Kamila's POV.

It was 5pm. I closed from my office and stepped out to my car in the garage. I was about driving out when my phone rang.

My best friend was calling. " Holla bitch" she said immediately I picked the call. "Hi Zoe, what's up?" I asked. "Same old. And you are doing what now?".

"I am off to Tony's" I replied. "Uh. Okay, talk later" she said. We hung up and I drove out of the garage.

My name is Kamila Woods. I am a business lady into Real estate and housing. I live alone except I get visited by my best friend Zoe or my sister who works in Chicago as a Computer Analyst.

That Saturday morning, I arrived at the pound quick early. That was one thing about me. Always on time.

I met a guy who showed me the way to the boss office. In there, he kept talking about how good it feels to have a dog.

" So why do you want one?" The guy, Brad asked. " My best friend said I should get one to keep me company and it's kinda like a therapy thing." I replied. He nodded and said we can go ahead to check the dogs out.

The pound was crazy loud with different dogs barking. I tried bonding with some of the dogs but that wasn't any connections.

We kept moving until I got to a cage. In there were two dogs.

They were so quiet, staring at me like they were trying to read my soul. I then noticed how huge they were with their black fur that had hints of brown around the neck and underbelly.

"Those two are the wildest in this pound. It's surprising seeing them this calm." Brad said. I looked at him and turned back to the dogs. "I want them." I simply said.

Brad looked at me like l had lost my mind. "They won't do anything. Maybe they were aggressive because they didn't like the place." I said to him.

Their names were Captain and Duke. A guy came to open the door of the cage and they rushed out jumping at me attacking my face and body with licks." Oh my goodness, you two like to lick too much." I giggled.

I signed all necessary documents and left with my two new doggies.

Dylan's POV

My brother and I were travelling alone a year and half ago when we were attacked by rogues.

We are werewolves and Alpha of our own pack. After that attack, we were too injured to heal on our own. While resting, we heard a vehicle coming and used the last of our strength to make our wolves almost a similar size to dogs.

Turned out that we got picked up by a pound vehicle and we have been in there since. Losing hope of ever getting out because all efforts proved futile.

That morning, my wolve was getting excited and got me wondering what had fascinated him in this place. It wasn't only me, Ryan's wolve was also excited.

We finally arrived at her place. She pulled over in her garage. From the garage only,I could tell that she was quite okay.

" I live alone. I don't have any guy in my life and also l am an interior designer. Although I have my own company" She said. We went into the house. She left us in the living room and went in to her bedroom I guess.

I got up the next morning to see two furry bodies beside me. Then I remembered that I had just adopted two dogs yesterday.

Captain and Duke sat up staring at me." Morning boys". I smiled. They moved closer and began to lick my face." Okay, okay, let's go for a walk." They seemed to like that as they were already out of the room. I dressed and stepped out to see them waiting by the door.

The morning breeze was cool and relaxing. The boys lazily jogged beside me as I ran to the park.

After stretching and relaxing, I left for a pet store to get all they would be needing.

"Good morning, could I bring my dogs in?" I asked a guy,he smiled and nodded. I went in and the same guy began to show me around helping out. We got to the section of beds but the boys didn't like the idea as they kept growling and tried to push me away from the section." Seems like they don't like the idea of a bed." The guy said. " They slept in mine last night, so that is what they want I guess." I replied.

I bought shampoo and conditioner, toys, collars(even when they growled at that), name tags and biscuits for treats.

We left for home. I washed them before going in to shower myself then we had brunch.

The next morning, Kamila got up and soon began to clean up. 'Oh great, now I have to deal with you two cleaning habits' Ryan groaned as we watched her work. I only laughed watching her, she was wearing a camisole and shorts, her hair pulled back in two pigtails making her looking cute.

The next morning, as I got ready for work. Captain and Duke sat by my side when I was busy with my make up whining.

"You boys can't come with me." I told them. They whined the more as if telling me that they will be on their best behaviour. The faces they were both making finally made me agree. The next thing I knew, they were out of the room, I could hear them yelping happily.

I dressed and picked up my hand bag and laptop bag, stepping into the living room to see them waiting by the entrance. "I sincerely hope I won't regret this." I muttered as we went out to my car.

I sat back waiting for her to elaborate. " You still haven't gotten those toys right?" She asked. "No." "That's it,I'm ordering them for you. Expect a delivery at your doorstep when you get home." She grinned. I just shook my head because there was no way I could argue myself out.

" Sometimes I feel like you do not have any office because you come here almost every day." I said as I watched her work. She is a fashion designer and owns her own shop. Zoe left an hour later leaving me in my office with loads of work. Time went by quickly and by the time I realized, It was evening pass my closing hour. I packed up and left the office, the boys walking by my sides.

We got home and true, as Zoe said. I found a package at the doorstep. A tiny part of my mind wanted to dump it in the bin but I knew that was signing a death warrant if Zoe ever found out and she would actually find out.

I took it in and dropped it in my room before undressing, my feet screaming relief and freedom. After a light dinner, I went into my room the boys ahead of me like they couldn't wait for me to open the package.

Taking a deep breath, I opened it and began to bring out the stuffs. I almost choked on my saliva as my eyeballs were about popping out of the sockets when I saw all she got.

" You two knew?, Why didn't you tell us?, Why did she even keep it from us?, How long have you known?." Her questions came tumbling out.

" She told us not to tell until she revealed it herself." Ryan said. " Mum, dad, we need to go. Talk later?" I told them. " Okay, I will expecting your call." Mum replied.

We hung up and shifted going back to the room. As we went in, Kami was sitting up, trying to wear her flip flops. She noticed us and smiled sleepily before going into the bathroom.
