Harajuku district.... Shibuya, Tokyo.
At a restaurant...
"Thank you for coming to our restaurant, we hope to see you soon, we'll treat you better next time".
Denki said, bowing his head as he waved to the last couple who just left the restaurant.
They were about to close for the day and he sighed in relief.
He took off the apron he wore on top of his casuals...
"Hey Denki! I'll double your wages today, you did well".
Mr Kakashi, The master Chef and owner of the restaurant said, counting the money in his hands joyfully.
"We made a lot of money today, I'm happy".
"Arigatou gozaimatsu (Thank you)".
The latter replied politely bowing his head again not even in the slightest way excited about the doubling of his wages.
All he thought about was his home...
His bed in particular.
He didn't get the chance to rest after school as he rushed down to the restaurant immediately he was dismissed from school.
He was a part timer and had to take on the job to sponsor himself in school and support his bills.
"Mr Kakashi, we also did well". One of his colleagues said, waving his hand to get the attention of their boss who was still counting his money.
"No!". The boss said and he gulped down.
"Only Denki did well today and I'll reward him, try harder next time".
"Yes sir". He replied in disappointment.
Denki collected his pay for the day and set off for his house.
"See you tomorrow Denki!". His boss said.
"Right! Good night!". He replied and headed for where he parked his bike.
On starting it, it failed to and he noticed he was low on fuel.
He let out a sigh in frustration and looked around.
It was late and the fuel/gas stations were already closed.
Guess I'll have to pull you along gently.
He said to the bike, thinking about the distance from the restaurant to his house.
His stomach grumbled making him bite his lip.
He skipped lunch and now he hadn't had dinner yet.
He was busy working when his colleagues were eating and now he regretted missing his meal.
"Hey! Stop there!". He heard a harsh, stern voice and he gasped.
The thugs...
He thought to himself...
They're here...
He turned quickly on impulse and sighted six well built-up guys approaching him.
This is bad!
He turned away from them and began walking faster.
"Hey!!".
Shit! He cussed when he heard the authoritative voice again and increased his steps once again, his bike slowing him down.
He tried to run but his bike prevented him from doing so and he couldn't allow them catch up with him else they might rob him dry and he couldn't afford that either.
He diverted into the next turn he came across, not minding if he knew the route or not, he just wanted to be far from the thugs.
When he thought he had lost them, he heard quick footsteps behind him and he began a quick pace again.
The next minute, something swooped out a corner and appeared in front of him.
He was startled by the sudden appearance and was staring at what was in front of him.
It seemed like a person in black cape.
"There he is, get him!". The thugs were catching up on him and he wanted to try to escape but was grabbed by the wrist and then in seconds he was pulled away from his bike.
He could feel himself moving with the wind and it was really fast....he couldn't leave his eyes open due to the wind disturbing his eyes.
He was suddenly pushed against a wall and he came to his senses.
He was panting hard and he placed his hand on his chest to feel his heartbeat.
Just a few seconds ago, he was with his bike, now he was at a corner he had no idea about and how he got there in that short period of time.
He looked back at the stranger in black cape who pressed him against the wall.
"Wh..who are you?". He asked, confused.
"Shhh". That was the reply he got.
"They'll hear you".
He felt the pressure in his throat and covered his mouth.
"I'm going to puke". He said as he slightly pushed the stranger and bent over.
His body didn't settle well with the kind of speed he just went through.
He was yanked up by the stranger...
"Don't do that... seriously.. Don't".
"They're nearby, they'll hear you". The stranger said in whispers but he wasn't gonna listen coz his body was reacting on its own.
He covered his mouth again and puffed his cheeks as the pressure in his throat became more intense.
The stranger suddenly pressed him against the wall again, yanking his hand away from his mouth.
"You're not a listener...are you?".
The hood of the cape suddenly came off revealing the snow white long hair of the being in front of him.
His eyes went wide at the appealing and strange sight.
He didn't expect the cape person to be a girl and a really beautiful one at that.
Her strange red eyes, pierced deeply into his dull purple ones and he seemed to be lost in hers.
"I'm glad it's really you". She said, taking her pale hands close to his face to feel it.
He was stunned, mesmerized by the being as she gazed lustfully into his eyes, drawing her face nearer to his.
He swallowed hard not really sure what she was about to do but he froze the instant she locked her lips with his.
His heartbeat accelerated and his cheeks heated up.
The pressure in his throat was relieved instantly making him swallow hard again while the strange lady devoured his lips.
Her tongue was searching for his intently and when it finally did, he clenched his fist beside him, trying to get a hold of himself.
He never kissed anyone before neither had he been kissed by anyone..
Which meant...
This was his first kiss...
And with a total stranger..
A French kiss at that.
All those thoughts ran through his head as he tried to figure out why a smoking hot chic was making out with him in an intense manner....at a secluded corner.

Denki moaned as he rolled over on his bed and turned to his left.
His eyes were opened as the morning sun's reflection disturbed him.
He sat upright grumbling to himself.
When his eyes got used to the light, he looked around and at his bedside alarm.
He still had a few minutes before the usual time he was supposed to wake up.
The aroma of bacon and baked dough hit his nose.
He sniffed in, inhaling the heavenly aroma and his stomach grumbled..
Aw! Neighbors!
That reminds me, I didn't get to eat last night!
His mind drifted back to the previous night and he grinded his teeth from embarrassment.
What kind of weird dream was that?
I made out with a girl huh?
He scoffed and got out of bed...
I must've been sexually frustrated to have that kind of dream.
"Yoohoo! Breakfast is ready".
"Great, I'm starving how...."
Denki's voice trailed away as he turned his head, almost snapping his neck bones by doing so...
There standing with an apron and a tray stood the strange girl from his dream.
She had a bright smile on her face.
"You should eat before it gets cold".
Huhhhhhhhhhh?!
He blinked repeatedly before falling back to the bed in shock.
"Wh..what are you..wh...who are you?!". He panicked.
She was taken aback by his reaction.
"You don't know me?". She asked, trying not to be offended.
He shook his head, gulping down.
If she was the girl from his dream...that means his dream was real?!
His eyes were wide open in realization.
Crap! What's happening?
"It's me, have you forgotten? You saved me two years ago". She replied.
He was trying to remember but nothing was coming..
"Remember? I almost died...you saved me..."
Nothing was ringing a bell..
"Uh...I'm sorry, I don't quite remember y..."
The tray fell from her hand, cutting him off and startling him at the same time.
Her eyes that were full of excitement became darker instantly and her snow white hair began to glow.
He felt the hairs on his back stand..
"You mean you don't remember me?". Her tone became deeper and creepy.
She had a deadly glare as she approached him slowly..
"I was beaten up by some vampires and I became weak and exhausted...I couldn't walk well and had to crawl my way out....I was starving and i had to drink blood to revive myself or I was going to turn to ash...you came to my rescue. I was surprised at first but then you insisted that I suck your blood for me to live".
Her hands were trembling as she spoke and her claws were visible, ready to strike.
It still didn't ring a bell to him but he had to act quick or the raging beast would kill him.
"Oh...uh...yeah! I remember you now, heh, you! Yes! I saved you, how could I have forgotten?". He said nervously, touching the nape of his neck.
Her countenance changed...
Her hair became normal, her eyes returned to the ones filled with perkiness...a smile find its way to her lips.
"My savior! I'm so happy you remember me now". She said and bent down quickly to pick up the shards of glass that broke when she dropped the tray.
He stared back at her.
A vampire huh?
He's heard of vampires but didn't really imagine one would be in his room at the moment.
Then his cheek heated up as he sized her up with his eyes.
It was the fact that the only thing really covering her body was the apron.
Otherwise, she was only clothed in her underwears.
"I've come back to repay you for your kindness". She said, standing up.
She caught his attention again...
"I..I don't think...it's necessary, I don't need you to repay me...just tell me where your house is, I'll drop you off... we're good now right?". He said in haste to get rid of the vampire in his room.
"Oh...but I'm obliged to repay you...in our culture". She said.
His mind drifted to last night's encounter again.
"You saved me from the thugs last night so we're even". He muttered immediately, clicking his fingers.
"You don't owe me anything then". He smiled.
"Of course a good deed must be paid back a thousand fold....that day, you saved me and even gave me some stuffs". She said timidly, pouting as she joined her index fingers together.
"They must've costed you a lot... that's why I'm here to repay you my savior".
He racked his brain inside and out to remember but got nothing...
What if she's got the wrong guy?
He didn't wanna risk denying again..
But if she insisted on paying him back, then he should just accept the payment and then she'd leave him for good.
"Alright...alright, if you insist, I have no other choice". He said.
He almost missed the spark in her eyes.
She clapped happily like a kid...
"I'll send you my details, you can wire the money". He picked up his phone.
"Uh...I don't really have money but since I'm repaying a debt of gratitude, then I think I should wed you".
His phone dropped from his hand.
"What?!".
"I, Akira Kimura shall become your bride". She said with a big smile.
"What in the...."
He was speechless.
"Do you not want to marry me?" She asked when she noticed his expression.
"M...marry?" He stuttered.
"That's a big word...I mean I can't marry a stranger... marriage is not just something you can decide to do to repay someone...what kind of compensation is marriage? What the hell bro?".
"That so huh? You're saying you don't want me by your side then". She said, her hair starting to glow all over again.
She released her claws and walked towards him..
"Wh..what are you doing?". He stuttered in fear.
"I'll pluck out your eyes and take them along so that you won't have to stare at another lady after dumping me". She replied.
"Wait...wait...wait...wait!". He stood up in defense.
"It's not that I don't want to marry you....it's just that the law says men get married from the age of 22...". He had a quick excuse, making her stop.
"You see...I'm just 17".
"Who follows the stupid law nowadays? Besides where I come from, you could become a parent at 16". She said, smirking.
"Who cares about the law anyways? The marriage is between us".
Crap! What do I do?!
He thought hard as he stared at the impatient vampire watching him intently.
"You still don't want to marry me?". She asked, closing the gap between them and carving out the outline of his face with her index claw.
He gulped down nothing, a cold chill running down his spine.
"You should take responsibility". She whispered to him.
"Last night was a blast....you don't look like it but you're really good in bed". She said sultrily and bit on her lower lip then stared into his eyes.
His eyes widened in horror.
"No way!".
"Did we...?"
She chuckled at his reaction and caressed his face.
"How cute".
"Did we really...." He paused and swallowed hard.
No... definitely no way!
He didn't remember sleeping with her so there's no way in hell it happened.
"Akira..." He called out her name for the first time ever..
"Nothing happened right?".
"You wanna find out?". She arched her eyebrow, smirking.
His eyes diverted to the alarm clock and it hit him.
"Shit! I'm going to be late!". He left her side and rushed to the bathroom.
"Late for what?". She called after him as she took the remnant of the food she dropped to the kitchen.
"You haven't had your breakfast".
"For school...I'll be in deep shit if I'm late".
He got out of the bathroom few minutes later and began to arrange his books in his school bag.
He put on some simple clothes and rushed out.
"Wait! You haven't had your breakfast!".
A vampire in the kitchen huh?
He thought and sighed.
A hard pass!
"I'm not hungry". He lied, running out of the house..
"Will you marry me now?!". She yelled after him.
He ignored her...
"I can be your fiancee for now if marriage is too prompt!". She yelled again.
He hid his face as he left his block to avoid his neighbours suspicious stares.

There were histories of the great vampire hunters which began in Europe.
In Croatian and Slovenian legends, the villages had their own vampire hunters that were called kresniks. Their spirits were able to turn into animals at night to fight off vampires.
Most Vampire hunters were born, created and emerged to wipe out vampires often because of revenge, noble intentions, religious beliefs or necessities.
All the way down to Asia's Japanese clans which were famous for their vampire hunters, Hayashi clan was one of the few clans who survived their great battle with vampires over the years...other clans were just totally wiped out or turned.
From generations to generations, the Hayashi members passed on their legacy and main duty to wipe out the unholy creatures that were deemed their archenemy.
Hayashi hyyakimaru the greatest first generation Vampire hunter was nicknamed the 'Vampire' himself because of the thousands of vampires he defeated... even at his old age, Vampires weren't a match for him..he later passed on due to old age giving the Vampires the upper hand once again.
Not too long before his son took over and walked in his shoes, slaying vampires...he also passed on and handed over to his son....the chain continued until the present generation..
It's the twentieth century and some Vampire hunters called it quits after numerous unsuccessful hunts.
The Vampires were dominating and hard to find at the same time.
Now, they had an incredibly, intelligent sense of reasoning and blended in well with the humans, for their safety.

Denen chofu Senior high...
"Hayashi Denki!". A slender, perfect figured girl yelled, slamming her hand on Denki's table.
The latter rolled his eyes, sighing.
He was definitely not in the mood for her.
"Don't you dare roll your eyes at me! How dare you bully Momo - chan?! The innocent girl was crying at the bathroom!".
Ayako Takahashi, a very lousy, rude girl yelled at the top of her voice, pointing at a 'not interested' Denki.
She was very popular among her peers because she was rich, classy and beautiful.
The most beautiful girl in third year apparently.
"And what makes you think I bullied Momo?". He asked.
"Ayako -chan, I'm fine, he didn't do anything to me...you have to believe me".
The petite looking girl with chubby cheeks said, waving her hands frantically at a riled up Ayako.
"You don't have to cover him up, this scumbag needs to be taught a lesson". Ayako said and patted Momo's head gently.
Momo lowered her head timidly...
"He didn't do anything, seriously". She murmured, pushing her glasses up the bridge of her nose.
Denki sighed again...
"Apologize to her now!". Ayako ordered.
"I didn't do anything, you heard the girl". He said.
"Of course you did, you're the most untrustworthy, devilish looking scumbag here, you ought to have made her cry".
He facepalmed himself...
She was accusing him of something he didn't do all because most of the girls feared him as he gave out a strange vibe..
Most of the Juniors, male and female also feared him.
"I'm sorry Denki-kun, she got the wrong idea". Momo murmured timidly, still lowering her head.
"Eeeeiii?!"
"I told him to apologise to you and not the other way around". Ayako said with clenched fists.
"Ayako, Momo, we have a class now, go back to your seats, you both can settle your scores with Denki after the class".
Abigail Shimizu, the class monitor said.
"There's nothing to settle". Denki said grumpily.
"It's not over Hayashi!". Ayako said, pointing at him, then walked to her seat.
*
"Hey Denki!".
Denki was interrupted from his thoughts as he pushed his bike slowly on his way out of school.
He turned to see who called and someone wrapped their arm around his neck just as he turned.
"You wanna hang out later?". An overly excited Anju asked nudging him with his elbow playfully.
Anju chikamoto was his closest friend as they've been friends since elementary school.
"I've got to work yunno". Denki murmured wearily.
"Oh! That's true, you really are a strong independent young lad my friend". Anju patted his shoulder.
"Hang in there...you'll be fine". He pretended to sniff in and wiped away invisible tears.
"You're working too hard, it's killing me".
"I have to go now, I'll see you tomorrow". Denki said.
"Okay bro". He fist bumped Denki and walked back to the class, hands in pockets.
There were annoying screams from perky girls and Denki turned to the direction it came from.
Haru sato, one of his classmates was walking through the garden and the girls just couldn't stop drooling over him.
He was the typical 'ladies guy' kinda guy.. hot, blonde and intimidating.
Haru's eyes met his and he made a disgusted face to enrage him.
He only gained a smirk from the latter who ran his fingers through his blond hair.
"What's up donkey?". He asked with a slight wave.
The girls giggled at his comment, and Denki couldn't care less.
He rode his bike away.
After a quite short journey, he got to his house and put in the password to his door, then got in.
Throughout the lessons in school, his mind was focused on a particular thing.
The fact that he left a vampire at home and rushed to school and the fact she just showed up out of the blue, claimed he saved her and wanted to wed him for compensation.
Of course how could he forget the Vampire girl who stole his first kiss and almost defiled him.
Probably she was gone now and he wouldn't have to bother about her.
He thought to himself as he tossed his bag, took off his shoes and headed for his bedroom.
Marriage my foot!
He scoffed as he thought about it and opened his bedroom door.
He froze at the spot when he sighted the being on his bed.
She was lying half naked on his bed, sleeping soundly.
"You've got to be kidding me!". He facepalmed himself for the second time that day..
"What is she still doing here?!".
He looked away quickly from the ungodly, tempting sight.
Vampires...
He thought..
His family had a thing against them and his father in particular hunted them.
His mother was killed by vampires and his father kept on blaming himself for her death.
He was a well known Vampire hunter and the incident that took the life of his wife didn't settle well with him.
His current location wasn't known by anyone.
He totally left his son to fend for himself and started an unending journey.
Vampires killed his mother, why would he save a vampire?!
She must've mistaken him for someone else..
It was his chance to get rid of one..
Denki clenched his fist tightly beside him.
Vampires tore his family apart.
His deadly gaze lingered on the girl on his bed and he walked out of the room heading for his secret room.
It was like a basement where he stored some kind of equipments he didn't need.
There was a drawer in the basement and he opened it.
The drawer belonged to his father.
He didn't think he was going to touch the drawer again coz it reminded him of his father.
He pulled it open and exhaled sharply as he stared at the weapons in the drawer.
Firearms, crucifixes and wooden stakes.
When he was younger, his dad taught him how to use the weapons as a hunter and he didn't really put much interest then.
He picked up a firearm, fondled the silver ammunition and dropped it.
He was still clumsy with firearms.
His eyes diverted to the crossbow at the extreme of the room and he shook his head.
Can't handle that either....urghh!
He picked up the wooden stake and blew the dust from it.
Blunt.
He began to sharpen the stake like his life depended on it.
After a work well done, he hid it behind him and went to his room.
She was still fast asleep on his bed, her chest rising and falling as she breathed calmly.
He approached the bed, slowly, eyes locked on his prey as he wanted to strike.
"No! Mom! Please!". She cried out from her sleep and whimpered.
He stopped in his tracks and watched.
"Stop!". She shrieked and writhed, clutching the bedsheet tight.
He moved closer, raising the stake up as he targeted her heart.
A tear escape the corner of her eye and he lowered his hand.
A feeling of sympathy engulfed him.
Soon, he watched as her face gradually release itself from scrunching up and she slept peacefully.
She looked innocent and harmless while she slept.
The kiss from the previous night replayed in his mind and he totally dropped the stake to the floor as his body weakened.
She stirred in her sleep due to the noise.
Then, she rolled over to her stomach and mumbled some unrecognizable words.
He picked up the stake and left for the basement.
