Later, nevertheless, she's surprised to find out that the masked man is actually..."

Chapter 1 Shocked

Click.

There was the sound of buckling a belt in Judie Ernst's ears. She frowned and rolled over, with a painful look on her face.

"Charles," she called her newly-married husband, subconsciously.

No response.

Rustling kept disturbing her.

Judie opened her heavy eyelids and saw the light of dawn. The spacious hotel suite was dim since the interior lights were all out. Near a sofa that was two meters away, stood a well-built man. He was putting on clothes with his back to her.

Judged from his movement, he was buttoning his shirt.

The man was tall. His back was like a mountain to Judie even he was far from her.

All of a sudden, Judie snapped out of her stupor and got up quickly from the bed. The movement stretched her wound somewhere and made her face go white.

However, she had no time to care about the pain.

"Who are you?" Her voice was trembling.

When she woke up, she found herself in a room with a strange man putting on his clothes, instead of her husband.

That made her breathless.

She was pretty sure that the man was not her husband Charles Shield, because her husband was disabled and used a wheelchair to get around. However, this man was standing upright before her.

Besides, his legs were exceptionally long.

The man stopped buttoning but did not look back.

After a few seconds, he rushed to the hallway, took a mask from the closet and put it on his face. He grasped the doorknob and was going to leave.

At this movement, Judie had already jumped out of the bed and rushed to grasp his shirt, "Who are you? Why are you in my room? Where is Charles?"

The profound-eyed man turned around and grasped her slim wrist. He looked down at her without bowing his head and said, "How do I know where your husband is?"

He spoke the language of Z country with an accent of M country. He spoke every word right, but they did not sound like a person from Z country.

"Let go of me!" She couldn't help but tremble and try to get rid of him when his extremely warm hand touched her skin.

Bang!

The man pushed her hard against the dressing mirror, then pressed her legs with his knees and grasped her wrists. She could not move at all.

"What are you doing, you jerk? Go away!"

The man's face got closer to hers. Judie was overwhelmed by his strong masculine scent. Her heartbeat accelerated. She wanted to get rid of him but was completely constrained.

As a married woman, she felt humiliated and shamed. Thus, she struggled harder.

However, that did not help at all.

"Come on! You were so tame last night. Why are you like a little wild cat with its paws out now?"

When she heard it, her mind went blank, and she ceased to struggle.

She raised her head and looked at him. He was tall. She was now barefoot, and her head could only reach as high as his Adam's apple. Under his chestnut short hair was a mask that covered two-thirds of his face, his sexy and chilly lips, and his masculine jaw.

Judie couldn't help but feel frightened by this masked face.

She took a deep breath and smelled a minty aroma, so light and refreshing.

It smelled like that of Charles.

"What did you mean? Why are you in my room?" She regained her consciousness.

"Ha!" The man smiled sarcastically, "Girl, I mean, the man in your bed last night was me."

Chapter 2 Shamed

He said it unconcernedly.

" What?" Judie was devastated, "You!" Her eyes were round, and pupils shrank.

Last night, she and Charles came to the six-star hotel for a business cocktail party. After a few glasses, she felt dizzy and went back to the room with Charles.

And then, they rested in the room.

Now, this man told her that he was the man in her bed last night.

Judie felt like her whole world crumbled.

"Mrs. Shield, you were quite cooperative last night. Now you want to blame me? Anyway, I was surprised that you were still a virgin one month after you were married. How's that? Is your disabled husband impotent?" The man looked at her, smiling like a rascal.

With long light brown hair on her shoulders, Judie was a good-shaped beautiful girl in a white slingback skirt. The spots on her fair skin were this man's work.

He pulled up the corners of his lips proudly when he looked at them.

Judie's eyes were red. She was so extremely angry that she got rid of his hands and attempted to pull his mask off.

"Who are you, jerk!" She screamed.

The man easily grasped her wrist again and tighter. His smirking eyes turn cold as ice, and Judie felt a chill running up her spine. She could not help but tremble.

His face got closer to hers, and disgustingly bit her lips.

"Be good, girl. Not everyone can see my face."

"You jerk! Son of bitch!" Judie went mad with rage for being humiliated again.

"Shh! Be quiet, girl. Aren't you afraid that your disabled husband knows what you had done with me?"

He warned with his chilly voice.

"Jerk!" Judie screamed with a fierce shake. She became angrier.

He knew she was a married virgin but stole her first night.

Her hands were firmly grasped, so she chose to fight back with a kick on his private part with her barefoot.

The man flexibly dodged. Before he raged, he felt a sudden pain in his arm.

"Ough!"

She bit his arm angrily with all her strength. Soon they both could smell the blood.

The man was annoyed. He grasped her nape. Judie instantly loosened her bite when the man squeezed lightly. The next moment, Judie was thrown to the floor.

"Whether to be a jerk depends on who I get along with. Your pretty face was far more beautiful than the so-called first socialite. How could I not be a jerk to you?" Said the man scampishly.

Judie was shaking with rage.

Bang!

Before Judie was aware, the man had open the door, walked out, and slammed it.

Judie sat up on the floor in the dim room. She felt hurt all over after the physical conflict with the man. She calmed down gradually and teardrops rolled down her face.

One month after she was married, she lost her virginity to a strange man, a lawless scampish man.

Judie did not know how long she had been sitting on the floor. When it got lighter, Judie looked at her watch and found that it was only seven o'clock.

She thought the man had intended to slip away after sleeping with her, but she got him.

"Jerk!" Judie repeated and gnashed her teeth.

Next time when she saw him, she would bite him to death.

When she was trying to stand up, Judie heard a ding-dong, and a frosty handsome face appeared on the LCD TV in the living room.

It was a man, in a white shirt and black suit pants, sitting in a wheelchair. Though disabled, he still looked outstanding. He had a chill aura. His intimidating eyes were as sharp as an eagle's.

Chapter 3 Safe for Now

"Charles."

Judie was stunned and got on her feet. She wanted to open the door, but she withdrew her hand after she laid it on the doorknob.

She turned to the mirror and was shocked by hickeys on her body. Then, she rushed to the bedroom.

A torn dress was on the floor.

Judie gnashed her teeth and threw the dress into the trash can.

The bed was in a mess. She lifted the quilt only to find a red spot on the white sheet. She felt a sharp pain in her heart.

Ding-dong.

The doorbell rang again.

She took a look at her body and then the bed. She covered the mark of humiliation with the quilt in haste, fetched a robe from the closet, and quickly put it on.

Ding-dong.

At the moment, she rushed to the bed again to confirm the red spot was covered, and she heard a beep.

The door was opened with a key card.

Judie was tense and scared. She turned around quickly when she heard the sound of the wheels rolling on the floor.

"Judie, what were you up to? Why didn't you open the door?"

The voice was cold.

The voice made Judie stand up straight. Subconsciously, she pulled tight her robe and bowed her head. "Charles, I uh, just awoke. I'm s-still dizzy." Stammered Judie without looking at him.

She pulled the robe so tight that the knuckles were pale. Her hands were sweating, and her heart was beating so fast.

Charles looked sullen, but his face was still extremely good-looking. He swept his sharp eyes over and frowned, "What's with the messy bed?"

His hand laid on the corner of the bed.

"Charles!"

Judie's heart almost stopped. Before she could stop him, Charles had already pulled the quilt away with his long-fingered hand with distinct knuckles.

On the big bed was a crumpled sheet with a red spot, so unpleasant and offensive.

Judie's delicate nose was covered with sweat beads, and her face was pale. She took a step back and almost fell over.

She had slept with a stranger. Now her husband saw the proof. She was doomed.

"You're on period?" Charles glance at it distastefully and then turned to her, "Why are you bear footed?"

"What?" Dumbfounded, she looked at her feet and coiled up her toes subconsciously. She was much relieved. Her heartbeat was fast, and she nodded almost as fast as her heartbeat, "Yes, it came early."

She put on her slippers quickly.

She tried her best to hold back her feelings and squatted before Charles. She took courage and looked at him, "Last night, you..."

"Well, after I took you back, I went out to see a friend. It was late when I was back, so I rented another room," said Charles.

His face was cold.

"I see. You haven't washed up yet, have you? Let me help you." Judie lowered her eyes and reached to grip his arm.

Charles gasped.

He withdrew his hand and eyes looked even colder.

"What's the matter, Charles?" Judie raised her head. When their eyes met, she felt a bit chilled.

Though they had got married for one month, she was quite clear about her husband's temperament.

He always looked frighteningly cold and serious.

Judie reassured herself by thinking that his eccentric personality was out of his disability, and she should be tolerant.
