The next day of school Ivanie came down her Benz her hair tied in a knot, she wore her school navy blue coat which was aligned with knee-length blue skirts, and socks that were at ankle length although the rest of the girls preferred them with long stockings, she was fine with it reaching the ankle.

*Oh look it Ivanie*

*She seemed pissed off*

*It's still early who could have gotten her annoyed*

Ivanie made her way to class without answering greetings from the junior, she had her bag on her back and a cup of warm coffee, she had refused breakfast as she couldn't bear to sit at the same table with her dad in order not to cause another early morning drama.

"Ivanie"

Britney Ivanie's close friend called as soon as she was in, Britney noticed the look on her face.

"Hey, down to earth to Ivanie" Ivanie's eyes rolled as she took her seat.

"Am on earth Britney no need to bring me down" Ivanie told her.

"What are you thinking?" Britney asked her childhood best friend if they were simply inseparable.

"Nothing" Ivanie replied.

"Once you are ready, then you can tell me what's wrong" Britney said not pushing it.

A murmur arose in the class as the student began making way for who was coming in, Knowing who it was and what it was about, Ivanie sipped her coffee with a smirk.

"Ivanie!!!" The high-pitched female voice called as she walked in with her two underlings.

"Jeez calm down Jessica have you joined the school choir you seem to be improving with your automatic loud voice not in a good way though," Britney said taunting the lady.

"Shut up Britney, am not talking to you, Ivanie what going on between you and Jace?" Jessica said her blonde hair which was done seemed to be angry with her as it flew about the place as she moved.

The class kept quiet staring between Ivanie and Jessica with Ivanie calmly seated and having her coffee not minding the annoyed Jessica.

"Am talking to you" Jessica called out, after Ivanie was satisfied with her coffee she then turned to face Jessica.

"What did you say?, sorry I put all my being into enjoying my coffee I don't like interruptions while feasting on something sweet it spoils my mood," Ivanie told her.

"You little .......... Jessica breathe in and out trying to control herself before speaking again ".

"I said what going on between you and Jace?"

"Jace?" Ivanie shrug.

"Nothing just two casual teen dating" Came Ivanie reply.

"What ........WHAT....you are dating Jace, how dare you little witch, Jace he's mine" Jessica became frantic as she raised her hand to pull at Ivanie's hair but she was yanked back instead by another who had just walked into the scene.

Jessica turned to see she was being held back by Malachi Jace's friend, he gave her a little smile before asking.

"What's that pretty girl" Malachi tilted his head trying to see Jessica's face clearly.

Jace walked into the scene his mood sour, he got close to Ivanie and cupped her cheek.

"Are you hurt, baby?" Jace said not sparing a look at Jessica whose eyes were wide, the class cooed looking at the two trending couples in school.

Britney had a lopsided smile on her face looking anywhere else but Ivanie and Jace.

Jessica ran out of the class her nose runny, she wanted Jace but he had his eyes on Ivanie.

"Are you sure you aren't hurt?" Jace asked again worried Jessica might have done something.

"Am fine" Ivanie grinned, she pulled Jace to sit with her as the class was about to begin

Looking at the ticking clock continuously, Ivanie sighs for the fifth time.

It was a long torturing weekend and she was stuck at home with her family.

Her dad was busy making preparations for his coming guest.

"Am I needed here", seated on her bed Ivanie turned to look at her mom who insisted she stay.

"You know how your father is, he would make things difficult for you if you disobey his orders, you should be a good girl this time Ivanie"

"Fine Mom" Ivanie replied.

Mrs shanks caresses her daughter's hair before turning to leave the room.

Ivanie watched her mother leave after the door shut closed.

Ivanie flung off her duvet which had been used in wrapping herself up earlier.

She was fully dressed down to her foot, she let out a dimpled smile making the bed and grabbing her bag.

Ivanie opened her window and swung out climbing the pole down to the first floor before using the back gate to escape the security at the main gate.

"Ivanie"

A Benz pulled to a stop In front of her, Ivanie laughed seeing her rebellious set of friends.

Britney and Malachi at the back seat while Jace was the driver.

She was quick to take her seat in the front seat close to Jace.

"Ready babe?" Jace asked.

"Born ready" came Ivanie's reply and they drove off to have fun.

The flight landed and after a few minutes Vladimir walked out of the airport to a car awaiting him outside.

He adjusted his button before getting in.

James was quick to give him updates.

"Mr peter has sent his deal details I have outlined the necessity you just need to read them and send your approval."

Vladimir has his legs crossed and his arms folded while he closes his eyes.

A message popped up on James phone and the male was almost biting his lips.

"Um........ It's your mother sir Vladimir......" James said to him.

Vladimir's eyes snapped open and he was quick to collect the phone from James and soon enough a call came in.

Vladimir picked up on the second ring and his mom's loud voice came through he pulled it away from his ear immediately.

"And why have you been ignoring my calls" Mrs Markin asked.

"I haven't " Vladimir replied.

His dark eyes looked straight ahead at the road, his thin lips in a thick frown.

"Anyway, what's taking you so long get here soon your grandpa and I will be visiting the girl's family I will message you the location and drive straight there." His mother said before the line went off.

Vladimir glared at James who tried looking away but couldn't, he offered Vladimir a sorry smile.

"I promise I had it on flight mode the entire time, I needed to send you the mail so I had it turned on" James tried defending himself.

The driver looked at the rearview mirror and took an appropriate turn.

The set of four duos were in the park and we were waiting in line to catch the next ride on the devil's wheel.

As soon as the the people on it exited the ride they climbed in next.

"Hold on tight, " Malachi said and the next moment they were all screaming.

Moments later Ivanie went with Jace to get drinks for themselves and the rest.

"Two cups of Strawberries a cup of chocolate and a cup of mango flavor" Jace ordered.

He is standing with Ivanie on the other side of the park across the road.

"Am having so much fun, I can't remember the last time I had this much fun" Ivanie said to Jace.

"Are there problems back at home?" Jace asked noticing how Ivanie was sighing the entire time.

"What could be so problematic, am just simply happy being out with you and the guys today," Ivanie told him.

Jace nodded he checked his pocket for his card to pay for their order but he simply couldn't find it.

"What?" Ivanie asked seeing the annoyed look on his face.

"I think I left my wallet with Malachi earlier," Jace said.

He handed the crate of the ice cream to Ivanie.

"I would be back," he said before leaving.

Ivanie sighed once more and took her seat on the bench.

From the corner of her eyes, she saw a black car with a tinted windows pull to a stop.

The car pulled to a stop and James turned to look at Vladimir.

"Get me a bottle of water," Vladimir told James whose brow came knitted together.

"You don't drink just any water why would you demand I get you some when we have many stock in the car?

James looked down at the seat he was sitting on but suddenly he remembered they were no longer back in the States and there was no water in the car.

" Right, water"

Vladimir's brow was already raised at him. James stepped out of the car and approached the shop on the opposite side.

Vladimir looked out the window to see an ice cream shop where they were parked.

His eyes scheme through the teens who were busy enjoying their ice cream.

"Kids consuming too many sweet things" Vladimir murmured.

He noticed one of them in a pink shirt and blue jeans with a blue ribbon at the top of her head.

As she got closer to the car She suddenly missed her footing and lost balance everything in her hands going up, Ivanie stumbled forward and she collided with the car.

The phone she held made a crack in the window.

Vladimir frowns looking at the little crack and a very messy window filled with spilled ice cream.

Ivanie wince as she regained her balance looking at the mess she made.

"Oh no no, what am I going to do about the mess and a crack!! oh God if am pinned down for this, it would surely reach dad ears I can't afford it.

Ivanie got close to the window and placed her hand on it trying to peek in the car, she stretched and turned to see if it was possible to escape the situation.

As she was doing so the windshield rolled down and Ivanie came eye to eye with a very striking man.

He wasn't just good-looking he was hotter than the sun and merely looking at his burns.

"Hi ........." Ivanie waved awkwardly as she was standing in a very weird and uncomfortable position.

Vladimir's face seemed to not be joking rather he was looking way too serious that Ivanie thought of melting into the ground.

"Damaging one's property, how are you compensating for this," Vladimir asked the young lady in front of him.

Ivanie gulped and opened her mouth to reply but nothing came out.

"Umm......... sir how could you say such a thing to an underage underage'm barely having fun I didn't mean to cause any harm.

"Right, you don't seem to feel sorry for what you have done," Vladimir said.

"Sorry??? Why should I after all it's your car on the way, not mine, you should just let it go I will forgive your silliness today next time you should not park just anywhere." Ivanie told him.

Vladimir was chuckling for the next few seconds, he had his eyes fixed on the female in front of him.

"Dear you shouldn't go around offending just anybody, you should apologize for the damages and I would let things go," Vlad told her.

"Don't address me as dear I am no child, am old enough to recognize such a cutie like you"

She stretched her hand into the car and took Vladimir's jaw in her finger.

"Perfect aren't you now, but why are you all serious you should loosen some muscles and smile some more," Ivanie told Vlad whose jaw thickened.

The driver coughed at the girl's boldness nobody dared try such with Vladimir.

James who was approaching the car saw the current situation and the bottle in his hands almost dropped seeing as Ivanie had her finger pinching Vladimir's jaw.

In the next seconds Vladimir was letting out a smirk amazed at the girl's boldness.....................

Vladimir took her hand away from his face and held it in his palm keeping her restrained.

James took it as a cue to step back, Ivanie eyes widen as she noticed she was unable to pull away, she look at the man and saw he had move his face closer to the windshield.

"Tell me do you know who you are messing with right now?" Vladimir asked.

Ivanie struggle to pull away, she was doing so while smiling awkwardly.

All she wanted to happen was to avoid the situation, but seems the man was serious with his crack window.

"Alright fine am sorry happy now can you let go of my finger........."

"Ivanie??"

Ivanie pulled away and rushed off hearing her name and knowing who it was.

Vladimir watch her go a little smile playing on his lips, James looked Vladimir weirdly getting into the car.

He handed Him the bottle of water as Vladimir pulled the windshield back up.

"You knew who she was don't you?" James asked trying to know if Vladimir could still recall.

"Drive"

Vladimir told the driver noticing the curious look on James face.

Ivanie walk up to Jace adjusting her hair and looking sorry but she didn't show much of it.

"Let place another order the last one is wasted" Ivanie told him not sparing him the chance to ask what she was doing close to the car that has just drove out.

"Are you okay?" Jace asked and she nodded.

Both went to get another order, Jace placed the order again and pay for both before the two make their way back into the fun park.

Cars drove into the shanks mansion, Mr shank peek out the window from his room to see it was his guest who has just arrived.

"Hurry Mary go and see to every thing is all set up make sure nothing is missing after that make sure to bring Ivanie down but make sure she isn't wearing anything inappropriate". Mr shank told his wife, she nodded vigorously and went out the room.

As Mrs shanks was making her way out the kitchen she was met with Anthena Markin who grace her with her presence.

"Oh Mary how are you" Mrs Markin hugged the woman.

Mrs shanks smiled pulling away to greet her friend.

" Am fine, It been a while Anthena I haven't seen you for like forever," Mrs shanks said to her friend who laughed.

"Hello Mary how are you dear?" The old man of Markin household called, He shook Mrs shanks hand politely and both exchange greetings.

"Ohhh Rodolfo my man look at you" Old man Markin called seeing Mr Shanks come down the stairs.

"A pleasant evening old sir how are you," Mr Shanks greeted politely.

"Am very good, ah ah very energetic"

"I don't see Vladimir, where's he?" Mrs Shanks asked Mrs Markin who smiled it off.

"He's on his way, he just arrived from the state and his on his way here.

"Oh that good, Mr Shanks gave his wife signs for her to go get Ivanie and she nodded. Excuse let me bring Ivanie down" Mrs Shanks told Mrs Markin and the old sir.

"Oh great I can't wait to meet her, seeing her pictures isn't enough to satisfy my curiosity" Mrs Markin joked and all laughed.

Another car drove into the shanks mansion, as the car was driving in Vladimir who was in it noticed a tiny figure climbing a pole at the other side of the mansion.

"Would you look at that" Vlad said underneath his breath he whined down his windshield to get a better look at the rebellious lady who finally exited into her room and shut the slide she had kept opened close.

James look out to see what was so entertaining that got Vlad smiling.

Vlad doesn't smile he was always on the edge and getting on his nerves was like petting a leopard, the dude mood changes like a chameleon.

Vladimir finally got down his car and loosen his first two button of his shirt, he took off his coat and handed it to James. Vlad pleases no one, he was a man of vigour.

James got back into the car and the driver drove them back away.

Ivanie quickly pulled off her jeans and took off her shirt in a rush, she bounce on the bed and was quick to wrap her self up pulling her ribbon off in process The door to her room shrug up and she stilled.

Mrs shanks came in to see her daughter still not off her bed.

"Ivanie!! What are you still doing in bed get up, your dad will be furious if he sees this"

Ivanie faked a yawn and sat up her bed rubbing her eyes in process, her mother shook her head.

"Get your lazy self off the bed and go freshen up the visitors are here".

"Mom I don't want to go, I know it about the marriage thing"

"Don't start this now Ivanie get ready first and meet this people, you might end up liking him"

"No young girl likes a older man, mom how can I be happy getting engaged at a young age, you are depriving me of my youth", Ivanie told her mom.

Mrs shanks sigh and pull Ivanie up.

"Go and take your bath, I will choose your clothes for you be fast", Mrs shanks said pushing her daughter to the bathroom.

Ivanie was all dressed up in a blue flora gown, her hair let down and properly brushed.

She walk down the stairs trailing behind her mom reluctantly, finally getting to the last flight of stairs Ivanie looked down at the people who were seated in the fore room exchanging word's.

Soon her eyes landed on the male who sat separately from the rest and she froze.

He had his eyes fixated on her, she wish the floor would open and swallow her, her world was falling apart. and she exit the last flight of stairs and lost her balance as if fore seeing this, Vlad was quick to catch hold of her.

She stare into his deep dark eyes scared. 'was he there to tell on her was he going to throw her, under the bus, was it a clue to finally get married off to who ever her father wants because he is going to skin her alive if he finds out she had stepped out the house earlier without anyone's permission.

"They are a perfect match" Mrs Markin said fondly looking at the two.

Ivanie ears picked that up and she quickly disengage from Vlad.

"What?"

She said shocked.

"He's the man am getting married to?" Ivanie asked facing her parents, Mrs Markin thought Ivanie was curious and decided to answer the lads

question.

"He is, that my son Vladimir Markin"

Ivanie cleared her eyes her brow knitting together again.

"He's the Vladimir??" She whispered to Mrs Markin who found her behavior cute, but within Ivanie she knew she was done for.

He will definitely rat her out, she began laughing awkwardly and scared while turning to look at Vlad wearily.

"Oh dinner is ready we should all go fill our stomach" Mr Shanks said leading them all to the dining.

Ivanie walk behind Vlad looking at his broad back pleading desperately in her mind.

Vlad had a victorious smirk on.

'who would be begging now'

They all sat round the table with Ivanie facing Vlad who didn't eat much, Ivanie had her face down avoiding Vlad who had all his attention on her, it was like he was taunting her for her mistake.

"You have raise such a beautiful daughter Mary, she look just like you" Mrs Anthena compliment.

"Oh please she's nothing like me, she just her own person, you know how kid nowadays are." Mrs shanks replied.

"Even my son doesn't pay much attention to me he's all about work" Mrs Anthena told them.

"That is how a man should be very stable with his life, women at times can be very whinny" Mr Shanks replied.

"Am sure our dearest Ivanie isn't like the rest, she shines in her own way" The old man said .

Ivanie faked a smile nodding at the old man, all she wanted was to escape back to her room, the food she was eating wasn't going down well.

"So Vlad dear how was your journey hope it wasn't so stressful?" Mrs Shanks said trying to start a conversation with Vlad.

Vlad smiled dropping his cutlery.

"It was peaceful until I encountered someone on the way " Vlad said.

Ivanie antenna went up her head snap up to look at Vlad who was no longer looking at her, she was panicking.

' Was he going to tell them?'

She noticed everyone attention was on him, Ivanie didn't know what to do but to listen to him continue.

"A youngsters was clumsy enough to ruin my car by leaving a crack and pouring the content in her hand on it, she left without apologizing properly" Vlad told them.

"Oh that bad" Mrs shanks said.

"That very rude of her"old sir said.

" Did you collect her parents contact, or did you call the police she needs to be disciplined" Mrs Markin said.

Ivanie who had just raised a glass of water to her lips choked on it immediately, she coughed her eyes watering.

"Oh dear careful"her mother said passing her tissue to wipe her lips.

"Easy take a deep breath" Mrs shanks said.

Vlad pass her orange juice since she choked on water.

"You should take it easy don't hurt yourself on silly things " Vlad told her.

She was glaring at him the next seconds her eyes red, she sniff back hiccupping.

Ivanie excused herself from the table and went up to clean her self up.

Mrs Markin signaled Vlad to follow her. Vlad got up the table excusing himself also.

Ivanie almost ran to her room in frustration, the dude was messing with her big time.

As soon as she shrug her room doop open it was close back immediately by Vlad.

"Goodness" Ivanie exclaimed looking up at him.

She is no where close to his height he's ridiculously tall and she has to look all the way up to see the expression on his face.

"Is the heavens in my favour for bringing me all the way to your door step" Vlad said to her.

"Of course they are against me" Ivanie muttered under her breathe.

"You owe me something" Vlad said calmly.

"Um......." Ivanie stammer biting her lips.

"You are still young try learning good moral" Vlad said to her seeing her struggle with her words.

Ivanie glare up at him looking all pissed like an annoyed cat, her nose flushed her ears red.

He really was ruthless, he his willing to bend her to make her straight, was she really going to marry such man who don't take offense lightly and holds grudge.

"Sorry......." Ivanie muttered out low.

"What was that??" Vlad said.

"Sorry!!!" Ivanie screamed to his ears she quickly opened the door rushing into her room.

Vlad smiled the next minute she was in.

'That how it should be, tamed' he thought.
