I was asleep suddenly I felt someone's presence I immediately stood up "Oh sorry honey, I didn't plan on waking up am going to work now I'll be back in 2 days do whatever aunty Kate tells you to do" she came closer and touched my face"you know she won't let anything bad happen to you guys, take care of your sister ok??" I noticed something strange in her today something isn't right but I can figure out what it it "Mom, you don't look ok, is anything wrong??" I said with a worried look she gave me a little smile touching my hair "I'm ok sweetie promise to take care of your little sister while gone " I nods and hugs her, "I love you and your little sister " she kiss my forehead and smiles"we love you yoo mommy " I responded with a love voice, she stares at me before walking out of the room.

Oh sorry where are my manner!!! My name is Grace Anderson, I'm 16, biracial with a 3B black hair, tanned, skin, 5"7 currently in my last year in high school, I have a little sister her name is Daisy she has 2B blond hair (just like my dad). The lady I just spoke to is my Mom she's a single mom who works at a maid in *Knoxville Mansion* to foot our bills while I work at my best friend's (abby) Cafe to pay my collage Bill (I'm on scholarship), my mom's a single parent who struggles to take care of us my dad left us after my little sister (Daisy) was born, she's the best mom in the world back to reality

"Get your ass down here Daisy or we'll be late for school" I yelled from the kitchen while packing our lunch "coming" she yells back. In a min she comes into the kitchen well dressed for school while smiling"How do I look??" she spins waiting for my response "I don't know" I honestly said and hands her the lunch bag she rolls her eyes, grabs the lunch bag and walks to the car, I grabbed the car key (it's my mom's car) locks the house door before getting in thr car and drove off.

So..... Kelly Aunty Kate's niece is coming over so can I stay at Aunty Kate's place for few days pretty please" Daisy looks at me with a puppy eye. "Oh Lord why do I have to be a big sister.... yeah sure " I replied while driving.

Finally we got to her school "We're Here" I packed the car drive way, she unpukvked her seatbelt and came down "Love you " she yelled while walking to the hallway . I drove off immediately heading to my school, yeah we don't attend same school, my phone rings I looked at the ID it was my best friend Abby "Hello Abby, wassup??" I spoke while driving "Hii Babbyyy nothing much, just bored when u coming over??" she asked curious "Your missing me already??? well I have a class this morning after that I will come over" I said smiling

After my class I headed straight to Abby's house. she ran and hugged me like kid hugging it's mother"I missed you" I laughed " you saw me last week" sje pulled out from the hug "So?? can't someone miss her best friend no more??" she spoke with a frown face, I know this face she's trying to Play the victim here "Your the best friend ever int he whole wild world" I said and hugged her I could feel her smiling, I know she's smiling"that more like it" she drags me to her room"Hello Aunty" I waved at Abby's mom while Abby dragged me to her room.

We got to her room and she sat me down on her bed "So.... I meet this guy and he seems cool, last weekend he came and asked for mom's permission if he could be my boyfriend and guess what???" she said while blushing Oh Christ I took a deep breath "She said yes" I guessed with little hope and she started jumping yep I guessed right "Awww look my Abby being excited in having a boyfriend, that's so sweet" I said smiling "Girls am off the restaurant don't forget your shifts Love you" Aunty yelled downstairs " love you too" we yelled back together and burst out laughing.

We gisted a little before heading to the restaurant for our shifts, While working I noticed a lady trying to force a boy to eat, He ran to the restroom "Abby could you cover up for me for few mins" I said walking to the restroom "i got you", I got inside the restroom amd knocked "Heyy o saw what happened there could you open the door" He didn't respond "pretty please" he opens the door and damn this boy is fine & cute his parents must be good looking (I'm not a pedophile) "I'm Grace and you are??" I introduced myself "Leo" the little boy replied "nice to meet you Leo..... if you don't mind me asking is the lady your mom" I asked wait for his response "No" he answered facing down, I felt bad for him "Who's she to you??" waiting for his reply "She's my dad fiancé PA..... She doesn't like neither does my dad's fiancé " oh noo poor kid i hugged him "I know we just met, am not a bad person you can always come here if you need someone to talk to ok" he nods and smiles "this the ladies restroom so we need to get you out of here before any one sees you" i took his hands and walked out of the restroom "wait here I'll be back" i went to the counter got a paler and took out a pen wrote my number, walked over to leo and hands him the paper "This my number you can call me anytime Alright" He smiles and hugs me before heading to his table, There are being too hard on him, his just a kid. After few hours our shift ended and I told her the everything and she just mad.. Lol I calmed her down by getting her favorite snacks *Pringles*. We got home, made dinner and went to bed

The next morning we both had a morning shift, after our morning routine (brush, bath, make breakfast, feed the dog and cat) before heading to the restaurant,I have been working for 4 hours now,damn I'm so exhausted I was serving a table when the door bell rang that means someone just came in and behold it was Leo and a middle age man.

after serving the table he ran to me hugs me and hands be a rose "Awww thank you Baby" tearing up "Don't cry" He leans over to clean my tears, damnn this little boy is a gentleman His parents deserves a trophy "Nick this is my friend i was telling you about, Grace this is my friend and driver Nick" Leo introduced us. "Nice to meet you Nick" brings out my hand for a hand shake surprisingly he accepted my hand shake "the pleasure is mine" While smiling, "Why not you Gentlemen take a seat while I'll go and get you our specials" they nod and sat on an empty seat, i went straight to thr kitchen.

Few mins later I brought the speciality to their table "Don't worry about the bills it's on me, enjoy ur meal" I spoke with a cheerful face "oh noo, we are paying" Nick said in a playful manner "Oh yes it's on me, take it a thank you for the Rose" I replied looking at Leo smiling, he giggles "I'll leave you gentlemen to enjoy you meal, my shift ends soon so I might have gone before your done with the meals, you're always welcome here" I said with a smile and walks away. Finally I'm done with my shift.

We were about entering the car when my phone rang I looked at the ID it was my mom "Hii mom, how are you doing??" I asked "I'm good and you?? how's Daisy???" she quickly replied "I'm Good too, Daisy is stay over at Kelly's (Abby's cousin) house for few days" I noticed her voice isn't the same she sounds terrified and sad, am having a bad feeling something is wrong "Mom is everything ok?? you sound scared and sad " I asked waiting for her response "Give Abby the phone" I hand the phone over to Abby, they spoke for awhile her face changed to sad & shocked face immediately I knew something was wrong I took back the phone "Mom!! something is definitely wrong what is it, you know you can tell me anything" tearing up "Take care of your lil sis, Abby, Aunty Kate and Kelly's parents will be there to help you out" She said while sobbing "Why all this mom!! mommy talk to me, what's wrong " the tears won't stop pouring "I love you and Daisy always remember this" She whispered then ends the call Fuck!!!!!!!, I tried calling her but it's not reachable Abby hugs me "let's get you home, you need some rest" she guides me to the car and drove straight to the my home. We got into house I laid on my bed and cried myself to sleep with Abby comforting me.

I woke up with dark circles around my eyes "How long did I sleep??" I asked Abby "6 hours" What!!!! I stood up went to the bathroom and washed my face "My boyfriend and I are planning on going to the club today do you wanna come??" oh boy this another truck of hers "No thanks" I head back to the bed "Nooo" she drags me off the bed "I can't leave you her all Alone especially in this state i promise you won't get drugged or drunk" she crossed a finger 🤞, rolls me my eyes "Fine" she jumped on me "Thank you, I promise you, you won't regret this..... I'll pick your outfit" she said with excitement "I forgot it's in 2 hrs so we don't really have time to prepare, go take a shower while I pick out our outfit" She so energetic,

I rushed to the bathroom and took a shower, I can out to see two sexy dresses "you're wearing the red while am taking the orange" i looked at both dresses "Hell no it's too revealing" she rolls her eyes "Look Grace, you need to enjoy life abit, you need this to set your mind aside alittle " I think she's a point "I guess it won't hurt" after preparing I wore the dress and I must say it's stunning, it's hugs my body perfectly "look at you, every man will want to kill to get your attention in the club" Abby complimented "You look good too Abby, your boyfriend is lucky am not a guy" We both laughed, Abby got a text "He's here, we goo" i Pack my hair a bun grabs my purse and phone then heads downstairs. "You girls look stunning" he complimented us and kissed Abby, oh wow Abby's man is Good looking "Thanks" I smiled "let's get going ladies" we got out of the house, look the door got into his and drive off
