Inside the grand bedroom which was well furnished and exquisitely designed, Vivianne was sitting on the soft silk bed. And although she was staring at her surroundings, her mind was wandering with bothersome thoughts.

She sighed deeply several times before finally, tears escaped from her dull round eyes. Though, she cleaned the tears immediately, since she was afraid that someone would see her in this miserable state.

"Why? Just, why?". Staring up at the white ceiling, Vivianne questioned– because she doesn't understand the purpose and point of her life anymore.

It all began 16 years ago, when Vivianne was 6 years old. Then, she was living happily with her wealthy family– her parents, her twin brothers, and even her grandparents. But that happy picture was broken– when on the same day, her family was attacked and killed by notorious armed men.

Vivianne was the only survivor of the Beckham family. And that was because, during the day of the attack, she was with the Harrington family.

Grandpa Harrington and Grandpa Beckham were best friends and pals– so after Grandpa Harrington discovered the tragic incident which had happened to his best friend's family– he hid Vivianne's true identity from the world, and even welcomed her as a part of his family, with his aim of keeping her safe.

Grandpa Harrington feared that Vivianne would be in danger someday, so he made an arranged marriage between her and his 10 years old grandson, Kendrick.

So, after Vivianne graduated at the age of 20, she got married to Kendrick. But, that was the beginning of her torment. She tried her best to please Kendrick and make him love her, but it was all in vain!.

Everyone in the Harrington family, except Grandpa Harrington, took Vivianne as a shameless gold digger. They said that she manipulated Grandpa Harrington, and even forced him to make Kendrick marry her.

They even dared to blame her, stating that she was the cause of her families' death!.

Even when all these torments were going on, Vivianne foolishly believed that Kendrick would take her side– since she was now his wife. But guess what? She was absolutely wrong and foolish.

There was even a night when Kendrick told her that– she was the obstacle of his life! And that, he wouldn't have married her if not for his Grandpa.

Now Vivianne is 22 years old. After enduring 2 years of harsh torment, the torments against her doubled. And there's a perfect explanation for that.... Grandpa Harrington, who had always protected and defended her, died.

The Harrington family also blamed Vivianne for the death of Grandpa Harrington, stating that she was a trash and a jinx.

Anyway, since Grandpa Harrington had died, most of the company's shares were given to Kendrick, who was the legal heir.

Kendrick introduced the young lady whose name was, Brianna, to his family. And what made Vivianne's heart sting in pain was that– the Harrington family absolutely accepted Brianna! They even suggested that Brianna should get married to Kendrick, since they were a perfect match from above.

But what about her? Wasn't she still married to Kendrick?. This was Vivianne's thought, but it didn't last long because, exactly an hour ago, Kendrick offered her a divorce paper to sign!.

"How can they all do this to me? I did nothing wrong to them. My only offence to them is that I'm alive". Vivianne muttered and whimpered bitterly. She doesn't want to sign the divorce paper because she knew that if she did, she'd become homeless with nowhere to go.

Vivianne was feeling so lost and weak. Even though she tried to control her emotions, tears kept on escaping from her dull eyes. She tried cleaning the tears, but that was when it rushed out uncontrollably.

With no choice or solution, Vivianne just laid weakly on the silk bed and shut her eyes, and soon, she slept off.

There was no solution to Vivianne's problem because, even though she tried her best to please the Harrington family, they still hated her with complete passion.

"I have nowhere to go, so I'm not leaving". Vivianne muttered in her sleep.

2 months later,

Even though Vivianne still refused to sign the divorce papers, Kendrick did the most shocking thing to her, by marrying Brianna and bringing her into the mansion!.

This time around, Vivianne lost all remaining hope.

Brianna treated Vivianne like a slave, to the point that Vivianne cursed the day she was given birth to!.

Vivianne couldn't handle anymore of the torments, so she ran away after signing the divorce papers in tears!.

After Vivianne ran away, she became homeless. Sometimes, she slept under bridges. And sometimes, she slept in uncompleted buildings. And even sometimes, she slept with a starving stomach.

Fate was on Vivianne's side, so eventually, she found a paying job, and the owner, who was an elderly lady, hired her with a welcoming heart.

The elderly lady even offered Vivianne to stay with her, since she didn't have any family of her own either.

Of course, Vivianne couldn't refuse the elderly lady's offer at all, so she accepted. In fact, to pay the elderly lady for her generosity and great kindness, Vivianne worked twice, more than what she was supposed to.

Vivianne stayed with the elderly lady for 4 months, until that fateful day– when she went to the market to buy some food stuff.

In the marketplace, Vivianne heard most of the gossip about the first wife of Kendrick, which was obviously her.

She heard from the market people– that she was just a jinx and a wicked daughter in law. In fact, the next word that they said, caused her to be stunned!. They said that she was a barren witch! And that the second wife, Brianna, was even now pregnant!.

'Brianna is pregnant? In just a few months she became pregnant? But when I got married to Kendrick, he refused to touch me!'. Vivianne screamed painfully in her mind. She couldn't take any more of the gossip, so she ran as far as she could.

It reached a certain point and Vivianne decided to go to Kendrick's company! She wanted to just ask him this simple question– "Why?!".

Vivianne hailed a taxi and entered it. When the driver arrived at Kendrick's company, Vivianne came down.

She paid the taxi driver, and when she was crossing the road, a fast coming car hit her, and her body flung and violently landed on the ground– she even hit her head badly. Blood covered the yellow plain dress she was wearing!.

After witnessing the accident that had happened, the passersby immediately called an ambulance.

The car which hit Vivianne – didn't drive off. Instead, two identical tall–handsome guys with dark hairs and brown eyes, who were maybe say– 6 years older than Vivianne, came out of the car.

Horror was written all over their handsome faces, because it was by accident that their car crashed Vivianne's body. Actually, they were in a hurry– that was one of the main reasons for the sudden accident.

Some few minutes later, the ambulance arrived and took Vivianne, who was now unconscious.

The tall handsome guys entered their car immediately and drove after the ambulance, since they were feeling so guilty.

As soon as the ambulance arrived at the hospital, Vivianne was taken to the emergency department, where the doctors immediately attended to her.

The doctors did surgery for Vivianne in the surgical ward, and after many hours, it was a success. Vivianne was later moved to a different ward since her life wasn't at risk anymore.

The tall handsome twins, whose names were– Barrett and Garrett, entered inside Vivianne's ward afterwards. To be fair, they had already paid for all of Vivianne's bills, since they were the ones at fault for her injury.

"Big twin, what are we going to do if she eventually wakes up and decides to sue us?". Garrett suddenly asked his twin brother, since he wasn't prepared to go to jail.

"Don't worry about that first. We should first hope that she wakes up". Barrett replied, before he then focused his attention on the pale and yet, beautiful face of Vivianne.

Even though Vivianne was in this sick state, her beauty couldn't be hidden. Her tall bridge nose, her slim pale face, her round brown eyes, her long brown hair– everything was indeed perfectly created by God.

Garrett saw that Barrett was curiously staring at Vivianne, so he too curiously stared at her. It reached a certain point and he exclaimed, "Big Bro, how come this young lady resembles us?".

"That's what I was also wondering about, little bro. As long as I remember, after we both lost our memories when we were young– the only living family I remember having left is you. And the only living family you have left is me". Barrett explained.

"Yeah. Anyways, are you thinking what I'm thinking?". A smile appeared on Garrett's thin lips as he questioned Barrett.

"Of course. We're twins, so we have almost the same thoughts". Barrett announced and soon added, "We'll secretly request the doctor to check our blood samples, to see if our blood matches hers. Who knows, she could be our long lost family".

Three weeks passed, and Vivianne finally regained consciousness.

For the past three weeks, Barrett and Garrett never left Vivianne's side. To be honest, they did the blood test exactly three weeks ago– and that was when they discovered that Vivianne was their little sister!.

The twins didn't know how this miracle happened, but anyways, they just embraced it like that and were so protective of their new little sister!.

"Big bro, she's finally woken up!". Garrett exclaimed and immediately woke Barrett, who was asleep by the side of Vivianne's bed.

Barrett eventually heard Garrett's voice and woke up. His sleepy face instantly brightened as soon as his brown eyes landed on Vivianne, who was now fully conscious.

"Hello dear". Barrett said with a really composed voice, as he didn't want to frighten Vivianne– since he had a really deep voice, compared to Garrett, whose voice was still not mature.

"H-i". Vivianne said her first word, and in no time, she shyly added, "I'm hungry".

Garrett almost laughed at his new sister, but Barrett shushed him before he could.

"Don't worry, I'll bring you something to eat". Barrett didn't hesitate and announced. Soon, he left the ward and went to meet one of the nurses, who gave him a bowl of warm porridge.

Barrett brought the bowl of porridge with him. And after arriving inside Vivianne's ward, he handed the bowl of porridge to her.

Vivianne gladly collected the bowl offered to her. She didn't complain about the porridge and even finished all of it, since she was pretty hungry. She cleaned her mouth later on with the back of her hand.

"Who are you two? I'm Vivianne. Do you two know who I am or where I'm from?".

Vivianne's sudden question, caused both Barrett and Garrett to be stunned. With no doubt, they were certain that she'd lost her memory.

"You don't remember anything?". Garrett curiously asked.

"Em, only a little. I only remember my name and that my family got killed when I was a little child". Vivianne explained and her face was saddened because she was disappointed at herself for not remembering everything concerning her.

'How come her memory is similar to mine and Garrett's? We only remember that our families got killed when we were young. But we don't remember much after that'. Barrett thought.

After noticing how the twins were quiet, Vivianne naturally thought she had said something which offended them. So she politely asked, "Did I say anything wrong? Are you guys angry at me?".

"Of course not". Barrett immediately replied, before his heart started beating fast as he requested, "Vivianne, I'm Barrett. And this here is my twin brother, Garrett. Actually, after doing blood tests, we both recently figured out that you're our little sister". "Would you like to live with us, at least, until we figure out how you turned out to be our little sister?". He added.

Garrett's heart was also beating very fast. He was praying and hoping that Vivianne would agree to what Barrett had suggested.

Vivianne began thinking. She noticed that the twins were polite. She wasn't a fool, so she saw that she resembled the twins. Speaking of which, she finally made a tough decision, "I don't think I have anywhere else to go to. And since you two did blood tests, and I'm positively your little sister, I want you two to take good care of me". Vivianne said with a polite smile.

Hearing what Vivianne had said, made both Barrett and Garrett's hearts– to leap with great joy.

"It's settled then, little sister! I promise you, Garrett and I would definitely treat you well and make you our little princess!". Barrett declared with a certain face, causing Vivianne to feel absolutely secure.

'After I figure out how Vivianne is our little sister– I'll find out who killed our families and make them pay for it!'. Barrett thought within himself.

5 years later,

The airport was as busy as ever. There were many travellers who arrived in the city, plus, there were also many travellers who were leaving the city.

A certain private plane arrived at the airport, at exactly 1pm. After the private plane landed, the door was opened and the stairs were spread out.

Vivianne, who was wearing a yellow leather jacket with a black trouser– came down from the private plane through the stairs.

As she descended the stairs, the aura that surrounded her was bright and charming!. Plus, she was more beautiful than ever. Five years ago, Vivianne's face was pale because of how depressed she was. But now, her face was as bright as ever!. Her brown hair grew even longer, and her figure, including her face, was more matured.

As soon as Vivianne finished descending from the private plane's stairs, she ran to meet her twin brothers who were already waiting for her.

"Big brothers!". Vivianne called out as she hugged both Barrett and Garrett.

"Little sister". Garrett called out, as he hugged Vivianne too.

To cut the long story short, 5 years ago after Vivianne's accident, Barrett and Garrett later discovered how Vivianne was actually their little sister. Actually, the main reason for that was because– they recovered their childhood memories. Though, up till now, they still haven't figured out who eliminated their family.

Plus, 5 years ago, they sent Vivianne to Los Angeles. Their main aim was to let the doctors over there– treat her, so that all her memories would fully come back. But anyway, only a few memories came back to Vivianne. The other memories were history.

"Big brothers, after 5 years, I've finally returned to Phoenix city!". Vivianne was so excited– that it caused her to hug Barrett and Garrett, even more.

It didn't take that long, and they separated from the hug. Looking at Vivianne's face, Barrett felt his heart beating really fast. To be exact, Vivianne looked a lot like their Mom!.

"Welcome back, little sister. Garrett and I really missed you". Barrett said with a warm captivating smile.

Vivianne definitely heard what Barrett had said, so she frowned her face and pouted her lips as she admitted, "Tsk, you and Garret missed me. But you guys refused my offer when I pleaded for you to visit me in Los Angeles".

Barrett cleared his throat before saying, "Honestly speaking, for the past 5 years, we'd been working so hard in our company. Garrett and I wanted to grow our selfmade company before your return".

"So, how is the progress going?". Vivianne was curious, so she asked.

"Let's just say, our company's progress was so successful– that we even ended up buying a popular company for you". Garrett suddenly announced, and a bright smile appeared on his handsome v-shaped face.

"Wait, what?!". Vivianne was so surprised that she exclaimed in total disbelief.

"Last week was your 27th birthday, little sis. Garrett and I didn't celebrate your birthday then because we had something bigger in our minds". "After our self made company made trillions of dollars as net worth, Garrett and I bought a popular company for you, as your birthday gift. So right now, you're that new company's Chairman, and the highest shareholder". Barrett finished explaining, and also smiled at Vivianne, after seeing the disbelief look in her face.

"No way!". Vivianne exclaimed once more, before hot tears rushed out from her eyes.

Barrett and Garrett panicked, after seeing the way their little sister was crying.

"What's wrong, little sis? Did we say anything wrong to you?". Barrett immediately asked Vivianne, who shook her head at him.

"Bro- brothers, you didn't do anything wrong to me. I was just so happy that I ended up crying. Honestly speaking, my emotions reacted on their own because I felt strangely hurt". Vivianne cleaned the tears in her eyes as she explained.

"You felt hurt? But why, little sis?". Garrett didn't quite understand and asked.

"I don't know. But maybe, I was treated badly in the past by whoever I was living with back then. So now that you two did this special thing for me, I felt really emotional and touched". Vivianne explained once more.

Barrett felt that something was indeed off, so he asked, "Do you think that someone hurt you in the past, before you actually lost some of your memories?".

"Yes, big brother. I have these strong feelings that I was hurt by someone in the past. Sometimes I even have nightmares". Vivianne immediately replied, causing Barrett to sigh deeply.

"Don't worry about the past, little sis. I'm actually glad you lost part of your memories– in that case, the person who hurt you in the past, won't be in your heart anymore". Barrett announced.

Vivianne and Garrett agreed to what Barrett had said.

Barrett, Garrett and Vivianne didn't stay long in the airport again. They went and entered Barrett's car, after which Barrett drove off to their mansion.

Kendrick's mansion,

The mansion was almost as it was, 5 years ago. But the difference was that, most of the surroundings, including the inside, were redecorated. Not only that, there was now a child living in the mansion.

"Harry, don't run. You might fall and injure yourself". Brianna sweetly warned her son, before she ran to him and carried him in her arms. "You silly brat. You're only 4 and a half years old, but you already know how to run and make me worry". Brianna jokingly said, as she played with Harry's little nose and black hair.

"Ma-ma". Harry said to Brianna in his baby's voice, which wasn't that clear to hear.

"Now you know that I'm your mother. Tsk, stop giving me headaches, Harry". Brianna announced as she walked inside the mansion with him.

Upon arriving inside the living room, Brianna met with her husband, Kendrick.

Kendrick was as handsome and tall as ever. His handsome face was aloof to look at. Plus, he was not only tall, but was also muscular. Additionally, he had black hair which was like the night, and dark eyes.

"Harry, my son". Kendrick said, and a slight smile appeared on his aloof face when he noticed how eagerly Harry wanted him– to carry him.

Kendrick went ahead and carried Harry from Brianna's arm. Soon he simply added, "Hurry up, Brianna. We are going to visit the family mansion with our son".

"Em, sure". Brianna sweetly replied, before hurrying upstairs– to their bedroom.
