"You've satisfied me. Be a good girl, and don't make me mad." Alpha walked out of the room.
I turned my attention to the vent. It was still dark, indicating that the sun had not yet risen. Without wall clocks or cell phones, I'm like a primitive person who relies on sunlight to tell the time.
"Cold." I wrapped myself in a blanket. "Is winter coming soon?" I muttered.
I don't know how long I've been in this room. Seems like more than a year because yesterday was a new year. I watched the beautiful fireworks on television.
Through the vents, I also saw fireworks. The fireworks seemed so far away that I gave up, hoping to escape this room.
I'm sick of always being in my room, even though there is a television, and this room is so big that I can switch bodies with my wolf.
"Bored." I threw a pillow at the television that was showing a comedy show. "Everyone laughed, but I didn't. It wasn't fair!"
I threw pillows or combs dozens of times to express my frustration. But I hope the television is not damaged because the television's sound has kept this room from being quiet, and I wait for news about my dad or big brother, who is looking for my whereabouts.
I sat and straightened my legs. I let out a long breath, and my eyes fell on the advertisement on television.
"I want to wear that dress." My index finger pointed at the television. That woman makes me jealous; she wears a shirt and pants. Oh, she's also wearing high heels.
I want to wear something other than a nightgown. In the closet, there are only dozens of red nightgowns. Alpha didn't even give me sandals; I was barefoot.
The Alpha who locked me up is insane. He is only concerned with his lust. He appeared at night, his eyes filled with lust, which tormented him and turned him into a vicious man.
He really is crazy.
Every day I thought of how to strangle his neck, but I didn't dare to do it.
I'm weak and cowardly.
'No. You are not weak and cowardly. I'm the weak one. If I had been strong, we would have been out of this damn room a long time ago.' My wolf is sorry and sad. We couldn't comfort each other.
'If I kill that crazy Alpha..." I raised my head and stared at the ceiling. My mind wandered. Daydreaming, talking to my wolf, and meditation were activities I did every day.
'That's not a good choice. I told you, if you kill that bastard, the warriors standing at the door of this room will kill you. You will die.' My wolf sighed heavily through her mouth.
I closed my eyes. Ilona is right. I would rather kill myself than be killed. I've rummaged through this room and can't find anything sharp or rope.
Is that crazy Alpha going to torture me until I meet the grim reaper?
"Excuse me, Miss Red. Today is your time for a medical check-up." The soft sound and knock on the door startled me.
"That annoying woman," I muttered in annoyance. My name isn't Red! I don't like Alpha changing my name.
The door was opened by the warrior guarding the room. The woman with red hair and glasses approached me. She smiled broadly.
"How are you?"
I ignore it. That woman was a doctor and a subordinate of that crazy Alpha. She was ordered to check my health and ensure I took my medicine.
I never forget to take medicine because I don't want to get pregnant! I don't want to have children from that crazy Alpha. He's not my mate, and I don't want my son to have the same traits as his father.
"You always drink it." The woman sat down beside me after counting the pills in the bottle I had placed on the nightstand. She took out a medical kit and began examining my body.
I don't want to see her face and talk to her.
"You are in good health." The woman left after checking my health and recording my weight.
That crazy alpha forbids me to get sick, and I have to watch my weight. He forces me to take care of my physical health, but he doesn't care about my mental health.
I stood beside the bed, my gaze was drawn to the mirror on the dresser. I'm terrified of looking in the mirror. I'm not the same as I used to be–before I was locked up and became Alpha's sex slave.
I hold my hair; I've never cut my hair since I was in this room. There are no scissors on the dressing table, only make-up tools.
"Excuse me. I want to take dirty clothes." An omega knocked on the door. The Omega rushed into the bathroom and grabbed the basket of dirty clothes.
The omega didn't even look at me. Better that way. I hate those who give me looks of pity and ridicule.
Omega is the lowest class. If I could choose, I'd want to be the omega instead of serving that crazy Alpha on the sheets.
I stood on a pile of pillows. I put my hand on the wall. I watched the sky slowly get darker as the sun went down.
Through the vents, I always watch the sunrise and sunset. Only my hand has access to the ventilation hole. At least that crazy Alpha let some fresh air from outside into the room.
'Why are the walls so hard?' My wolf is furious. She howled and growled. Several times the warriors guarding the room banged on the door and asked my wolf to be quiet.
I switched bodies with my wolf. I can feel how much Ilona's head hurts. I'm afraid her skull is cracked.
Every day, Ilona attempts to demolish the wall. We don't care what floor this room is on. We want to escape from this place, return to my pack, and look for our mate.
'Ilona. Please stop it. You're only hurting yourself.' I'm worried. Although I'm not certain, I hope that my wolves will be able to destroy the wall this day or one day.
'I want to get out of this fucking place!' Ilona growled. Anger and annoyance burned in her chest, along with the desire to give up.
I've given up. I can do nothing but wait for someone to come to help.
I hope my dad or big brother doesn't give up looking for me and they get a clue where I am now.
"You always work hard." The hoarse voice stopped my and Ilona's heartbeat. My wolf widened to see that crazy Alpha; he stood three steps in front of Ilona. He clapped his hands with anger on his face. "I like your tenacity. You never give up and let the blood flow from your head."
I am surprised. I shouldn't have lowered my head! Ilona, I'm sorry.
'Ilona, control your emotions.' I prevented Ilona from replying or attacking that crazy Alpha. I can hear Ilona's thoughts that she really wants to kill him.
"You have made me angry." The crazy Alpha stroked my wolf head with a death glare. "I won't punish you. Quickly switch bodies with Red!" He used his Alpha voice.
He didn't punish Ilona, but he punished me, and I already knew what he would do.
"I told you you wouldn't be able to flee. You will always be in this room until I let you go." Alpha whispered, and his hand gently stroked my cheek. I shuddered. "I don't think I will." I don't want to be cooped up in this room forever; he's not my mate.
Alpha is on top of me. Alpha's eyes darken with lust. He kissed my lips as if he was about to devour me. He's mighty on the sheets, and tonight he's ferocious because he's mad at me.
"Moan for me."
I couldn't fight back, and I threw myself under his control. I gripped the sheets tightly.
Every day I dig into my memory, but I can't find that crazy Alpha face in my brain. I don't know his name or where he came from. I just remember how they kidnapped me.
At the time, I went to a cafe to celebrate my college friend's birthday. I came home before the event was over because my father told me to hurry home, and as I was about to get in the car, someone hit me in the head from behind with a piece of wood beam, and I fainted.
When I opened my eyes, I was already in this room, and Alpha was standing at the door with his arms folded across his chest. He has such a strong Alpha aura, and he ordered me to obey him.
"I've read your health report." Alpha put on his pants and shirt. My eyes and his met. "I'm glad that you are always healthy and that you can maintain your weight." He studied me up and down; I didn't wrap my naked body in a blanket; I was lazy to do it.
His eyes landed on my thighs, and his breathing became heavy again. I stared at him flatly. My body is very weak.
I obeyed him because I was afraid to die. I never enjoy bed sports with him; he is not my mate.
"No dust."
My eyes watched Alpha walking around the room. He made sure this room and bathroom were clean. He even checked my clothes.
"Clean. Too bad I can't give you an extra punishment." Alpha grinned. His face was terrifying, and the look in his eyes was lethal. He was like a predator staring at its prey.
"Tonight is a beautiful night." Alpha rushed away. The warrior standing guard at the door immediately locked the room.
I stared flatly at the black iron door. This room is a prison equipped with various facilities. I am a prisoner who does not know what wrong I have done.
'Cry if you want. If you want to be angry, be angry. Scream if you want to. Lavanya, don't hold back.' My wolf said softly.
I hugged my bent knees. My eyes are still staring at the iron door.
When I was first in this room, for three months, I cried every time that crazy Alpha left the room. Now my eyes can no longer produce tears.
I don't know what caused him to kidnap, lock me up and claim me as his slave.
I was a virgin before he raped me because I would only have intercourse with my mate, but I couldn't keep my promise. I'm not holy; I'm very dirty now.
'You are not wrong. You've taken care of him. Our mate will not be disappointed in you. We can't fight him.' My wolf always said that.
Those words do not cheer me up, nor do they make me feel any better. I blamed myself for being stupid; I should have killed myself in the first place. I was embarrassed, and I wasn't ready for my mate's reaction if find out I was the sex slave of a crazy Alpha.
"I don't know him, and I don't know what pack he is from," I muttered.
'Put on your blanket. Aren't you cold?' My wolf screamed to wake me up from my reverie.
I pulled the blanket to cover my feet.
'Your body, Lavanya. Don't just put the blanket on your feet. Don't torture yourself.'
My wolf is very talkative. I lay on the bed and wrapped myself in the blanket. I stare at the ceiling.
"It's breakfast time." An omega knocked on the door, opened a small door beneath the door, and pushed a tray containing a plate and glass.
It's morning, and I didn't sleep at all. I stare at my breakfast today, roast beef with french fries
"Finish the food." The omega shouted in front of the door. She was about to leave after I handed her the empty plate and glass.
I sat down on the cold floor. I drink before eating my breakfast. They always give me delicious food, but I don't enjoy it.
I eat without chewing it properly. I want to shower to get rid of the dirt on my body. Then I sit in front of the television, hoping for news about my pack.
I knocked on the small door; they used to give me food and drink. When the small door was opened, the omega's hand took a tray containing an empty plate and glass. Then the door was shut; they didn't let me see what was happening outside this room.
"Good. You have finished your food. Alpha will not punish you," said the omega. I couldn't see her face, but I knew she was a woman and she was in charge of delivering breakfast to me.
"Punishment?" I chuckled. "I eat because I'm hungry; I'm not afraid of punishment. I won't throw away food even though I don't know if you put poison or medicine in it."
'If there was poison, you would have died a long time ago.' My wolf sneered.
'I don't want to die being killed,' I said firmly.
I looked at the clothes in the wardrobe. "All the nightgowns are red. Does he like red, or does red turn him on?" I put on one of the nightgowns unenthusiastically. "I think I'm going to hate the color red."
I sit in front of the television. No programs or news caught my attention. I decided to do meditation.
One of the benefits of meditation, according to my dad, is connecting our minds with the person we want to be with. I haven't been able to connect my thoughts to either my father or my big brother. The Moon Goddess has never helped me.
"Breaking news. The Black Forest Pack and the Green Forest Pack have decided to end their truce."
I opened my eyes and stared at the television broadcasting the war. I frequently hear the names of those two packs, who have been sworn enemies for a long time. Although their packs are close to mine, they never attack my pack.
Even though I watched it on television, I could feel how fierce the war was. I haven't seen war in person in a long time.
"Alpha."
"We'll help you walk, Alpha."
"Let me go; I don't need your help!" That crazy Alpha voice. I stood up and stared at the door, my heart racing so fast it felt like it would burst.
The door opened, and Alpha staggered toward me. Alpha doesn't come to my room every day, and he came in drunk tonight.
I'm in danger.
"You have to be accountable. You must serve me as punishment for making me this way." Alpha placed his index finger on my forehead and stared at me with fierce eyes. "You'll be here forever." He smirked.
I don't know what he's talking about. Is there anything I've done wrong in the past for him to kidnap me and enslave me? I don't even know him.
"Why should I be accountable?" I was wide-eyed. I subconsciously said what was bothering me.
"Don't ask." Alpha strangled me, and his body radiated a murderous aura. I took his hand in mine and begged him to take his hands off my neck; I was having trouble breathing. But Alpha pressed harder on my neck, and I closed my eyes.
If today is the day, I die. I will not be angry at the Moon Goddess.
"Don't ask anything. You just need to obey me to replace them." Alpha growled. I could no longer smell alcohol on his body, indicating I would die soon.
"Alpha." Screams and footsteps reached my ears. Alpha was furious at them for stopping him from strangling me. The warriors asked Alpha to wake and tell him he almost killed me.
I coughed and held my sore neck. I inhaled too many breaths in to fill my empty lungs.
"Alpha!" The two warriors were shocked and panicked when the crazy Alpha passed out. Then they carried Alpha out of this room, and they never forgot to lock the door to keep me from escaping.
Alpha strangled me drunk for the first time. He's always been terrifying.
"What did he mean? Did I replace someone? Who has done something wrong, me or someone else?" These three questions haunted my mind for two days. I can't sleep well and eat deliciously.
If I find the answer, I'll understand why that crazy Alpha kidnapped, imprisoned, and claimed me as his slave. I was confused about who I should ask. The warriors and Omega will not speak to me.
I was surprised to hear the howling of the wolves. I rushed to watch the situation outside through the ventilation, even though I knew I could see nothing but the sky. I believe this room is at the top of the tower.
"The River Square Pack and the River Triangle Pack attack the pack. They smashed the gate, and Alpha ordered all warriors to fight them." The scream of a warrior reached my ears.
I stare at the door. This pack is under attack! Gosh, this is the first time I've heard of this pack being attacked in over a year of living in this room.
The wolves' howls and growls made me shudder. I sat on the edge of the bed and hugged my body as if I felt pain all over my body. My brain replays the moment I discovered my mother dead on the battlefield.
"Those painful memories broke my heart."
'Lavanya, remember I am always with you. Your mother died a hero, and she is already happy with the Moon Goddess.' My wolf said softly.
Ilona is right. I shouldn't be sad. Mother has sacrificed her life for the pack, and I want to be like her. Slowly my sadness turned into pride in her.
"The River Circle Pack was attacked by two packs that are its eternal enemies. The River Circle Pack's situation is chaotic; all warriors have descended on the battlefield to fight the enemy."
The news on television caught my attention. My eyes widen. "River Circle Pack? So this pack is the River Circle Pack." I am surprised.
'Why, Lavanya?' asked my wolf.
'This pack is very far from my pack.' I am very grateful to the two packs that attacked this pack; finally, I found out the name of this pack from the news on television.
"I want to clean your room." An omega knocked, and the warrior on guard opened the door. The Omega brought cleaning equipment. She cleaned the room and bathroom.
I watched her work. Another omega arrived to put the clothes she had washed and ironed into the wardrobe; then, she left when her work was finished.
That crazy Alpha is obsessed with cleanliness. If he finds dust stuck to the walls or cupboards, he will punish me by having intercourse in every corner of this room and the bathroom, and he will cut the salary of the omega who is in charge of cleaning this room.
"What's your name?" The Omega asked without looking at me. She focused on wiping the nightlight.
"Red."
The Omega laughed. "I know you don't like that name. I'll call your real name."
I stare at her. Only she, omega, wants to talk to me.
"Lavanya."
"I'm Friska."
"I know."
The omega chuckled. "I told you my name, yes. I forgot. You never call my name."
I don't really know her, so I don't want to call her name.
"Is it because we only meet once a week or because Alpha forbade you to talk to the omegas?" She looked at me curiously.
"I should be the one asking like that. Only you want to talk to me," I said.
She smiled. "Alpha didn't forbid us. He just threatened us not to tell you anything about him and this pack."
I smiled crookedly. I'm not surprised; I already expected it.
"But you never asked or talked to me about anything." She put down the nightlight slowly and waited for my answer with a big smile on her lips.
"Just wasting time talking to you. I won't get the information I need." I snorted.
She chuckled. Then she alternately looked at the door and me. Her face showed that she doubted. "Two packs attack the pack. The guard is weakened because all warriors must go down to the battlefield. I will assist you."
"Help?"
"I'll look at the situation. Wait a minute." She hurriedly left the room.
"What does her mean?" I didn't take her words seriously.
Two hours passed and the war was not over. I watched the war through a live broadcast on one of the television stations. I watched the war live on one of the television stations. Many dead wolves lay on the ground and were trampled by fighting wolves until their organs were scattered.
I wish that crazy Alpha were dead so I could escape this room.
"I'm weird and stupid. I said I didn't believe what the omega said, but I was waiting for the omega to open the door. I was curious to know what she meant." I took a deep breath. I lay on the bed and stared at the ceiling blankly.
Bad thoughts come to me. She couldn't possibly help me get out of this room; she helped me to meet the Moon Goddess immediately. She knew I wanted to kill myself, and right now, she was looking for a knife or rope.
'Lavanya, throw away your bad thoughts. You promised not to give up. You must remain alive. Believe it; we can get out of this damn room one day.'
My wolf reminds me to hold on and believe in an unknown future. Maybe Alpha's crazy words are true, and I'll be here forever.
My eyes widened when the door opened. The Omega approached me with a big smile, and her hand was shaking two locks.
"I apologize for keeping you waiting." The Omega held my hand, and her eyes locked mine seriously. "I will help you get out of this place. Please trust me, and don't ask too much."
I stared at her in disbelief. I must be dreaming.
"Wear this." She gave me the omega uniform that she kept under her clothes. I frowned. "You have to disguise yourself. Take it easy; you don't need to worry. Many omegas work in this house, and not everyone knows each other."
I stared at the orange omega uniform in my hand. I'm worried and in doubt.
"Trust me. I am a woman, even though I am an omega of the low class, but I have a conscience. You've been here for over a year, and although Alpha doesn't come in every day, I know you're in suffering. You are not from this pack, and you should return to your pack; your family must miss you." The Omega said softly, and her eyes showed sorrow. She rubbed the back of my hand.
