My Ever Persistent Luna

" At this rate am going to be late" A Young man in a white collard office wear and neat ironed black pants glanced towards his wrist watch with a frown.

A beautiful bouquet of vibrant flowers held properly on his left hand while also holding a luggage bag with his right, underneath the starry night sky.

With the setting of the sun, the neon lights would flicker on, and The city's after-dark alter ego kicks in. More relaxed and care-free than its busy, conformist daytime counterpart, the evening is the time to kick back and let your hair down. From the bright lights and bustle of downtown and the sleek skyscrapers and glitzy allure of its several districts.

His slick jet black hair fluttered silently within the wind as he stood silently by the pavement seemingly looking for a cab, a sense of impatient could be clearly seen on his face as he waited, his stunning appearance couldn't help attracting several roaming eyes that stared at him in awe and longing but even then he didn't seem to pay much attention towards them, acting as if such acts were already a normal occurrence.

Though frowning, his enticing features didn't look diminished in the slightest, instead it gave of the feeling of an enticing cavalier.

The tempting young man's name was Lu Xin, a 24 year old soon to be intern who'd just graduated from medical school not to long ago, now getting ready to undergo his internship, for personal reasons he sought to undergo his internship back in his home city, after so long outside, he couldn't wait to return home to his friends, family and most of all his darling girlfriend who he'd not seen face to face in years, up until now Lu Xin had been pursuing his studies abroad only now returning after several years.

Fortunately for him, not too long afterwards he finally managed to hail a cab.

" Where too? " The uber driver looked him up and down, his thoughts unknown.

" A second please..." Lu Xin reached for his phone after dropping his luggage and the bouquet of flowers to his side.

Looks like his new here, probably some kid coming for a visit or something_ The Uber driver sneaked a glance at Lu Xin who was on his phone.

After a short bout Lu Xin turned his phone screen towards the Uber driver " I'd like to go here please, am sorry for the delay, It's my first time here you see and am afraid am a little loss"

"It's nothing, don't worry about it, judging by the location on the screen I'd say that's around the newly built residential area not to far from the McDonald's down town, you sure that's where you want to go?"

" Yes, am kind of in a hurry you see, so do you mind driving faster sir, I hope my request isn't to much of a problem?"

"No no no not at all young man, I was just asking to make sure, that's all, no need to worry, I promise I'll get you their as quickly as possible" The driver smiled reassuringly, his two hands placed firmly on the wheel, his figure gave Lu Xin a sense of comfort and safety, since there was nothing with the driver he might as well enjoy the ride he thought.

" Many thanks Sir, I'll be sure to leave you a five star review afterwards" Lu Xin smiled courteously towards the driver.

" Hahahaha then allow me to thank you in advance my boy, ok now fasten your seat belts we wouldn't want to get into any accidents now do we" The driver shortly drove off afterwards, their destination was non other than Lu Xin's Girlfriends apartment building.

" You seem new around here, Visiting someone by any chance?" The driver tried striking up a conversation, yet his face was still facing vigilantly towards the road.

" Yes actually, how did you know?"

" Kid with those stunning longing eyes of yours anyone would be able to guess" he smirked helplessly, Lu Xin who was behind him fortunately wasn't able to see his expression, only god knew how embarrassed he'd be if he saw.

" Ehhh?, was I that obvious..." Lu Xin smiled embarrassingly, yet he didn't feel discouraged, instead the longing within his eyes was soon accompanied by a sweet smile the moment he remembered the reason for his impatience.

After so long he'd finally be able to see her again, the love of his life, his beating heart, the apple of his eye, his girlfriend Myeong.

Due to him leaving home to pursue his studies else where, Myeong who wasn't able to, was forced to stay back while he left...

Ever since then, though they tried keeping in touch through social media and technology, it still wasn't the same, meeting in person and texting over the phone were still two different things, Lu Xin understood that clearly, so whenever something came up concerning her, he'd make it his number one priority no matter what, whether he was busy studying for exams, or meeting with friends, so long as she was in need, he'd drop everything he was doing without hesitation.

Even though he felt happy and cheerful whenever they texted, he still yearned to spend time with her like always-whether cuddling, going out on date's or kisses and hugs, deep within his heart he'd been patiently waiting for the day he would finally be able to see her again, unlike the last time they met, he was naturally far more different than prior.

Ever since he left, he's secretly always wanted to return to her better than he was before, After several years of hidden hard work, his cute average looking figure was now gone.

With the passage of time, He'd already grown to an astonishing 1.9 meters, with stunning masculine good looks, though he prefers laying around, silently reading, due to his urge to impress her, he willingly took up working out, with the addition of his studies, he soon made both his daily routines.

Most days he'd head to the gym where he'd work out tirelessly, at first it proved difficult for his nonchalant demeanor but after several months of continuation he soon got used to it, even going as far as training for hours before feeling exhausted, with his patented training sessions it wasn't long before his achievements started showing.

The emergence of well defined muscles that looked chiseled and smooth, stunning rock hard abs and a noticably sturdy physique which when matched with his tempting features no doubt looked drop-dead gorgeous.

After a short drive he soon arrived at his destination, he politely waved the driver off before heading up the flight of stairs, with each step he took the faster his heart raced, the passion within hin slowly pouring out like a love filled stream, the day he'd finally been waiting for was finally hear, after so long he'd finally be able to hold her within his loving embrace once more, never to part with her ever again.

With his quick pace Lu Xin soon arrived at the proper floor, her apartment door finally before his eyes, his mind was filled with anticipation. Lu Xin impatiently strided towards her door.

With a flurry of emotions surging within him, he reached towards the door with his right hand only to soon stop mid way, to his surprise he noticed that the door was actually unlocked.

Due to his excited state of mind he didn't think much about it, soon entering the apartment complex, he made his way towards the sofa in the sitting room where he placed his luggage beside it, his eyes wondered about the apartment naturally looking for his treasured lover.

He checked the kitchen, rest rooms and the sitting room but still couldn't find her, a sense of urgency soon grew within him wondering where she was, his searching figure soon came to a halt when he happened to notice something.

Though light and nearly inaudible within the apartment, Lu Xin happened to pic up on a sound he'd never expected to hear at that instant, while standing in the sitting room, his sharp ears happened to pic up on sounds of clapping coming from the direction of the bedroom.

What on earth could she be doing?_ no matter how hard he tried he couldn't quite understand why she'd be clapping within the bedroom causing several other thoughts to cloud his mind.

A sense of urgency rose within him,

Lu Xin quickly made his way towards the bedroom with the beautiful bouquet still in hand, hoping to find her and as he pushed open the door, behold there she was, yet his mind instantly went blank while his body went stiff, his handsome face slowly lost their colour as he felt himself falling into the depths of his despair.

For before his eyes stood the love of his life he'd been looking for all this while, but not only was she not alone, she lay'd atop the bed completely naked, her smooth porcelain legs spread wide open while an unknown man lay'd atop her, their bare body covered with sweat, the room filled with the smell of S*x and lust.

Lu Xin stood their silently, he didn't know what he felt at the moment yet.., his entrancing eyes slowly moistened, The Knock-out heart broken young man felt his grip on the bouquet loosening before they fell to the ground with a light thud, the sound of the dropping flowers attracted the attention of the two pleasure seekers atop the bed, the bare skinned man glanced at Lu Xin with bewilderment wondering when he got into the room, his eyes soon constricted slightly when his eyes saw Lu Xin clearly, though he looked anguished and brokenhearted, the bare skinned man couldn't help feeling threatened by Lu Xin's pressuring physique.

like an asshole caught with his pants down he hastily made his way towards the door, Lu Xin who was still stunned beyond belief stood their silently as the man ran past, his sorrow filled eyes were still on the naked woman atop the bed.

With the man now probably gone, The two figures who remained in the room where now only Myeong and Lu Xin.

Myeong gawked at the handsome face before her in shock which soon turned to panic, her face turning deathly pale from fright.

Her gaze was met with Lu Xin's miserable expression, with the little bit of strength he could muster at the moment Lu Xin looked towards Myeong, his soft Luscious lips parted as he asked through the great pain in his heart.

" M-Myeong...W-Why?......."

" Lu Xin it's not what you think–" Myeong wanted to explain only to stop after realizing the severity of the situation, how could she explain something like that?.

" Ex-Explain?, Myeong you want to explain?, explain why I caught you sleeping with another man?, explain why you're face was clouded with ecstasy while you both fxcked your brains out?" The more he spoke the more Myeong felt ashamed, she sat there in silence.

Lu Xin who felt utterly betrayed felt his eyes moisten more and more as he spoke " I left to pursue a career that you suggested I follow, A career you said would be perfect for the both of us, I did it just because of you, several years tirelessly studying, cramming, Night after night, drinking coffee cup after cup just so I could come back here and give you the life you've always wanted...., yet the only thing I asked of you, The one thing that I needed you to do, what did you do?"

"I-i...am sorry Lu Xin..."

"Exactly, it's now come to am sorry Lu Xin.., W-Why....Why couldn't you do the one thing, the single thing I asked of you to do, Yet you expect me to always drop everything for you, no questions asked." Lu Xin clenched his palm as drops of crystal clear tears fell down his reddened cheeks.

" that's how this relationship works right?, Whenever you need support during a crisis I never hesitate to give it to you, you need advice I give it to you, you need a shoulder to cry on I lend you mine, even when you were at your lowest I gave you everything, my time, my attention, my patience, my understanding, my life!...and yet?, you still went ahead and did this to me?..." The more Myeong listened the more her shame grew, her heart was filled to the brim with guilt till she couldn't think straight anymore, she knew there was no going back anymore after what she'd done so instead she decided to go along with it, at least save herself some shred of dignity she thought.

" Lu Xin, don't you dare start blaming everything on me!, You expect me to stay here all alone while your out their pursuing your dreams, you left me here all alone for so long!, what did you expect"

" What did I expect?, your asking what I expected from you Myeong?, well since where being honest, truth of the matter was that I never expected much from you, I knew what type of person you were from the very beginning, yet the moment I fell in love with you, I decided then and there that I wouldn't expect much from you, all I ever wanted was to be loved by you, I wanted your affection, your companionship, your care, your time, even if it meant one day getting my heart stabbed like today I didn't mind, so long as I got to spend these few years with you...., B-But I n-never thought you'd do this to me so soon" Lu Xin's tears feel more quickly yet he forced himself to smile, that smile was a self mocking one, even when he knew, he still went ahead with it, how foolish was he back then? to have thought that he could handle this when the time finally came, though not maimed, stabbed or lacerated, to him, the pain he felt right now was something far more excruciating than anything he'd ever felt before, sure to leave a deep scare within him.

"......I tried so hard and got so far...yet in the end it doesn't really matter does it" Lu Xin let out a breath of exhaustion before bending down under Myeong's scrutinized gaze, he picked up the bouquet he'd dropped earlier, looking back, a once handsome and sharp looking young man now reduced to tears before her.

Seeing his heart broken look, Myeong bit her lower lip begrudgingly, a surge of sadness growing within her, yet even then she reached out her hand to point towards the door, her meaning was clear, being assaulted by all these emotions she never thought she'd feel made her feel like she was constantly drowning, slowly being suffocated, she couldn't take it anymore, the more she saw his downcast expression the more her guilt grew, she just couldn't take it anymore, Myeong wanted nothing else right now but for him to leave at least for her to clear her mind.

" Your asking me to leave..., fine I'll leave...I think that's the best thing to do right now...." Lu Xin let out a deep sigh, he'd only just turned his back and taken a few steps when he felt a little tug on his long sleeved top, he turned his head backwards, his dispassionate eyes glancing towards Myeong who had her head lowered unwilling to meet his gaze.

"And what is it this time?" Lu Xin frowned, his voice sounding a bit detached.
