"Oh my!"
Dinda was stunned as she covered her mouth with one hand, seeing a small flat object that showed two red lines on her hand. The woman was so shocked that she could not utter a single word from her mouth.
Slowly, her eyes glazed over as if she could no longer contain it.
"I-I'm... pregnant???"
Yes! At first she really did not expect that the symptoms she had been experiencing lately were not ordinary symptoms. The dizziness and fatigue that had been attacking her was a sign that something was sitting inside her stomach.
Dinda was silent for a moment, then looked at herself in the bathroom mirror.
"Am I pregnant with your child, Kevin?"
The woman was silent for a long time, remembering all the sweet things she did with her boyfriend. Yes! So sweet that she forgot herself and got carried away in the river of romance that made her what she is today.
Dinda couldn't do this on her own, she couldn't keep quiet until it was too late. Then with one motion she stood up straight and faced the mirror again.
"I have to tell Kevin! He has to know that I'm pregnant with his child."
Knock...knock...knock!
The sound of the door knocking was heard all the way into the bathroom, startling her and even breaking her reverie. Dinda quickly blinked her eyes and tried to control herself, not forgetting to wipe away the puddle of tears that was about to fall.
"Dinda? Are you awake? It's already noon, Honey. You're not going to work?"
There was a baritone voice from behind the door, a voice that could make Dinda feel sad and guilt suddenly appear.
"I-yeah, Papa! I'll be downstairs in a minute... I just finished taking a shower," she shouted from inside the bathroom.
"Okay, Papa wait downstairs! Let's have breakfast together."
Dinda fell silent again and took a deep breath, closing her eyes as she rested her hands on the sink in front of her.
"Relax, Dinda! You just have to tell Kevin to take responsibility and everything will be fine," she muttered confidently.

"Ah! It's been half an hour but Dinda hasn't come down yet, is she alright?" muttered Anggoro who had not stopped looking at the clock and alternately looked at the stairs of his house which still did not reveal the figure of his only daughter.
How could I not? This morning had been uncharacteristic, with Dinda always arriving at the dining room before him. Anggoro's anxiety continued to grow as he checked upstairs where his daughter's room was located.
"Her voice did sound a little hoarse earlier," he muttered again, wondering, "Should I check again?"
Before the middle-aged man could get up from his seat, his movements were abruptly halted as someone came down the stairs and greeted him.
"Morning, Papa! Sorry I overslept, so-"
"Are you okay?"
"Hmm?" Dinda furrowed her brow in surprise.
But Anggoro, with a slight stammer, asked again, "Papa is a little worried, are you not feeling well?"
"Ah! I'm fine, Pa. I just woke up late."
Anggoro remained silent as he continued to scrutinise his son's face, which looked slightly different.
"Are you sure? With your pale face?"
Dinda gasped! Had she forgotten to put on lipstick? Ah no! Was the lipstick she used not enough to make her face look as pale as her father said?
"Damn! Is it because my stomach is a bit queasy!" she wondered.
The woman tried to pull herself together and quickly took her seat while trying to look radiant.
"Really? I'm fine, Pah. Maybe it's because I dressed up in such a hurry," she explained, trying to remain calm.
"Okay then, but if you're not feeling well, don't push yourself... just call in sick and get plenty of rest."
Dinda nodded quickly and replied, "Yes, Captaint!" She put her hand to her forehead as if saluting.
Anggoro chuckled as he shook his head and said, "Okay, let's have breakfast first!"
Dinda just smiled as she exhaled a sigh of relief, "Fyuh... thank goodness! Papa doesn't suspect anything," she muttered to herself.
How could I not? The few minutes she spent were as tense as an interview at a well-known company, but this time it was much bigger than she imagined because if Dinda said the wrong thing... her father might find out the truth.
The two then continued to eat breakfast together until they finished and left for the office together using Anggoro's private car.
However, who would have thought that in the middle of the journey the nausea in Dinda's stomach would suddenly strike again? The woman now turned her head towards the window trying to hide and endure the nausea, but unfortunately the road this morning actually looked crowded until there was a traffic jam.
"Ouch! Traffic jam again... traffic jam again," grumbled Narno, the Anggoro family's personal driver.
Anggoro, who was sitting next to the driver, was also furious and chuckled, "Is there no other way, sir? We have to get to the office soon because I have a meeting."
Narno was silent for a moment, trying to remember if there was an alternative road nearby but this time he looked confused and finally replied, "I don't think there is, sir."
The situation had turned precarious! Especially with Dinda sitting in the back seat and enduring the growing nausea. Yes! In addition to enduring the nausea, Dinda had to behave as usual in front of the two men in front of her even though it felt so difficult.
"Oh my... what did I dream last night!? I feel like dying!" she thought.
After being stuck in traffic for a few minutes, they finally got out of the unpleasant situation and arrived at Anggoro's large company that had been established for decades.
Dinda who came down in a hurry, made her father wonder as he furrowed his brow, "What's wrong with you again, Dinda?"
"A-ah! I think I went in first, Pa. I'm going to the toilet first, bye!"
With limping steps, the woman walked quickly away from Anggoro, who was still standing beside his car, shaking his head at his daughter's behaviour without feeling the slightest suspicion.

Hoek!
Hoek!
Don't know how many times Dinda kept vomiting the food she had just eaten at home, her stomach really couldn't compromise anymore until the woman felt weak and leaned against the wall of the toilet which fortunately had no one else in it.
Breathing heavily Dinda closed her eyes feeling the discomfort in her stomach.
"What should I do? Do I have to be absent from the office! Papa will get suspicious," she muttered feeling confused.
Her eyes suddenly rounded and she quickly got up from the wall and took out her mobile phone from her bag.
"I have to meet Kevin and tell him I'm pregnant!" she muttered again with her fingers busy searching for her boyfriend's contact number.
However, after a few seconds, the phone didn't connect, and the only sound she heard was a train horn.
What ever how many times Dinda tried to contact her boyfriend during working hours until the clock went home, but none of the calls were connected to Kevin, which certainly made Dinda feel surprised and worried about her boyfriend's condition.
"Is he okay?" she wondered as she continued to stare at her mobile phone screen.
As the sun began to set, without thinking, Dinda quickly packed her things and left the office without saying goodbye to her father to Kevin's apartment and went to him by taking an online taxi that she had booked earlier.
Along the way, Dinda felt even more anxious as her mind began to come up with some negative assumptions regarding her boyfriend.
Looking around at the darkening road, Dinda said, "Can I speed up a little, sir? I'm in a hurry."
"Yes, Lady," replied the driver, nodding his head and looking at the front mirror.
Thus, the taxi arrived in front of a towering apartment building. After paying Dinda hurried into the main lobby at a trot, she was really looking forward to seeing Kevin inside his apartment.
With a cluttered mind and excessive anxiety, even with the nausea that attacked again, Dinda muttered to herself, "Patience, Honey! I hope your father is okay..."
After walking and riding the lift, the woman finally arrived at the 5th floor and walked towards unit number 201. Without shaping the door Dinda quickly pushed the door handle.
"What!? Isn't it locked?" Dinda furrowed her brow in surprise, it also made her even more anxious because she felt something strange. Without thinking anymore, Dinda immediately entered the unit while remaining vigilant for fear of danger around her.
Dinda slowly walked through her lover's apartment, looking messy as if it was not well maintained. Even more surprising was that in a corner of the living room there was a table full of rubbish and several used cans of drinks, which then made Dinda's steps stop and pause for a moment.
"What a mess!" Dinda exhaled roughly, again shaking her head in disbelief, "No wonder my phone didn't pick up, she must have been partying all night."
Without feeling suspicious, Dinda moved back to tidying up the mess. One by one, she picked up some plastic rubbish used for snacks and drinks. But her movement was halted again when she accidentally saw a small pink bag under a chair.
Her forehead furrowed again, "Whose bag is this?" she muttered as she reached out and examined the object, "I don't think I've ever had a bag like this."
Don't know what was going on but it was quite confusing for her, until the next minute her eyes rounded perfectly as if she remembered something about the bag.
"Ah! This bag looks similar to Bianca's, but-" Her words were cut short when Dinda accidentally heard a loud sighing sound.
The sound also no doubt made Dinda startled and got up, she then circulated her gaze trying to follow the source of the sound until her direction of view was directed at the apartment owner's bedroom door.
"W-who?" Dinda lowered her voice, asking herself while guessing what was going on in the room. Her feet took a step towards the source of the sound and her mind was in turmoil again, along with her racing heart.
As she got closer, the sighing sound became clearer even as she stood right in front of the door to her lover's room. Then without thinking, with one move the woman turned the door knob and opened it.
Bathump!!!
"Argh!!!" Dinda reflexively covered her mouth with both hands with her eyes perfectly rounded, "K-kevin? Bianca!?"
Dinda's arrival and shouting certainly made the two people who were romantically drunk on the bed suddenly startled, making the situation chaotic.
"Ah! Just disturbing..." Kevin stopped his movements and got up and put on his kimono with a look of annoyance mixed with fear on his face, as did Bianca. She quickly covered her naked body with the blanket, trying to control herself despite the confused look on her face mixed with fear.
Without saying anything else Dinda quickly approached and a hard slap hit Kevin's smooth, handsome face until his lower lip appeared torn and bleeding. Seeing that, Bianca squealed slightly and remained motionless on the bed.
"So this is how you've been behaving, Kevin!" Dinda sharpened her eyes to stare at the handsome innocent face, "How could you do this with--with my best friend!?"
Dinda then turned her gaze to the woman who had managed to break her trust in her years of friendship with her. The woman looked at Bianca sharply, as if she couldn't quite believe what she had just seen. Her feelings were now mixed, she had been betrayed by two people at once.
Dinda then approached Bianca slowly, "Is this what our friendship means, Bianca?"
But Bianca was silent and didn't say a word, instead she snorted in annoyance while looking away which certainly made Dinda even more furious! Dinda raised her hand to give her best friend a slap, but Kevin caught and held Dinda's movement.
"Don't touch my woman!" Kevin said with a fierce and threatening look.
That certainly made Dinda flabbergasted! Not to mention Bianca who just gaped at Kevin's words.
"What!?" Dinda chuckled even though she couldn't contain her annoyance, "Are you crazy, Kevin!?"
But Kevin did not answer and immediately dragged Dinda away from the room. Dinda of course tried to break Kevin's grip but her strength was definitely defeated by Kevin's burly body.
"Let go, Kevin! What the hell are you doing!"
Dinda continued to struggle but Kevin ignored her and continued to drag her slender body until he reached the exit, where he pushed and threw Dinda's body without any pity.
"Aw!!!" Dinda continued to whimper in pain while clutching her stomach area, "Why are you like this, Kevin?"
Once again, Kevin did not answer his girlfriend's short question. Not even explaining what was really happening to them.
She caught a glimpse of Kevin's cold and angry face, a far cry from his warm and affectionate demeanour.
Kevin then chuckled, "Since you already know, I don't have to explain anymore do I?" he said coldly, "Go away... and don't take our relationship for granted anymore. We're broken up, Dinda."
"What!?" Dinda tried to get up despite the pain and held Kevin who was about to close the door to her apartment, "W-what's wrong with you!? A-and what about our child?"
Kevin paused as he was about to close the door and just then he narrowed his eyes, "What do you mean? A child?"
Dinda nodded quickly and replied, "Yes, Kevin. I'm pregnant."
Bathump!
For a moment the world seemed to stop spinning, for a moment Kevin was silent with a face that turned pale. He really couldn't believe what Dinda, the girlfriend he had just dumped, had just said.
Until the next minute Kevin chuckled while shaking his head, "Seriously, Dinda... are you crazy? Or is this your way of begging me to feel sorry for you and not leave you?"
This was certainly upsetting! Kevin's remark was so unexpected that it even managed to make Dinda feel astonished and out of her mind until she ran out of patience.
"And again... didn't we only do it once? Why do I have to take responsibility if it's my child!? You should hold the man who fucked you several times accountable," Kevin joked shamelessly.
"Watch your mouth! I've never done that with anyone but you, Kevin!"
"Tsk! Whatever, it's definitely not my son. Go and find the child's father, and leave me alone!"
SLAP!
Kevin left by slamming the door so loudly that it made Dinda startled and closed her eyes, now she was really saddened by her boyfriend's treatment. Yes! I don't know what possessed Kevin to do that to her. Kevin's warm figure has now turned cold and cruel.
Now all that was left was sadness and regret, the feeling of tightness grew, along with the tears that slowly dripped down her beautiful face. The woman's body slowly leaned against the wall and slumped. Her cries echoed through the seemingly silent and deserted hallway.
"Damn! What should I do? How can I do this without your father, Honey..." she murmured to the foetus in her womb.
She stared and stroked her belly which contained the seed of her love with her lover who had left her. The woman was really frustrated with the situation she was in.
She slowly got up and walked out of the hallway, but without realising it, her legs were now covered in blood, which of course came from the pain centre caused by being pushed by Kevin. That certainly made Dinda surprised.
"W-what happened to me!?" Dinda said softly and continued to sob holding back her tears.
But even so she kept walking trying to find help even though the hallway was completely deserted. She wanted to scream for help but unfortunately her voice had run out as she continued to shout at Kevin and his mistress.
Until a few moments later, despite having to walk shakily, the woman finally arrived at a lift and quickly entered it. Her breathing was now ragged with her hands clutching her increasingly painful stomach, as blood ran down her legs.
"Damn it! Why didn't I just kill that Bianca!" Her hand quickly pressed the ground floor button until his body slumped back down in the corner of the lift room, "Apparently, all this time... I misjudged you, Bianca! No wonder you're always curious and excited when I talk about Kevin. Apparently this is the point."
Her words were interrupted along with her sight that was now starting to fade, consciousness that was decreasing until finally the woman lay unconscious before the lift arrived at the destination floor.

Pip
Pip
Pip
A faint, unfamiliar voice kept ringing in her ears as her eyes slowly began to open and a bright light shone into her eyes.
"Ah... where am I?" Dinda tried to clear her vision but the pain in her head was too great and overpowered her strength.
"Oh my God! you're awake!?" said someone in a baritone voice who didn't know who it was, "Doctor! Nurse!"
Dinda then closed her eyes tightly again and opened them, trying to gather her strength until she slightly realised where she was.
"W-who's there?" Dinda continued to ask the question to no one in particular.
Then there was the sound of a door opening roughly and the clattering steps of several people approaching.
"Ah! Am I in the hospital right now? Who took me? I thought I was going to die in that damn man's apartment lift," she thought to herself.
Until a few moments later, she regained consciousness and sat up, albeit on a large bed. Yes! Now she could see the entire large room marked Emergency Room, although it made her disbelieve, Dinda was still grateful that she was still safe even though she didn't know how her pregnancy was.
"Are you feeling okay? I'm really scared if something happens to you."
Dinda then paused and looked at a tall, handsome man with black, cropped hair.
"Did you bring me here?" asked Dinda slowly, with her face still looking pale.
The man smiled and nodded, "Yes, Lady. When I was cleaning the lift, I saw you already unconscious in there. I thought you had... " His words stopped for a moment until the man shook his head quickly, "Ah! Never mind, the important thing is that you're awake now."
There was no response from the woman, she just remained silent and continued to stare blankly at the stranger in the janitor's uniform who had saved her. I don't know what was going through Dinda's mind but for a long time she stared at the man sitting beside her bed.
"But take it easy ... the nurse said it's okay," he said again with a slight smile.
But that surprised Dinda with both eyebrows raised as her pregnancy was of course known by now. But the next second, slowly the wrinkles on her forehead began to fade as well as both eyebrows that went down.
"Ah! They won't know that I'm pregnant without the father of my child," she thought with some relief.
Dinda then sighed and smiled, "Thank you."
The man returned her smile and replied, "You're welcome."
"But I'm sorry if I'm being presumptuous, when I got here I panicked and rushed to get your mobile phone to tell your family. But... after I checked, I couldn't find your husband's number. So-"
"What did you say? Who did you contact?" interrupted Dinda, who was suddenly startled, causing the man to move his body slightly away.
"I ... found Papa's name who I thought was her father, so I-"
"So what? You called my Papa!?" Dinda widened her eyes in an alert position.
The man slowly nodded his head and...
"Oh my! What the hell!? What should I say to Papa?"
Dinda reflexively babbled incessantly without paying attention to herself, even with the blood slowly coming out of the IV tube attached to her hand. At the same time...
"Dinda? Where is my daughter, Sister?"
There was also a shout from outside. Yes! The baritone voice that sounded so familiar to the woman's ears.
