Fascinated with Louisa Bahr since becoming the main character in the film 'From the End', Dean Cross offers a relationship without status to help Louisa take revenge for the betrayal of her ex-lover, Troy Austin. A romantic relationship shrouded in passion turns out to ignite love in Louisa's heart. Will those feelings be reciprocated, or will it create a deeper wound?

Chapter 1 A Fantastic Night

A sigh could be heard filling the elevator when the lovebirds were enveloped in a passionate desire that clouded their common sense. The rough kisses that hit each other indicated their hunger for heaven on earth. As soon as the elevator opened, a big man with blonde hair impatiently pulled the woman towards one of the apartment rooms, ignoring the swollen lips or the open shirt buttons to reveal a bit of a chiselled chest-pushing open the metallic black-painted door then grabbing his idol's sensual lips again, pressing him against the wall as he lifted one long leg to wrap it around his hips.

The atmosphere in the luxurious room with a modern interior felt increasingly hot, burning on the skin, when the slender fingers there squeezed his lover's buttocks when the union occurred. Simultaneously, sighs filled every corner of the ivory-white walled executive room. He moved his hips in rhythm to the pleasure-filled thrusts, lifting his head to let his lover explore every inch of his damp skin with the caress of his tongue and smiling crookedly as he left a faint trace of redness there-his favourite.

The sensual lips, whose lipstick was starting to fade, opened as the owner of the hazel brown eyes became increasingly blurry as if she couldn't define how extraordinary this struggle was. Moreover, the walls that separated them from the outside world had become silent witnesses to this hot romance. Sweet babbles interspersed with sexy-sounding curses just blurted out, making the passion even more desirable.

The woman locked eyes with her soul mate after a painful separation several years ago. She was leaving behind a passionate longing and thinking that she would never be seen again in the future. Their bodies are one unit that needs each other even when distance separates them. She could even feel her pulse racing rapidly, causing pain in her head. However, she loved this intoxicating sensation and didn't want it to end just like that. She cupped the blonde man's face while whispering seductions that she enjoyed the passionate nights with him.

"I love you..." the woman cooed as her lips were again covered with lust. Her limbs were barely boned as the wave crept up, opening the gates of pleasure like a heroin addiction. She couldn't think straight anymore when his lover's hands caressed and teased every inch of her body.

"Mine. You are mine," said the man, lifting the woman's body and carrying her to the sofa. It rained faster until it took the two of them flying into the sky through the limitless universe.

Dean turned off the romance film, which launched a few days ago but is now trending on several official streaming sites. I threw the remote control to the left side and loosened the shirt buttons. He almost tore his clothes. Unfortunately, why is the atmosphere here so hot? It's as if he's being roasted alive, so he raises his shot glass and quickly sips the red wine until there's nothing left. His throat felt barren, but it didn't feel relieved, even if it was soaked with a bottle of the most expensive wine.

It's not because the storyline is terrible. He likes the journey of a pair of lovers who want to accept their man after experiencing a severe accident until they have amnesia and have no hope of surviving. Even though the ending is quite dramatic, where they finally get married before the male character dies, the director's work 'From the End' deserves appreciation from film lovers.

What caught Dean's attention was the actress who played Cecilia there. Every erotic scene seemed to provoke Dean's desire to join in, giving rise to a desire to get rid of the actor, who was enjoying his curvaceous body. Not just this time. Even during the gala premiere at the El Capitan Theater, Dean was forced to leave before the film was finished, making his assistant wonder whether his boss was having problems.

"No! Of course not! I... need a little fresh air," Dean lied.

Louisa. He said the name to himself, then grabbed his cellphone and read a series of news on the internet that actresses under his Cross Agency were greeted enthusiastically because of their stunning acting with co-stars. Many comments on various social media highlight that Louisa has a chemistry that her new fans cannot forget.

Angel998: She has natural talent. Why have I only just discovered a beautiful and sexy actress like her?

Frankie: I've admired her since Louisa played the second lead character in the film Darling and Valentines. Can I date this girl? Lol!

SmthOl: I don't care who she ends up romancing with, but can you accept Steve? He's perfect for you, Lou!

Robert78: She's so hot. as if I was making love to her.

"Can't they differentiate between chemistry and want to make love?" Dean snapped, closing the internet application.

He poured wine back into the glass and then exited the velvet sofa. Slowly sip the high-quality wine while walking closer to the glass wall. The view in front of Dean was genuinely charming, showing off the majestic Beverly Hills, where a trail of orange peeked out shyly before being entirely replaced by moonlight. His steps stopped on the balcony, feeling the warmth of the fire licking in the fireplace while the late winter breeze started to warm against his skin. He shook his head slowly when Louisa's image ambushed him again, trying to anaesthetise his subconscious.

Dean doesn't want to deny that Louisa's charm changes his world. The man's desire often peaked just thinking about how alluring every curve of the actress's body was. It was as if Louisa was a force that managed to vibrate Dean's long-dead heartbeat. The thought of Louisa being under Dean's arms, screaming his name until she was hoarse, sparked a strange spark in the man's stomach. She bit her lower lip, wondering which man had succeeded in attracting Louisa's heart.

They were judging from the actions of new artists who often play extras. Most are looking for shortcuts to satisfy the nights of directors, scriptwriters, and producers. Once upon a time, Dean heard a rumour that an actress had given up hope when their name couldn't survive amidst the competition. As a result, they aggressively approached and became a bitch to the company's top officials so that they could survive.

Oh no! You don't think she's the typical sycophantic woman, Dean!

For a few moments of struggling with his thoughts, Dean's lips' thin line grew like a glimmer of hope in the night. He remembered that tomorrow, there would be a Louisa fan meeting with the cast of From the End at the San Diego Convention Center. Should Dean invite Louisa personally to celebrate the achievement after years of being an extra? As the highest leader, he has the right, and no one will suspect anything if he steals the opportunity to bait Louisa.

"We'll see," Dean muttered, smiling and his eyes glinting meaningfully.

###

The clink of glasses collided until the champagne almost spilt onto the table at the nightclub in the Sunset Trip area, which was specially ordered by Louisa's manager, Cory. The ladylike man stood towering in leather boots, holding slender glasses and shouting over the loud EDM music playing. Under the laser lights that move dramatically to the beat, Cory's bright blue irises decorated with wing eyeliner shine even more as his lips expand. He puffed out his chest, grabbed Louisa's hand to tell her to stand up, and shouted,

"Congratulations to our star!" Cory sipped champagne, not paying attention to the yellowish champagne liquid soaking his orange sweater.

As someone who has accompanied Louisa for the last few years, he should be proud of the artist's hard work. Day and night, no matter the bad weather or even a cameo, it must be admitted that Louisa is a woman to be reckoned with in today's entertainment world. I didn't expect that the film offers, which was initially considered very unsuitable for Louisa's facial character, would receive a lot of praise. Maybe this is the result of the girl in the red mini dress who kissed Cory full of affection and whispered a thank you.

"Oh, darling. It would be best if you thanked yourself, too," said Cory, returning the kiss to the top of Louisa's head. "But I saw you were so excited about making out with your co-star," he teased, rolling his eyes.

"Jeez. Of course not! Do I look like a girl who says, 'Hey, bitch, fuck me until death,' huh? I already have Troy," said Louisa, shaking her head and taking a small sip of champagne that tasted as sweet as a pear. Cory and several other people around the round table burst into laughter.

One of them leaned over and said, "Where's Troy? Doesn't he want to celebrate this accomplishment?"

"Yes, that's right. At the premiere gala yesterday, only your family came, Lou. Is Troy that busy?" said the woman with a bob cut while smoking a tobacco stick. "Sorry, but some reporters are whispering about your relationship."

"Hey, she never publishes who she's dating," continued Cory, defending Louisa. "Don't stress her out over your questions. Just enjoy tonight, girls!" He raised the champagne glass again while glancing at Louisa, not to worry. Louisa's red lipstick-smeared lips pulled into a forced smile, finishing the glass in one gulp.

For a while, Louisa was silent because she had not received any news from her lover, who was in Paris. According to the agreement two weeks ago, Troy was supposed to come to the film launch, but it was postponed because of a sudden photo shoot for the magazine's spring edition. Troy has not been contacted for three days, which worried Louisa. The other side of her is trying to understand the long-distance relationship since moving to Los Angeles, achieving each other's dreams even though they are so hard to live with. It cannot be denied that issues of love of location often occur between film actors or models.

However, Troy repeatedly assured Louisa that their love was too strong to be broken up by an affair. From these words and promises, Louisa again assured that Troy's heart and passion were only for her alone. He realised that lately, Troy had been difficult to contact, even if it was just a five-minute phone call. However, Troy's promises to confirm that after the work project, they would spend time together in Malibu echoed in his ears.

Finally, Louisa told her friends that Troy was having a photo session and catwalk event in Paris. Cory patted Louisa on the shoulder, implying not to discuss that silly question and diving back into the excitement. He whispered that a woman like Louisa could still attract many people's attention even without a man.

"Cory..." Louisa sighed.

"That's the truth, honey," Cory defended his opinion. "You're so popular here; Troy is the same. I never believed in Lou's long-distance relationship. It's too risky. Moreover, it's already the third day, and you..."

"I'll wait for him," said Louisa firmly. "You want to dance there? Let's dance until our feet cramp, Cory!" She asked him to change the conversation. Louisa didn't want her anxiety to escalate and ruin her mood.

"I like it!" Cory shouted excitedly.

Chapter 2 Byebye

Dizziness! That's what Louisa felt when Cory dragged her body to a luxury apartment in Malibu. Her legs were no longer able to walk any further, especially in a semi-conscious condition like this. The scenery around the girl seemed to spin until Louisa had to empty her stomach several times. Luckily, it didn't hit Cory's car dashboard or the eccentric man's sweater. If so, maybe Louisa will be the subject of criticism for a week.

As soon as they arrived in the room bathed in moonlight filtering through the window curtains, Cory and Louisa threw themselves on the soft mattress and laughed as if what happened tonight would be an opening to their success. Even though her body was weak due to expelling all the contents of her stomach, Louisa still remembered the most significant achievement during the quarter century of her life. It felt like a dream had come true, the girl thought. She also didn't expect that accepting an offer from a production house could bring her name to something like this. Then, she adjusted her sleeping position, looking at the ceiling when Cory said,

"This was an amazing night for both of our careers."

"You've said that many times, Cory," said Louisa, waving one hand. "Ah, tomorrow we will meet fans. I'm so nervous for the first time."

Louisa felt with one hand to find a black clutch, then reached for her cellphone, hoping there would be just one notification from her lover. The iPhone screen showed one o'clock in the evening, which means it was around ten in the morning in Paris. Louisa pressed her lips tightly to swallow the bitter reality as she looked at her cell phone. There was still no sign of Troy wanting to take the time to congratulate her, even if it was just a text message. Is Troy so busy he doesn't have a break? Even after Louisa tried to send hundreds of letters, Troy suddenly disappeared into the Earth.

The girl took a deep breath, trying to expel the chunks of rock that were filling her chest, as she put the cell phone back down with no interest. Though her little heart says no, many speculations are floating around in Louisa's mind. She always tried to understand Troy's activities, not just this once, so why didn't the man do the same for her? Long before the film was released, Louisa had made a list of things they would do together if Troy came. Or if he is busy and doesn't have time to fly to LA, Louisa still has a backup plan, namely having dinner and watching a film via video call. In fact,... he was just a lonely companion among the crowd.

"What happened to you?" Cory asked, shifting his body closer to Louisa. He furrowed his eyebrows as if he could read what was inside her head. "Oh, I'm sorry, darling. Troy seems real--"

Before she had time to finish her words, a telephone call from the person she had been waiting for finally appeared, causing a smile on Louisa's face. Hopes that were previously gloomy have now emerged and are growing, hoping they will soon be realised. The girl immediately told Cory that Troy would call when he finished his project. Meanwhile, the manager could only roll his eyes, still not trusting the man Louisa was crazy about. However, he couldn't force his opinion when Louisa was in love.

Louisa hurriedly got up from the bed, ignoring the dizzy sensation in her head to seek privacy while receiving the call. Troy's deep, seductive voice instantly dispelled the feeling of depression that had enveloped Louisa. Bare feet previously sore from hours of dancing on the dance floor suddenly felt as light as walking on soft cotton. Troy's presence is a solace for Louisa's tiredness. Even if this man were here, Louisa would feel at home hugging the broad chest of her heart for a long time or just making out until her lips swelled. For her, no matter how bad the world is, it will look fine as long as Troy-her angel- is around.

She stood on the balcony and let the late winter wind sweep away the tiredness on her face. Meanwhile, the waves, a daily sight for Louisa, are making out intimately with the shoreline. She imagined sunbathing or playing beach volleyball with Troy like their vacation time together before their busy lives separated them. Louisa's long hair swayed with the air currents towards the Malibu beach. The longing that had been pent up for several days finally paid off when Troy's voice called her name.

"Schatz (Darling)!" Louisa exclaimed, calling her lover. "Where have you been? It's been almost three days since you--"

"I think we're ending this relationship, Lou," Troy interrupted suddenly, bringing a smile to Louisa's face.

It took Louisa a long time to digest Troy's nonsensical words until she picked at her right ear, afraid a blockage blocked her ears. She looked up at the star-strewn sky and then at the toes in sandals treading on the balcony. This sentence was not a daydream or hallucination, but it was too scary to be true.

"What do you mean?" Louisa is still in denial about what Troy said, but why is her heart suddenly being stabbed by hundreds of sharp knives? Why did her chest hurt so much hearing Troy's sudden decision? What is wrong?

"I just want us to say goodbye, Lou. I hope you'll be fine there. Goodbye," Troy said, then hung up the phone without waiting for Louisa's response.

God... I'm having a nightmare.

###

Her soul had drifted far from her body when Troy's words were still ringing in her ears. As time passed, Troy's voice dug deeper into Louisa's heart, creating a gaping wound that was so painful it was like being sprinkled with salt. Congested. Louisa hit her chest with her head, hoping that this painful lump would come out of there. The air around her couldn't clear Louisa's senses; instead, she screamed that her romance that had been going on for years had failed for no reason.

Beer cans were scattered on the balcony, but they couldn't erase Louisa's sadness. All night, she sat alone and didn't let Cory accompany her. She was wrestling with the contents of her head, digging for glimpses of her friends' statements about Troy's attitude, which did not show her as a loyal lover. Now, she was drowning in a pool of suffering due to thinking too positively about Troy, even though it was clear that the man was not who he used to be.

The aroma of warm chocolate wafted into Louisa's nose when Cory approached carrying two cups of warm drink. The girl turned away, hurriedly wiped away the wet traces on her cheeks, and forced herself to smile even though her facial muscles felt stiff.

Cory put the cup down, sat beside Louisa, and said, "Drink first to make you feel better, Lou."

Cory's fingers cradled his cup. He looked towards the Malibu beach near their apartment and then turned to observe the outline of Louisa's face. Like a chick that lost its mother, Louisa was so pitiful. Honestly, he felt sorry for Louisa even though, on the other hand, he felt relieved that Troy had broken off the relationship. For him, Louisa deserves a better man than her ex, especially since the actors here are more charming and Cory more or less knows their characters by heart.

"Can I not attend the fan meeting today, Cory?" Louisa asked, reaching for the cup of hot chocolate. When it touches the skin, warmth immediately spreads to envelop every bloodstream. Take a short sip, and the chocolate passes through the oesophagus and into the stomach. Chocolate is indeed the best thing to calm down, and the feeling of anxiety is starting to improve, although not completely. "I don't feel like I can meet people with swollen eyes like this. I'm afraid they will attack me with lots of questions."

"Yes, that's true. Curse Troy! I swear one day he will feel what you feel today, Lou," said Cory, hoping the universe would hear his swear. "But... you're the one they're waiting for, darling. There's still four hours left, Lou. I can help you compress it so it doesn't swell too much. Then you can wear sunglasses. How about it?"

"I'm... not interested, Cory. My body hasn't rested yet, and I'm in a terrible mood. I'm afraid I'll end up crying in front of them."

It wasn't long before Cory's cell phone rang loudly before the man responded to Louisa's request not to attend the fan meeting. Cory chuckled in annoyance that someone was bothering him at a crucial time like this. Since last night, he hurriedly ran to the device in Louisa's room. Cory's thick eyebrows furrowed when he suddenly found the assistant head of the agency contacting him. He was suddenly nervous to death, almost falling to the floor if not for his conscious command to answer the urgent call. Cory landed his butt on the edge of the mattress, squeezed his chest, and asked,

"What's wrong, Mr. Reese?"

"I have orders to convey a message to you to schedule a meeting between Ms. Bahr and Mr. Cross tonight," answered Mr. Reese.

"T-tonight?" Cory stood up and walked quickly towards the balcony where Louisa was still sitting, hugging her knees blankly. "Can it be another day, sir? Because we might--"

"Mr. Cross wants the schedule today, Mr. Conley," interrupted Mr. Reese, who seemed unwilling to accept rejection.

Louisa looked up, raising her eyebrows in curiosity as to who was calling, making Cory's expression pale as a corpse. Cory implied that Louisa should be quiet momentarily by placing his left index finger on his lips while his ears were still hearing the explanation from Mr Cross. As soon as Cory agreed and hung up, he exhaled as he rolled his eyes, feeling his head would explode right now. A rare invitation from Dean Cross was undoubtedly not to be missed, Cory thought. However, he was also in a dilemma because Louisa's psychology did not allow her to greet the agency's top management in a friendly manner.

One time, maybe last year, a week before Christmas, Louisa argued with Troy while filming a movie. Even though she is just an extra, sometimes Louisa prioritises her mood so that the shooting process takes longer. She doesn't hesitate to scold her if someone disturbs her emotions. Therefore, Troy went back and forth, reminding Louisa to be competent in managing her anger and not to mix personal problems with work. No matter how small the situation arises, as an artist immersed in film, you should act professionally instead of staying silent and crying over a bastard like Troy.

"You were invited by Mr. Cross tonight," Cory pointed out, "after your show in San Diego."

"Mr. Cross? For what?" Louisa asked, not understanding.

Cory knelt before Louisa, holding the artist's slender hands while looking at her expectantly. "Listen, Lou. In all my time working under Mr. Cross's agency, I've never heard of him inviting an artist to meet in person. Let's look at the positive side now; could it be that Mr. Cross gives you more opportunities? Friends? Money? Or does anyone recommend you to some film producers?"

"Cory..." Louisa almost refused when Corcy tightened his grip.

"I love you, Lou. And it hurts to see you get dumped by Troy. Now show that bastard that without him, you still shine, darling," said Cory passionately, as if a fire burned in his eyes. "If I were you, I would do anything to be alone with Mr. Cross. But remember, be careful with him."

"You said you accepted his invitation; now be careful. You're very inconsistent," Louisa sneered irritably. "If that's the case, it's better for me to reject it firmly, right?"

"Tsk! It's not like that, My Lady," said Cory angrily. "If he offers you to sleep with him, don't take it. Because many women get carried away and chase Mr. Cross like crazy, you can be heartbroken and please your feelings for men but still use your logic, Lou. Men will be as good as an angel and fierce as a lion when they find a helpless woman."

"So, I have to accept it but also be careful?" Louisa repeated.

"Exactly, darling. If he offers you a chance for a career, then take it! If he offers you a little brother under his pants, don't!" Cory said, rolling one eye.

Chapter 3 A Secret Baby

The noise of fans at the Convention Center was deafening when Louisa and the leading actor - Tony Bowman, walked onto the stage, waving with several other From the End players behind them. Shots from dozens of cameras immediately captured the movements of the stars without missing a single expression and distributed lightning that dazzled the eyes. They sat on chairs after being invited by the presenter to praise the success of the romantic film, which touched the blues but made the audience feel hot with the intimate scenes presented.

The host asked Louisa to stand up to express thanks for the fans' enthusiasm to fill this large building. She smiled broadly, waved again, and said, "Hi, everyone. I'm sorry I had to wear glasses because this morning there was a small incident involving my eyes. But don't worry, I'll be fine if I can meet you. I'm grateful that this film can be successful and exceed our targets. Without you, I am nothing. Danke! Danke!"

"Oh, I'm sorry about what happened to your beautiful eyes, Ms. Bahr," said the curly-haired presenter. "Okay, this time we will hold a question and answer session that we have gathered from some of your fans, the actors and actresses of From The End."

Then, one of the committee members gave a microphone to a woman with a fertile figure and a scarf around her neck. She looked at her new idols individually and then asked, "I want to ask Tony Bowman a question. How did you feel when you were on a project with Louisa Bahr? How did you two build such good chemistry that swept us completely away in your love story."

Tony Bowman blushed, glanced at Louisa, and then put his arm around his co-star. "Because I like this beautiful and talented girl." Tony's answer got such an unexpected reaction that Louisa clapped and laughed out loud at the man's sentence. "I'm serious, guys. She was a fun girl during the filming process, and we found so much in common that the chemistry built without realizing it."

Louisa nodded in agreement and added, "Tony is a handsome man, and who doesn't want his sense of humor when you're in a bad mood? He has jokes that make me feel at home."

This response made the SDCC building busier, whistling at Tony and Louisa's teasing. So, one of the audience raised a hand not far from the first questioner. The red-haired woman accepted the microphone with her heart pounding wildly, wanting to ask a question that tickled her mind. "I want to ask Louisa Bahr a question."

"Yes, please, Miss," asked Louisa.

"I saw on Twitter that you and your boyfriend broke up. Is it true that Troy Austin has a baby you don't know about?" asked the red-haired woman, knocking Louisa's heart to the floor. "How did you react when you found out you were having an affair, Ms. Bahr?"

What?

Cash Louisa froze like a human who had just received a curse with her mouth open. Her ears were ringing to the point of pain, and the enthusiastic smile she was trying to put on her face suddenly disappeared, replaced by shock at the fan's statement. Her brain was suddenly paralyzed, and she couldn't reply to the remark. Instead, dozens of questions emerged from other fans who protested that this should not have been asked because it disturbed her personal life.

And as if she had been turned upside down, Louisa repeated the woman's statement about Troy's child over and over again. Denying what happened earlier was not reality but a joke that wanted to drop her name when she started becoming famous. Without realizing it, Louisa almost burst into tears, remembering how stupid she was about the other side of Troy's life in Paris. A baby? Louisa wanted to smash Troy's head against the wall right now and then throw him into the crocodile cage so he would know how broken her heart was right now. How could that bastard have a baby while they were having an affair?

Unfortunately, Louisa's ignorance and harmony with Troy all this time backfired. They shred Louisa's heart into minor pieces, then sprinkle with salt. The pain was excruciating; she couldn't define the extent of the pain she was experiencing now. It was as if Louisa had been strangled and then pushed into the most bottomless abyss without allowing anyone to help. Now, she felt like the most stupid person in the world. She should have noticed the change in Troy's attitude towards her, how the man had begun to distance themself so there would be no more communication between them. Louisa thought it was all due to Troy's busy schedule, but he was playing with other women.

"Lou, after my work is finished... I want to go to LA to meet you," Troy promised via video call.

"I can't wait, Troy. Let's spend time wherever you want."

"A proposal? Where do you want to be proposed to?" Troy asked with a blush. "I want to propose something we can't forget for the rest of our lives, Babe."

"Fuck Troy!" Louisa grumbled, getting up from her seat and leaving the stage just like that.

###

Louisa Bahr, the actress who made her name in the film From the End, was dumped by Troy Austin.

Responding to rumors of a breakup that were never made public, Cory, the manager, denied Troy Austin is not worthy of being Louisa's lover.

Louisa's fans were furious at the audience's questions, which ruined the atmosphere at the press conference at SDCC. Embarrassing!

"Oh shit!" Cory growled, reading one of the headlines on the internet as they were going to the place to meet Dean. "I'm not even saying that you are better than Tony. The media is too much!"

Louisa leaned her head against the car window with tears streaming down her cheeks. Ignoring Cory's words, Louisa still tried to contact Troy to ask for an explanation that what the know-it-all woman said at SDCC was not reality. She was still in denial and thought everything that happened to her today was just a game. Louisa growled when Troy answered none of her telephone calls; instead, they were diverted to the mailbox. Not long after, the number was blocked. She banged her head against the window, completely frustrated over the nightmare she was receiving.

Louisa wanted to curse and pull Troy's curls and then chop the unknown man's body into many pieces. How could he hide this bitter truth during their seven-year relationship? What did she lack that Troy would have the heart to cheat on Louisa with another woman? Doesn't he realize that Louisa did all these accomplishments for him, too?

What kind of woman managed to snatch that bastard, Troy?

Cory patted Louisa's shoulder, implying that the girl's tears were too expensive to cry for Troy. A second tissue box was given on the dashboard and deliberately provided by a dashing driver. Whether it was a coincidence or God was on this poor girl's side, a black limousine caught up with Louisa and Cory at a time when gossip chasers were constantly asking questions about the breakdown in the love story of Cecilia. The man, whose face resembled a fat version of Brendan Fasser, explained that Dean Cross had ordered him to pick them up and take them to a private place where no one would disturb them.

"I'm just sad why he's hiding all this, Cory," said Louisa, sobbing. "What am I lacking? I always obey her wishes. Our relationship has never had any problems, and now... I'm like a stupid donkey who doesn't know anything that he has a baby from another woman."

"Lou... please... wipe your tears, darling. You're too elegant for a cheap man like Troy. There are still many charming men who can please you. Yeah ... for example, Tony Bowman. Ah, forget it! I wouldn't say I like Tony's ways. "I was looking at you earlier. OK, back to the original problem, Lou. You are beautiful, smart, and sexy; whatever is beautiful is in you. Don't dwell on sadness because I'm sure there will be a man who wants to heal your wounded heart," explained Cory at length. You pulled Louisa into a hug.

Louisa did not respond to her manager's advice and motivation. The sentence just passed through my ears without having time to digest it in her head. Louisa was busy picking up the debris of her broken heart while praying silently that Troy would get recompense one day.

Then, she moved away from Cory's warm embrace and turned towards the street, where the magnificent buildings became smaller as she crossed the Coronado bridge. She opened the car window slightly, letting the night breeze blur her anguish from settling to the bottom of San Diego Bay. Louisa's tears dried up in seconds as if nature didn't want her always to be sad. However, the hole in Louisa's chest was too big to close at once. This wound may take weeks or months to heal to accept a new person. She shook her head slowly, unsure of what Cory was saying.

After walking along the circular bridge that connects San Diego with Coronado, Louisa was greeted by restaurants, souvenir shops, three to five-star hotels, and cars parked neatly on the side of the road. Towering coconut trees also decorate the city's streets while the smell of the sea begins to waft into your nose. Besides, even though winter isn't over, people feel at home walking through the shops under thick coats. There was jealousy in Louisa's heart when she remembered Troy's promise to her that they would spend the holidays together.

This limousine finally entered a legendary hotel area two centuries ago. The setting is large and forms a circle decorated with shrubs along the yard, so it doesn't feel too hot even though it's on the beach. The trees tower like sentinels, while the main building reminds Louisa of the Victorian style of the 1800s.

The hotel building's paint is consistent, with only brick red on the roof and white on the walls. A perfect combination that makes Louisa feel like she's back home. The yellow lights burning in each room give a warm and romantic impression, like hundreds of fireflies wanting to provide light in Louisa's life. Once again, he was carried away by the atmosphere displayed by the hotel.

As soon as the car engine stopped, the door was opened by a waiter in formal clothes. His friendly gaze ushered Cory and Louisa out and said, "Ms. Louisa Bahr?"

"Yes, that's me," answered Louisa, pulling clear liquid from her nose. She was evil at appearing in front of people, she thought.

"Nice to meet you, Miss. You have been waiting for Mr. Cross at Serena Restaurant."

"Without my manager, you mean?" Louisa pointed at Cory.

"Don't worry about me, Lou. I'll hang around here for a bit, and maybe we can stay the day," Cory suggested. "Enjoy your dinner with Mr. Cross," he whispered, straightening the leather jacket that wrapped Louisa's body. "Don't cry. I'm sad if you're like this."

"Okay," said Louisa wearily.

She couldn't help but walk alone, led by a man with a slim body and long legs, saying that the girl had been waiting for her all along. The waiter expressed his pleasure at meeting Louisa in person and apologized for being unable to attend SDCC. However, the man who is probably his biggest fan regrets the issues that have arisen and asks the star to be patient in dealing with love problems.

Louisa responded with a faint smile, slightly raising the sunglasses from the bridge of her nose and restraining herself from crying again even though she was about to meet the agency's highest management. Louisa wondered whether Mr. Cross had heard the hot rumors about him and Troy. Will she get his sympathy after this?

Who knows. I'm not interested either.

While walking side by side, Louisa was amazed by the architecture that once built this magnificent hotel. If it weren't winter, perhaps more visitors would come to sunbathe in the sun or surf on the rolling waves that kiss the shoreline. One of the things that Louisa longed for was to get rid of boredom.

The man stopped right at a restaurant with a seafood menu and invited Louisa to come in. The girl nodded without asking many questions and stepped deeper into her boots-clad feet until presented with an outdoor atmosphere directly connected to the beach area. She gaped momentarily and would melt if a man asked her out there.

How could it not be? The decorative lights feel so sweet combined with the white wooden table and neatly arranged chairs. Matching umbrellas protect visitors from the sun while closed as if not to allow the seascape and sparkling stars to be obscured. A breeze ruffled Louisa's hair, and she froze momentarily when she saw the man in the gray shirt standing to greet her. His dark ocean-blue irises glistened as a crooked smile appeared on his thin lips.
