabella isn't the only one involve in this. I was still lost in my thought when my beta Evan walked into my chamber.

"Alpha, I can see you are worried, hope no problem" Evan asked me.

"Evan, this accusation again Isabella don't sit well with me, what if she was framed and what if she isn't the only one behind the treason she was accused of that is there is more to what we are seeing" I said hoping for a positive answer.

"It is all true Alpha, beside all the evidence was pointing fingers to her. She might not be the only one involve, but am very sure she is involved and there are some people in the pack or outside this pack that are involved. So we don't have to put our guard down" he said.

"Now that her mother save her, that is enough reasons to belive she is involved in the accusations?" My beta said.

"I can't believe Isabella would betray us. It just doesn't seem right," I admitted.

"There's more to this issue, Alpha" he said as he placed some files on the table.

"We are having a conference meeting in the human world next week" Evan said.

"Ooh, hope it is nothing serious" I asked as I was walking towards the bathroom to take my bath.

🌿 ISABELLA 🌿

The guy from the clothing store, Blake have been the one helping me out ever since I left the pack and came to the human world. I got to know where I was the next day I came here.

I didn't let him know I was a wolf because I don't know how is going to take that information in. We are current going to a restaurant to have a lunch today, Blake have been so nice to me and I owe him a lot.

As we were taking a stroll on the road I noticed someone was trailing me, I was so scared cause I don't know anyone here. We finally got to the restaurant not too far from his store.

As I walked into the restaurant I met the shock of my life LIAM. Liam, his beta and some other strange face was sitted around the VIP table. He whispered something into his beta ears, his eyes widened and shock was written all over his face when he saw me.

I had to tell Blake I was going to the restroom when I got in I took a deep breath I was still rinsing my face when I heard the door to the restroom got opened.

"Wow, look who we got here" Liam said clapping his hands as he closed the door behind, I was so shocked that I can't compose the right sentence.

"Hello mate, how is life outside the pack or should I said how is life as a CRIMINAL" he said as he walk towards me.

The air was thick with tension as Alpha Liam stared deep into my eyes as we locked eyes. It had been a few months since our last encounter, and I have been avoiding the pack territory ever since. I have hoped to hide in the human world, but fate had a different plan for me.

Alpha Liam's eyes were burning with fury, his wolf instincts screaming at him to attack and eliminate the threat in front of him. I try to keep my emotions in check, knowing that any wrong move could result in my death. And I have no intention of fighting Alpha Liam.

I also couldn't risk revealing my true identity.

"What are you doing here?" Alpha Liam growled, his voice low and menacing.

I forced myself to remain calm and composed.

"I could ask you the same question, Alpha. I have as much right to be here as you do." I said without any emotion.

Alpha Liam's eyes narrowed at me and his nostrils flaring.

"You have no right to be anywhere near me or my pack. You are a rogue, an enemy." he said.

I couldn't deny the truth in his words,I had once been a rogue, a lone wolf without a pack. But now, I have found a new home with the humans, and I didn't plan on going back to my old ways. However, I can't reveal my true intentions to Alpha Liam. He wouldn't understand.

"I have no intention of causing any trouble, Alpha. I just wanted to enjoy a peaceful meal" Isabella responded, keeping my tone neutral.

Alpha Liam's eyes raked over me, his gaze filled with suspicion. "You are lying. I can smell the scent of my pack on you. You have been near our territory" he said as his eyes start change to it's wolf form.

My heart skipped a beat, knowing that I have been caught. I couldn't reveal the truth, but I also couldn't come up with a convincing lie.

Before I could respond, a loud commotion interrupted our conversation. A group of humans had entered the restaurant, causing a distraction. I took the opportunity to slip away, knowing that I couldn't risk being seen by any of the werewolves in the restaurant.

I made my way to the back exit, as my heart raced with fear. I have to get out of there before Alpha Liam catch up with me. But just as I reached the exit, a strong hand grabbed my wrist, pulling me back.

"Where do you think you're going, rogue?" Alpha Liam snarled, his grip tightening.

My heart pounded in my chest as I struggled to break free from his hold. I knew I couldn't outrun him, but I can't reveal my true strength in front of humans.

"I don't want any trouble, Alpha. Please, let me go" I pleaded, hoping that he would listen to me.

But Alpha Liam's wolf was in control, his instincts taking over. He pulled me closer, his eyes glowing with a dangerous intensity.

"You have caused enough trouble already. You will pay for trespassing on my territory" he whispered huskily into my ears biting my earlobes.

I know I was running out of options. I can't reveal my true identity, but I also can't let Alpha Liam harm me. In a split second, I use all my strength to push him away and make a run for it.

Alpha Liam was caught off guard, he stumbled back as I run out through the exit. I run as fast as I could, not looking back until I was a safe distance away.

I was sure I have lost him, I slowed down, trying to catch my breath. But before I could take another step, I felt a sharp pain in my side. I looked down to see teaser lodged into my skin, causing me to collapse to the ground.

I looked up to see Alpha Liam standing, a teaser his hand.

"You should have just surrendered, rogue" he said as he smirked.

I tried to crawl away, but my body is too weak from the teaser. I closed my eyes, waiting for the end to come.

But instead, I felt someone pick me up and carry me away. I opened my eyes to see the person but it was an unfamiliar face.

"what are you doing here?" Alpha Liam asked the strange person.

"It is none of your business Liam" the deep voice said, I couldn't hear anything again as I fell into an unconscious starte.

😈 UNKNOWN 😈

I carried her to into my car and drove towards her residential area. l have been keeping an eye on her since she left the pack and came to the human world. I stalked her in to the restaurant and followed her, knowing that she was in trouble.

"Hello sir " I said as I picked up my phone.

"Yes everything is going as planned" I replied.
