NOT ALONE

Noise .

Everywhere is just so noisy that I feel stuffed .

I feel like I can't breathe .

I needed peace and quiet to go about my own shit too but it can't be helped I guessed.

With my headphone on my ear, I walk faster and tried to hide my tears but they started to trickle down my cheeks .

This is the 21st century and normally people aren't supposed to believe vampires and werewolves exist ,witches and wizards even. so why did those stupid humans come to our forte and kill my family?!.

We lived deep in the woods ,none of us made contact to the human world so why did they come starting trouble ? urghhhhh, I'm pissed.

I screamed and ran faster back into the woods , I just want to tear something apart. anything. kill anyone in sight .

I roared and fell down on the floor clinging to my chest , it hurts so much .

" dad....." I cried." mom....." .

why....you know that moment in your life where you just sit down and think " why me ?" this was one of them .

" did you hear that?" a voice said , it sounded human .

I immediately stood up and hid

"no ,what did you hear ?" another voice replied

" I heard someone crying"

" is that so ? maybe that's your mum missing you already" Bill joked

" cut the crap , bill" Tega said " anyways , let's head back home now .this forest is starting to give me the creeps "

I waited until they were gone and came out ,it was sure now .

Our forte wasn't safe anymore.

it means I needed to live here in order not to be caught dead too .

TEGA

I saw her- the girl crying- but she looked like she needed to be alone so I thought it was better bill and I left .

The next morning I ran back to the forest- a stupid thing I know - but for some reason I felt like if she came this deep into the to cry maybe this was like her " spot " But I couldn't find her .

I was disappointed and relieved at the same time . Relieved that she didn't come to cry again and disappointed because -I don't know why, I just was -

I checked the time " oh shoot, I'm going to be late " and ran .

I ran so fast that someone Infront of me started coming to view .

I was almost out of the forest when the person turned around and screamed " don't kill me please" and stumbled to the floor pleading.

I stopped taken aback " what?"

" please don't kill me "

Taking a closer view at the person, I realized it was that girl from yesterday" oh,it's you. why would I want to kill you ?" I peeped at my watch again" aish, look I'm running late for school, anyways sorry for frightening you " and with that said I ran but stopped in my tracks .

I knew she was frightened and I shouldn't be bothered about her , but I was .

I went back to her and helped her stand to her feet "you shouldn't be wondering the forest alone , you don't know what might be in here. I'll get going now" and with that said, I ran without looking back.

" Grandma, I'm here " I called out searching for my Grandma.

After the killing of my family, I decided to move to the city and live with my Grandmother.

I was on my way out of the forest when that human frightened me.

To be honest because of my sharp hearing, I heard footsteps running behind me so I thought he was after me to kill me plus I was still shaken over the loss of my family so I frightenedly begged for my life like a coward.

" maybe , I'm truly weak " I muttered " Grandma?" I called out .

but no response.

if it turns out that Grandma too is dead , I'm going to kill every human I see .

" you shouldn't touch that " a voice said behind me and I screamed and turned around

" so loud"Grandma complained

" you scared me, why didn't you say anything? I've been calling you since "

" out "

" what?"

" get out , you came in contact with a human ,did you not? you should have stayed outside until his scent left you. go out, take a walk around or something and come back later "

I walked out and stopped Infront of Grandma

" we are going to get revenge , right ?"

" the only thing you should be worried about getting right now is getting out . so hop to it "

" even if you don't , I will "

Grandma faced me sternly "don't do anything stupid and expose yourself, you can't even fight so what makes you think you can battle against humans who are more skilled with weapons than you are with your fist "

" that's right, I can't fight. that's why I'll let my anger do the talking . I'll get going now ,don't wait up for me "

Grandma loves me , but she always saw that I was weak and that fact annoyed me .

I was going to find out who killed my family..and I was going to make them pay.

" you are late "the PE teacher in charge of detention said

" yeah, I know. detention right ?I'll get going. bye " I headed towards the detention hall and that girl popped into my mind again .

" don't kill me " she had begged, but why ? was someone after her ? was she some sort of fugitive or so ? and why had she ran deep into the forest that day just to cry ? .

I know it is weird worrying about someone I don't even know but I can't help it .

After detention , I went to class and met up with Henry , my best bud

" late again , tiger " Henry said

" wasn't intentional "

" as if, you are ever late intentionally "

" oh, cut it out,Henry . I have bigger problems on my mind "

" like what ?"

I stayed quiet for a while .

I

didn't know how to bring up the girl to him without being teased.

" don't tell me...your dad is forcing you to become a hunter ?!"

" what ?! no , hell no "

Fun fact , or scary fact . My dad's a hunter and I hate it .

His job is to hunt down werewolves, vampires and those other mystical creatures but we all know that they don't exists.

His job is one of the most embarrassing things about him and no matter how hard I tell him to quit, he doesn't budge .

Once he believes something, he goes to the end of the earth to find it .

Our living expenses and my school fees is paid by mom ,the only one who does something useful for a living out of both of them .

"then what could be on your mind then ? "

" you know what , never mind that. what should we do after school? ".

" leave that up to me buddy , I'm gonna get something that blows your mind "

THE ODDS of meeting three times was 1, the chances of standing face to face was 0.

If you are good with probability just like I am then you would understand this calculation and that means you are a genius.

I am a genius, the smartest student in my school but I think I have just failed probability because standing Infront of me in the arcade is the girl that I can't get out of my head

I needed to go to a place with fewer humans so I could think clearly.

I was overcomed by anger .

I saw an arcade. It looked like there were few people in there so i decided to go there but as I walked in , I saw the human from earlier .

Normally, I'd just walk away because I loathe his kind but for some reason I couldn't move .

Maybe because earlier in the forest, he was worried about me.

it was the first time anyone was worried about me and it was weird but still ...you know.

I was snapped out of the trance and walked away when he said .

" hey, are you feeling better now ?"

Again , he was worried about me .but why ?

if he knew what I was , would he see still worry about me ? I'm a beast , I can take care of myself and still.... someone was worried about me .

I turned back and faced him " yeah , thanks " and walked away .

For some weird reason, I think it was fate that allowed us to meet eachother again .....but why?

" who was that girl back there?" Henry asked

" oh, her ? I don't know " we stepped out of the arcade and time had passed " aish, I really don't want to go home tonight"

" really? you can stay over at my place"

"I stayed at your place through out last week. I don't want to feel like a nuisance"

" hey , stop that man. you are family.fah- to- the- mily"

I laughed" I think I'll just go home today besides , it's Grandma's wake not that he would remember though "

" see you at school tomorrow ?"

" yeah, bud "

when I got home I saw dad home already .

" Tega, I have really amazing news for you " dad said smiling" I finally killed one of those beasts. All my years of hardwork finally payed off. I knew you might not believe me so -" dad brought out his phone" I took a picture of it . hold on . uh, where is it ?"

I was angry. so angry. for the fact that he brought up some stupid beast that didn't exist today of all days - on Grandma's wake

"you irritate me , do you know that ?"i asked him

"son, I really have it . just a min-"

" is that all you care about?! "I shouted . I couldn't contain my anger anymore" who cares if you are wasting your entire life trying to catch something that doesn't exist ? no one but what I truly don't understand is why you would bring that up on Grandma's wake "

" Gra... Grandma?"

" Grandma must be so proud to have a son like you who forgot her wake but guess what ? I'm not proud to have a father like you. so stop talking to me about your bullshit I couldn't care less about "

I walked up to my room and slammed the door .

Mom came out" you forgot Grandma's wake ?"

"honey, I must have had alot of things on my mind "

" honey , isn't it time you quit your job. I mean just last month, you forgot Tega's birthday too "

" but honey, I actually killed a family of beast . I -"

" I believe you , honey but don't you think your family is important?"

" yeah, I'll quit first thing in the morning"

" so , you going to talk to Tega?"

" nah, I don't think he wants to see me today "

I really shouldn't have come home today. I thought .
