"Danika Hurry!"

A man's voice shouted at the back, the air was filled with tension as Danika ran along with her best friend, Thana.

Danika held her thin gown as she ran along with Thana whose expression was filled with dread.

Turning back to see if her dad was coming along with her, Danika searched through the hallway of the palace of Alpha Morris Lane, Her father.

"Dad??" Her steps slowed down as she turned to return to meet her father but Thana held her hand.

Shaking her head in fear, Thana stuttered "You can't go back there, he'll kill you, he won't spare us like he didn't spare our families"

Danika felt the tears flowing out freely, wetting her cheeks "Thana, I need to get to the Alpha, My dad needs me....." her voice choked on her tears "I can't let him die"

Turning to run back, Thana grabbed her hand even more tightly, her voice tightened "I can't let you die, Your father wouldn't want for you to put yourself in harm's way, That's the reason he rescued you out of there, Let's..."

Before her words could drop, an explosion echoed and the both of them felt the shock gripping their spines.

Dread-filled, Danika lowered to the ground, their pack had been destroyed to the lowest it could get.

Danika Lane, was the wolf-less daughter of Alpha Morris Lane of the Woodshed pack, even with her inabilities, her father loved her dearly and she was treated the best way ever.

Her life was going easy and cozy until a few hours ago when everything came to a standstill.

Their pack was invaded by another Alpha's pack members.

"We have to get out of here," Thana said hastily as she wiped off Danika's tears "You have to live for us"

Danika felt the pain of seeing how her friend cared for her even under such pressure, Thana had always been the best and perfect friend to her unlike her who had nothing to offer, Thana had always protected her from bullies but never asked for anything in return.

"Come here" Thana held her fragile wrist as she pulled Danika through the dusty and scattered Hallway.

Everywhere had been manhandled and demolished, sounds of gunshots resonated, and piercing cries filled the air as Danika took every step with tears-filled eyes.

Her chest tightened at the thoughts of her dear father who had risked his life to keep her safe.

The Woodshed pack has been one of the most influential and secure packs with riches, and her father made the pack flourish.

But now, all the hard works were destroyed in the blink of an eye by just one being.

The hatred was burning her chest as she saw red, Thana kept pulling her along and just when they were about to get to the stairs leading to the underground in the basement, a figure came out of nowhere, blocking their path.

Thana and Danika halted in their tracks, their foot seemed glued to the ground.

The male silhouette, his hair cascaded down his face, covering the side of his face, had his side to them. He gave off a bone-chilling feeling, a deadly aura surrounding him.

Danika didn't need to be told twice to retract her steps but it seemed her legs were glued to the ground.

"Danika! Danika!! Danika" Thana kept calling for her so they could turn back and run for dear lives but the words just seemed like low whispers to Danika's ears, she couldn't hear a thing, her eyes remained glued on the male god who was a few walks away from them, she knew who he was.

Soon, the man raised his head, his cold eyes brushed towards Thana who was shaking from head to toe, and The stupefied Danika who was just gawking at him.

He felt his hatred growing even more as he gritted out these words "Want to run away from your death?? Really absurd" he snapped at them.

Thana tucked at Danika's arm in fear as The man walked closer.

"So it was you who launched the attack on my pack!" Danika let out, her tone low but holding a heavy weight of anger.

She had seen this man multiple times in this pack, what she knew was that they were once members of the Woodshed pack before his family was ousted out of the pack because of treason.

She didn't concern herself with politics but she had never heard of a feud between Woodshed and his pack, Fang Pack.

He was An Alpha whose manpower was one to be reckoned on, they had colonized a lot of packs and it seemed hers was to be his now.

"I dare you to come after me!" Thana pushed her fear to the back of her head as she Condescendingly stated as she dragged Danika to her back to provide a shield for her.

Danika widened her eyes in surprise as she protested "Thana, you have to escape and save yourself"

Thana threw her a side look "I will protect you, Danika"

Alpha Grey just raised a brow at them "Before speaking, try to put yourselves in order" he said, making his way to them but Thana didn't buy his words as she launched an attack at him.

Alpha Grey had an indifferent look as he watched the female wolf bear out her fangs and claws, ready to scratch him but he just simply drew out his gun and...

Bang.

"Nooooooo" Danika's scream followed after the gun sound died down, her eyes followed the body of her best friend drop lifelessly on the floor.

Pain, anguish, and hatred consumed her, her knees went leap as she fell on the ground, her hands shaky, and her brain couldn't quite process the devastating fact that she just lost her father and her best friend.

Alpha Grey didn't have any expression of remorse on his face as he just simply stated "Keeping Friends is for kids, do you agree with me....Daughter of Alpha Morris??" The last part was dragged, Danika didn't miss the underlying Sarcasm in his tone.

Grey walked towards her and forcefully grabbed her chin " I guess you do know who I am since your father made my life miserable " He uttered, his eyes blazing with hate, his words made Danika's stomach churn.

"But do you know what I am going to do with you??...." He asked with a roguish smile on his face.

Danika gritted out "I hate You, Alpha Grey"

Grey immediately let go of her chin before he landed a hot slap on her face.

"Dare to disobey me and you'll find yourself in a very pitiful state that you'll crave for your death"

She opened her lips to talk when he cut her words short by saying:

"You think too much, now sleep" With that, Danika almost yelped in pain when she felt the pain hit her.

Alpha Grey hit her weak spot and she fainted on the spot, his cold eyes on her.

"How the table turns...." He whispered as his eyes landed on the fragile face of the lady "It's time to pay for your father's sins" he added as a glint passed by his eyes.

"Argh" Danika groaned as she twitched her face, she felt blood rush to her head, prying open her eyes, Danika couldn't process anything as she tried to adjust her sight to the brightness of the room.

"That hurts" she muttered as she tried to bring her hand to massage her head while still twitching her eyes but her hand seemed stiff as it couldn't move as she wanted.

That made Danika snap her eyes open, now fully awake as her eyes looked around the room, she was in an unfamiliar room and how she got here in the first place didn't matter to her when her eyes went to her hands and her mouth hung up in utter disbelief.

She was bound by chains!!

Her hands were bound on both sides by big chains and justice was also done to her legs as well. Her body felt battered, her limps too weak to feel herself, Danika didn't know how she got to this point.

Her thoughts were cut short when the door was flung open and that jolted her back to the harsh reality.

Danika snapped her eyes to the door, her eyes vigilant as she held her breath.

Danika was expecting the worst and that was what she got when Alpha Grey's figure came into view.

A small roguish smile played on his lips as he walked towards her bed "How's your first rest at Fang's pack? I hope you enjoyed your rest and I bet, the bed back in Woodshed pack isn't as comfy as the one you're laying on now, and of course, you don't need to thank me for it" he mocked and she turned her head sideways to suppress her urge to spit on his face.

The only words that formed in her head were 'narcissistic'.

Seeing that he got no response, Alpha Grey's face turned chilling as he grabbed her jaw harshly "You are not allowed to keep me quiet when I'm talking to you......You have to say YES to everything I tell you " he said them slowly, making sure the words sink in, one at a time, in her brain.

Danika nodded stiffly, and he flicked her chin.

Standing upright, Alpha Grey slowly walked to the door, He smiled wickedly "Get ready for the event, and don't be in a haste because you might regret knowing how it happens..."

Danika brought her red eyes to his, she couldn't help but ask "What event??"

Alpha Grey smirked "How pitiful, but I'll tell you this, a few minutes from now, you'll be dressed up for sales"

Danika immediately frowned as she questioned "Sales??"

Alpha Grey folded his arms around his chest as he said bitterly "You're of no use to me or my pack and I run an auction house so get ready to be sold to your new owner"

Grey didn't let her digest the words before he exited the room, Danika fell back to the bed, her wet eyes were lifeless for a while before she suddenly let out a cry.

The once-respected daughter of Alpha Morris Lane has now been reduced to a cheap thing that's about to get sold at an auction house.

Danika cursed her fate, First, her pack was raided and her father was killed and she was taken to a different pack where she was about to be sold.

A single teardrop left her eyes as she swallowed her pain.

Just at that moment, The door was pushed open and Three ladies came into her room, they all had indifferent faces as they matched towards her.

Danika stared with wide eyes as she questioned "What are you up to??" Her eyes darted from one lady to the others but they didn't say a word as they just walked towards her and soon, the chains on her legs and hands were unlocked.

Danika made to jump off the bed when two of the women pressed her hard on the bed and they gritted out as if In sync "Do not try anything funny if you don't want to lose your arms"

Danika swallowed, she didn't struggled anymore, their eyes were too cold and their aura was so deadly that she couldn't help but cower in fear.

She didn't complain all through as they escorted her to the bathroom and they bath her, washing every part of her even when she was uncomfortable.

They washed her while she remained silent and after the horrible bathing session, they wiped off her body.

They acted more like robots as they had a cold expression throughout the process and soon, they were done.

She was made to wear a short gown that was barely close to her knees, the gown accentuated her curves and her boobs were exposed with a major amount of her cleavage out for the public eyes, her hair was let loose as the three women grabbed combs and pushed her to seat on the iron chair there.

They combed her hair and after that, the door was opened and two men came into and that was how Danika was carried out of the room.

Danika couldn't complain for fear of getting hurt by them, Her father had ousted Alpha Grey and his family from her pack and now, he came for revenge and was about to sell her off.

This was her fate, she shut her eyes as if to numb the pain, and just like that, Danika was made to stand in front of the large audience, her hands were tied with a strong rope and her legs were also tied.

She could hear the roar as people began to place their bids on her, her face grew hot as the moment passed by, and after many bids, she was bought by a woman.

Danika was taken to a room where the ropes were taken off from her, she watched the men remove the ropes and they placed a shawl around her neck, she wore the slippers that had been provided for her.

Just after she was ready, she made to follow the men out to go meet her new owner when Alpha Grey walked in through the door, Danika jolted in fright while he came closer and then, he whispered to her.

"It was a good idea to raid your pack, you were sold at a good price..now go embrace your new miserable life"

The black car parked in front of the house and Danika alighted from the back seat along with the woman who had bought her from the auction house.

"Come with me Danika" The chubby woman called out and Danika quickly followed behind her, the house was a small villa but the compound was very vast.

The air around the place was filled with flowers and Danika wondered if her life was going to be any rosy as the roses she could spot from afar.

Danika entered the study room with the woman.

"Stand there" the woman ordered and Danika stood still in front of the table while the woman walked over to the table and dropped her bag on the desk before bringing out a file from her bag.

"Your name is Danika Lane from Woodshed pack, daughter of Late Alpha Morris Lane??" She inquired and Danika remained silent for a brief moment before nodding her head.

"Yes ma'am" Her hoarse voice confirmed her words and the woman kept her poker face on as she flicked through the files before nonchalantly saying;

"This is your first day at my house, you'll have to join the others for training before you will be handed over to your new master" The chubby woman who had come to buy her earlier commented and Danika furrowed her brows.

"A new master??" Just as the words fell, a stick landed on her head as the woman glared at her.

"You are not allowed to question me, all you have to do is shut up and look with your ears and listen with your eyes"

Danika grasped the meaning behind those words that seemed so misplaced and she shut her tooth.

"Your new master will come to claim you by tomorrow but before then, we have to check how mentally and physically strong you are but it seems you do not have a wolf" Her despicable words rubbed salt in her wounds and Danika nodded.

Danika was standing in front of the study while the chubby woman was seated on the chair behind the huge and wide table, she was reading Danika's files.

Just then, a woman came in and without looking at her, the chubby women said "Sofia, take our new intake to the field so she can boost her stamina"

Danika inclined her head and saw the woman who had a cold expression on her face, Sofia ordered "Come with me"

Danika followed behind Sofia who led her out of the office and they passed through various corners soon, they were outside the house and Danika spotted a few werewolves who were training in the Field.

Danika felt fear grip her, this was not ordinary training, they were all in a fierce battle with each other.

"You are to join them in the field while we watch your progress or rather...how you'll be battered to death" Sofia suddenly commented and that made Danika's eyes shriek back as she turned to face Sofia and made to tell her she doesn't have a wolf but Sofia only glared hard at her.

"Go on in" she snapped and Danika clenched her teeth and her legs carried her out of the house as she headed towards the field.

A few Minutes Later...

"Weakling, get your ass here" A mocking laugh erupted and Danika bit her lower lip as she tried to get off the floor on her own.

She was made to train with others and she ends up getting bartered and her heart drumming in her rib cage.

She spat out blood before wiping her mouth, cleaning off the remnant of blood on her lip.

She staggered as she couldn't stand still nor position herself well enough.

Her body was covered in dust and her eyes were sloppy as she saw stars and just before she could gain her wits, she was sent flying.

She found herself in the air and she almost cried out in panic but then, she only coughed out a large mouthful of blood when her back hit the hard ground.

She winced as her face showed how miserable she was, she scratched her arm on the floor and blood began to flow out, her body was sore.

"How can you be so weak?? you should rise and be strong to survive this cruel world!!" The wolf jerked her shirt up, uprooting her from the ground, Danika struggled to push her off her but she was too fragile to remove her grip.

"How pitiful" She scoffed at Danika and Danika kept breathing hard, her blood rolling from her forehead to her cheek.

There she spotted her buyer who was looking back at her indifferently, she so wanted to beg for her life.

The chubby woman had an indifferent face as she watched Danika being beaten by the other ladies she bought, the other wolves were laughing as if they were watching a show.

Danika felt the blood roll to her eyes and that was where she begged but it only came out as a whisper "Please"

But that waited punch landed on her jaw and she found herself landing on the ground again.

Her face was barely recognizable as her head hit the hard floor, her eyes carried pain, anxiety, hatred, fear, and despair.

"That's enough!"

After a while did her buyer give command for her to be spared and the wolves snorted before leaving her behind.

Danika couldn't hear what they were saying as she watched them walk away, leaving her behind as if she were trash that was meant to remain lying on the floor.

Averting her gaze, Danika felt her body tearing apart, she sniffed in her snot, her heart racing as they ached in pain.

She gazed at the heavens, her voice creaked and hoarse as she prayed "If this is how my life will turn out, please take me, oh Goddess"

Shutting her eyes as the tears poured out, feeling shattered.

Amid her grief, a voice came from her head "Don't say that, I'm with you now"

Danika snapped her eyes open, thinking she was probably hallucinating but then a chuckle came as the voice rang again.

"You aren't hallucinating Danika, I am with you, I am your wolf, Zetia"

The day rolled by quickly and Danika managed to recover from her aches and injuries, the very next morning, she was transported to a different location.

Standing in the wide living room, The chubby woman turned to look at Danika with stern eyes, Danika turned her lips into thin lines as she stared at her.

The chubby woman dimmed her eyes when she saw how Danika stared at her right in the eyes and that earned Danika a whipped on the back.

Danika hissed in pain as the cane landed on her back, the words that followed were.

"You can't look at your new master in the eyes like this..."

The chubby woman eyed her and she lowered her gaze, staring at her shoes instead and the woman continued.

"Your only words should be 'Yes' and only 'Yes' " The woman continued as she walked to Danika's side and stood there.

"Like I had told you before, when he tells you to spread your legs, you should hang them apart" The lady's cane hit the ground as she walked to Danika's back and the cane soon landed on her head.

Danika shut her eyes to bear the pain, she couldn't refute nor fight for her life anymore, she had been sold and this marked the end of her.

From being claimed by that ruthless alpha to being sold to another Master who wants her as a breeder.

The tapping of the cane resounded in the empty living room with just the two of them.

Her voice was different from the stern one of a few seconds ago.

Danika swallowed hard, seems that was her new owner, her rebellious side pricked her and she couldn't help but raise her gaze and she was met with the cold eyes of the man who was tall with dark eyes.

His temperament was chilling and Danika didn't waste time to lower her gaze again.

"Is this the lady??" He asked as his eyes looked at Danika up and down while she swallowed hard in nervousness.

"Yes sir, this is the lady, she has been trained and taught about what to be done as your breeder"

"Hmm" he hummed before he slowly walked towards her, every step he took closer to her, Danika could feel the shadow looming over her and she couldn't help herself but raise her head again.

Just as her eyes locked in his, that sweet fragrance swept into her nose and she stood rooted to the ground, her eyes locked in his, the bond knotting in her chest, her face covered in bewilderment.

The chubby woman made to come whip Danika for looking at Alpha Dain in the eyes but Dain quickly swept her a cold gaze.

"Your service is no longer needed, you can leave now" After he said that, Dain turned to look at his breeder that was bought by his subordinate.

The chubby woman bowed before she left, an eerie silence enveloped the living room.

Dain's eyes took in the fragile lady's figure before him, he couldn't believe that the woman who was bought by him was his mate.

Danika's gaze wandered off, looking everywhere except for him, it turned out that her buyer was her mate.

Dain walked towards the counter adjacent to the living room, he left her there before coming back with a glass of wine in his hand.

Dain also sat on one of the couches, pushing himself forward, he began to interview Danika "I am Alpha Dain Ivanov Of Blue Moon Pack, as you have already been pre-informed, you are to be my breeder..."

Danika snapped her eyes towards him, why was he not talking about their bond as mates??

As if he could read her thoughts, he placed the glass on the table and said to her "I never bargained for a mate Danika, don't get me wrong...." He said before wiping his lips with his tongue "Due to political reasons, I can't keep a mate Danika so I just want an heir from you"

Not looking at her, knowing fully well that she must be hurt by his words, he slipped the file out of the table and handed it over to Danika.

Danika bit her inner cheek to control her tears, she finally met her mate but he only wanted her to bear him a pup to be his heir.

She took the files from him, her eyes were clouded in tears but Dain continued instead.

"That is a contract that will bond us together, you are to give birth to my heir and I'll pay you off after delivery, the good thing is you'll have your life back after the birth, you can walk away"

Danika brought her eyes to him "Walk away??"

Dain nodded with a blank face, he had longed for his mate too but now wasn't the right time to keep her else she might be hurt because of his selfishness, he couldn't afford for Someone's life to be put into the line because of his greed.
