My Husband is an Emperor

The Emperor and I married, because of my ability to heal. I can heal people who feel pain, and even the poison that is often used as a trap by the enemy can be treated. Just by smelling I can identify the right medicine that can remove the poison. One reason why the Emperor chose me to marry was because of his secret illness that occasionally attacked him. It was a few years ago when it got a mark on the body. A mark that came from his family's struggle. A mark connected to his heart that at any time the poison implanted in it would attack him.

I am Empress Yeng Do, wife of Emperor Rhizhi Do. During the days when the Emperor and I were together, nothing happened to us. This is because I want to wait until I am ready for everything before we merge and give my womanhood. We are with the Emperor who has no love origin. But I just discovered myself that one day I was jealous and sulking every time my husband talked to another woman. Who wouldn't fall in love with the Emperor's handsomeness? There was only one reason why he married me, that was because I was the answer to his illness. That's why sometimes, I get drunk and go with my male friend outside the palace. Because of my jealousy of the woman who was getting along with the Emperor, I went out of the palace again to forget the problem for a while, my male friend and I drank wine. After I got drunk, he took me to the palace. I couldn't control myself because I was so drunk. I just saw that the Emperor was so angry that he greeted me at the door and grabbed my hand from my male friend. I sank into his chest at the same time the Emperor threatened my friend that he would never see his face again, but that he would kill him. My friend wasn't scared, instead he smiled because he saw the Emperor jealous for the first time. It carried me into the palace and dropped me after we got inside.

There he confronted me about why I got drunk and why I was with a man. But I was even more angry with him because he was still able to ask after he had sex with another woman. I hit him in the chest and screamed so that the whole palace was disturbed, causing the servants and his brother to come out who were supposed to be resting. It stopped the two of us from arguing. Among those who witnessed it was the woman I was so jealous of. I looked at him with glazed eyes but he just raised an eyebrow at me. Because of what happened, the Emperor just shook his head and thought about turning around to enter our room. But before he walked, he ordered the waiters to give me medicine and wipe my body to wash me, before he turned his back and walked away. But I saw the girl I was very jealous of followed him, maybe she would sympathize because of the argument that happened between us. I did not allow it to follow the dear Emperor, I chased the woman and I bent her shoulder causing her to stop walking.

"He's mine!" I shout here,

The Emperor turned to us so I ran towards him again. He was surprised by what I did so he didn't move when I suddenly fell in front of him and pressed him with a kiss on the lips. Everyone witnessed what I did, so they were surprised and others were even shocked by what I did. While the Emperor was wide-eyed, he just stood there, motionless in the scene I created. After that kiss I went down and hugged him, saying...

"I want a baby... come let's make a baby!" I said pulling him into our room.

I even heard them shouting as if celebrating what I said.

Arriving in the room, I pushed the Emperor on our bed. But he stopped me because I had been drinking and maybe I didn't know what I was doing. But I didn't agree, I undressed right in front of him and he saw my whole body. The Emperor drooled, especially when I stepped on it, it was unable to move. When I was on top of it, I couldn't move, I felt dizzy and pulled my eyes sleepily. But I said one last word before I fell asleep.

"I don't want you to get along with other girls! Especially with Chin!" I whisper here,

"Why? Why are you acting like that?" it asked me,

"Because... because..." I couldn't follow that word because I fell asleep.

The next day I remember everything that happened to us last night. I was so ashamed of the Emperor that's why I secretly ran away and left the palace. I met my boy friend again. We were eating outside at that time when suddenly people around us started cheering. And I was surprised to see that the Emperor came out of the palace just to look for me. The soldiers were with it, which is why it immediately attracted the attention of the citizens who were there.

The soldiers immediately pointed their swords at my male friend so I suddenly stood up and stopped them.

But the Emperor spoke angrily, and his tone seemed to threaten the man.

"Didn't I tell you that I don't want to see your face anymore?" the Emperor's voice said firmly.

My friend grinned before speaking. "You were the one who left the palace, so it's not my fault why you saw me again. Why? What is your problem with me and you seem to feel angry?" my friend asked the Emperor.

The Emperor was speechless, but he looked at me. He seemed ashamed to admit the reason why he came out of the palace just to look for me.

"You have no right to question me!" An authoritative word of the Emperor caused his soldiers to hurt my friend. So, fearing that my friend might be killed, I confronted the Emperor.

"What's your problem, huh? Why are you here?" I asked him angrily,

"You're asking why I'm here? Do you see what you're doing? I'm your wife but you're here with that blasphemer?" he said while turning to my friend who had a wound on his shoulder.

"Huh? W-what are you saying? Are you jealous?" I stammered to him, but instead of answering my question, he said something else. "Go home now!" after saying that he walked away in front of me, so his soldiers followed and left the place.

After I treated my friend, I immediately returned to the palace. And it looks like the Emperor is angry again because I took so long to come home. He looked at me badly so I went ahead of him angrily.

"You're the one who's going to be angry now, you hurt my friend and then you're the one who can act like that? What's your problem, huh?" I even pointed at him because of the anger I felt for what he did.

Instead of responding, he grabbed my hand and suddenly pulled me closer to him. I was just that surprised when he suddenly kissed me on the lips. I didn't move, but I was still stunned and I slowly lowered my hand that had been pointed at him just now.

After the Emperor's kiss, I stammered.

"W-what's that for?"

"You're drunk, you're still numb!" It turned away and left me alone. I clung to my lips and felt the Emperor's kiss again. I suddenly smiled, and jumped for joy.

While sitting on the long chair I was still stunned and repeatedly remembered the Emperor's kiss. I didn't know that it feels so good to be kissed by the person your heart beats for. Whatever the Emperor's reason was, he still wasn't sure that he was in love with me either so he did that.

Later someone seat next to me. This is my servant friend in the palace. It informed that Princess Ching was planning something against me. He heard him talking to his followers. Princess Ching is the daughter of the Queen Mother's friend. It was promised that their children would be married when the time came but it did not happen because the Emperor chose the woman he would marry. The Queen Mother is kind, as a matter of fact she is not opposed to me becoming her son's wife. He has a brother, and this is Prince Ryhm who has a crush on my servant.

When I heard that news, I immediately thought about what it could do to me. And I'm ready for whatever it takes.

One morning, the Queen Mother was surprised by bad news. The townspeople knock on the palace because of the spreading epidemic. People are getting sick one after the other and they are also dying one after the other. Because everyone knows that I come from a family of physicians, they are asking for a cure for the people of the town who have serious illnesses. They say that no other doctor can heal people, so I am their only hope.

"The Emperor's wife cannot take medicine outside the palace! She is a princess, and not a country doctor!" The Queen Mother strongly refused, but because of my pity for the people who were dying, I approached the Queen and begged to be allowed to help the people.

"No way, Empress Yeng. They will practice that they will always bother you. Because they don't clean the surroundings, so anything lands on their pain. I will just give them another doctor from another town. You cannot go there."

At that time I did not complain about the Queen Mother's decision. So I went back to my room and cried and cried there.

The Emperor entered our room and saw me crying. That's why he was so worried.

"I will come with you and you will not leave me when we are outside the palace." I was surprised by what the Emperor said. I? He wants to be with? Why did he think that was the condition?

That night we both went out of the Emperor's palace, in order not to recognize him he changed his clothes. Just a natural dress that the soldiers wouldn't recognize him. There are many dangers lurking outside the palace, but the Emperor will not allow me to leave the palace alone. Whatever happens, I have prepared many medicines for His Majesty's protection.

While riding the horse, I could feel the elegant physique of the Emperor. It was just behind me, watching our way. It was dark in the area, so the Emperor needed focus so that he could hear everything around him. And he knows if there is danger coming.

"Your majesty, you might be harmed by leaving the palace. You don't have a soldier with you," I said to him so he lost his focus on what he was doing for a moment.

"There is no safe place for me, everything has an imminent danger. I won't let you go out alone," he replied seriously, I was shocked again by what the Emperor said.

"Your majesty, your life is more important than mine."

"But you are the reason why I'm alive now, don't make any noise and maybe someone will hear us," he said, focusing his hearing around again.

I smiled all the time, all I had to do was jump on the horse and run because of what the Emperor said.

We continued our journey to the village of sick people. We got there safely, but I felt very sorry for the children whose bodies were full of wounds from the poison that was spreading.

"Your Highness, we can't believe you're coming. What you did was very dangerous, so we are very grateful and you accepted our request," said the old man in charge of the treatment that was taking place.

The Emperor just nodded his head, which made me smile because that was another honor as a good ruler.

"I will start the treatment. Bring me someone who is sick and I will find out what disease has landed on them," I ordered and they immediately obeyed.

Because of my wish not to let others know that we were there, my treatment was a secret. It's easy to do that because once I identify a person's illness, everyone who feels sick can drink it. Because it might be known in the palace immediately that the Emperor and I ran away, the Queen Mother would definitely be upset because of our disobeying the order.

They brought a young woman to me, I observed her appearance. Its complexion is deliberately damaged due to wounds that have accumulated in different parts of the body. I held the young woman's hand for a moment, and observed her eyes and tongue. Before being injected with a device that shows me how bad this disease is. I watched the blood smeared on the sharp needle.

It is an insect-borne disease. These insects carry poison, which is why diseases are transmitted because of the air inhaled by the sick person. I took out a piece of paper, and gave it to their leader.

"Here are the things needed for you to create medicine that you will inject into the sick. Burn dry leaves in the afternoon to repel disease-carrying insects. I'm sure they have an oration, that's why it quickly kills people who are afflicted with the disease."

"Mother, there is nothing wrong with Empress Yeng helping the townspeople. They are the ones who work outside the palace, so that our town can develop. It's only right that we give them help," explained Emperor Rhizhi,

"Can the townspeople restore your life, if something bad happened to you? What a blasphemy you two have committed! You have no respect for me!" The Queen Mother turned away in annoyance, leaving us feeling angry, so I was very worried.

I looked at Princess Chin who was still smiling. But his majesty did not see it because he was looking at someone else.

You are really the plague in my life. You thought you could snatch the Emperor by what you were doing. In my annoyance I hugged the Emperor, and remembered crying because of the anger shown by the Queen Mother.

"It's all my fault, Your Majesty. Forgive me if the Queen Mother got angry," I said to the Emperor, crying.

The Emperor responded with a hug, caressing my hair before speaking.

"It's not your fault, only later will the Queen Mother forget what happened."

I glanced at Princess Chin, I saw her frowning in irritation and staring at us evilly. I even licked it after seeing it growl in anger. So it suddenly turned around and left in front of us.

I laughed and let go of Emperor Rhizhi, who looked at me in surprise.

"Are you really crying or laughing?" it asked me,

The next day, a soldier ran panting to our room.

The Emperor and I left, but I remained bent. I don't know what to say after I disobeyed his order.

He stared at me seriously, making me even more tense.

"A... so-sorry Your Majesty, I just want to know if you're okay, I'm just worried because-" I couldn't continue what I was going to say, I couldn't say what I really felt to the Emperor.

It came closer to me, which is why I backed up until I was against the wall. I turned while the majesty was staring at my face.

"What did you say? Are you worried that you disobeyed the order?" The Emperor was about to touch my shoulder, but I avoided it.

"So sorry for the inconvenience, Your Majesty. I'm going out!" I quickly ran and left it behind. When I got outside I could hardly breathe properly. The next day, I left the palace to start looking for a cure for the majesty again, I went to my male friend to ask for help in finding a flower that I needed.

I turned around and laughed at what he said.

Even though I was surprised by Xijie's behavior, I just ignored it. After I got the plant I needed I went back to the palace. But I saw Princess Ching who had just come from the food factory, so I went in there and told the servants what Princess Ching was doing there.

"Your Highness." The servants went together.

"What are you making for dinner for the dear Emperor?" I asked them,

"Your Majesty, we are not the ones who make the meals for the dear Emperor. It's Princess Ching," he said, I immediately felt disgusted. He is actually fulfilling my duties to the Emperor. I glanced at the table, and saw there what Princess Ching had just brought. That's what the Emperor ate, so I came closer and immediately looked at the remaining soup contents of the cup. Later the black smoke evaporated from outside so I suddenly backed away.

"Your Majesty, what happened?" the waiter asked me worriedly, because I suddenly turned pale and stunned.
