The CEO is currently looking at the view at her Mom's penthouse. It was nice and relaxing knowing she's in an unfamiliar country. "Lauren" She heard a soft voice, the girl looked around and saw her Mom smiling at her "Mommy," she said and hugged her as she hugged her back. Lauren sigh finally after 23 years of staying in Los Angeles to manage her modeling agency, being a model and a CEO.

The girl pulled out the hug and looked at her Mom who's smiling at her "Look at you, a grown-up already" her Mom said rubbing her cheeks while Lauren melted into her touch, she surely miss her Mom so much. Her Mom led her to the balcony wherein you could clearly see the view, the weather is just at the right temperature and surely Lauren really like it. "So? How was your flight? Why are you not resting when I came home?" Leslie her Mom asked while pouring some tea and handing it to her daughter "I'm really not that tired especially I slept on the plane, maybe I'll just use my sleepy eyes tonight" Lauren said sighing looking at the view.

Her Mom Leslie was looking at her wondering how her daughter is right in front of her. Leslie is staying in Korea with her eldest daughter who is an idol while her Son is currently a senior high school student aged 17. To be honest, they are Laurene's step-siblings. Laurene has a different father. Leslie and he really had a great bond really love her so much. Leslie got pregnant with Lauren, of course, her real Dad was there to support and really treat her as a real princess but sadly, Leslie and Him decided to divorce for some reason, Laurene was 4 at that time. Leslie decided to focus on being a celebrity in Korea, she was so kind that she decided to let Ben, Lauren's father take care of her. Of course, the father is happy. He took care of Lauren so well, he mostly brings him to the office with him because he was working as a CEO of a modeling agency for Men and Women, a lot of his workers really adored Lauren and the girl also grew up in that place.

Ben was diagnosed with Cancer when Lauren was 13, of course, Lauren was too smart so she knows how to take take care of her Dad and spend her time with him, she studied hard about business, fashion everything that her Dad studied and how he really became successful. Of course, Lauren didn't lose contact with her Mom but she mostly spends her time with her Dad.

At the age of 20, she graduated college and at that time Ben passed everything to Lauren, of course, the girl was so shocked but she still accepted knowing her Dad is not looking good already. So, she spends her time in the company having training and spending her time with her Dad. She instantly became in the media when she modeled for Balenciaga and for Victoria's Secret, a lot of people got shocked because she was a CEO, a 21-year-old girl, AND the daughter of the famous Former CEO of Walton Modeling Agency all over America.

A lot of people tried to win her heart but one person caught Lauren's eyes it was a man named Liam. Mid-January when Liam confessed his true feelings but sadly Lauren turned him down because a lot of people are saying that Liam was just a gold-digger and just want Lauren's body. It was also told by her Dad. So the girl-focused more on her career but another thing is she was surprised that her Mom has a lover already, Leslie introduced the man named Lee Dowon. She said that she met him after 1 year of her divorce from her Dad, Lauren couldn't complain even though they are far away from each other she still looks after her. So, she had no choice but to accept it and accept the fact that she has step-siblings who are really looking forward to meeting the CEO. Of course, being the busy bee Lauren she's just talking to her Mom if she finds a time.

At the age of 22, It was declared that Ben died in his bedroom. Lauren was so sad and Leslie visited wanting to be there for her Daughter. It was so hard for Lauren, she had a vacation in the Bahamas, Amsterdam, and Paris. When she came back, she decided to start some new business. She decided to open a hotel, restaurant, and a music agency wherein it also became at the top 3 best music agencies all over America, she also became a Fashion designer for her agency and the modeling agency really at the top so she decided to start a survival show about modeling. Well, Lauren really is a successful woman that every person wanted to win her heart.

Since her modeling agency is getting famous all over the world a lot of people are begging her to open up an audition for Global. She did that and it went well, 3 persons won wherein they already started working as a model. But now, she was curious about the Country named Korea. She wanted to have a Korean model in her agency so she decided to give it a try. She contacted some agency and to her surprise, there was a lot of it but she got curious about JYP, YG, and SM since they were the first ones who really emailed her she researched about it, and turns out they were the big three music entertainment in Korea she just needs to choose 1 but she decided to choose the 3 of them but also decided to choose some smaller companies.

She told everything to her Mom and Leslie instantly told her to stay in the house, Lauren doesn't want it at first knowing she felt like she doesn't belong to the family but Dowon and Leslie told her that she really belonged to the family and Dowon really treat her as his own daughter. And finally, here she is now facing to face with her Mom, Laurene is really beautiful, tall, has a proportional body a model-like to be exact, a pointy nose and kissable lips, and what makes her most hotter is her jawline.

To be honest, Lauren is half Korean because Leslie is full Korean. "How are you darling?" Leslie asked looking at her daughter "I'm okay Mommy, how about you?" Lauren asked before she drink her tea "I'm okay, the kids are really looking forward to meeting you. Dohyun can't wait to get home later while Daeun is trying her best to make an excuse so she could go home later and meet her" Lauren smiled, Leslie has been telling her that they are really wanting to meet her because they can't believe they have an older sibling.

"How old are they?" Lauren asked, she really doesn't know them that much because she was so busy "Daeun is 19 while Dohyun is 17. They are the kids that you really want to be with whenever you are stressed or you need someone to talk to, they are the sweetest kids you'll ever meet" Lauren smiled "How about Dowon?" "oh, you know that guy. He's the sweetest, he really wants to adopt you but I explained to him that you still need some time and your consent"

Lauren nodded, until now even though it's been 1 year it's still fresh for her but someday soon she's willing to be adopted by him but Ben will always be her best Dad. "Maybe someday soon Mommy, you know I'm still adjusting and it's still fresh. you know how much I treasured Daddy" Leslie smiled sadly and stood up to hug her while Lauren just melted right into it. They continued their conversation about her plans and when is the survival show they stayed on the balcony for 3 hours when Lauren decided to have a rest since she wanted to finally meet the kids and Dowon.

Lauren just came out from the bathroom, she woke up 40 minutes ago and it surprised her that she slept for 4 hours straight, she scrolled to her phone for 1 hour and decided to take a bath when she heard some commotions downstairs. She opened her luggage to find some clothes once she did she wears them and dried her hair as she also combed it. She was about to close her luggage when she saw a small safe box, she took it and she finally realized that her dad left this at his side table before he died with a note saying that to open it because there's something important that Lauren requires to read and there was a key.

Lauren took it slowly and went to the table as she took a seat in the swirling chair, she took out the key in her small purse and took a deep breath before opening "Whatever this is I hope this isn't a jump scare" Lauren said to herself knowing her Dad really likes to pull some pranks. She turned the key and opened it slowly while her eyes is closed a bit but to her surprise, it was a piece of paper. Lauren sigh and took it as she unfolded it. It was a letter.... "

"My Lauren, I know someday soon you will read this since I'm planning to leave this beside my side table before I really vanish. Just so you know my baby, you're my princess, my baby girl, and my best daughter. You don't know how happy I am whenever I see you smiling, laughing, and doing the things that you really like. You don't know how proud I am of you, most especially you're the one managing my company and of course, it's already yours" Lauren smiled as tears threaten to come out from her eyes but continued to read it "To be honest with you, Me and your Mom really had plans when you're at your twenties. I want you to marry the only child of the Jeong. Your Mom and I are really close to them, they are my best friends so is your Mom also. I still love your Mom, to be honest, I really do. It's so hard for me to see her happy with someone else but I need to hold up with my best friends named Chahee and Beum suk, Your Mom and I promised them that someday soon. You have to marry their child it's because I don't want you to pass my wealth with someone who I don't know and also because to keep our bond strong even though I'm dying until now your Mom is close to them and to be honest we talked yesterday telling us about it and they are still looking forward. This is just my wish Honey. I love you so so so much Princess, please have a happy and nice life. Love, Ben your best friend and Dad"

Lauren doesn't know what to say, she doesn't know if she will agree on this specially she doesn't who in the world is Chahee and Beom suk she has no idea who they are because she didn't even meet them or seen them and hasn't told her about them. She also doesn't know if their child is a girl or a boy and what it looked like.

Lauren really had a high standard towards a person when it comes to love, she wants someone who is good-looking, tall, muscular, and very gentlemanly mostly especially kind, and has some respect. She really wants to have kids especially she had a lot of business going and wanted to pass them sooner enough.

But it was her Dad's wish, The Man that he loves so much, that she promised even before he die she will fulfill all his wishes for herself and his. One thing that Lauren really hates about herself is if she will not fulfill something she promised to someone she will literally hate herself for it and she will feel guilty if she didn't do it but should she go for it?...

"Darling" Lauren came back to reality when she heard her Mom's voice Lauren looked at her "Dinner's ready and the kids are downst -- Darling, did you cry?" Leslie instantly went close to her daughter and cup her cheeks "Is there something wrong and bothering you?" The adult asked again Should Lauren tell it already? 'No, Not yet Lauren' Lauren smiled sadly "Can we talk about it later?" Leslie nodded and kissed her forehead, as she held Lauren's hands and pull her downstairs.

Lauren was nervous of course, she's gonna be meeting her Mom's new family, her new husband. Once, Leslie and her reached the dining area Lauren saw that the three of them are gathered in their respective seats probably smiling from ear to ear while they are speaking hangul. Leslie coughed to get their attention as they quickly looked their way, their eyes went wide seeing the tall and gorgeous girl beside their Mom she's like a goddess, Dowon got back to reality "Oh, Lauren. It was finally nice meeting and seeing you personally" Lauren was taken aback, she was surprised Dowon is speaking English she looked at his hand that it was waiting to be shaken so Lauren took it and smiled brightly "It was nice seeing you and meeting you Dowon," Lauren said formally while Dowon smiled "Kid--"

The two kids instantly stood up introducing themselves as Daeun and Dohyun, Lauren cackled knowing they are looking forward to meeting her and looked very excited. Lauren doesn't know what to do since they are speaking together, she doesn't know who to answer first so she just hugged them.

Lauren find it awkward but the two kids became silent, she looked at her Mom and Dowon they were just smiling lovingly at them. But, she was surprised that the two kids hugged her back and buried their faces in her shoulder their grip was tight seemed like they don't want to let go.

Lauren looked back at her Mom again "They felt comfortable towards you" Down mouthed while the girl just nods rubbing their back, After a few minutes the kids pulled out the hug and pulled Lauren in between them asking her some very serious questions about her while Dowon and Leslie are just listening.

They are in the middle of Leslie's story when Daeun asked something that Lauren wasn't familiar with it

"Can I call you 'Unnie'?" Lauren stared at her confused "Can I call you 'Noona'? This time Dohyun curiously asked 'Unnie? Noona?, What in the world is that?' Leslie looked at the two kids waiting for Lauren's answer and looked at Lauren "Uhm, I'm sorry but what does that word mean?" Lauren asked curiously "Unnie is used to females to describe an older and respected female and Noona is used by males to describe an older and respected female"

Lauren nodded in understanding when Daeun told it "So, Can we??" Dohyun asked "Uh kids maybe Lauren is not --" Leslie was cut off by Laurene "No, It's okay. You can call me that no worries. I-I consider you both as my siblings" Lauren said smiling, to be honest, she wanted to have a sibling but sadly her Mom and Dad divorced but still, she's thankful that she has these two kids with her. The two kids smiled and finally came back eating their meals.

Lauren asked about Daeun's career turns out Daeun was in the entertainment where she would judge some models who applied and will be accepted at the survival show and the CEO is requesting her to also judge some contestants for those who auditioned to the ones who wants to become an idol which Lauren gladly accepted it. It was YG. At least, she knows someone will accompany her if she ever gets lost in that huge company.

This time, Lauren also asked about Dohyun's school and soon to be course turns out he wanted to follow in Lauren's footsteps since her mom doesn't stop talking about her business and how the girl become successful like her Dad, he said if he ever had the chance to work in one of her business he will surely do his best to make her proud. Of course, Lauren is proud and promising him someday he will be the one managing one of her businesses of course the boy got so happy and had more motivation to study.

The dinner ended, Lauren has time to talk with her Mom and Dowon while the two kids are having fun playing the PS5 that Lauren bought. Down was currently talking to a client when Lauren decided to bring up the topic of the note that her dad left. "Mommy?" Lauren said looking at Leslie who's scrolling "Yes Dear?" The adult asked, Laurene took a deep breath "Who are Chahee and Beom Suk?" Leslie looked at her quickly while Laurene is waiting for her answer, the girl realized that her Mom was shocked by looking at her Mom reaction

"Where did you know that? How did you?" Lauren handed her the letter while Leslie took it. "Is it true?" Lauren asked while Leslie is reading it she sighed when she closed the letter "It was indeed in our plans of you marrying their child, It was one of our wishes especially your Dad even them. We didn't have the chance to tell it to you when you were at the age of 20 because you were busy and we don't want to interfere at that time" Lauren swallowed thickly she doesn't know what to feel.

"Are you still expecting?" Lauren asked lowly, Leslie lied she doesn't want to lie knowing she also wants to make their bond stronger with the Kims since ever since they were a child they are best friends already. "Yes.." Leslie said, Lauren, sighed heavily "It was your Dad's wish and so do I. To be honest, before he die he talked to me saying that to marry Kim's child quickly. He's looking forward to it and they are also waiting" Leslie said, "C-can I think for it for now?" Lauren asked gripping the table "Can I have an alone time before my wedding?" Leslie couldn't help but smile, surely. Ben would be so happy about it finally fulfilling his wishes for her daughter. Leslie stood up and hugged her tightly "Of course baby. I promise you everything will be okay and Mommy will always be here" Lauren just hugged her tightly burying her head in Leslie's neck.

Jeong Jihye, a 25-year-old girl, Korean girl, is a CEO and runs luxury clothing. She just got back from London and she came back to Korea because she needs to handle her Dad's company. She was a very independent girl, she grew up kind and understanding and she will fulfill and do all her parents wishes

"You have to tell me what's going on Ara," The Blonde girl said "You know if Jihye kept looking at her phone, I'm sure her eyes will sore," Ara said while Megan the blonde girl furrowed her brows "Every halt she always has her phone" Yejun the Korean said "Okay, you gotta tell me what's going on" "Jihye is looking at the picture of the CEO named Lauren Walton" Megan just rolled her eyes when the two of Jihye's friend said that, it's not new for her knowing their best friend Jihye has a huge crush on that model and CEO.

Megan stood up and looked at Jihye and to her phone. She is looking at Lauren's picture which was just posted on Instagram last week "Jih.." she said but the brunette wasn't answering "Jihye!" The blonde girl shouted while the girl jumped "finally" "What?" The girl asked "stop looking at her like a snack" Jihye said sitting beside her "How can't I? I mean she does look like a snack" Megan rolled her eyes and smack her head while Jihye groaned in pain "What was that for??" Before Megan could answer the door opened revealing one of Jihey's bodyguard

"Phone's for you," The bodyguard said handing Jihye the phone while she took it "Jihye is this you?" "Mom? Why are you calling at this hour? Is there something wrong" Jihye asked looking at her phone notifying that Lauren just posted so she smiled "Can you meet me at the cafeteria of the company? I want you to meet someone important" Jihye agreed knowing it might be into business so she quickly changed into her business outfit and asked the girls to continue working without her, she came down seeing her Mom sitting with someone unfamiliar.

"Oh, Jihye!" Her Mom Chahee said "Hey" Jihye said "I want you to meet Mrs. Lee she's my best friend that I'm talking to you every day and Leslie this is my daughter Jihye" Leslie smiled and Jihye shake her hands and sits. "So, why'd you call me?" Jihye asked biting the sandwich " You will be marrying her daughter" Jihye instantly choked on her sandwich and went wide eye "WHAT?!" Jihye screamed

"Dear, Your Voice please," Chahee said

"Mom, this can't be. You know I'm still planning to renew my contract in the Entertainment" Jihye said "But honey, you know this my and your Dad's wish for you and we didn't want to remove our strong bond together. You also told us that you do everything for us and fulfill our wishes. Remember?" Chahee said looking at her daughter who's already remembering and cursing herself already. It was normal for them to have an Arranged Marriage but to be honest, she likes one certain person and it was Lauren.

"Mom, you know my eyes are just for one person already, you know who I want to be arranged with someone who I'm really into right now. You know I'll agree on this if Aunt Leslie is related to that person" Jihye said while Leslie smiled knowing who that person is, Chahee has been telling her Jihye really likes Lauren and wanted to be Arranged with her someday but if there's a chance that she met Lauren personally she will do the old ways like courting that person, making the person fall in love with her. But, faith didn't let her know she really needs to face this "Honey, you know if we get this marriage started soon. You might pee in your pants if you see your bride. Maybe you'll thank us for it" Jihye doesn't know what to say knowing her Mom is just using her sweet words to let her agree.

But this is her parent's wish, she also doesn't want to break it since her parents also gave everything to her. She just sighed maybe Laurene is really not for her. She likes to oblige all her parents wish but when it comes to this kind of things well...there is really a problem "Fine, just tell me when it is so I could clear my schedule" Chahee and Leslie smiled "Thank you so much, Jihye! I will be sending you the details. Now, we need to go since we have a meeting to attend to" Chahee and Leslie stood up as Jennie did also "Smile brightly Jihye" Chahee kissed her Daughter's cheek while Leslie pats her back. Jihye sigh walking back to the company.

"wait, you're telling me that you will get married soon?"

"What!?"

"How did that happen? I mean you just arrived in Korea yesterday and wait, I'm really confused how did that happen?"

Laurene sough she was on a video call with her friends and she instantly blurted out that she will get married soon "Do you all remember the safe box that Dad left on his nightstand before he die?" All her friends hummed "Remember, I didn't open that instantly because I wasn't really in myself for the past months and I drowned myself in my business. I just saw it in my luggage then I decided to open it. There was a note in it" Lauren took a picture of the letter and send it to the Group Chat.

"I see it was your Dad's wish for you even your Mom wants it" Gabbie one of Lauren's employees in her company aside that Gabbie was also her first best friend when she was in middle school "It's very common if you really had business especially your dad named it to you" Mai muttered, She is Lauren's second-best friend when she was also in middle school and now she's studying Law "You know, in that case, you really had no choice but to do it since it was your Dad's wish. I mean, we know you so well you wouldn't break any promises" Elle said while the other girl nodded agreeing.

Lauren's total friends were 4, it's very countable but they were friends since teenagers and they were really the true ones. Elle was also studying Law together with Mai while Gia is currently working as a Professional Doctor. See, by just Lauren's friends they were all successful, and though two of them are still studying. Still, we could all tell that Lauren really is a picky one and has a very high standard.

"Did you agree?" Gia the doctor asked while Lauren rested her chin on the table "I did, I had no choice but to accept it because it was my parents wish, they are your parents that two-person who gave everything to you, love you unconditionally, took care of you and made you a better person. We couldn't just change that by paying their bills, buying their needs, or anything that will be related to money but one thing is for sure you need to fulfill their own wishes" Lauren said sitting back in her swirling chair "You know you still have us until the end right? We will be at your wedding" Lauren smiled and just thank her friends but soon enough they changed the topic wanting to ask how they are doing.

"Jeez, I can't believe you really are the first friend who will be married. That's cool" Ara the girl said "There's nothing cool in it because I really don't know the person" Jihye said sitting on the chair looking at Lauren's picture. Yujin the older one sighs sadly she really knows that Jihye was head over heels to that beautiful CEO while the blonde girl Megan was just looking at her sadly "what are you gonna tell to the media? I mean we all know that you're famous and a lot of girls and guys are trying to win your heart," Ara asked "It depends, I really don't want to talk about it for now "Jihye said nonchalantly "You know, maybe there is a reason why you have an arranged marriage, maybe faith is telling you that Lauren is not for you. Maybe, that person will be the perfect one for you and who will take care of you and love you forever" Yujin said hugging Jihye.

Jihye just nodded sadly she really is hoping that maybe one day she will meet Lauren even before her wedding, she was just really head over heels to Lauren, she has been crushing on her for almost 3 years it was the time when Lauren was seen in the media and got famous. Lauren is just so different. With that, her day continued by just doing some hard dancing to forget it for the meantime, she will not take breaks, still looking at Lauren's picture and going back to dancing since it was her passion.

"Hey Suzy, how's the company going?" Lauren asks getting out of her room and making her way to the balcony where Dowon was with Dohyun's dog named Kiki. Laurene smiled at them as Dowon waved at her.

"The company is going well Ms. Walton, we're already preparing the paper that you need before the audition starts. We might be able to send this in four hours. Is that okay?"

"Yes please, but can you try to move the date of the submission of the audition? I'm dealing with something right now" Lauren said patting Kiki's head who's sniffing her feet .

"Oh sure ms. Is that important? You sound so problematic by it. Is everything okay?"

Lauren smiled she really admire all of her workers since they all care for her, especially Megan she was her secretary for two years now and she was there for her whenever she has some problems, problems in the company and sometimes Suzy talks about her personal life.

They become close because they have the same taste at everything, Lauren really found Megan so positive even though she is just living all by herself since her parents died due to a bad accident when she was eighteen. Lauren felt sad since she really witness how Suzy's life is. Lauren couldn't trust her at first but as time goes by Suzy really could be trusted so she decided to make her personal assistant and the manager of her modeling agency.

"I'm gonna be married soon"

"WHAT?!" Suzy shouted to the phone causing Laurene to remove the phone from her ears "Jeeez, your voice"

"I'm sorry, but how?" Lauren sigh and told everything to her, Suzy also explained that it was really her Dad's wish because one time Suzy took care of her Dad and he wouldn't stop talking about Lauren getting married to the Jeung's children. Suzy was also shocked by it but told her to just calm down and maybe someday she will be free in that marriage.

"I don't know especially it was my Dad and Mom's wish, I might be tied to that person forever" Lauren sighs heavily.

"Make sense, but just so you know Boss maybe that person is really kind and really is for you. You just need to have high hopes" Suzy said she might have an idea who that person is since she's also from Korea and met a lot of businessman and woman and their children whenever Laurene send her to attend the press conference.

"Should the media know about this?" Suzy asked again

"I don't know, I need to ask Mom but I think it's better if we keep it a secret. I'm really not ready for this" Suzy hummed agreeing. Lauren ended the call and even told her that she should be at her wedding to calm her nerves down. Lauren looked at the view again.

"Are you nervous?" Dowon asked Leslie's daughter, Dowon offered the chair for her to sit down while Lauren gladly did.

"Yes, I really didn't expect that this was one of my Dad's wishes. I thought I will meet the man of my dreams someday but ended up being arranged to the person who I don't even know" Lauren said sighing, Dowon wanted to hug Lauren but the girl might not accept since he just met her today.

"You know, maybe that person really is for you, maybe he will prove one day that he was so in love with you that he will try his best to win your heart. You just need to remember that whatever happens in that marriage you always know where to go, for sure in your Mom's arm but please remember I'm always here for you. I know everything is still fresh from you but to be honest I already see you as my own daughter already. You don't know how proud I am of you" Lauren smiled

"Your Mom always tells me that you are such an amazing girl and very lovable which I agree but just so you know, I talked to your father once" Dowon said looking at Lauren as she widened her eyes

"Really?" Lauren asked happily as Dowon nodded

"He told me that if ever this marriage happens I need to walk you in the aisle and stand up for you as your own Dad which I instantly agreed and promised him that I will do anything because you are the first child of my wife. You had her blood and your features" Lauren couldn't help but smile finally there's another Man that who will stand up for her.

She realized that it's hard not to have a Man beside her especially since her Mom is living overseas. It's hard to do the things that a man should do, a Man should handle, A man's love and a man's attention all she needs is a Dad. But, here she is now she met her Mom's new husband who's really to adopt her someday soon if she is ready.

"Thank you" Lauren said smiling "C-can I ask you something?" Lauren asked,

"What is it?"

"Can you hug me?" Lauren said closing her eyes.

Meanwhile, Dowon was surprised he was jumping in happiness in his mind and finally he will finally hug her wife's first daughter. Dowon open her arms as Laurene open her eyes she was surprised to see that Dowon's arms are open so the adult nodded as Laurene came close to hug her.

"Finally," she said to her mind "You will be safe here, I promise," Dowon said rubbing Lauren's back.

Meanwhile, Leslie is smiling since she heard the conversation between the two. She was just thankful that Dowon is like a real father material and really has an attitude like Ben. She's also just thankful that Lauren is already feeling comfort towards him and finally asking for hugs which Laurene really likes.

Suzy was on her way to Gangnam to meet one of Lauren's lawyers and Engineer in Korea. She arrived two hours ago since Laurene told her she needs helps to fix some papers. Suzy parked the car and went to the lawyer's office. She knocked on the door which she heard a voice to tell her to come in

"Suzy!" Suzy smiled and gave the lawyer a hug "Hey, Melaine how are you doing?" Suzy said sitting down

"I'm doing okay, How's Laurene? I heard the news that she will be married soon?" Suzy furrowed her brows

"How'd you know?"

"Aunt Leslie came to visit me yesterday and asked me to make the marriage contract." Suzy nodded she realized that Melaine also worked as Lauren's lawyer in her company does she mentally kick herself "I can't believe she's gonna be marrying Jihye one of my sister's best friend"

"Oh really? I thought she will be marrying Kai" Melaine shakes her head and handed her the contract

"It was supposed to be but remember he already had a son and a wife. You do know how Jihye is whipped to Lauren?" Melaine asked sitting back in the chair

"Oh really?" 'Jeez, why didn't I know this information' Suzy asked in her mind

"Does Jihye know that she will be married to Lauren?" Suzy asked

"No, her parents wanted to surprise her since they know how Jihye really likes Lauren" Suzy nodded

"Here, tell Lauren that I will see her at her wedding I have a lot of work to do in the upcoming days"

"Okay, I'll tell her that. I'll see you soon?" Suzy asked as Melaine nodded in agreement. She left and went straight to the Engineers' office.

Lauren was currently shopping with her Mom and Dohyun, Dowon is in the Parking lot since one of his clients called. Lauren is currently is looking for some clothes for Daeun. Since she was handling the brand called Balenciaga she decided to buy her sister some shoes and some hoodies since winter is coming.

Lauren was paying at the counter while her head is lowered. She really doesn't want to get recognized, the cashier girl handed her the change and Lauren quickly said thank you and left. She spotted Leslie, Dowon, and Dohyun who's currently buying some suits for her soon-to-be wedding.

She sighs "It really is happening"

It was already confirmed that the wedding will be in 3 days, It was quick because Leslie was really excited and her soon-to-be spouse's parents. At least, she will have her alone time for two more days. Lauren came close to them looking at some suits

"Darling, Is this fine?" Leslie asked her Daughter while the girl looked around seeing Dowon in his suit. Lauren smiled and fixed the necktie

"It looks good but I prefer if the suit is dark blue" Dowon nodded in agreement as her Mom gathered some dark blue suits.

Lauren decided to be alone on this night, she was on a rooftop of a building that she was familiar with. She has some beer and wine for herself. She's really thinking hard about why her life should be like this more on like why can't she just be best friend with her soon to be spouse, she knows friendship wouldn't break that easily. But, faith didn't let her be, she needs to marry that person and she has to because it was her only Man's wish. Lauren drink the beer in one sitting but ended up cursing how bad it taste. She opened the wine and drink it in the bottle while there are tears forming in her eyes.

"Noona" Lauren jumped a bit but relaxed when she saw her step-brother looking at her worriedly she wiped her tears

"What are you doing here? How did you know that I'm here?" She asked as she also motioned him to sit beside her, Dohyun handed his handkerchief before he sits beside her sister

"I was looking at you on the way home and you were sad, don't have any energy. When we got home I saw you left so I decided to follow you because I got worried" Lauren nodded

"How'd you get in here? she asked knowing the place is a bit far from home.

"I used my bicycle. I managed to come here by just using my bicycle" Lauren chuckled as Dohyun smiled "What's in you remind Noona?"

He asked curiously "Oh, you know adult things. Most likely how in the world would I start my life again especially I'm getting married to a person who I don't even know" Lauren said tears coming down from her eyes but wiping them quickly using Dohyun's handkerchief. Dohyun smiled sadly.

"You know, I thought I'll be here just because of the auditions and the survival show but I think Dad also bought me here because he has really a plan for me to get married to a person who I don't even know, start my new life here. I don't even know if I should be upset at them. I just want to live happily. I want to find my own love but they didn't even get the chance" Lauren said while sobbing.

Of course, she has mixed emotions. Even though it was her Dad she doesn't;t know if she should be mad or be disappointed in him.

"But I love my parents, I love Dad, I love Mom. I love them both, I still couldn't get over to the chance to explore new things, what love really feels like, I don't even know if that person will be goo, I don't know if I will really feel love towards that person, I want everything to be true, I really want someone who really wants to grow old with me, someone who's head over heels towards me. Someone who wants to have a family with me, Someone who will take care of me"

Dohyun hugged her tightly Lauren buried her face in Dohyun's shirt while still sobbing.

He realized what her sister is saying, she might be thinking that the person wouldn't love her, wouldn't take care of her like she's a Gem, Wouldn't protect her at all costs, and wouldn't have the spark at each other. All her sister wanted is to have someone who is true to her someone who's really sure that the person will love her nonstop and doesn't want to happen to her father and mother, she wants to have her own happy family. He understands her, It's not like she doesn't want to marry the person is just that her sister just wants some real love because he realized that her life was all about business.

"Nonna, whoever that man is I'm sure someday he will love you, he will learn to love you, learn to love each other, love needs patience, effort, and making each other comfortable. Both of you need to work for it, to know each other more. I know being in an Arranged Marriage is hard but I guess Uncle Ben is showing what your future will be like, she is your father maybe you're on the right path following that and because Mom is also there, also wants that you could trust them or it because they were the ones who choose it they know it will be good for yourself and for your future. You know Nonna, you just have to think that if this person hurt me I will surely need to call my little brother named Dohyun and he will surely kick that man ass off" Lauren couldn't help but giggle while Dohyun is laughing.

"but seriously Nonna, you just need to trust your parents for this don't do this because it was their wish but do and think that it was from you own good and future. It might be hard to think at first but once you get used to it and know that person really well you will just thank Uncle Ben and Mom" Dohyun rubbed her sister's back.

Lauren on the other couldn't help but be thankful that her brother understand her situation. He was good in his own words like her Mom, I mean their Mom. She pulled from the hug and looked at him "Where did you get that words? Are you like in love?"

Lauren pinch his cheeks cutely causing Dohyun to chuckle and shake his head "Mom told me that I should be good in words and thinking like you. Most especially, I'm following your footsteps you want someone who is really professional and good thinking. But, also she reminded me that I should not just use it for business I also need to use it if someone is struggling with something more probably has a lot of problems in life, wanting to end their life. I also learned that whatever you have or someone gave it you just need to be thankful for it even though it turned bad or good" Lauren smiled, Dohyun was a smart and kind boy. she remembered how her Mom teach her to utter a few good words when she was still a baby and now she managed to make someone grow in a kind and smart way.

"Thank you. It was a really big help. You know someday soon I will really need an employee like you" Dohyun smiled and nodded while Lauren drank the wine "But, Nonna when you get married. You wouldn't leave the country yet right?" Dohyun asked while Lauren stopped to drink "You'll stay right?"

Lauren felt that Dohyun was finding an older one to give him some attention because Daeun was busy being an idol and she couldn't look out for him and talk to him. She remembered her conversation with her Mom that Dohyun spends his time alone in his room because he needs to do his homework, he used to be alone in school because he's a quiet guy. he has a best friend but he was from Daegu, he wants someone who will be there for him more on like her sister because he was a family-oriented like Dowon.

Leslie also told that Dohyun was so happy that he knew that she has an older sister which is Lauren. Lauren hugged Dohyun, she also felt this to Daeun knowing her Mom and Dowon are busy sometimes because they are at work they don't have any company sometimes.

"I'm gonna be staying, I'll be there for you and Daeun whatever it takes. You both have me now. You don't have to worry" Dohyun hugged her tightly "Even though you will get married? Lauren smiled "I promise I will be here forever" Dohyun sighed and closed his eyes. Laurene was just hoping that her future husband will be close to her family and love her like her dad loved Leslie.

'I can live with this, I still have a family' Lauren said to her mind

Lauren was currently signing some papers in her room, she had just come home since she drop Dohyun at his university while she decided to have brunch with Daeun near their company. Tomorrow is her wedding day and here she is now planning how in the world would she manage her company now that she's gonna get married soon to a stranger.

Leslie knock on her door and Lauren just told her to come in as Leslie did "Here's some tea for you. Your wedding dress should be here tonight, do you want to meet your makeup artist?" Lauren looked at her Mom who sat in her bed but smiled "Can you just surprise me?" Lauren asked causing her Mom to nod happily "Baby, I know is hard to sink in right now. But, I just want you to know that this is also for you, for us, and for your future" Lauren nodded remembering what her brother told her.

Lauren already know that she will be married to a girl when she knew that she really wanted to back out, she's not into girls since like she said she wanted to have some kids in the future. But, Beom suk explained to her about her daughter's situation but still... She had a conversation with her Mom privately. She came back to reality when she remembered what her dad told her, love is love. She could love any gender that she likes whatever it takes. Lauren just slides it off, besides maybe it really her future to be married of the same gender.

"I know, I'm just thinking how will I manage the company now that I'm gonna be married especially she's an idol" Leslie nodded also thinking a way on how will she really handle everything all her business was in Los Angeles "We will think about that after your wedding alright? You don't have to worry all of Jennie's circle of friends are good and besides they are just the ones who will attend your wedding" Lauren nodded while looking at her Mom.

She just needs one thing she wishes for this arranged marriage she wants it closed doors, no reception just straight to vows. She doesn't want it to know to media and also it was also her spouse safety coming to know that Jihye is a freaking famous CEO and she doesn't want to break everything yet because she will be in an arranged marriage.

Leslie and Chahee helped Lauren planning about her business and talk about the plans. They just decided to talk about it today since both Beom Suk and Chahee came. Lauren told them that right after the wedding she will be leaving because Suzy just contacted her that she needs to interview some new interns, new employees a lot of clients waiting and meetings. Which both adults nodded in agreement. Besides, Jihye for sure will understand her.

They decided that Lauren will probably visit L.A. if she has some important things to do. Besides, she has a lot of workers she will be having a really big meeting assigning some new workers managing this and that because she knew to herself that she will be spending a lot more time in Korea since first of all, she will be handling some auditions in five companies and doing a survival show that it will take for more than 6 months and after that, she will come back to L.A. to be trained by some professionals.

But little did Lauren know her Mom Leslie has a big surprise for her, they are currently on their way to their big surprise. Suzy was beside Lauren who's currently looking at the window she was confused because there are two familiar cars in front of them and behind them "Where exactly are we going?" Lauren asked Suzy but looking at her Mom and Dowon "You'll see boss" Suzy winked that she can't contain her own happiness. The girl just went silent really thinking where the hell is they going.

"What is this place? Woah it's cool" Lauren was amazed at how big the building is. She saw some busy people on their phones, reading some files, running because they are late for their work or busy with their phones. She also saw that their attire was very expensive. Good thing she wears her luxury business attire.

"Now, we have arrived" Lauren furrowed her brows when Dowon stopped the car "Where?" The unknown girl asked "397-5 Hapjeong-dong,

Mapo-gu, Seoul, South Korea" Lauren's brows were furrowed and blinking many times she was confused, her Mom came out from the car gesturing one of Laurene's bodyguards to open the car door for her.

"Miss Walton, You may come out" Lauren looked at the Man "William?" Lauren asked confusedly "What in the world are you doing here?" Lauren said getting out of the car as Suzy is fixing her attire "Romel? Aren't you guys supposed to be at Los Angeles?" The girl asked but she saw four more of her professional bodyguards coming out from the car. She asked her Mom what's going on but she managed to shut up when she saw the freaking huge building.

It was luxury, just like what she wanted and what she dreamed of it to look like. A lot of people were in the staircase, they were non-Korean and mostly also it was her employees in Los Angeles. But there are new workers and they are Koreans. There are a total of six bodyguards and Lauren was surrounded by them this was just like the feeling when she was opening her own business and the video that she watched when her Dad opened his modeling agency. Suzy was beside her calming her down because she could feel that Lauren was sweating and nervous.

The bodyguards started and Lauren started walking with them, she knows what to do. She's the CEO and she knows everything. Once they stepped into the staircase all of the workers are bowing for the respect they stopped when they are at the entrance. William and Romel opened the entrance and Lauren gasped at how huge it is, but she realized that this is what she wanted for her new building, she remembered she drew this, and with that she got confused more.

They walked inside still in that kind of position, she also saw the familiar faces the CEOs she signed with also bowing at her once they reached the very front there was a picture of her Dad and her. There were a lot of chairs and there was a big tv screen.

Laurene sat in the front as Suzy sat beside her. The video played and to her surprise, it was a picture of her and Ben, Lauren smiled. It was a video wherein she is still a baby and now a full grow up girl. Ben explains how she became successful and how proud he is. Lauren couldn't help but tear up Suzy handed her the tissue.

"The building that you are in right now my lovely daughter. Is for you, The building that you are stepping in right is yours which we named Walton's Entertainment and Modeling Agency. I stole your design that you were making for almost a month and the digital art that you made on your laptop. I secretly decided to center that in South Korea, knowing your spouse is from that country. If you drive for 20 minutes more you will see your spouse's company. But, this is my last gift for you. The building that you've been really dreaming of. Now that it's built please make someone be a star and mentor them. I love you so much sweetheart" The video ended and everyone is clapping their hands while Lauren is crying, she couldn't believe that even though her Dad is too sick he still managed to do this for her. She was supposed to build this in New York but to her surprise, it was in Korea already but she doesn't mind at all right now.

"This was built by my Dad," she said to herself.

Her Mom hugged her tightly and Dowon is rubbing her back. Lauren was sniffing non-stop and Leslie is telling her that everything will be fine and just enjoy her work more often. She pulled out the hug and Lauren smiled when her Mom is wiping her tears happily. Lauren's friends also arrived still with their luggage and she laughed because they look so cute. They give them a hug and talked to them a bit.

Finally "Miss. Walton" The CEO of YG said Lauren smiled "Mr. Yang" she took his hand for a handshake and pulled out she just talked to the CEO of the two entertainments and this is the last person that she needs to talk to "Congratulations"

"Thank you very much, I believe you are Daeun's boss?" Laurene asked grabbing some champagne to the waitress "Yes and your soon-to-be wife's Personal Assistant when it come o her modeling Agency" Lauren nodded and told him that the audition will be moved 1 month after the wedding.

"Is there anything I need to know handling a CEO when it comes to marriage?" Laurene asked Yang laughed "you know nothing is different. Jihye is such a good girl but really don't mind especially Jihye's back from the country she will probably be more focused on you, Her Mom told me she could do whatever they want and be married whenever she like. It's gonna be her decision if she wants to make it public and show you to the media. But her parents told be that they need to do this because of their wishes. You can also go with her whenever she had some schedules and things to finish" Lauren nodded telling Yang to continue "But, Jihye is really bold you might fall in love with her instantly" Lauren nodded but just blushed"So, I don't have any problem to deal with?" She asked

"No, just be the wife material," Yang said causing him to laugh when Laurene just shake her head in disbelief while smiling. She just can't believe that she will be married to a Co - CEO.

The day has continued, Lauren gave herself a tour of the building to check if everything is doing okay, the elevators are working and the important rooms that she needs in the building to her surprise it was all complete and ready to go. They ended their day with a happy face. Lauren decided to go with her friends to have dinner and have a bit of a drink beside Daeun's dorm with her members.

Besides, the church will be a bit close and Lauren decided to just stay there so she doesn't have to use the car.

"So, your wedding will be tomorrow. How are you feeling?" Gabbie asked, Lauren just shrugged her shoulders while drinking her wine straight and pour another one. Even though her brother was there to advise her she still couldn't feel anything as of now. She likes she just wants to walk away and never come back.

"You know, you can just back out if you really don't want to. I mean, they are like controlling your life but -" Ellie was cut off by Lauren "No, I need to. Regret will be in me forever if I didn't, the company that I have right now here in Korea was built by my Dad he manage to steal my design because it was his gift for me. To be honest, I really want to back out. I want to just go back to Los Angeles but I can't know I'm trapped here already" Her friends sighed and nodded slightly they could feel Lauren's sadness

"You know whatever happens we will always be there for you, even though you know you're marrying an idol I know no one's gonna stop us from seeing you. But I just want to remind you that, even though you're married nothing's gonna change because your surname just changed not your life well your life will change if you both fall in love with each other, make a family that wouldn't be a problem with us, to be honest. It's really a good thing" Mai said assuring Lauren, she was a big pop fan and she knows how crazy in love is Jihye to her it was all over in the media every time Jihye will be having an interview with something.

Lauren doesn't know about it because she wasn't really looking at it and is not into pop so she doesn't know what's happening in the world, whoever is crushing on her and doesn't know someone really admires her. But going back, Lauren just noted that in her mind. Maybe, that girl will be really her future, maybe she really is the one.

The night was full of advice and sweetness well even though it was arranged they are congratulating her because it's still her wedding day right?

On the other hand, Jihye was just looking at Lauren's picture while her members are drinking some wine. The girls are very excited since Megan told them who will be Jihye's spouse, Megan knew about this because her sister was Melaine the lawyer. She was the one who handled the marriage contract her sister just plead with her not to tell anything to Jihye because her parents wanted to surprise her.

"Can I just run away?" Jihye asked looking at Lauren's picture and drinking her wine "Can I just find the girl of my dream and never come back in here? I just want to be with her and I never want to let her go" She said the three girls just shakes their heads.

"Jih, don't overthink about this okay? Just be ready for tomorrow and finish everything. You know maybe you could divorce her right after the wedding and you can leave and find your Lauren" Yujin joked, of course, it is a joke. Jihye wouldn't do that if she knew she will be married to her long-time crush.

"Just go for it Jih, We don't know but maybe Lauren is already married secretly and has her own family" Ara joke and regret it instantly when Jihye threw her some daggers "Oh yeah right Imma shut up before you kill me" Jihye really doesn't want to think about that knowing Laurene is a famous CEO there must be really had a high chance that Laurene is indeed married.

"You know, whatever happens, tomorrow just accept it. I mean, it's here and you really can't run away from it knowing a lot of people will probably be there and support you with your marriage. Whoever that person is I know someday you will love her or maybe just love your parents more because they arranged you with someone you really like and love" Megan mumbled the last one causing Jennie to just shake her head.

"Whatever happens, My love for Lauren wouldn't change. She will be mine whatever it takes and no one would stop me. Even though I get married my love towards Laurene will not fade even though Mrs. Leslie's daughter is deadly in love with me, I will forever be in love with my crush" Jihye said causing her friends to shake their heads her friends were really happy for her knowing she is indeed in love with her future wife Lauren.

It was officially the wedding day, the church and the priest were already ready with everything. Dohyun and Daeun were already in their places since they wanted to admire their sister.

Lauren was looking at herself in the mirror, she looks like a princess, her wedding gown was so expensive that it was designed by her Mom and Chaerin, and even paid for it. Lauren was like a goddess, when you see her you just want to make her yours instantly.

"Baby, Are you ready?" Leslie asked while coming to the room "Wow, you look so beautiful, honey. Look at you, you're like a princess. Our princess" Leslie said looking at her daughter, she looked at Lauren and sighed.

"Baby, always remember nothing will change okay? I will always be here for you" Lauren nodded trying not to tear up, Dowon showed up and smiled at her "You look stunning" He said causing Laurene to smile and give him a hug "Shall we go?" He asked, Laurene, nodded and clung to him while Leslie looked at them lovingly.

Meanwhile, Jihye was just standing lazily not really minding that the wedding will start. She really doesn't have any mood to as of now she wants to go home and sleep but her friends told her to stand up straight and be the Jeong Jihye she is. Jihye just scoffed at them but she realized that there were cameras. She quickly stands up straight and be herself, she doesn't want to think that she's not respecting everything.

The door of the church opened, The guests stood up. Jihye was curious so she decided to take a look at her bride. She really don't see it clearly but once the bride was getting closer her face was getting more familiar.

By just the height, the hair, the body, and the hands that she was really turned on she have high hopes that this is Lauren. Once the bride is just three meters away from her. Her heart started beating faster, her breath hitched, she instantly felt butterflies in her stomach when she saw who it is.

'It's her, I'm marrying my crush' Jihye doesn't know but a tear was left to her eyes and once Laurene was close to her she couldn't contain her happiness, she was so gorgeous, perfect and she really is the girl that she wants to marry for the very start.

Jihye bowed to Dowon and Leslie for respect as Leslie gave a kiss on Jihye's cheek while she shake Dowon's hand, she took her hand out for Lauren to take. Lauren looked at her Mom and Dowon and they nodded and smiled, she sighs she looked at Jihye and smiled a bit causing Jihye's heart to beat faster, she took Jihye's hand.

'It was soft as I imagined' Jihye said to her mind as they went to the altar. Her friends couldn't wipe the smiles on their faces they felt that Jihye is indeed happy and wanted to shout in the whole world that she's marrying her crush.

Lauren, on the other hand, doesn't know what to feel, but to be honest, when she saw Jihye her heart skips a beat and she found Jihye hot, she is just like she found the ideal guy for her but a girl version. She has the look, the height that she wants, the body, and everything. She just doesn't know if Jihye is the kind and loving girl she shows to her fans.

She really searched Jihye on the internet she finds her beautiful in the first place but she realized she is more beautiful in person. Should she thank them for it? Or not yet? We don't know right? Lauren doesn't really know how this person would really treat her.

The wedding is already starting and they are exchanging their vows.

"I, Jeung Jihye, take you Laurene Walton to be my wife to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do us apart...I love you" Jihye mumbled the last part while looking at Lauren straight in the eyes while the ring is being already in her left hand in her ring finger.

Laurene took Jihye's left hand, looking at the ring that there was her name in it. She sighed 'This is it'

"I, Laurene Walton, take you Jeung Jihye to be my wife to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, too and to cherish; from this day forward until death does us apart," Lauren said trying not to shake up, she was nervous.

The priest pronouns that they are officially married, of course, the kiss was on the lips and Jihye almost die on the spot, it was memorable for her while Lauren just felt like it was the right thing to do and she even think that her lips taste delicious.

Laurene is now officially a Jeung, her friends congratulated her, Chahee and Beom suk welcomed her to the family while Jihye was also welcomed by Leslie and Chahee she was also surprised that her sister-in-law is Daeun her bias and also an id, and also met Dohyun that she promised she will take care of Lauren and she also met Lauren's circle of friends, even Suzy.

Lauren met her wife's members. Lauren was very shocked at how gorgeous they were, the girls kept telling her that Jihye will take care of her really well because if she didn't they will surely kill Jihye if not, she even met Jihye 's brother named Kai, his wife Krystal and their child named Junwa. Lauren was welcomed into the family and she felt like this is a good sign. Lauren just laugh and slides it off when Jihye's family members told her they will kick Jihye's ass if she didn't take care of her since this is the beginning and she doesn't know if Jihye is gonna be the wife material that she is and will truly love her unconditionally.

It was time for the wedding picture of course the first one was just Jihye and Lauren. It was just like a normal wedding picture of the two of them which has so many angles and the next one is with Jihye's family first, Jihye even took Junwa in her arms while Lauren just smiled brightly, because she has to right? The next one is in Lauren's family of course. And the last one is with Jenni's members with a lot of takes and lastly Lauren's friends with Suzy and Melaine.

Since there is no reception they all went straight to the place where Lauren stayed. Lauren was in the room she just removed her wedding gown while her bodyguard and Suzy is piling up the gifts that her friends bought for her even Jihye's members. She could hear some commotions downstairs they believe it was Mai and Jihye's friends because they were jamming in one of their favorite kpop songs since Mai is a big kpop fan.

Lauren's bodyguards left and the girl was left with Suzy who sat beside Lauren and looked at her "What should I call you now? Mrs. Jeung or still Ms. Walton?" She joked causing Lauren to laugh and shake her head

"As long I want to be called Ms. Walton, you might need to change that. It's very disrespectful if all of my employees didn't especially one of my employees are coming from Jihye's parents. They might throw daggers at me when they knew that you weren't calling me Mrs. Kim" Lauren said and Suzy laughed as Lauren sighed.

"How are you feeling? Are you okay?" Suzy asked looking at her boss "To be honest with you, I don't feel anything as of the moment. I just want to thank God for now since the wedding was finished and I'm married to someone who I really didn't know. As of now, I just want to think she's like my partner in crime or something"

Suzy nodded, she already knew what are Jihye's plans Alice told her before the wedding since they heard Jihye talking about Lauren last night in a drunk way that she will truly take care of her and love her unconditionally in case she really got married to Lauren.

Well not that it happened, Jihye couldn't be more thankful and she was thanking her parents nonstop.

"Everything will be okay, I know Jihye is a good person. You wanna know something?" Suzy asked Lauren "I really have a huge secret" Lauren furrowed her brows and told her to continue "I had a one night stand with one of her friends" Laurene gasped in shock as Suzy is nodding at her "but be quiet, she doesn't know that I'm the one who she had when she was so drunk" Lauren shake her head and chuckled "I can't believe my secretary is going to some bars and have a freakin hard drink and do some one night stand" Suzy laugh and shake her head.
