Chapter 1 Introduction

In a forest in the city of Endless, the atmosphere of a tense cold night, when everyone was fast asleep, as if something was coming, suddenly everything there slowly turned into frost, even strange sounds were also heard echoing throughout the place making the listener goosebumps.

The wind blew in the silence of the night, making the place look like a dead city. Faint resin lights could be seen among the trees that had also been frozen, among which a house looked peaceful and serene, but when the place was dominated by ice that made it frozen, the lights were extinguished instantly.

As if on cue a beautiful woman opened her door. She looked around and found not a single creature there. A gust of wind blew across her face and her flowing hair became a mess.

Suddenly something jumped out at her, her eyes widened perfectly accompanied by a pounding chest, as her gaze focused on an object that was now on the ground. "Ah, it's a little cat." The girl was planning to leave, at the same time the resin lamp hanging on the porch of her house turned back on by itself.

Blast!

She felt shocked, as if her heart was about to fall out, without a plan the girl even turned around to go back inside, but she was again surprised by a wolf who was now standing in front of her and with a sharp look in his eyes as if he was about to be pounced on the spot.

Olivia felt anxious she slowly retreated backwards looking for an opening to quickly escape from there, Unfortunately, at that time Olivia slipped, and fell.

"Oh my." Olivia woke up, and immediately came to her senses and looked around. Her breathing was up and down, as if she had just faced a tense situation. "It was just a dream."

She rubbed her face deliberately while adjusting her unsteady breathing, in order to clear the anxious thoughts that swept through her mind. "I feel like I'm in a dense wilderness."

Olivia got up and stretched her body for a moment before getting up from her seat. "Is it possible that my brain is thinking too hard, to have such a nightmare?" Olivia wondered.

In front of her several books as well as stationery and scraps of paper looked messy on her desk, it turned out that earlier she was hallucinating about spiritual beings that have supernatural powers, she imagined how the life of a werewolf, because of her interest she had a large collection of legends and fantasy stories related to the unseen world.

"Maybe it's because I'm too engrossed in reading books about the world of werewolves, so I'm having strange dreams." she thought of the stories in the books. "I really feel like there's something special about werewolves," she spoke to herself, looking around.

Olivia was a unique girl, all her friends even considered her a bookworm because she always spent time with books in the village library. As a member of the writing community, she learned about myths and legends all about werewolves. In addition, Olivia believes in the signs of their presence around the village.

"Wait, it seems like that dream was just like the things I've been hearing lately, strange voices echoing in the night." Olivia pondered for a moment, "Is it possible that the dream has something to do with the real world and the supernatural?" she muttered to herself, then Olivia blinked her eyes.

"Actually I myself feel strange, maybe my body is also stored with something related to the supernatural," again Olivia seemed to have difficulty thinking about it. "I hope it's just my hunch."

Because of her interest in werewolves, Olivia began to realize that she already had an instinct that made her sensitive to the supernatural beings around her, even with the weather changes that she so clearly felt during the change from winter to summer.

"Could there be something unusual around here? I have to find out," Olivia glanced at the window around her, "I need to know more about the origins and powers of these creatures."

Olivia was determined to travel to the center of the forest, hoping to find out more about the werewolf species. She intended to find out so that her curiosity would disappear.

Meanwhile, elsewhere, a young man named Leon lives as a member of a youth group whose job is to keep his village safe.

Leon has great enthusiasm in protecting his village with their group members. In addition, Leon is also a fisherman who struggles every day to make a living for his mother and younger sister.

In the years since his father died, he has had to shoulder the burden of being the backbone of his family by acting more mature, in order to survive.

His days as a night watchman meant Leon had to be home by dawn. "Leon, what are your plans this morning? Is it to go to sea?" a young man named Varo asked, they were forced to stop walking.

"What about you?" His friend looked thoughtful before replying.

"Um... me? I think I have to go to the palm oil plantation today, our family is short of money, so we have to pick the fruit so we can sell it." He waited for Leon's response, hoping that his friend Varo wouldn't be disappointed.

"Oh, okay. Then I won't go to sea either, just like you." they both laughed. "Are you serious? How about you come with me? You'll receive a share of the profits after helping me." He offered.

"Sorry, I probably can't, I have a lot of work waiting for me at home. So, I'm going home now." They were now at the crossroads. "Let's part ways here, you know, since we're going in different directions." The two parted ways there

"Okay bye! See you."

Behind his enthusiasm, it turns out that Leon has a wish that he always keeps secret from anyone. When arriving at his home, Leon sometimes chooses to be alone in a quiet place and away from the village crowd.

"I wish I could explore this world infinitely, every now and then I want to take a break to find a fresh breeze to calm my mind." Leon talks to the wind by himself.

However, he recalled something. "Unfortunately, I still have responsibilities to my little family that I can't just leave behind." She sighed heavily and seemed to be complaining.

Leon felt indecisive, between his responsibilities and desires he began to think hard to make a decision. "What should I do now, should I reasonably ask permission to hunt into the middle of the forest for a few days?" Leon said expressionlessly as he stopped in front of the house where he was staying.

Olivia, on the other hand, was able to do what she wanted with ease, living alone in her grandmother's old house made her feel an infinite sense of freedom.

Olivia was now walking into the forest, along the way she remained silent without speaking. Olivia feels an evil aura approaching around her. Luckily, Olivia has a strong mental strength, even though the situation looks scary and tense, she still doesn't care.

Without realizing it, she accidentally stepped on something that almost made her balance uncontrollable, "Oh my God, I'm on the edge of a cliff!"

Chapter 2 Get lost

Olivia planned to check something at the bottom of the valley, "As a freelance, maybe I can take some pictures to add to my photo collection." she looked around, intending to find something to climb down the cliff.

However, just then the alarm sound from her cell phone went off. The girl immediately checked it, "Oh my, I have to go meet a client!" she exclaimed instantly.

Olivia was forced to postpone her intention and chose to go home, as she quickly left there to change her clothes into an office suit.

Olivia's daily life is not just a hobby and entertainment, but the woman has made it a source of income, she has made many summaries from several sources that she has learned and assembled them into a writing that is made into an ebook.

Lately, she is also working on a story about the supernatural world that makes her have to do quite a lot of research, so the client she will meet today is an agency from a publisher who happens to like the book Olivia made.

Now Olivia entered a building, with a work dress below the knee and a white blazer, making Olivia look very elegant.

This time her hair was left loose, with a little bandana ribbon on her head and a pair of silver high heels that she always used for her work.

that she always wears to

work.

Olivia saw someone sitting languidly in front of her desk. With a smile, Olivia tried to greet him with a happy expression.

However, instead of smiling, a folder was thrown at her, Olivia carefully opened it and saw sheets of documents that made her wonder.

Olivia read them one by one, until her eyes focused on a line of sentence that was written in bold. "The work on behalf of Olivia is rejected!"

The woman widened her eyes perfectly, her heart racing wildly. "Why is this..."

"Never mind, you have to revise your work, you only have a month until the story is finished, then you have to reread it to make sure it's free of spelling mistakes." he said sounding stern.

"What? A month? A 2000-page book is not an easy thing to revise in a month, can I ask for a little tolerance? I've been working on it for more than two months, please help me to revise my book." Olivia said with a pleading face.

"Fix everything, don't let the rambling plot dominate the content of your book." There was nothing Olivia could do but go home disappointed, their meeting only lasted a few minutes.

So Olivia chose to put the document into her bag. hufft, "This is harder than I thought." she complained as she headed home. Along the way she thought about where the book went wrong.

A group of young men were seen chatting at a rice stall in the middle of the village community center, Leon had just gone to look for firewood for the fireplace in his kitchen, he accidentally saw his friends while passing by the place. "Leon, after becoming a member of the ronda officer, you have absolutely no time to gather with us, even in this week I have only seen you once, is being a member of the community that busy?" a friend greeted with jokes and jokes.

Leon looked at their faces one by one. "I just feel tired and need to rest at home, that's all. There's no other element." he said with a smile, his mind returning to the plan. "Sorry, I have to go. Next time we get together again, okay?"

The young man left immediately after saying so, but suddenly a heavy rain fell. Leon began to frantically search for a place to take shelter. He looked at a dense tree and quickly ran to it.

Right now, he was protected from the rain. That was enough to make him feel happy.

Leon sat with his back leaning against the tree while looking at the falling raindrops. Seeing that made his hopes of finding firewood fade.

"Hu..." Leon exhaled a long breath while thinking, he then stood up from his seat, then walked as the rain began to subside, "I thought it would rain heavily, but it didn't."

Leon was very determined to do his work, "I need to find firewood, maybe these branches will be enough if they are gathered into one big bundle. So when I get home my time won't be wasted either." Leon said suggesting his thoughts.

Under the shady trees, Leon saw a lot of twigs and branches scattered around, then he picked them up one by one, once he had collected a lot of tree branches, he planned to leave, but he accidentally saw a silhouette behind one of the trees, "What is that shadow?" Leon asked the breeze.

His forehead frowned as his eyes squinted back at the silhouette standing behind a line of trees, he rubbed his eyes to see it better and he muttered in confusion, "How did it disappear?"

"Something went wrong. That shadow just disappeared all of a sudden. It really makes the hairs stand up." Fear raising the fine hairs on his skin, he cringed when he saw the shadow.

"Is that..." Leon asked softly while letting his gaze drift between the trees in the middle of the forest, but he quickly chased away his negative thoughts, "Never mind, the most important thing right now is that I can go home with branches for firewood."

Leon then left with a bundle of fairly dry branches, wondering about what he had seen earlier. "Do I have indigo sensitivity?" Fear, curiosity, all merged into one. Leon focused on the path he was on and discarded all the negative thoughts in his brain.

Olivia felt reluctant to do anything other than read the book, the pages that were opened displayed scenes in the re-arranged comic images.

In reading, her mind recalled the valley that made her curious. "I better go there, I'm sure there's something there." Olivia thought to herself.

Tap! She immediately closed her book until it made a sound, "As a freelance, maybe I can take some pictures to add to my photo collection." she immediately changed her clothes, then she immediately left her residence.

Fortunately, Olivia was already familiar with the forest conditions 500 meters away from her home location, after returning to meet the client yesterday, Olivia was stuck for ideas in her current situation. "Maybe by taking a walk in the forest, bright ideas will come to me." She thought positively before actually going too far into the forest.

However, on the way she felt the direction of the place was a little different, "I might get lost," she thought to herself.

Chapter 3 Joint exploration

Olivia slowly retreated backwards, trying to remember the direction of her destination yesterday, when she accidentally stepped on dry leaves, she immediately slipped, but she was still able to hold her body from falling into a trap hole. "It's a good thing I didn't fall. wait, now I'm back to where I was yesterday!"

Olivia checked and turned her head to look at the bottom of the ravine. "Right, I need to get down there immediately." Before reacting her eyes swept around to find a tree root that she could use as a rope to get down.

Olivia reached for a hanging root that was not too high in the vicinity, then after finally getting the root, she returned to the lip of the ravine, and prepared to descend the cliff that was lined with large stones.

After some time, her feet finally touched the ground, Olivia was mesmerized by the beauty hidden beyond, her feet moving nimbly to explore the place around her.

Before leaving, Olivia broke a branch to mark the way so she could find her way back easily. "All the trees here are lined up neatly."

Olivia suddenly stopped her steps and took a portrait with the camera on her cell phone, her laughter widening as the album filled up.

After that she decided to walk back, but without realizing it she saw something even stranger, a place surrounded by moss made her curious.

Ciklitt!

Again before approaching it, Olivia took another portrait like before. She wanted to confirm the state of the place. "I hope I can find something inside." Olivia thought.

The place looked pitch black, but Olivia didn't hesitate to walk down the dark passage that cut into the ground, as she entered the place, Olivia was mesmerized by the towering stalactites and stalagmites that looked like natural sculptures.

She continued to walk by the light of the flashlight from her cell phone. getting deeper, the mysterious aura began to feel suspicious making a little uncomfortable. "This place is quite mysterious, maybe I can find treasure inside like in a fantasy story." Olivia was amused when she thought about it.

While walking, Olivia accidentally kicked something, so she checked it and found a book the size of an ancient notebook that looked old and shabby.

She patted the cover on the dusty-looking book, suddenly Olivia heard a strange sound, she swept her eyes in all directions carefully, the unexpected happened, Olivia felt a strange vibration on her footing that slowly turned into a big shock!

"Astaghfirullah, what happened?" Olivia felt panicked, she even tried to save herself to get out safely.

"Ow." pebbles began to fall on Olivia's head, and she even tripped over a few stones and almost fell there.

The ancient book in his hand had almost slipped away, if he didn't pick it up again, his journey into the forest would have been wasted due to the increasing shaking.

"I must run before the cave door is buried by rocks, lest I be trapped inside." The woman forced herself to run fast with a small gap left. "Dear God, give me a way to get out of this place." Olivia prayed, and then she acted and tried to break through the gap while her eyes, silent...

When she opened her eyes, Olivia laughed widely, "this is a good sign!."

"It worked! I made it through," you can imagine what her expression was like now, Olivia looked up at the cave, the shaking slowly stopped. She took a few breaths, "Thank goodness, I thought I'd be trapped inside."

***

After putting the branches in the fireplace, Leon felt bored at home, the silhouettes he saw in the middle of the forest made him become more sensitive to things around him.

"Almost every time I go to the forest, I'm always safe and never see any apparitions, there must be something wrong with that place."

"Leon..." a voice called his name, as Leon turned his head he was startled by the figure in front of him,

"It's you." his chest was beating fast, holding back the shock. he didn't expect his little sister to suddenly appear there. "Why are you so surprised? Were you daydreaming?" the innocent girl asked out of curiosity,

Leon shook his head in response, at Sofia, she was an 18-year-old girl still in high school. Leon was very fond of his only sister,

He seemed to light a cigarette and smoke it, then he planned to leave there. "Brother Leon, where are you going?"

Leon stopped his steps, and turned around. "It's late afternoon, I have to go back to my ronda duty." he said with a smile.

The girl asked no more questions and let Leon's back slowly move away from her house, in the next minute when he was in a quiet mountainous area, the place was a dense forest, and lush.

However, Leon accidentally saw a pangolin that happened to pass in front of him. "It would be a shame if I missed it." Leon thought, "If I manage to get it, its scales can be sold and I get money!"

So Leon followed the rare animal silently and deliberately walked on tiptoes so that the animal wouldn't run away in fear. Unfortunately, Leon didn't realize that he had gone too far into the forest.

"Oh dear, the sun is almost setting! Damn it, I didn't even get my quarry," Leon cursed. "Now that the streets are even darker, I hope I can get out of this place."

Leon complained resigned to his situation, in his pocket there was only a old cellphone that might be used as a street light, but while on the road he saw something unusual. Leon thought it was the same shadow as before, making Leon curious.

So he decided to approach it and find out what awaited there, carefully, Leon walked slowly towards the apparition. Getting closer, with his eyes he saw something odd.

"It's already dark, but I still wonder what awaits there." Olivia thought to herself, feeling in doubt as she left the forest.

Dimly she saw a little light in the distance, Olivia had a high sense of interest that defeated her desire to go straight home. Olivia walked among the bushes by stepping on the grassland.

From behind the grass, Olivia could see that the light was coming from a cottage house that, it seemed, she would soon reach.

Cracking... the sound of Olivia's stomach, the woman immediately held her hungry stomach. "I can't even remember that I haven't eaten since before, even though I have drinks and bread as snacks on the way."

Olivia arrived at the house and knocked on the door, but no one answered. Olivia felt strange, so she peeked through the window to see if there were any people in the house. However, all she found was a resin lamp and a few candles for light.

"Maybe the residents are away, I'd better go home," Olivia whispered again, as she was about to leave, Olivia felt her hair stand up along with a dim feeling of fear and anxiety.

When she looked back, suddenly in front of her eyes flashed a group of strange human beings who were gathering as if they were performing a ritual. Olivia rubbed her eyes, she wasn't sure at first, but once she cleared her vision and made it clear, Olivia was stunned to see the creatures performing their agile movements, she was sure that they all looked strong.

"Her two eyes could not look away from their natural appearance. However, unfortunately Olivia did not realize that one of the creatures was looking in her direction, and their eyes accidentally met. Hahahaha... laughter boomed, making noise in the ears of the listeners, Olivia was forced to cover her ears with her hands.

"Looks like we have a guest here." Olivia became scared and immediately alert, and she even deliberately put up a stance with her hands clenched into fists. Olivia felt indignant in her heart, and thought she would die on the spot this time.
