My Inner Ability System

Hi.

My name is Obed. But you can call me "Ob" for short. I grew up in Detroit and then moved to Texas were I'm staying for now. Earth had a war against aliens and Earth was defeated. Because of this, my parents were part of the war and eventually died. Now it's our duty to fight for Earth, protect Earth and defeat those aliens. Let's rewind backwards to how I had my inner Ability System.

Well, I went to school in Nevada elementary. I was being bullied by my classmates. While in school, I often visited the library to check out new novels or comics to read. Reading was like my food and I can't do anything without reading. Let's continue shall we. As I was glancing through all the books, I found a book which was old like in the 18's hundreds. But before I had to open the book, there was an inscription on it saying "Ye who gets this book gets everything."

Obed's mind went spinning as he read the inscription over and over again. He didn't understand what the inscription meant. Because of this, he decided to take the book home to get an info about the book. He decided not to show it to the librarian nor his friends. It was getting dark and Obed had to dash to his apartment so that he can get time for the book. Just as he reached his apartment and closed the door, he heard strange noises coming from somewhere but couldn't get where they were coming from.

Soon, the noise started to shout louder causing Obed to be afraid. Obed searched his apartment and outside to see if he would find were the noise was coming from but no avail. Finally, he remembered about the book he was carrying in his bag pack.

As he opened his bag pack he heard the strange noise again and this time, from his bag pack. First he was afraid and this time took no chance. He begun to unpack all the things out of the bag except the mystery book. Soon the noise died down and started. That's was when Obed realized that the noise was coming from the book he took in the library today. As he removed the book from the bag, the book started to talk and said, at last you have released me. Obed was shocked to see a book talking and also replied, I don't know what you are talking about book.

The book laughed out loud even his next door neighbor could hear it. Keep it down Obed, says a girl next door. Sorry, says Obed. The book gives Obed his name as the system and that he has the ability to control people's behavior, thinking, and what you can think of. Suddenly Obed had an idea and tried to test the system to see if it's indeed telling the truth. Obed then asked the system, system, what I'm I thinking if at this moment? The system then laughed at Obed and said, you are really funny. You are thinking about your parents and how you wish they were hear. Indeed, the system was right. Obed was indeed thinking about his parents and how he wished they were at his presence. The system then opened the book and told Obed to read all the pages in it and after he is done he should born it(the system). Obed was shocked and asked the system, why should I burn you. I don't burn books. But the system replied, if you burn me, I'll be inside you and no one will know that. After the system had said that, Obed then took the book and read it to the last page. He even memorized every part of the book. After he finished reading he burnt the book and suddenly, the room became pitch black and Obed could see the system's soul coming out of the book and enters into Obed's body. After this, the room was returned to it's normal state and Obed fell to the ground.

Obed had been on the ground for 30 minutes after the book soul entered his body. After a few minutes, Obed rose up to his feet and begun to talk to himself, What the hell happened? After saying that to himself, the system which was now in Obed's body begun to speak to him. I'm in you now, said the system. Now for your first achievement

Obed was shocked to see his system telling him about this achievement. After a while, the system also told Obed that he had a new ability.

Ability, said Obed. What kind of ability do I have then. Just as Obed finished his sentence, his whole body started to melt as if he was an ice cube which had been put in the sun. Obed started shouting to the system to ask him what is happening but the system didn't mind Obed. Two minutes later, Obed had melted and was now a liquid and could move under doors and also hid himself. Obed was shocked to see himself turn into a liquid and could move.

Five minutes later, Obed now transformed back to his human nature and then the system told him

New Ability Liquid Human Ability

Now for the fun part, Obed had to learn how to use the ability. The system showed Obed how to use the ability and when to use it. A grin on Obed's face started to appear because he couldn't wait to go back to school and use it on his bullies and classmates.

It was getting late and the system could see that Obed was tired. Eventually the system asked Obed to go bed because tomorrow will be a good day for him. Obed then smiled and went to his bedroom and jumped onto his bed and slept peacefully that night.

The cock crowed the next morning and the system woked Obed up with a message

Take two fried eggs and tea

Ps: don't take bread until I tell you to do so

Obed didn't understand why the system told him not to take bread because Obed cannot have tea without taking in bread. Obed did as the system said and took the tea with two fried eggs. Obed checked the time and it was past six. Obed knew he was getting late for school. Rushed to the school the before one minute early before the school gate had to be closed. When Obed entered the class, he sat at his sitting position which was infront. Obed was the shortest in his class and that was the reason why bullies always worry him. Today, Obed had a free period because the teachers had a meeting with the principal. Obed still had a lot of questions to ask his system. As soon as he was about to ask, his friend Joyce came over to see him. Joyce liked Obed because he was brilliant and hardworking but she could not express her feelings for Obed.

Joyce asked Obed about how his stay in his apartment is.

Obed also liked Joyce a lot because she was that type that would always ask him for a helping hand. After a short talk, the siren in the school had alerted the students that it's time for break. Obed and Joyce got out of class and headed straight to his favourite snack i.e ice cream. As soon as Obed bought the ice cream, he gave some to Joyce. As they were walking away, a white Mercedes van came to cross their path and two young people with white shirts and trousers came to grab Obed by his shirt and Joyce by her hand. They placed them in the van and sped off to their destination.
