"We would like to announce that, this year 1.5 million worth project will be entitled to Dark Angel groups of company. The representative please come infront and sign the agreement"

Dark Angel group members clapped loudly. Before Robert step forward, he turned and grinned at Steve. The 56 years old Steve could not take another defeat from the 32 years old Robert. He felt his 31 years of pride being stepped by Robert. Robert came outside happily with his gang. Steve blocked his way with his gang.

"Robert.... seems like you had another lucky day"

"Heh, don't just blame the luck, it will destroy the hardworking that we have invested" he said in a calm voice and went near him.

Steve's bodyguards blocked him. Steve just waved his hands as a signal of 'it's okay'. Robert went near him and whispered.

"Do you want tips on how to win next time? Don't play dirty Mr Steve. Money and power cannot buy everything. It's Robert here, can't be defeated that easily. I will make sure you pay for everything before I leave this country" he grinned at Steve.

"Looks like you are not like your dad. (Robert's face expression changed) What, thought that I wouldn't be able to identify? You came to get revenge for your father, right?" asked Steve.

Robert chuckled. Steve looked at him with puzzled eyes.

"Never thought you are this slow Mr. Steve. I thought you would be able to find out, the moment I stepped in this country. You just realized it after your third defeat? Can't you feel your extinction is coming soon" he said with a sly smile.

"You little brat!!! I'm going to "

"Sorry Mr Steve, I don't have time to chat with you. I have an important appointment to attend. See yeah" he walked away with calm and cool attitude.

Steve left the place with full of anger.

Robert reached his house after a long, happy day. Once he opened his door

"BOOM!!!" Flora tried to startle him by scaring him.

But he just stands still with a broad smile. Slowly he closed the door behind him and walked towards her.

"Are you not scared? How come you are not scared? I even hide my shoes and hide in this place for 5 minutes" she said with a disappointed voice.

Robert grabbed Flora's waist and pulled her towards him.

"When I open my car doors, I could smell your cooking. Only you can cook like that. I know ready you are in the house" he said while caressing her hair.

She blushed.

"Oh really? Fine I'lI accept your excuse ...Okay come let's go and eat. You must be very tired" she grabbed his hands from her face and dragged him to the kitchen.

He took off his coat and tie, unbutton first two buttons and washed his hands. After washing his hands, he grabbed Flora by her hands and pulled her towards him. She looked with puzzled eyes.

"I won again, we managed to get the tender for the project" he said in a soft and sad voice. "What???!! Reallyy??? That's really a good news. Why are you sad? You should be very happy now!"

He just leaned towards her and buried his face on her shoulder.

"I don't know. I don't know whether I should be happy or not. Everytime I defeat him I feel sad. I don't want to take revenge on anyone. I just want to take back what belongs to my parents. I'm scared I will be trapped into this revenge web. I don't want" he mumbled like a small kid.

"Robert...look at me... Look at me " she gently lift his face and looked into his eyes.

"Robert...who said you are taking revenge? Do you know the meaning of revenge? Revenge is to make sure that he goes through what your parents went through. He betrayed your parents. But you didn't do it. Even when you planned to use me as the weapon to use against my father, you were not able to do it and end up in falling in love with me. You are not even good in acting not to mention revenge" she said.

"Really? You think so?... hmm by the way was I that bad when I acted as I'm loving you?"

"Ohh that was awful. Everytime you say "I love you" you won't even look into my eyes. It was so fake"

"So embarrassing" said Robert and covered his face using his shirt.

Flora grinned. She slowly pull down his shirt from his face.

"Back then, you don't even dare to betray other's feelings for your own intention. I'm the strongest weapon to destroy my father, but you didn't use me. I found it cute. That's when I fall for you" she said gently.

Robert's heart started to find some space to breath. He felt relaxed a bit. He started to step out from the darkness that swallows his heart.

"Thank..thank you...again and again you are pulling me out from the darkness" he said softly.

"But I'm afraid Robert. I'm afraid of my father. You have no idea how cruel he can be. He won't stop until he gets what he wants. He will go to any extent until... killing people. Just like your parents and.....my mother" suddenly her eyes filled with tears remembering her mother.

Slowly Robert embraced her in his arms and patted on her shoulder.

"It's okay nothing will happen. I came here, well prepared for all kind of possibilities. The only thing that I unexpected was your presence in my life. Haha I didn't expect I will smile and be happy again in my life"

She looked at him.

"Robert, whatever happens in the future please don't leave me alone. I was living a deadly life until you gave me hope to live again. If you really go away from me, I have nowhere to go" her tears started to come out from their cage.

Robert was shocked.

"Flora... don't cry. How can I let you go? We both are breathing using each other's energy. If I let you go, I'm a dead man too. I will never let you go even if you ask me to do so. In this lifetime, you are mine. Now please don't cry. If you cry my mind goes blank" he said while wiping her tears.

"Really? Hahah you really are good at consoling others"

"No I meant it. I really goes blank... if you cry. You have no idea how important you are to me. I want to keep you happy forever" he said calmly.

She blushed.

"Haihh... what is this? Why so lovey dovey right now...it's very hot over here. Come let's go and eat. Come!"

He just followed her with a huge smile on his face. They both were eating happily.

Flora realized it was going to be 8 pm.

"Oh my god. My father will be back around 9pm. I have to go home Robert. You finish this and I'll see you tomorrow" she packed her things.

"Wait. Come let me send you home"

"No no its okay. I can go back on my own. You were so hungry. Please eat first"

"Which man will make his woman go back alone in the night? Come let me send you back" he said it while picking up his wallet and car key.

"Okay whatever you say boss!" she smiled broadly.

"Hahaha good girl"

They reached her house. Before she get down from the car, she turned at him.

"Robert don't be sad. Everything will be fine soon. Okay?"

He just nodded with a smile.

"I'll see you tomorrow. Bye"

"Wait" Robert grabbed her hands.

"Hmm?"

"Are you just going to leave like that?"

She blushed knowing what he is going to ask about. He smiled and show her his cheek.

"Robert! Don't be like this. People might see us"

"What? This is not the first time. If you are too shy then let me" he tried to kiss her.

But Flora stopped him.

"No need. Tomorrow okay. I'll give tomorrow" she smiled and opened the door quickly.

But she couldn't open it. Robert locked the door. She gets the chill from behind. She slowly turned towards him. He was looking at her with a sly face.

"I asked you nicely right?" he came closer to her.

She gulped. He hold her faces in his hands.

"You really need some lesson honey" he smiled and pressed his lips against her.

She struggled but he didn't let her go. He kissed her deeply for 5 minutes. Then he slowly release her and wiped his lips.

"How was it? Do you like it?" he smiled.

She just kept looking down from embarrassment.

"Robert! You are so bad!!!" she punched in his arms.

"Okay...okay I'm sorry" he chuckled.

He opened the lock. She hurriedly left the car and went inside her house. Robert left the place with a satisfied smile. Flora just stood at the door and touched her lips slowly. She slowly smiled as she liked it too.

Suddenly, she could listen things breaking sound from her father's room. She came to reality. She just kept quiet and entered her room.

-In her father's room-

"How come you didn't find that he is Jason's son earlier?!!!" he shouted at his secretary.

"Sir, I'm sorry. His identity was kept very private and confidential. Even, we struggled a lot to find out his identity. I think someone from a powerful background is helping him out"

"Someone very powerful...powerful...who could it be...who could it be?!!" he threw a vase near the secretary.

"Sir we still haven't found out his foster parents. They took away him from the orphanage 1 month after his parent's death. They brought him to America and get him the American citizenship as well. Since they are from America it's quite hard to know their details"

"What are you blabbering? I don't care how much you spend. Form a team! Send them to America! Make sure they found his foster parents within 1 week!!!" he ordered.

"Yes sir" the secretary left the room.

"Robert...wait until I get you, you little rat!"

Robert's company starts to develop in an express way. In the following months he started to take over several projects from Steve's company. Steve couldn't take it. No matter how much he tries, he couldn't defeat him and couldn't get to know his foster parents.

"Sir I'm very sorry, still couldn't find his identity"

"Hmm...it's okay. Let it go. Seems like he is really from some powerful background. But he doesn't know about me, how powerful am I" he gave a vicious smile to his secretary.

"Darling, how are you?" his mom asked Robert through the webcam.

"Mom I'm doing great here. How are you? Did you have your breakfast? Have you taken your medicines?"

"Yeah I'm good too. See I'm very healthy, all because of your father. He is taking care of me like a princess" she smiled.

"Oh really? Mom don't trust him. It is not because he wanted to, but he scared that I will take you away from him and bring you over here. I warned him before I left"

"Ahemmm.... I don't need anyone's permission to take care of my wife. And I don't let others to take my wife away from me" his dad replied cynically.

"Don't flatter yourself too much just because my mom chose you over me. If I had cried and throw some tantrums that time, she would have followed me here leaving you all alone"

His mom laughed.

"Why are you laughing? Is what he said was true? Would you have left me alone?"

She just kept laughing.

"I told you she would choose me over you, right mom?"

"You little "

"Hahahha okay okay enough. I can't laugh anymore. You both are just like small kids. Honey you are older than him. Why are you always fighting with him?" she said while laughing.

"I don't like anyone taking my wife away from me"

"And I don't like to let go of my mom" he replied quickly.

"See! See! He is starting it!"

"Hahhahah... you both. I'm done laughing. I can't choose among you both. Both of you are my life. I can never choose among you both"

"I'm disappointed" his father said in upset voice.

"Love you mom. If you don't like him just call me, I will kidnap you from him. Hahahah"

"Hahahha okay. I know you will. Okay it's very late. Go back to sleep first. I'm going to prepare the lunch"

"Okay mom. Take care of you. Mom...Love you" he gave his mom flying kiss.

"Love you too my darling" she gave him a flying kiss as well.

"Okay enough with this 'flying flying' kiss. Go continue your work. I will have some words with him"

"Again? Business talk? Whatever, but don't talk too long. He needs to sleep on time"

"Yeah yeahh.." his father said and sat on the chair.

His mom closed the door and left the room.

"Robert how are things going on over there?" his father asked in a serious tone.

"Yeah here all good dad. So far everything is going according to the plan"

"That's what I'm worried of. It has been months but why he haven't make any moves yet?"

"Exactly dad! That's what I'm worried about too. There is no way he could sit still watching his own destruction. If I'm not mistaken, he will contact the guy soon"

"What? The guy???!! Are you sure?"

"I'm not sure dad. But I'm working on it"

"Hmmm.. okay, listen if you need any help don't hesitate to ask me. Understand?"

"Haha of course dad. Even without me asking, you will help me. I know that you are watching over me from behind" he smiled.

His father blushed.

"Ahemm.... It's too late, better you go and sleep first. If no your mom won't serve me the lunch" "Hahahha okay dad. Good morning"

"Okay good night" he said with a smile and was about to cancel the call.

"Dad..."

His father paused and looked at him.

"Hmm?"

"I love you. I love you both. Please be safe" said Robert in a gentle voice.

After a few seconds

"I love you too" he said softly and gave him a warm smile.

"Did you just said 'I Love You' to your sonnn??!!" his wife popped out from behind.

Robert's father got startled and embarrassed.

"I didn't say it. His puppy eyes made me to (he turned at Robert) Robert I'm going to kill you!"

"Sorry dad. I'm going. Byeee" he said and hang up the webcam while his father was screaming on the other side.

Robert closed his laptop and went to his bed with a relaxed mind and smile on his face. He missed them both a lot. They are his life. They never treated him as their adopted son. They devoted their life for him and he wants to become stronger to protect and keep them happy all the time. Suddenly a message popped on his phone.

"Good night. Don't stress yourself too much and sleep early"

Looking at the message, he smiled more broadly. Now, he got more than one reason to survive. He must get way stronger to protect all three of them.

"If you are with me, I will sleep even more early (¬‿¬). Wait for me a little bit more, I'll come and get you out from there"

Flora starts to smile looking at his message. She knows he never gets tired from using this cheesy lines. She closed her eyes peacefully thinking of the day he will bring her away with him.

-After few days-

"Sir, successfully we have arranged an appointment with him. It's the day after tomorrow"

"Great it's time for some action" said Steve confidently.

It's a private place. The house looked like a mansion. Steve and his secretary opened their mouth in awe.

"Never know he have changed this much in these 21 years" said Steve.

They entered the house after several security inspections. They were asked to be seated in a room.

After few minutes, he entered. He is non-other than the current under world leader for RG49 gang, Mathew. It's the gang that have more than 40% control in that country. This gang have third place in the underworld unity. No one dares to mess with him as he got connection from all over the world including some high ranked people from the government. If you are going to ask for his help, make sure to payback for what he asks for. If no, that will be the end of your day.

"What a surprise Steve. Have it been 20 years since we last saw?"

Steve bowed at him and took his seat.

"It's been 21 years Master"

"Hmmm 21 years.... Time really flies fast. So, what are you doing here? What you want from me this time? Whom do you want me to kill?"

Steve's secretary passed him Robert's photo. Steve starts to describe about him. "His name is Robert. America citizen, currently doing his business over here. He is "

"Jason's son" said Mathew.

"How you know? You know him?" Steve asked anxiously.

"Look at his eyes. His eyes are just like Jason. How can you avoid these eyes? No matter your enemy lives or die, remember them until the day you die. You never know from which side they will come to attack you" he said calmly.

"He is receiving help from some powerful background. We cannot even find who his foster parents are..."

"So, you came to me realizing that you are no match for him?" he sneers at Steve.

Steve felt embarrassed and angry, but he can't show any of the expressions in front him.

"What you have for me?" asked Mathew.

"Master?"

"I knew you came here well prepared. Before I could ask something, you must be wanted to offer me first. Let's see your offer first and let me decide"

"Master if you finish him off, I will offer.... my daughter to you" he said it calmly.

His secretary got shocked and looked at him with wide opened eyes.

"Hahahhaha (Mathew laughed loudly) Seriously... I have never met such a bastard like you. Last time you just gave me your wife when I asked, now you are offering your daughter to me. But I like the offer. I'll accept it. It has been so long since I have tasted pure, young flesh"

Mathew's eyes become creepy like a wild animal's stare. His secretary goes blank and looked at his boss. Steve just smiled back at Mathew as a seal for the deal. They left the place.

"Sir, are you sure on what you did offer just now?" the secretary just couldn't take it.

"Gary why do you think I'm raising her well for years even when I don't like her? Of course it is to sell her off at a high price. See how useful she is now. She is worth the money that I spent on her all these years"

His secretary just kept quiet. He doesn't know what to reply. Until now he couldn't forgive himself for being an accomplice to sell out Steve's wife to Mathew. She committed suicide to release herself from Mathew's torture. That incident is already haunting him for all these years. He just doesn't know what to do now at the same time he knows he can't do anything. He drives the car quietly.

Robert's plan is to take back his father's company from Steve. After earning good reputations and money he moved on to his second step which is to conquer Steve's company share which was once his father's. He started to collaborate with the companies that have high percentage of shares in Steve's company.

Steve knew all this and just kept quiet. Robert somehow managed to buy shares in his company but the percentage is very low compare to Steve. Not only that, even if he manage to conquer higher percentage of share he needs all the board member's trust and agreement to elect him as the CEO. He knew he got to work hard to get all these. The pain of losing his parents for the past 21 years, he needs to do end it. He had not enough sleep and rest to make his plan success. Most of the time he will just sleep in his company.

On the other side, knowing that Robert is working hard, Steve started to worry.

"Gary did Mathew's assistant call and inform you about anything?" asked Steve to his secretary.

"No Sir, we haven't received any calls since we met them"

"Is he really planning out something or purposely delaying it?" he asked worriedly.

"Sir if he is delaying it, why don't we make the move first sir? If we really can get rid of him, we don't have to give away our young madam to Mathew" he said convincingly.

Steve turned and looked at him.

"Gary are you stupid? Why do you think I didn't touch Robert all this while? He is clearly creating a web to trap me. If I voluntarily got stuck, then no one can save me. That's why I leave this matter to Mathew. Robert is very smart and cunning, don't underestimate him"

"But sir, you have already planned to sell young madam. Why you wanted to give to Mathew. You can gain some other benefits to improve your company using her. Why don't for once you take action to eliminate him before Mathew finish him off" he tried to convince him to avoid selling off Flora.

Steve already cannot stand it anymore. He got no time to be patience as his company is slowly falling apart infront of him. Even Gary sounds insane, he decided to accept his decision. So that he can use Flora to rebuild the company after finishing off Robert.

"Gary what is your plan?"

Gary didn't expect he will accept his idea this fast.

"Sir from my analysis through these months, I noticed that everyone in Robert's company only act according to his orders. Our target is only that one head. If we really make him silent, all the problems will be solved. At the same time, it doesn't means that we have to kill him."

Steve looked at him and Gary just nodded with a vicious smile.

-Two days later-

It was a pretty long meeting Robert had that evening. It was almost 10pm when he finished them. He asked sorry to his staffs and let all of them to go back as it is too late already. He planned to stay back for some more works.

"Robert at least let me to stay beside you" said his assistant and also his friend, Ray.

"It's okay Ray. It has been days since you went back. If you didn't go back today, your wife will kill me. Hahaha so please go back. Pity sister, she misses you so much. Nah, I brought for her chicken soup stocks. Make sure to give her. She needs to be stronger to give birth to Junior Ray. Hahahah"

"Hahah yeah right. On the other side she is asking me to take care of you. You both really have good bonding behind me huh? Okay then boss. I will leave first. See you tomorrow at the office. Tomorrow we have to buy the John's company's share no matter what" said Ray.

"Yes we will" he replied enthusiastically.

Ray left the office. Robert drank a cup of coffee to make himself awake. He is already super tired, yet he tried to stay awake. He checked his phone and was quite disappointed that there were no messages from Flora. It has been few days since Flora texted him as her final exams going on.

"Flora I can't even be in peace when I don't see any messages from you. I can't believe I'm missing you this much. I wanted to call you and talk to you so badlyyy!!! How I wish you to be here now?" he smiled looking at her photo on the phone.

Suddenly he heard footstep sound. Someone else is in the company, other than him. He closed his phone and focus on where the sound came from. He walked towards the sound.

He hides behind the nearby wall. When the person came near him, he pulled his hand, turn him around and hold him around his neck.

"Aahhh it hurts hurts!!!" Flora screamed.

He got startled.

"Flora? What are you doing here? Wait how many times should I said don't come to see me at night time!? Do you know how dangerous it is?" he got angry.

"I thought you missed me, so I came right after my last paper" she said in a soft voice.

"Missed you? Why I " he remembers how he missed her so much.

"Robert? Robert?!" she waved her hands infront of him.

He came to his sense. He looked at her and hugged her tightly. Very tightly.

"Hey Robert what happened? Are you okay?" she asked worriedly.

"Nothing....I just missed you so badlyyy. You are here just as I wished for" he mumbled like a small kid.

She slowly reached out to his ear and twisted it.

"Aahh it's painful what are you doing? Let me go"

"If you miss me badly, then why did you scold me? Huh why?" she asked angrily and let him go.

"Sorry sorry...I was just worried. You are a girl, what if something happens, on the way to here? Then I can't forgive myself. How many times have I told you, if you wanted to come just call me, I will come and fetch you" he said while rubbing his painful ear.

She felt bad.

"Sorry I didn't mean to come alone. I just wanted to surprise you..... does it hurt badly? Sorry I didn't mean to" she said worriedly.

He looked at her guilty face.

She went closer to check on him. Suddenly he kissed her on the cheeks. She blushed. Her face becomes red.

"Robert!! That's so unfair" she said while covering her face in embarrassment.

"Why are you so embarrassed? It is not like this is the first time I'm kissing you. Ohh..is it because I didn't kiss you for a long time" he teased her.

"Keep quiet!! You are talking too much! I'm going inside!" she screamed and entered his room hurriedly.

He followed her with a broad smile. When he wanted to open his office door, he heard footsteps sound again. He opened the door and looked at Flora's shoe, she wore a covered shoe. He clearly heard burgundy shoe's sound. He realized someone else is in the company too. He quickly went inside and closed his room's door. Flora turned back and looked at his serious face.

"What happened Robert?"

He went near her.

"Flora I think someone else is in the company and I don't think that they are some good guys. So you be a good girl and wait for me here. I'll be back in a while" he said and smiled with a calm face.

"Robert! Are you going down alone? They might have gun with them, you can't"

"Flora (he hold her face in his hand) listen to me. I won't get hurt! Never! Cause I have you to take care of. Don't you believe in me? I have mastered in few martial arts haha. As my woman I want you to be not scared and be brave. Okay?" he said gently and gave her forehead kiss.

"Okay I will. But be careful" she said worriedly.

He nodded. He went out and closed the door.
