My Boss Is My Brother?!

Beginning

"Selena thank you for helping Yelena to bake. This means a lot to her, because she had been requesting to bake for some time now, however she doesn't have anyone to bake with her. So, thank you so much." And then he gently squeezed my palm and before I became fragile 2.0 and told Kenzo that he can call me anytime to help Yelena bake, I immediately took my hand back if he was holding it. He was even surprised that I did well and he didn't say anything.

"I'm going to go see him in the kitchen." I said with my heart beating fast and then I quickly left Yelena's room.

"Selena?" Yelena's eyes widened when she saw me enter the kitchen. He has also changed his clothes, now he is wearing PJ's which are my design Garfield.

"What are you doing here?" He still asked me in surprise. Since his reaction is surprising, does that mean he's not mad at me anymore? I continued walking until I got close to him, Clara was with him again who was busy on her phone and looked like she was watching a cooking show because I could hear what she was saying while Aling Saling was busy browsing cooking books.

"Ate Clara and Aling Saling are trying to find out how to bake, so they can help me bake cupcakes." Clara said excitedly. I nodded.

"However, they have been checking it for some time now but they don't know which video and receipt to follow." Yelena said angrily, I couldn't help but smile and then I hit her head.

"I'm here to help you ... I mean help all of you." But I'm really more prepared for Clara and Aling Saling to leave. I don't need them here.

"Wow! That's perfect!" Yelena said excitedly and then she stood up from the high chair she was sitting on, that's why I immediately grabbed her both waists in case she fell. And then he hugged me around my neck.

I'm really excited to bake, we just didn't know where to start. So, thank you because you came back to help us Selena!" I was even surprised when he suddenly kissed me on the lips, my cheeks were wet from his kiss so I just laughed. So, Clara and Aling Saling stopped browsing the phone and recipe book and I just asked them to get the ingredients and equipment that Yelena and I need for baking.

"Aling Saling..." I called the old lady when I noticed they had got all the ingredients and materials we needed for baking. She turned around immediately.

"Everything is okay. Yelena and I can manage from here. You can leave us now. Thank you. I told him coldly. He nodded and then asked Clara to leave the kitchen to do some other work in the mansion.

I even noticed that Clara turned around before they finally left the kitchen but I just let it go.

"Which do you prefer Vanilla or Chocolate cupcakes?" I asked Yelena. He placed one of his beds under his chin and then he thought.

"Chocolate!" He said energetically. Just as I expected, he chose the chocolate flavor.

"Alright then, so the first thing we have to do is combine the butter and sugar. Can you help me mix the butter and sugar?" I asked him while I was fixing the mixer.

"Sureee! I'll be glad to help you." Yelena answered and then she took the butter that Aling Saling had already put in the bowl. So, just drop it in the mixer.

"Let's use this, to make it easier." And then I handed the rubber scraper to Yelena while I held the bowl of my only butter. Then I let him add sugar since it's light and easy.

"And this is how you turn on the mixer." I'm holding Yelena's hand so I can help her turn on the mixer. The next thing we did was when the butter was melted in the mixer and mixed with the sugar, I asked him to put the egss that was in the bowl then the vanilla that I had already measured how much.

It was obvious how happy Yelena was while we were mixing the ingredients because she was watching the mixer mixing the ingredients and she was telling me what was going on, I just shook my head and laughed at the same time. Until this is the most exciting part.

"Okay, next we're going to put the ingredients we mixed into the muffin tin."

"I want to do it Selena, please."

"Of course, you will." And then I handed him the icing bag that I put the cupcake mixture in to make it easier, because if he uses a scooper, he might not be able to handle it properly and it will be messy.

It just took us a little while, you know this is Yelena's first time and then my times she was still playing games.

"What's up? Are you waiting for someone to come?" Yelena asked me, looking like she had noticed you a few times, glancing at me from earlier in the kitchen entrance. I turned to him and before I could speak he added.

"Are you expecting Kenzo - I mean Dad to go here and check us?" My forehead furrowed when I heard this boy and then I held my breath.

"So, it's now first name basis? You don't have a call sign anymore and even Kenzo isn't exempt?" Yelena frowned.

"What I meant to say is Dad, its technically your fault Selena. You're the one who keeps on saying Dad's name so I call him Kenzo too without noticing it instead of Dad." He told me that the witch boy seemed to be the one who stressed me out based on his heavy breathing.

"Wow! So it's still my fault now? Eh, why should I call Kenzo Daddy too, like that?" I answered him annoyed.

"You can be my sugar baby, Selena if you prepare to call me Daddy instead of my name." My eyes widened when I suddenly spoke from behind me and I looked at Kenzo, leaning against my kitchen entrance and then smiling at me.

That smirk that says he caught me in a crime that I didn't commit, but I'm still the strong suspect because the confession to the crime came from my mouth. Sigh.

Chapter 1

"What did you do here?" I asked Kenzo rudely. Of course, that was my front to cover up my embarrassment. Sugar baby? Call him Daddy too?! Shut up! Maybe I can't tame him and do what he wants! What?! What did I just say?! *Erase* *Erase* Miss Author just made a typo. Sigh.

"We don't need you here, so you can leave." I added more and then took the cup cakes from the oven. And because I lost myself, I forgot to use the oven mitt. I just took the muffin tin directly with my hand.

"OUCH!" I immediately complained and then I let go of the muffin tin, luckily I just touched the edge of the muffin tin so he just lifted up, good thing he didn't spill.

"What happened Selena?" Yelena asked me worriedly and then she approached me, Kenzo immediately followed her. I didn't pay attention to him because I was busy blowing my hand which was burnt but it had no effect.

"Oh, why didn't you use this?" Yelena asked me a question and then she touched the over mitt.

"I forgot." I was lost in my own answer to him while talking eye to eye with Kenzo. Kenzo smirked at me. Why! What is that for? So, why is he so happy that I got burned?! Shut up that guy! And then he turned his back on me, I even thought he was going to leave Yelena and me, just in case he went to the fridge and then got some ice.

He also took an ice pack from one of the drawers, then he put the ice on it. I stood up and was about to go to my sink to wash my hands just in case Kenzo had already returned to where Yelena and I were standing.

"Where are you going?" Kenzo asked me.

"I'll probably wash my hands." And I was about to walk away when he held one of my elbows so I stopped where I was standing and then he said -

"This is the right way to treat your burned skin." And then he stuck the ice pack he was holding to the burned finger. I was going to get sick but the pain I feel in my burned hand is slowly disappearing so I just stopped where I was standing.

My only plan is to just look at my hand that Kenzo is treating and when I'm okay I'll take that hand back if he's holding it and then I'll go out of my way to thank him but I'll also counter and say that, I can do it that and he doesn't need to help me.

I won't look at his face because maybe I'll have a weakness that I'll regret later too -

"Why do you tend to do things that you knew will end up hurting you?" Kenzo asked me that's why I slowly looked up at him. We both stared at each other for a while until I couldn't stop it anymore.

"I don't know. Maybe it's my sadistic nature that's why I'm like this or maybe I'm just being stupid." I said rudely to him and then I looked back at my hand that he was treating. I didn't feel the pain anymore, that's why little by little, if I took my hand back from his grip, just in case, his actions also became fast and he held our hands.

My eyes widened in shock.

"What the hell are you doing?" I was annoyed if I asked him more and then I tried to take my hand back from his grip but it was useless because he only tightened his grip on me. I gave him a bad look just when I looked at his face, he was just seriously looking at our hands. I swallowed one after the other and then I tried to take my hand back but he was stronger than me so it was useless. I just wasted my effort.

"Kenzo what the hell! Let go of my hand." I was angry when I told him and then I looked at his face again, it was right that he also looked up at me. So we were eye to eye.

He opened his mouth just in case a few minutes passed and he didn't say anything to me until -

"Daaad! Selena I'm back!" Kenzo and I looked behind him at the same time when I heard Yelena's screamed voice. I didn't even notice that he left. Where did you go? I still ask myself. "I got you a bad aid and first aid kit for your wound, Selena." Yelena said and then she lifted the first aid kit she was carrying. I smiled and I was about to approach her remembering that Kenzo and I were still holding each other's. So, I looked at his face again, he was also looking at me.

He gently squeezed my palm and then gradually loosened his grip on me while we looked into each other's eyes. Until he completely let go of my hand but I still didn't remove my hand from resting on his hand.

"If staring with each other can melt you, you guys have already melted like an ice." Yelena said while giggling. So Kenzo and I turned to him at the same time, I widened my eyes at him but he just smiled at me and looked happy while Kenzo watched us. And I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing, I mean doesn't he notice that my something is cheesy with his Daddy?

"That's enough flirting, love birds." Yelena said and then she turned to Knezo. "And Kenzo, treat Selena's wound please. I want to put icing and designs on my cupcakes!" She added. Kenzo sighed and he was the first to remove his hand so I also withdrew my hand. The only weird thing is that Kenzo didn't even visit her, even though Yelena did it on a first name basis. Really spoiled brat. Sigh.

Chapter 2

"My hand is fine, thanks for bringing the first aid kit." I just told Yelena, since she was close to where Kenzo and I were standing. I reached for his head and then I messed up his messy hair.

"Selena stop it!" He said to me irritated, I just smiled and then I took the oven mitts so I could take out the cupcake we baked.

"OMG! Here's the exciting part! Adding icing and designs on my cupcakes!" Yelena said and it was obvious that she couldn't wait because she was the one who brought out the cupcakes in the muffin tin so I just let it go since it wasn't that hot and Kenzo was watching over her so I just focused on putting what was already done Our icing earlier for the piping bags, we made four colors of icing earlier. There is blue, pink, lavender and then yellow. Well, Yelena all decided the color of the icings.

"I want to try the color pink, first!" Yelena said excitedly, it's good and that's it if it's all in my pipping bag.

"Here you go." I told him and then I reached for the pipping bag with my pink icing.

"Yay! I did it the wrong way." He complained that the first thing he did was wrong. "Dad, do something about this!" And then he turned to Kenzo.

"I don't know anything about that. Hmm, let me try..." Kenzo answered him. So I turned to them, Kenzo's forehead was frowning as he shifted his gaze to the cupcake and to the icing he was holding as if he was taunting him and when he was about to put icing on the cupcake, Yelena immediately complained.

"Dad what have you done? You ruined it more!" Yelena frowned and then puffed out both of her cheeks. He's so cute to look at. And it looks like I know what will happen next, he will cry! Since I finished putting the icing, I approached them before Yelena started crying.

"How about I help you?" I asked Yelena. And then Kenzo and I approached them. So our place is divided like this, Kenzo then Yelena in the middle and then me. Yelena's eyes seemed to close when she looked at me.

Yelena came to me and hugged my neck again and then she said –

"It's good that you're here Selena to help! I now agree that you are somehow useful." I just sighed and then I answered him.

"You really are your mother's daughter." He didn't pay attention to me, he just took the pipping bag again that's why I also held his hand to guide him on how to put icing on my cup cake. We did it so easily –

"OMG! It's perfect! I love it!" And then Yelena took the cupcake we designed and showed it to Kenzo who was just watching us earlier.

"Dad look, isn't it beautiful?" I also looked at Kenzo, he turned the cupcake for a moment and then he looked straight into my eyes again and the only weird thing was that my heart suddenly started beating faster while I was also eye to eye with Kenzo.

"Yes, she is beautiful." Why do I feel like he's calling me beautiful? Or just assume me?

"Staring at each other again." Yelena said, I was so focused on Kenzo and I's eye to eye contact that I didn't understand what he said, I couldn't even pay attention to him.

Until Kenzo suddenly moved his head, slowly bringing it closer to my face that I forgot that Yelena was with us. My eyes are already welling up and I think that once Kenzo's and I's lips touch, I will close my eyes on purpose, just in case my mouth falls and Kenzo's face is stopped at the same time my cupcake full of icing is stuck to my lips. our cheeks, I even backed away from where I was standing. Kenzo and I were both surprised.

"That's rated SPG! No kissing here love birds!" Yelena said so annoyed that Kenzo and I turned to her at the same time, and just like that, he was holding two cupcakes in both his hands.

"Yelena!" I complained to him and then I wiped the icing on my right cheek. He frowned at me.

"What's that for?" Kenzo also asked him, to which he glared.

"That's for flirting in front of me! Maybe you guys are forgetting, something here! Let's be clear, that you two are here because you will help me decorate my cupcakes!" He said demanding and then I suddenly thought. I took the other icing on my side, I put the other two colors in the middle of us while I took the other one and then I put the pipping bag on Kenxo's forehead so he could put it on my forehead.

"What the –" And before he could continue what he was going to say, I immediately warned him.

"No cursing!" I said laughing and next I put the icing on Yelena, on the tip of her nose.

"OMG! That's mean Selena!" He still complains.

"You started it!" I answered him and then Kenzo and I walked away from them and that's how it ended, we teased each other while designing Yelena's cupcakes which made almost their entire kitchen messy but it was so much fun.

Kenzo and Yelena chased me inside the kitchen, the three of us went around but in the end Kenzo grabbed me by my waist and then said –

"Got you!" And then he smiled at me, I just smiled because I didn't expect Kenzo to tickle me on both of my hips, the tickle was so strong that I fell on my carpet.

"Right... that's it!" I laughed and said to Kenzo as I stopped his hand from tickling me but he still went ahead.

"Revenge time!" Yelena said more and then she went to my side and put icing above my mouth.
