"Mrs. Gonzalez, I hope you aren't annoyed that I'm keeping you waiting" The female doctor, Miss Toni Morrison apologized to Mrs. Hazel Gonzalez as she is attending to a nurse.

"Not at all doctor, please take your time" Hazel smiled lightly as she tried to calm herself down.

Let me briefly introduce her.

She is Mrs. Hazel Kate Ramirez Gonzalez, the wife of the CEO of Duncan Gonzalez Real Estate Company, Duncan Kyle Gonzalez, her husband. The largest Real Estate Company in the country.

Duncan Kyle Gonzalez is one of the richest not only in Texas but the whole of America, he has chains of companies and assets, he is super-rich and extra handsome, he is someone people fear but that doesn't mean he isn't the eye candy of ladies but unfortunately, he only fell for Hazel.

Hazel is a young lady in her early 20s, she's 24 years old. Hazel is sure a very beautiful dazzling sexy young lady, each passing year, she looks even younger. No doubt, anyone who passes near her either a man or woman will surely look back to stare at her again.

Because she was captured and made a prisoner to finely cut by features. Hazel is perfect that no one can find a word to describe her beauty and to cap it up, one could get drowned in her sky blue turquoise eyes, the one that God gives to every beautiful woman.

Damn, she is dangerously beautiful...

Her husband is the only son of his parents and she would always say she is very lucky to have him as her husband.

She is currently in the hospital to know the result of the test she did last week. Recently, she noticed some changes in her body, and she has been vomiting frequently. She hopes it is nothing really serious.

"Alright, Mrs. Gonzalez, your results are ready" the doctor faced her smiling as she dismissed the nurse she was attending to.

"I hope it is nothing serious doctor," Hazel asked feeling sacred

"No, it is not" the doctor Shaked her head.

"Instead it is good news, the test we conducted shows that nothing is wrong with you" Miss Toni said smiling and I sighed

"Mrs. Gonzalez you are two months pregnant" the doctor released the surprising bomb.

"What did you just say," Hazel asked with a surprised expression

"You are two months pregnant" the doctor repeated laughing at my outburst.

"Oh my God, I'm pregnant for my Duncan," Hazel squealed happily rubbing my tummy as if I can feel the baby.

"This is the result, you may have it" the doctor stretched forth the result slip while I collected it and read it again probably the doctor is making a mistake.

"Duncan will be so happy to hear this" Hazel said smiling

" I bet he will," the doctor said smiling.

"Mrs. Gonzalez, now that you are pregnant, you will need to register for anti-natal care here in the hospital" she added

"Of course, I will," Hazel replied as she stood up and can't wait to get home to tell, her husband ...

"Thank you, doctor," Hazel waved at her walking out of the doctor's office.

Hazel got outside where the driver parked the car and opened the door for her to enter.

"Drive Mason," she ordered the driver and he drove off...

Gonzalez's Mansion

It was just a Thirty minutes drive from the hospital to the house...

They arrived at the gate of our house and the gate is opened by itself because it's electronic and it's as been registered.

The house is a two-story building painted white including the fence and the gate...

The house is so huge and round was painted in white color and the water spring was right at the center of the mansion. The floor was German floored and at the end, there's a large swimming pool with chairs...

Immediately, the driver drove inside the compound, she didn't wait for him to park the car very well before she got down rushing inside to tell Asher about her pregnancy.

Just as she got inside the sitting room, she saw her mother-in-law sitting down and because she had the sound of the door, she turned and saw it was her, she hissed.

"Mother, good afternoon" she greeted with a surprised expression on her face.

"Hmmm.... what is even good about the afternoon," Mrs. Mia said without looking at me as she continued watching the TV program she is watching before Hazel entered.

"Where are you coming from because I'm sure you don't have any place of work, your work is at home here but you won't listen till you are chased out," Mrs. Mia rolled her eyes

"Mother, I went out to somewhere important," Hazel sighed

"Who cares anyway, I hope Duncan chases you out quickly from here because you don't deserve it," Mrs. Mia added

She ignored her reply since she is used to it anyway and asked frowning," Mother, what are you doing here"

"First Hazel or whatever they call your name, I'm not your mother and I will never be a mother to a bitch like you" she eyed me badly

"What, me a b*tch" Hazel gasped pointing at myself

"Secondly, you don't have the right to ask me what I'm doing in my son's house, you gold digger" Mrs. Mia hissed ignoring what I said

"Mum, why are you calling me names all of a sudden," Hazel asked at the brim of tears.

"Why won't I," Mrs. Mia snorted with laughter

"What have I done again this time around to deserve these insults from you, mother"

"What have you not done, you are married to my son is part of it," Hazel sighed

Since the time Duncan and Hazel have known each other, when we dated and later got married, his mum, Mrs. Mia Gonzalez has never shown any sign of affection towards her.

It is as always been from one fight to another that she didn't know the reason for them and she will end up begging at the end.

If not because her love for Duncan and also for his support, she would have left him because of his Mum, Hazel wonders how her reaction will be when she tells her she is pregnant.

There is nothing she has ever done to please her and Duncan didn't have a father, which is why he can't chase his mum away.

"I'm sorry" Hazel sighed and begged just like her daily routine anytime she is angry with her and that means every time.

"Hmmm" she mumbled

Hazel sighed and want to start going upstairs and she called me back.

"Where do you think you are going"

"I'm going to meet Duncan,"

"He is not inside" she replied.

What, how come he isn't in? But his car is outside.

"Mother, please where is Duncan," Hazel asked her because it is Asher that is important to me right now.

Hazel is eager to tell him that she is having his baby.

"Why will I tell you where he is" she replied

"I need to tell him something very important" Hazel replied

"Well, he is busy with work so you can't see him" she answered

"But mother, according to the secretary, she told me that he is at home resting and his car is outside Hazel frowned

"And I told you as his mother, you can't see him right now" she snapped

"Mother, just like he is your son, he is also my husband" Hazel replied blankly.

"Look at how you are talking to me" she shouted

"Mother..." Hazel shouted

"Stop shouting, you are disturbing the peace of this house," she said looking upstairs worriedly

"Mother, why are you looking upstairs," Hazel asked

If eyes could kill, Hazel would already be six feets dead beneath the ground.

"Mother, you stuttered, is Duncan in the room," Hazel asked looking at her suspiciously

"He is not around, he is busy" she shushed me off

"Fine, since you claim he is not at home I'm going upstairs" Hazel declared

"What, don't you dare" she warned and dragged me back.

"This is my matrimonial home, my husband's house, I have the right, don't question me" Hazel corrected her firmly but gently staring at her keenly.

"Mother, what are you hiding"

"I'm not hiding anything" she shrugged

"Yes, you are," Hazel sighed," you are acting strange all of a sudden"

"Fine, since you insist you're not, I'm going inside"

"You will not go" she insisted

"Wait Mother, First you are calling me a bitch, secondly, you don't want me to enter the house and you are keeping Asher from me"

"Hazel, I'm your mother-in-law, don't go"

"I'm going upstairs and there's nothing you are going to do about it" Hazel snapped and started walking upstairs to check what she is hiding...

As she is climbing the stairs, Mrs. Mia came running after her to prevent her from going upstairs but I ran quickly so she won't meet up since she is quite old...

Hazel got to their room and suddenly, she met the door slightly open...

"Why will Duncan leave the door open?" She thought inwardly

"Duncan," she called him again with shock written all over her face and staggered back with the scene she saw.

She met Duncan lying with someone else on our matrimonial bed..

Lying is an understatement because he is having sex with another woman, not just another woman but her greatest enemy, Octavia Roger.

She sat up just like Duncan using the duvet to cover her body smiling at Hazel.

"Duncan, what..... what a... are you doing," Hazel stuttered still trying to take everything that is happening in as her eyes watered.

"What does it seems like I'm doing," Duncan said nonchalantly

"This is our matrimonial bed, Duncan, this is immoral"

"See who is talking about immorality" he scoffed

"What is she doing here," Hazel asked

"What are you doing with her" Hazel added

"What do you mean by what she is doing here" Duncan replied with a question as he sat up very well on the bed half-naked with the bitch...

He moved closer to the bed stand and brought out some photos and threw them at her.

"What is this" Hazel asked picking them from the floor

She checked the photos and saw she was on a bed with a stranger that she won't even know...

"I should have listened to her when she told me who you are, I wanted to prove her wrong but still Hazel, it shouldn't be you at all, I trusted you, I loved you" he shouted at her

"Asher, please believe me this photo is photoshopped" Hazel cried

"Well, I can never believe you again," he shrugged," I regret ever marrying you, Hazel"

"Since you decided to cheat on me and break the trust I have for you, so Octavia came into the picture and I fell in love with her" he smirked

"Since I have fallen in love with her, I see no reason why I should still be married to you"

"Huh, what are you trying to say," Hazel asked afraid of what he will say next

"I want a divorce" he blurted out

"What" Hazel staggered and fell sobbing loudly

"Duncan, no please don't do this to me, you are the only one I have, please I'm not the one in those pictures, we can investigate it, I can assure you don't divorce me" Hazel begged him

"Duncan, I'm pregnant...I'm two months pregnant," Hazel told him," I'm unaware of the pregnancy,"

"I said I'm pregnant for you, I'm just coming from the hospital right now," Hazel said sobbing maybe he would change his mind.

At first, Hazel saw an excited expression on his face as he stare at her tummy and she is already happy maybe he will consider but all of a sudden it changed to disgust.

"Who is the father," he asked

She is pregnant for me!..

"Mother...."

"I have told Duncan not to marry you but he won't listen, always claiming he loves you" she glared at Duncan while he stares at the floor avoiding her face...

"The only solution for you is to abort that child immediately," she said bluntly

"What" Hazel gasped

"Mother, he is your grandson" Hazel called crying

"My grandson will never be a bastard" she snapped at her...

"Mother, I can't abort my baby," Hazel said holding my tummy like I'm protecting it

"You will do what mum just said, aborting the child" Duncan admitted to it

"If you insist that you won't abort that baby and you even divorce him, I will make sure Duncan doesn't leave any penny for you" Duncan's mum glared hard at her.

"So you have no choice but to abort the baby" he added.

Duncan's mom made sure Asher isn't sending her money, if she want to get something, it was Duncan's credit card she will use.

People will think that her account is full of money but it is not...

"Fine, I will sign the divorce papers and abort the baby" Hazel announced feeling betrayed and helpless at that moment.

"Good, you are doing the right thing, Hazel, even the bastard baby of yours will be happy with the decision you took" Mrs. Mia laughed evilly

Duncan picked up his phone and made a call to his lawyer

"Get my divorce paper done right now and bring them to my house" he ordered while staring at Hazel as she is crying...

"After we have signed the papers, we will go to the hospital to remove that baby," Duncan told her bluntly staring at her tummy and then her face...

Chapter 3

"Mrs. Hazel, Please append your signature here" The lawyer pushed the paper to her side after showing her where to sign.

In less than an hour, the lawyer came to the house with the divorce paper.

Duncan, Octavia, and Mrs. Mia are sitting down in the sitting room opposite hazel and the lawyer and he is staring at Hazel with a void of emotion...

It didn't take Duncan and Octavia to get dressed before the lawyer came.

It was like Duncan told him before this day to prepare his divorce paper.

Hazel stared at the paper in front of her and wept quietly the lawyer was just staring at her and he as no right to ask why she is crying...

"Mrs. Gonzalez, Please sign..." The lawyer told her again when she continued crying.

"Hazel, sign the papers and let's forget about it" Mrs. Mia Gonzalez snapped

"After, signing the papers, we are going to the hospital, so be fast," Duncan told her harshly.

"Yes, I will" Hazel nodded and cleaned her face but still sobbing quietly...

"Here ma'am," the lawyer told her again...

Hazel took the pen and stared at the divorce paper and later signed on the paper as a tear dropped on the paper while signing...

"I'm done," Hazel told the lawyer and gave him the paper.

The lawyer looked at the papers for confirmation and he nodded his head before looking at Duncan.

"Congratulations, Mr. Gonzalez, it is done" the lawyer smiled at him and gave him the paper.

"Thank you Mr. Taylor" Duncan stood up and Shaked his hand.

"I will see you later" Duncan added

"Alright sir, bye" the lawyer walked out...

"Congratulations baby, you are now single again," Octavia said mockingly staring at Hazel

"Of course, I can't keep on being tied to a b*tch" Duncan scoffed crossing his hand and sitting down.

"Sorry Hazel Gonzalez," she said and gasped," Oh my bad you aren't a Gonzalez anymore, you are back as miss Hazel Ramirez" Octavia laughed

Flora knew about it when she heard the lawyer telling her to sign the papers...

Flora sighed and pitted Hazel because she has been the best madam they could ever ask for and as the head maid to the others are sad she will be leaving them.

"I'm so sorry sir, we will get it done right away" Duncan answered and head towards the kitchen.

"Ma'am Hazel" Zoya stopped midway to answer her

"Wow, she is acting good, huh" Octavia scoffed

"Just get me my black bag and my important documents, that is all that is mine" Hazel ignored Octavia's words

"Ma'am...." Flora called almost teary...

"Do as she says" Asher told Flora.

"Yes sir" Flora bowed and Hazel nodded

Hazel sighed and cleaned her eyes holding her tummy as Duncan stare at her tummy also...

She knew there was nothing else she could do to save her baby, even if he is for Duncan she won't want to kill the innocent child, so she was to save the strength when she wants to remove the baby...

"Ma'am" Flora brought the bag she requested for...

"Let's go" Duncan stood up and motioned for Hazel to follow him

"I want to accompany you to the hospital to be assured," His mother asked Duncan

"And Octavia should also follow us since she is your new girlfriend" his mother suggested

Hazel and Duncan got down from the car at the same time at the front of the hospital.

Duncan and Hazel entered the same car but acted like strangers while Mrs. Mia and Octavia entered the same car.

Hazel stood together with Duncan and stared at the hospital and sighed...

"I came here first with the good news of having a baby and now, I'm coming back here to remove it," Hazel thought inwardly

"Can today get any better?" Hazel said sobbing

Duncan looked at her and said, "Crying can't solve this"

"Duncan, don't you love me," Hazel asked Duncan in an inaudible voice.

"Don't ask me that question again, after the abortion, take the money and leave, I don't want to see you ever again and have anything to do with you" Duncan told her coldly.

The other car that his mum and Octavia are inside drove inside the hospital and they came out to meet them.

Inside the doctor's office

"Good afternoon, Mr. and Mrs. Gonzalez" she greeted as she came inside

"Good afternoon, Doctor" Duncan answered

"Doctor, it is Mr. Gonzalez and miss Ramirez, not Mr. and Mrs. Gonzalez," Mrs. Mia corrected her

"Alright, Mrs. Mia Gonzalez," the doctor said confused but masked with a big smile and Mrs. Mia nodded

"I hope there is no problem," the doctor asked as she is staring at the faces in the office

Miss Toni is surprised to see Mrs. Mia Gonzalez and Octavia with the couples who she thinks came to register Hazel for anti-natal care...

"Not at all, we are here for something else" Mrs. Mia Gonzalez answered the doctor instead

"We are here for an abortion," Duncan told her

"Yes, and we want it done it right now," Mrs. Mia said firmly

"Are you surprised, don't be, just do your work and get the f*ck out," Mrs. Mia snapped

In the operation

Hazel is lying on the operation table alone waiting for the doctor to abort her baby and she was very happy in the morning.

Duncan, his mum, and Octavia waited outside a reserved waiting room for the VIP according to the doctor...

The doctor who wants to abort the baby saw the hesitation and panic on Hazel's face.

"Mrs. Gonzalez, what is wrong" the doctor

"It is Miss Ramirez, doctor" Hazel corrected her

"Oh sorry, my bad," the doctor sighed

"Alright, why do you want to abort the baby because you were happy in the morning," the doctor asked frowning

"And you are feeling hesitated to abort the child" the doctor added

"Yes, I don't want to remove it but I'm forced to," Hazel said sitting up and starting to cry.

Hazel explained everything from the beginning to the end from when she left the hospital back to the same hospital again.

"Wow, that is bad, I'm so sorry" The doctor felt pity for Hazel

"It is alright, I have accepted my fate, doctor" Hazel smiled gloomily and the doctor sighed

"It is Toni Morrison, Toni" she corrected her and Hazel nodded

"What if you don't abort the child" Toni blurted out

"How can that be possible," Hazel asked confused

"What if you don't abort the child" she repeated

"I mean if you abort the child, there might be complications and might not be able to give birth again" Toni stared at her looking at Hazel probably she can continue.

When she saw Hazel is looking at her with rapid attention, she sighed and continued

"You can keep the baby, he doesn't want it but you want it, you won't be at rest if you kill this baby, many are looking for a baby and you have one, the innocent child shouldn't die because of his dad's mistake, Hazel"

"How can I take care of the child when I don't have enough money, where to live or how to even......"

"Stop complaining, first get out of here, then you will know what to do next" Toni persuaded her.

What the doctor said is right...

I can't kill an innocent child.

Duncan is already cruel to her and the child for sending me away.

But aborting the child isn't part of it.

I will keep the baby if he doesn't want it to be born.

I will work to fend for him and myself...

"What can I do," I asked the doctor as I recovered from the numbness and heartbreak from Duncan...

"At last, she would be gone from our lives and the both of you will get married" Mrs. Mia smiled at Octavia

"Thanks, mother" Octavia smiled and held Duncan's arm.

"You have been sighing since we got here," Mrs. Mia asked worriedly

"Yes, mother I noticed it too" Octavia nodded

"Don't bother, it is nothing" Duncan assured them

Duncan couldn't ask for more when the call came in because he knew they won't stop disturbing him till he says something reasonable.

He picked up the call.

"Hello, Wendy"

He stood up and faced his mum and Octavia

"I won't be able to wait any longer for her to come out"

"I just received an emergency call from Wendy from the company" He announced

The doctor came outside the operation room and went to meet Duncan's mum and Octavia where they are sitting.

"Hello ma'am" she greeted smiling

"Doctor, " Mrs. Mia called and stood up alongside Octavia

"We have removed the baby without no complications," the doctor told them
