My Dark Isekai Project

My name is Itami Isaac. I live in the city of Brangel. I am 15 years old and I go to Brangel high school. My day starts by getting a slap on my cheeks.

I always wake up late and that's why sometimes I miss my school bus. To wake me up in time my mom slaps me on the cheek. After getting my daily dose of slap I wash my face and brush my teeth.

After getting freshened up I eat my breakfast and leave for my school. That's how usually my day starts.

Now let's come to the main topic I don't like my city so I call it the monster's city. To me the people who live here aren't human they are just monsters in human form.

Well, I have my reasons for hating this city and its people. To me They don't understand what it truly means to be a human; they are just too busy to live their lives in this illogical and cruel world.

They will not hesitate to kill a human to achieve what they want now you guys tell me how can I see them as a human when they even don't care about others?

To me, a human definition is a person who saves and protects his brethren and his family. So those who don't follow this definition aren't human according to me.

I will never recognize them as human. Now let me tell you about an incident in my life that recently happened.

One day I was going to my school as usual. I was walking toward my school cause I have missed my bus.

I was just singing and walking but suddenly a child came to me and hold my hands and tells me that he is too hungry and begged me to give him some food to eat.

I replied, " Yeah, sure, but I don't have any food with me right now, so can you wait here until I bring some food for you?"

He replied, "ok, big bro I will wait for you here". I felt very happy when he addressed me as his big brother.

After that, I went to the convenience store and bought a cold drink and a sandwich, and a packet of chips. But when I returned to the place I didn't see him there.

I felt scared and started to look for him nearby but I didn't find him anywhere. After searching for him for an hour I returned to my home cause I have missed the classes.

After 3 days I finally saw him but not in front of my eyes in the newspaper.

I saw him on the news when I opened the morning newspaper that day; the news was about a child named Christopher Brown who was founded dead in a trash box.

My eyes were full of tears when I saw his photo in the newspaper. I couldn't believe that he is no more.

After seeing his photo for a minute I rushed toward the police station to gather more information about his death.

When I reached the police station I saw his dead body. Nobody is allowed to enter the morgue but my father was a senior police officer that's why I was able to enter the morgue.

I somehow entered the morgue but I wasn't ready to see what I saw that day. I saw that Christopher's body was torn apart.

I vomited as soon as I saw his dead body. I can't understand how can a human be so cruel that he has torn apart an 8 years old child.

I left the morgue after seeing Christopher's dead body. That night my father beat me for entering the morgue.

But even after getting beaten up, I didn't cry at all that day cause whenever I remember Christopher's face the pain doesn't seem to have any effect on me.

I was just thinking "How Christopher felt that day when the criminals were ripping him apart alive".

Just the thought shocked me. I couldn't sleep at all that night.

Whenever I was trying to sleep the face of Christopher floated in front of my eyes.

After staying up for the whole night I fell asleep in the morning, but I saw a nightmare where Christopher was asking me why I didn't save him, In the nightmare, I replied I am sorry, if I had taken you with me that day maybe you would have been alive today.

I woke up after the nightmare. My eyes were full of tears that time and I was crying like a newborn baby. I can't just admit that Christopher is no more.

I locked myself in my room for a week. But one day my school friend Robin Astra came to my house and called me to get out of my room.

At first, I ignored him but after some time he came in front of my room's door and told me something that blew my mind.

But when I get interested in the topic he changed it and started to talk about some sports. I immediately stopped him and told him to tell me more about the thing.

He laughed and told me that he will tell me the whole thing in detail if I come to school regularly.

I replied with excitement that "I will come to the school the next day, can you save a seat for me right beside you?"

He replied, "Ok, but can you open the door right now". I unlocked my room and welcomed him.

We talked about a bunch of unnecessary things. He left after some time but before leaving, he told me to take care of my health.

The next day I stepped foot outside of my room for the first time and packed my school bag and left for school.

I saw Robin as soon as I reached school, He was waiting for me in front of the school gate. I waved my hand and go near him. He waved back and asked me "How am I doing?"

I replied "I am okay you don't have to worry about me" and asked him "Anyway when are you going to tell me about the whole thing?"

He smiled and told me to have some patience. I looked at him with an angry face and said in a loud voice to make it worth my precious time.

He again smiled and replied that "Ok, my majesty as you wish". This time I couldn't hold myself from smiling.

After some time our first period started and we rushed to our classroom. I and Robin sat together on the bench.

We become silent as soon as the first period started and didn't talk with each other until the Tiffin period.

When the Tiffin period started Robin pulled out something from his pant's secret pocket. The secret pocket was his underwear.

I just looked at him with my famous disgusted look and asked him "Didn't you have any other pocket beside your stinky underwear".

He replied that "No if anyone found out the thing then we would go to jail for it so I thought that my secret pocket was safer than my regular pockets".

I get scared and excited at the same time when he told me that.

I told him to let me see it quickly but he replied that "It is a dangerous thing and that's why we should go to an abandoned bathroom to check it out".

As he said we go to the bathroom. In there he showed me a page with some weird patterns. "I asked him what is this?"

he replied that "It's a leaflet and we can summon a witch by drawing the pattern and saying the spell, we are now going to summon a witch to see if the leaflet works or not".

My hands started to shake when he said that he is going to summon a witch but still, I said him to continue.

Then he bought chalk from the classroom and draws the same exact pattern as the leaflet and after that, we started to say the spell, and out of nowhere, a witch-looking woman appears in the mirror.

I was so scared that I almost pissed in my pant but that's when Robin asked the witch her name?'

The witch replied that "Her name is Quinella Gross and she is from the Kalid Universe".

I get shocked when she told me that she is from the Kalid universe cause I never knew that There were multiple universes in the world.

Robin then tells her his only wish is that "he wants a fruit of her world"

She says "ok and gives him a dragon-shaped fruit and asks him to give her payment". He then asks her "What she wants?"

she replied that "she wants his rectangular-shaped thing".

At first, we didn't understand what she was asking for but later she pointed out Robin's Smartphone and we understood that she wants Robin's Smartphone.

As she wanted we gave her the Smartphone and went back to our classroom.

We were so happy that we were able to summon a witch from another world. We didn't try any other reckless summoning that day.

A month passed away after that incident but one day Robin suddenly appeared in my house from my bathroom mirror.

We didn't talk with each other after the summoning that day cause whenever I asked him about the detail of the summoning he just changed the topic and said that he will tell me everything one day when he will be able to find out every kind of dark magic and it's secret.

When he appeared in the bathroom I was taking my shower but after seeing him I lost consciousness and fell in the bathroom.

Luckily he saved my head from falling in the bathroom. When I regain consciousness I see that Robin was standing in front of me in a dark cloak.

But as soon as I regained my consciousness he tells me about a project that can transport a person of this world to another world, in dark scripture, it's known as Isekai. (To Be Continued)

After hearing Robin's words, I get shocked and asked him "Is it really possible to transport the people of this world to another world?" He smiled and replied, "Do you want to hear more about it?"

I told him to stop joking and order him to tell every detail he knows. First, he shared with me that he summoned the witch that day again and asked her about the dark scripture.

After hearing the question, Quinella asked me if that's what I want to know from her. I nodded my head and tell her that yeah, that's why I summoned you.

She shows me a sweet smile and warns me by saying that there will be a massive charge for it. I bravely replied that I am ready to give you anything if it means to save my city from the situation.

Quinella asked me to give her 5 years of my lifespan for the information. I agreed immediately and said how can I give you my lifespan?

She assured me by saying that "I don't have to worry, if I just signed the paper in front of her, then the contract will be completed".

I said where the paper is but out of nowhere a paper shows up in front of me and there was a proper contract written on it, so I signed it.

After signing the contract, I felt a severe headache and breathing difficulties that's when I understood that my lifespan is already been taken. After that, she started to tell me all the secrets of the dark scripture, and as a bonus, she also teaches me some dark rituals.

It took me a day to know all the dark secrets and rituals. Because of the rule of the summoning ritual, I couldn't leave my room for a day.

The next day, I leave the room with some dark circles underneath my eyes. That's how I gained all the knowledge about the transporting system.

"Okay, I understand now why you were so busy the past month, but why didn't you tell me about it before?" asked Itami.

"Because I wanted to avoid showing you my half-baked plan" Robin replied. So, that means you have already planned the whole thing.

Yes, my dear majesty you are correct, if you help me to execute my plan then we will be able to transport all the people of this world to another world.

I thought about his offer for a second and at last, I agreed to help him, but on one condition. Robin asked me, "What is it?"

You have to let me be the leader of whatever you are planning, and I want to be notified about a single thing you manage to find, if you agree to all these things, then I will help you.

Robin laughed insanely after hearing my condition and asked is that all or do you want to put anything more in it? Anyway, I am ready to accept all your conditions.

I replied with a smile, "Then it's final that we are starting the project together". He shakes my hand and welcomed me as the new project leader.

Suddenly, my mom knocks on the door, so I told Robin to flee away and also asks him to show me the whole plan tomorrow.

As I told Robin, he fled away from my bathroom mirror and I unlocked my room. When I opened the room, my mom barges in and asked whom I was talking to.

"I was alone in the room, and you know that so that means I was talking to myself" I replied. My mom looks at me like I need a check-up from a psychiatrist and told me to inform her if I feel too ill.

I assured her by saying that "I am all right I just feel a little bit sick that's all, I will be all right if I take some rest". She believed my words and left the room.

I lay in my bed and thought about the things Robin told me, cause I can't still believe that I can finally teach the people of my city what it truly meant to be a human.

As I thought about it all night, I fell asleep. The next day when I woke up from my sleep, Robin was already in my room.

So now it's time to make the transportation test. So, foremost I asked him what the plan is, and how are we going to send the people to another world.

He smiled and told me to leave everything to the Dark truck. I showed him my middle finger and asked him if he is joking with me, cause I never thought that he would use a truck to transport people to another world.

He asked me to calm down and shows me the photo of the Dark truck. I looked at the picture and asked him what are you trying to show me in the picture, cause I just see is a normal truck here.

He places his hands on his head and asks me to look more carefully. When I looked more carefully, I saw a magical pattern on the truck.

After seeing the magical pattern I asked him, so it will help us to connect both worlds, am I right? Then he pulls out a toy truck and a bottle of mineral water from his backpack, places them on the floor, and orders me to give my attention.

He first places the bottle in front of the toy truck and tells me to think of the truck as Dark truck and to think of the bottle as a human.

I replied okay and said, please proceed with your plan. He then tells me that the bottle is a human and that the water inside the bottle is the soul of the human.

We will run over the truck on a human and because of the magical pattern the soul of the human will get sucked up in the pattern, and he will be reincarnated in another world.

That's how we are going to transport people to another world.

I raised my hand and asked Robin, "So you are saying that it's not possible to transport the body of a human to another world?"

He nodded his head and replied that's correct, we can just transport the soul to another world, not the body.

I asked him another question, "Then how the human will be reincarnated in another world is he going to be reborn as a baby?"

He called me an idiot and told me that it's not possible cause we can't produce bodies so we will use fresh dead bodies as the vessel of the soul.

"Don't we need to draw a magical circle in another world too?" I asked. He replied, "Yeah you are right, and I have already taken care of it, Quinella is going to help us with this project".

I asked him with a smile on my face that "Are we really going to the Kalid universe?" He replied, "Yes, we are going to the Kalid universe are you excited to go there?".

I said of course I have only read about the Kalid universe in Fantasy comics so yeah I am pretty much excited.

He smiled and said sorry cause he is going there first. I asked him why and also notified him that I will go there first.

He then informs me that he has to pay Quinella first, so he has to go there first and arrange everything.

I give it a thought and realized that it's too dangerous cause in order to go there I have to die first in this world and no matter what I am not ready to die yet. So, I give the honor to Robin.

We planned everything to the last detail in 30 minutes and left the room to execute our plan. First, we go to an abandoned place where the Dark truck was parked.

We enter the truck and Robin started the engine, but before going I asked him a question. I asked him, "How did he manage to get the truck?"

He replied that his uncle owns a delivery service company, so he basically asked his uncle to give him an old truck.

As he asked his uncle he gave him the truck but before giving him the truck he taught me how to drive a truck. So, that's how I get the truck, and later I modified and painted it black and drew the magical circle with the secret dark color.

After listening to his story, I replied "Oh! Your uncle seems cool, thank god he doesn't ask you that many questions".

"Yeah, you are right" he replied. "We should get going right now," Robin said after laughing. After 45 minutes we reached a big forest located in the south of Brangel City.

After getting deep into the forest, he gets out of the truck and asked me to drive the truck over him. I get surprised and asked him why are you asking me to drive the truck, this wasn't the plan that we discussed.

"So why did you think we arrived in the forest," he asked. I replied, "I thought that we were just going on a long drive".

He looked at me with an annoyed expression and told me to do my job properly as a project leader.

At last, I had no choice, so I sit in the driver's seat, Robin stood in front of the truck and I pushed the accelerator. (To be continued)

I pushed the accelerator and run over the truck on Robin. After killing Robin, I get out of the truck to see Robin's dead body and I vomited when I see Robin's dead body cause his body was completely squished.

After vomiting for some time, I went inside the truck and slept for some hours. When I woke up, I found a letter in the Driver's seat.

In the letter, Robin wrote that he has taken care of everything, and he left a suicide note in his home, so I shouldn't worry about anything, he also added that he will appear in a mirror kept in the truck as soon as he reaches Kalid universe.

After reading the letter, I felt some relief. As he told me, I waited for him to appear in the mirror. After 4 hours, he appeared in the mirror with Quinella.

I felt a little bit jealous when he was holding Quinella's hand but whatever he deserves it cause he took the risk.

He told me that he is fine and had taken care of the payment. He asked me to wait and continue my daily life here cause he needs some time to settle there and also added that he will tell me when I have to proceed with the plan.

After informing me all that, he banished. After thinking for some time I left the forest, Oh! I think I didn't tell you guys that I hide the truck in the basement, located in the middle of the forest.

So, I reached my house in a taxi. I behaved as usual I do and sit to play the PS 5 after some time my mom entered the house from her work.

As usual, she took a shower and eats some snacks, and comes to my room to give me a hug and that's when Robin's mom called my mom on her cell phone.

She picked up the phone and told her not to worry. I asked my mom who was that, even though I know who called her.

She replied that "It's Robin's mom" and asked me "If I know anything about where Robin is?"

I replied, "No mom I didn't see him around today" and asked my mom "What happened why you are looking worried?"

She replied that "Robin has left a suicide note in his room and nobody had seen him since tomorrow"

I told her not to worry and also assured her by saying that don't worry it's robin we are talking about, there is no way he would suicide.

My mom replied that "You are right, there is no way that brilliant child would do something foolish".

I agreed with her and nodded my head and told her that "He would return after some days I think".

My mom stood beside me for some time and left after kissing my forehead.

I was literally shaking when I remembered the truck incident, but suddenly at that time Robin appeared in my room's mirror and notified me that he had already secured a job there.

I asked him, "How did you manage to secure a job so soon?"

He replied that "The time gap between these two worlds is 1 week, so it means I have already passed my 1 week here while you just passed 8 hours there"

After listening to his reply, I was like what the hell are you talking about, there is a time gap between two spaces?

Robin expressed an emotion that tells how hopeless I was, cause I am sure he never thought that I would never know that simple thing.

After expressing the emotion he told me that "Come on man even a 6 year old child would know that and added that "Are you joking with me don't tell me that I have just given my life while trusting you when you don't even know the simple thing".

I corrected his words by saying that "You are mistaken you didn't die your soul have just transferred to another world which means you haven't died".

He replied, "Okay you don't have to say it twice". After the argument, I asked him "whose body is this?"

He replied that "It's a body of a 17 year old boy who have just died 5 hours ago before my soul transferred into his body".

I said, "ok I understood, but these bodies' previous owner did have any name?"

He sighed and replied, "yeah I know, but I think you shouldn't listen to the name"

I asked, "why and insisted on hearing the name". He looked a little bit uncomfortable but when I insisted to him a lot he told me the name".

But after hearing the name it seemed like I shouldn't insist on him cause I was not ready to hear the name again after that terrible incident.

I know you guys wouldn't believe what robin said, but the previous owner's name was Christopher Brown, and it's true cause he showed me his birth certificate.

My mind suddenly gets blank when I heard the name. Robin started to scream from the mirror and I don't know what he was saying cause I was losing consciousness.

When I woke up, I saw my mom asking me "Whether I was fine or not?"

I replied that "I am okay, I just fell asleep while playing a game".

After hearing my excuse, she told me to take care of myself, or she has to become stricter about my gaming time.

I laughed and changed the topic. I started to talk about how I completed 5 levels at once.

She listened to my unnecessary talking for some time and said you and your game, I don't understand both of it. She left my room after saying that.

That's when I started to think about Robin and about his life in another world. I wondered how he was passing his time there.

Meanwhile, Robin was speaking with his party members. After he arrived in the Kalid universe, he paid his due to Quinella.

There was nothing about giving money and taking care of Robin in the contract, but still, she gave him 10 gold coins and a place in her house to stay.

Robin asked her, "Why are you doing that much for me?"

She replied, "There is no good reason behind it, I just like you and fancy you that's all, and I am a good girl despite being a witch".

Robin asked, "Is that reason enough for you?" She replied, "yeah, It's enough for me".

After resting for 2 days, he left to register himself in the adventurer's guild located in the capital. Oh! I think I didn't tell you guys that Robin is staying in the capital city of Rose Empire.

Kalid universe is 5 times bigger than our world and like our earth there is only one livable planet in the Kalid universe known as planet Mare.

Maybe you guys are thinking how did I get all that information but when I checked my bag after returning from jungle I found a notebook there and all the information about Kalid universe was noted there?

After registering in the adventure guild, he joined a party name Twin Horns. Gilbert adolescent is the party leader and madam Trivut is the vice leader.

We have a healer a vanguard an archer and a muscle head Idiot. I joined the party as a Dark mage.

Everyone is pretty nice to me in the party, the healer Draies is a quite funny guy despite being a divine healer he jokes about some laws about his religion.

He tells us that you guys are possibly thinking I don't believe in god and I just become a healer cause of my family name, but that's not true.

The only thing that I am opposing is false religious things like worshiping a statue or something like that.

Mr. Draies hails from the pope family, his family is best known for producing great healers. But Mr. Draies refused his family's Ideals and left the family.

On the other side, our muscle-head idiot Harold Hage hails from a noble family. He was too dumb to handle his father's job, who was a knight Captain of the Rose Empire.

He was disowned by his family for being an Idiot, that's all we know about him. There are a lot of things that he hides from us, but we know that he will tell us everything about himself someday.

Everybody calls Robin, Chris the dark mage, but in the party, everybody just calls him Chris.

Our party has just found our first quest, and the quest is to clean a dungeon.

So, we all decided to enter the dungeon tomorrow. Everyone is excited and scared at the same time. The next day, we the Twin Horns entered the dungeon to complete our first quest.

But Robin doubts in his mind that "Can he help the party, even if he helps the party can everyone clear the dungeon and come back alive"? This question is going through his mind. (To be continued)
