Chapter 1 It's Over

"Jeez! Laura, hurry!Today we are going to have a great time, the last bachelor party, and I have prepared the best and most interesting surprise for you." Aly yelled at Laura, her best friend who was paying the cab driver. They had just reached their final destination------ The city's most famous and most expensive bar "SEVEN SECOND". The first choice for celebrities and young masters.

.

It was 30th of August, just a day left to the new month and the day Laura has been waiting for. Her wedding day!

.

Aly danced her way into the club since it was her favorite song.

"I love this song so much!" She cheered and kept on shaking her hair. Laura admired the club and the multi colored light.

"Come! Dance with me!" Aly yelled at the top of her voice due to the loudness of the music.

"No, I'll go grab a drink. You carry on" she replied and walked away, finding herself a sit which she finally did.

She threw herself to the couch and brought out her phone. She got a text message from Frank. Her face brightened with a smile. Of course, she had been expecting his message.

She texted back but suddenly got interrupted when a hot bar attendant walked towards her.

"What can I get you ma'am?" He asked. His voice alone made her jerk her head to face him. She swallowed hard and blinked repeatedly.

"Um... J..juice. I'll take strawberry juice" Laura stammered because there was a god standing before him. He was blest with sky blue eyes, his smile could melt her away, even his cute dimples. She was sure his lashes were longer than hers.

She wasn't done day dreaming when he snapped her back to reality.

"Do you want cubes in it?" He asked.

.

"You've got to be kidding me. This is like the most expensive club and you are taking juice. What the f*ck!"

"Hey!" Aly snapped at the waiter.

"Yes ma'am" he replied, still wearing that gorgeous smile. Laura sucked in her lower lips and scratched the back of her head.

"I want your finest alcohol" she said.

"No! I can't take alcohol Aly. My wedding is in two days time"

"Go!" She ordered the bar attendant. He hurriedly left to get the best alcohol which Aly had ordered.

"I can't take alcohol. What if something happens?" Laura asked. She remembered the last time she drunk alcohol. It was her opening night for her new business. She did the unimaginable. Frank was able to forgive her the last time but warned her that he won't forgive her the next time.

"I insist. I'm right here with you, nothing is going to happen. On a day like today, it would be boring not to drink." Aly promised her with a crossed finger.

"Fine, I'll just take one percent" she said and smiled.

"Sure, one percent is just fine. You know I want the best for you." Aly replied.

.

.

The next morning, the rays of the sun splashed into the room through the light curtain, shining it's bright light on Laura's face. She blocked the sunlight and turned to the other side, groaning. Slowly, she opened her eyes and blinked repeatedly. She saw that she wasn't in her room.

Her hunch was not very good, and the hand under the quilt touched her chest and went down a little. . .

"Ah..." she screamed, naked and trying to remember how she came to this room.

"Oh no! What just happened?" She asked herself.

"But there's no one here" she said again as her heart started beating fast.

Quickly, she looked for her phone to call Aly. That was when she sighted something on the mirror.

"THANK YOU FOR LAST NIGHT, I ENJOYED EVERY BIT OF IT."

Looking down at the words, Laura gasped.

The person in the photo is officially her and the lovely barman from last night.

He kissed his neck.

He stroked his back.

They hugged tightly. . . .

And she looked satisfied. . .

No matter how she tried, she couldn't remember anything that happened last night. She grabbed her phone and called Aly.

"Come on, pick up, pick up..."

"Hey Aly! Where are you?"

"I should be asking you that question Laura. I was at your house but you weren't there. Where the f*ck are you? You just puffed out of the club like some fairy"

"I'm sorry. I'm really sorry but... I don't know where I am. I think I'm in a hotel or inhouse. Come get me please, I'm in big trouble." she pleaded.

"Sure, I'll be right there" Aly disconnected the call and rushed to where her best friend was. She was so worried sick about her.

.

Minutes later...

Aly rushed into Laura's room. Laura saw Aly and hugged her.

"Thank goodness you're here. I can't think straight anymore. Look at those pictures on the table. How the heck did I end up with that bar attendant? He even wrote those words on the mirror with a red lipstick?"

"Relax, we just have to go back to the club and find him. Perhaps, he can explain what happened"

"I need to burn those pictures. If Frank finds out that I..."

Her phone rang, it was Frank. She shook in fear and sat down on the bed.

"Pick it up" Aly said to her. She wiped the tears off her cheek and answered the call.

"Hey baby" she said.

"Laura, where are you?" He asked.

"I'm at.. um..." She stammered. She didn't know what to say. She just didn't know what lie to give to him.

"Cat got a hold of your tongue. Be at the company in ten minutes!" He yelled and disconnected the call.

The phone slipped from her hand.

"He hasn't yell at me that way before. Did he know something? ?

"They are right here honey, just relax and let's go to him" Aly said and helped her pack up the pictures. She also helped her out of the hotel and drove her to Frank's company.

.

Laura wasn't still herself. She shook in fear, wishing for Frank not to find out about what happened between her and the mysterious attendant last night.

Aly stared at her through the front mirror and looked away from her. She was a little excited.

.

After some minutes, they got to Frank's company and pulled over. Laura was scared to go to his office. Aly had to assist her and gave her the courage. Still, she was scared. After so many minutes of talking, she carried herself into the company and head to her fiance's office. Aly was right by her side.

"Good morning baby" she greeted him with a big fake smile, walking towards him to give him a big hug. Frank shot her a hard glare which made her stop halfway towards him. He glanced at her from head to toe.

"Why are you wearing that dress from yesterday?" He asked.

"Um... I..I love it" she replied, smiling again.

They've been in a relationship for four years. Frank owned a company which his father handed to him after he died. He was left to take care of his sisters and mother but he was doing very great, even much better than his father.

Frank was every girl's dream. He had what every girl wanted in a man. Money, cars, house, that cute smile, trust, patient and six inches. Yes, six inches.

"How long have we been together Laura?" He asked.

Laura wondered why he was asking her all of a sudden.

"Four years" she replied.

"Good, I'm glad you remembered. Tomorrow is our wedding. I've given you everything you ever wanted but you decided to pay me back by sleeping with some godforsaken man" he said. Aly gasped and covered her mouth.

"What do you mean?" Laura was still trying to stay calm.

He grabbed a brown envelope from his table and brought out the pictures. He threw them at her face. Laura stood there and lowered her gaze. She wished she would not cry but she couldn't help it. The tears rolled down her cheek and landed on the pictures on the floor.

"Frank, I can explain. It was a mistake"

"A mistake for you to be on the bed with another man. I'm sure he made you moan more than I do or not? I wanted to tell this to your face so I won't be the coward" he paused and walked towards her. He shoved her hair to the back of her head.

"The wedding is cancelled. It's over between us" he said. Laura quickly raised her head and stared at him. She grabbed is suit and shook her head.

"Please, don't do this to us. Our relationship can't just go down the drain Frank. Listen to me, it's my fault. I took alcohol, just give me one more chance" she cried.

Frank harshly pulled himself from her and pushed her away.

"Leave my office and never show your ugly face in front of me, ever!" He yelled. Aly was also crying by the corner. She was going to find out the person that did this to her friend. She was going to make him pay.

Laura crawled after frank and hugged his feet.

"Please Frank, give me another chance. We can't just end this when we are getting married tomorrow" she cried.

He kicked her away. Laura fell and bumped her head to the corner of his desk. She started bleeding but she didn't care. She wanted Frank back. The pain of losing him wasn't compared to the one she's feeling now. Aly couldn't take it anymore. She walked towards her friend and pulled her out of Frank's office.

"Let's go. You are better off without him" she said, also crying.

"No! Tomorrow's wedding must go on schedule, Aly !" She cried as she was pulled out of the office by her best friend.

Chapter 2 Marry Me

Aly closed the door after Laura entered the car. Laura couldn't understand how everything just happened suddenly. What was she going to do? Tears gathered at the corner of her eyes, waiting to drop.

Her friend entered into the car and fastened her seatbelt.

"Laura, fasten your seatbelt. I'm moving now" Aly said softly. The tears couldn't help but roll down Laura's cheek as she stared at Frank's company.

Aly sighed deeply and let Laura be. She started the car and drove off. She drove off to Laura's house.

It was a very beautiful house where she lived alone. It was the first asset she bought when she got her first profit from her company.

"We're home now" Aly announced.

"I'll have to get married by all means tomorrow" Laura muttered slowly. Aly furrowed her eyebrows, trying to understand what her friend just said. At first, she thought she was out of her mind but Laura kept on saying it all over and over again.

"What do you mean?" She asked. Laura turned her gaze at her friend and gave a fake smile.

"What do I tell mom? I was going to surprise her with my marriage but now, it's all over" she said.

"So, what do you have in mind?" Aly asked.

"I need to get married to anyone tomorrow. To protect myself and my reputation. My sister is going to mock me if I don't get married tomorrow"

Aly smirked.

"Hold on, so... Who are you going to get married to? You have less than twenty four hours to find yourself a suitor"

"I'm going to find that bar attendant. He slept with me last night and he ruined my life. He has to get married to me"

"Are you crazy Laura?! You are a business woman! What would people say when you get married to a bar attendant? Besides, your mom has seen Frank before"

"Yeah, only on the phone. She won't be sure about his face or how he looks like. Aly, if you really love me, please help me" Laura pleaded, rubbing her palms together.

"Fine, I'll help you. Tell me what to do" Aly said.

"I need to find him. Take me to the bar" she said.

"Aren't you gonna wash up and eat something?"

"I just got my heart broken few minutes ago, that's enough for me. Let's just go" Laura said, almost yelling.

"Fine" Aly rolled her eyes in frustration and started the engine again. She drove out of the compound and head to the club.

.

Laura rushed into the club like a crazy being. He found the manager of the club.

"Hey, good morning" she said. He turned and stared at Laura staring at her from head to toe.

"Who are you?" He asked, taking the cigarette off his lips.

"I'm... my name doesn't matter. I was here last night and something weird happened. I need to find one of your bar attendant. I have no idea what his name was"

"Last night? Time?" He asked.

"10pm till midnight" Aly replied.

"Oh, he worked for the night. He doesn't work here at all" the manager replied. Laura felt her world spinning. She staggered and almost fell. Her life was completely ruined.

"Do you have any idea how we can find him? Like, an address or something?" Aly asked.

"No, I don't. Excuse me please" the manager said and left. Laura sat on the chair, staring into the thin air.

"No, he can't be gone. We need to find him Aly"

Aly squatted beside her friend.

"If there's something I can do, I'll help you with it. Right now, you need to rest babe"

"Rest? No! I can't!" Laura yelled and sprung up.

"You heard what the manager just said. We can't find him. Just tell your parents about it and..."

"You know what? Fine, you can head home if you don't want to help me. I'll find him myself" Laura said and stormed out of the club.

"Laura! Stop!" Aly went after her friend. When she went out of the club, Laura was no where to be found.

"Where has she gone to?" She murmured, asking herself.

.

Laura did everything to find the bar attendant. She must get married tomorrow no matter what.

She remembered when she left her parents house to become an independent lady which she did. Her mother gave her a whole month to get married and tomorrow is the first day of the new month, the day she's supposed to get married. What would her mother think of her after telling her everything about frank.

Laura was deep in thought as she stepped her feet into the road. A car almost ran her over. People heaved a breath of relief as the car stopped.

Laura just wished the car could hit her so she won't need to go ahead with the wedding tomorrow.

The driver alighted from the car and walked towards Laura who was on the floor.

"I'm sorry. Please stand up" he said. Laura shot her eyes wide open when she heard that familiar voice. She jerked her head up to stare at him. There and behold, he was right in front of her. The man she has been looking for.

"You..." She said.

He remembered her face and tried to run away. Laura grabbed his leg and stood up.

"Stop there you jerk! How dare you try to run away after ruining my life?" Laura yelled at him. He grabbed Laura's hand.

"You're making a scene. Besides, I didn't ruin anyone's life" he said in a whispering tone.

"Hey! Driver! Are we going to leave or not?!" A lady peeped outside the window and yelled at him.

"I'm coming ma'am!" He yelled. The lady pushed her head back.

"I can't let you leave" Laura said and entered into the car. He sighed deeply and walked into his car. He need to drop his customer before answering Laura.

.

Tyler spent two hours on the road after dropping his customer. He stopped by a Cafeteria where he got the chance to talk to Laura.

"What can I get you?" The waiter asked as they sat down opposite each other.

"Coffee is fine" they chorused. A smile appeared on the waiter's face.

"More sugar or less sugar?"

"Less" they replied again.

"I'll be back" she said and walked away.

.

Laura slammed her hand on the table and drew herself close to the table between them.

"You are going to explain what happened between you and I last night. Tell me! Do you know what you just did? You ruined my life! I was supposed to get married tomorrow but the news of what happened got to my fiance and the wedding got called off" Laura said with a teary voice.

"I don't remember what happened" Tyler replied.

"Oh yeah, you really don't? Well, here's what's gonna happen. I am going to go straight to the point because I hate beating around the bush. I have to get married tomorrow by all means. You have to marry me" she said. Tyler smirked and leaned back on his chair. He slipped his finger into his hair and smiled again.

"I can't get married to you. I won't even get married to you" he said.

"You have no idea what I'll do to you if you don't" she threatened him. Tyler's smile slowly faded away.

"What would you do?" He asked.

" Get married to me or I'll report to the cops and get you arrested for rape. I have evidence just so you know" she said.

"What are you doing? You don't even know me"

"You also don't know me and what I can do. Marry me!" She said.

"Your coffee" the waiter finally came. She carefully placed the hot coffee on the table and left.

Tyler took his cup and sipped from the coffee. He can't get his life ruined. He had two options. Get arrested or marry the lady in front of him.

If he gets arrested, no one would save him, not even his father.

"Fine, I'll marry you. But, I have my condition" he said, placing his cup on the table.

"Spill it!" She said, glaring hard at him. She waited for him to tell his condition already.

"After three months, we go our separate ways" he said.

Laura herself knew she can't spend the rest of her life with a poor man. Three months was enough for her to find another man.

"Sure, it's a deal then. We get married tomorrow and listen to me, you need to lie about what you are and who you are. You are not a bar attendant or... Driver. You are a business man"

"What?" He asked.

"I know how poor you are. Where do you sleep? A church? You'll stay with me in my house. Once our time together is up, we go our separate ways. Deal!" She said. Tyler sighed deeply.

"Deal!" He replied. He was saving up money for his rent but seem like there was no need for that anymore. He got kicked out of the house three days ago. His father had warned him never to come back to the house until after three months. Seem like, he doesn't need to work very hard to get his money for rent anymore. He just had to endure and be with this brat for three months.

Chapter 3 Aly, The Betrayer!

Laura walked into her house. She switched on the lights and turned to head to her room.

"Welcome home sweetheart"

"F*ck! Mom!" She was frightened. She placed her hand on her chest, breathing hard. Her mother's sudden presence wasn't what she expected.

"Hey sissy, I made dinner" Katie walked out of the kitchen. She was Laura's younger sister. She's just 19 but she's smart.

"Why are you wearing my dress?" Laura frowned.

"I saw it in your room and decided to try it out. It just won't come off my body" Katie smirked and returned to the kitchen.

"Mom? You're supposed to be here tomorrow and not today" Laura murmured. Her mother walked to her and hugged her tight.

"You proved me wrong sweetheart. Seem like you are capable of doing everything on your own. Can't wait to see Frank for myself tomorrow. I'm sure he is as cute as I saw him in the picture" her mother said and ruffled her daughter's hair. Laura wish she doesn't have to get married tomorrow.

"Yes mom. I also can't wait" Laura said and gave out a sarcastic laugh.

"Dinner is ready!!!" Katie yelled from the kitchen. Laura grabbed her mother's hand and they found their way to the dinning table.

.

Tyler locked the door of the bus and walked towards the backseat. He had no idea if he should call this his new home since he was sent away from his house. He left without any cloth, nor money.

He laid back on the seat, facing the ceiling. Images of what happened days and weeks ago flashed back in his memory. He never could imagine his step mother doing something like that to him.

.

It all happened last week, Tyler was on his way to his father's company. He replaced his father in the shareholders meeting and they all gave good reviews about how he did well. This reviews made Jane angry. She wanted one of her son's to become the next CEO of his company but it was going to be impossible. She thought of getting rid of his existence and that was how she planned an accident for him. Luckily for Tyler, he wasn't in the car, just his driver was in the car. He ended up dying. Jane was excited but suddenly saddened when she discovered that Tyler's body wasn't found in the car crash.

His father knew that it Jane's doing. He then sent message for him not to come back home and remain where he is.

.

Tyler gave a loud sigh. He started to imagine himself getting into an accident. He turned to the other side, feeling uncomfortable and also trying to sleep. He needed to rest for his wedding tomorrow.

.

Frank threw himself on the couch, completely devastated. He wasn't going to spend a lot of time at the office but he had to since he had no wedding tomorrow.

He remembered when he walked into his office this morning and found a brown envelope on his table. It was an anonymous sender. After seeing the pictures, his heart fell. He never expected Laura to cheat on him.

His doorbell snapped him back to reality. He frowned and stole glances at the wall clock. It was almost 10pm.

It rang again. He sighed and tiredly walked to the door. He pressed his passcode and pulled the door.

"Aly?" He called out.

"Yeah, it's me" she replied.

"What are you doing? If you are here to talk about me getting back with Laura, it's a big no!" He yelled.

Aly smirked and hung her back on the hanger.

"I'm not here for that. I'm here for you" she said and threw herself on him. Frank pulled himself away from Aly and frowned.

"What the f*ck are you doing? I broke up with your best friend and you're trying to get me"

"Well, I work hard for it. I need my reward, which is you baby" she said and touched his nose.

"What?"

"I took the pictures and sent them to you. I tried my best to stop her from drinking and warned her that something could happen but no, she didn't listen. She even dared you to see what you could do if anything happen" she lied.

"I'm not changing my mind still. She slept with a stranger"

"I know right. But... What would you do tomorrow? What would you say to your mom about the wedding?" She asked, playing with the button on his shirt.

Frank gazed at her and smirked.

"What are you trying to say?"

"I could do anything for you Frank. I won't cheat on you like... Laura did. Just marry me" she bit her lower lips seductively.

Frank cleared his throat and adjusted his standing position as Aly kept on brushing her finger on his chest.

"How can I trust you Aly?" He asked, taking her hand off his chest.

"I just saved you from getting married to a cheater" she said.

"Nice try smartie pants" Frank smirked.

"I guess that's a yes" her lips curved into a smile.

"Be at the court by 11am" he said.

"No" she said. He furrowed his eyebrows.

"We'll be going together sweetheart" she said and jumped on him, wrapping his arm around him. She pushed her lips to his, kissing him hard. Frank couldn't resist her touch anymore. He grabbed her a$$ and walked up the stairs.

.

.

The next morning...

It was the day Laura wished it hadn't come. She was getting dressed to go sign her marriage certificate with Tyler. She retouched her makeup and her hair.

After that, she stared at her phone to see if Aly had sent her a message.

"Where the heck is she? She isn't picking my calls" she said to herself.

She got interrupted by the knock on her door.

"Come in" she rolled her eyes, knowing it was her mother.

"Oh my baby, you look so beautiful. I can't wait for you to leave to Frank house and give me grandchildren" she said.

"Stop mom" Laura said, still trying to call Aly.

"It's almost time. Let's leave already" Katie said with a smile on her face. She was happy for her elder sister.

Laura stood up, giving up on Aly's reply.

"Let's go" she said.

Katie ran to her and gave her a big hug.

"Congratulations sissy. I'm gonna miss you" she said.

"Thanks Katie. You shouldn't cry. I'm not leaving. Let's go" she said and walked out of the house with her mom and sister. She lost her father in a road accident. No one survived it, not even her father's driver.

.

Speedily, she drove off to the court.

.

.

Tyler waited outside the court for Laura. He was early because Laura ordered him to.

His phone vibrated in his pocket. He brought it out and stared at the caller's ID. It was a private number.

He sighed and answered the call.

"Yes?" Tyler spoke softly.

"Where are you?"

"Somewhere you won't want to know" he looked round the environment and tried to block the sunlight from his eyes.

"Oh, which is?"

"I'm getting married" Tyler said.

"What?!!!"

"Relax. I want you to prepare a legal divorce paper for me. It will be over after three months" he replied.

"Yes boss, I will. What if your father hear about this? He..he was already getting you hooked up with the governor's daughter"

As Tyler listened to his assistant, he saw a car pulled over in front of him. He strained his eyes when he saw Aly with a strange man. Of course, he remembered seeing Aly with Laura the other night.

She clinged to his hand like he was going to run away. His gaze followed them till they walked into court.

"My wife will be here any moment. I need to hang up now" Tyler said.

"But boss..."

"Bye!" Tyler said and hung up.

He slipped his phone into his pocket. That was when Laura drove in. She alight from the car with her mother and Katie.

"Hey baby" she smiled weirdly at Tyler.

"Hi" he replied with a weird smile also.

Mrs Smith walked to Tyler and hugged him.

"Oh Frank, I've heard so much about you. You look so different from the picture Laura sent to me" she said. Tyler gave Laura a questioning look.

"Oh mom, he changed his name last week. He's Tyler now" she said.

"Oh, that's great. Hello Tyler" Mrs Smith said again, smiling.

"Um, let's go in already" Katie said. Laura stared at her phone with a sad expression.

"Aly isn't here yet. I sent her like a million message already"

"I saw her walk in with a man" Tyler said.

"A man?" Laura asked with a questioning look. She thought Aly must have spoke to Frank on her behalf.

Without waiting any second, she grabbed her gown and ran into the court. They followed her behind.

She stopped when she saw her best friend with ex fiance.

"Aly? You helped me talk to him. Thank you so..." She said, wanting to hug her but Aly stopped her.

"Don't a step further. I wouldn't want to get contaminated with a cheat. Let's go home hunny" she said to Frank.

Frank smiled at Aly and helped her shove her hair to the back of her ear. Laura thought she was dreaming. She opened her mouth to speak but no word could come out from her mouth. All she had was hot tears, running down her cheek.

Her mom and Katie were still trying to figure out what was going on. Laura gasped for breath as Aly walked out on her with Frank. Tyler stared at her. He could understand what was Laura going through. He just wished he didn't get stuck in this mess. He didn't understand why he was feeling so much pity for her.

"Who's that?" Her mother asked her. Laura turned away from her mother.

"It's nobody. I don't know who they are" she said and head to the office where she'll sign the contract with Tyler. Tyler followed her behind.

"Why does that man look so familiar?" Mrs Smith asked herself.

"Let's go mom" Katie grabbed her mother's hand and went to the office. Repeatedly, she turned to stare at the man that just walked out of the court. She found him so familiar.
