Edwina placed her hand on her mum's shoulder

"Just let him be mum. I'll be with him all through the day" she said with a smile

"What a busy day" Arlette sighed walking down the street. She took a left turn and arrived at a river.

Walking down into the cafeteria so many comments ranted the air. His steps were slow but yet breath-taking.. he's sole aim is to find her

His gaze landed on Lissa eating with Aviva. Apparently, Aviva dragged her to the cafeteria today

Every student eyes were filled with anticipation as he walked to Lissa's table. He banged his hand on it getting her attention

"Okay ma'am.. thank you" Diem said before rushing up the stairs. Isabel watched her till she eventually arrived at the hallway

"He said he could see her. But the instant she was outta his sight. He became blind again. What exactly is happening? Is Maynard blindness natural or what ?"Isabel asked herself seated on the couch

His vision is still blurry but he can tell she's the one. Her scent is unmistakable

"How are you doing? You weren't in school today so I thought you're sick or something "she asked stepping closer

"Am absolutely fine. Thanks for asking he replied." A moment of silence occured for a while

"Why don't we go out then May ?"she asked nervously tucking her hair behind her hair

"Yeah . But if you don't wanna we can just_"

'I'll grab my mask "he smiled charmingly

"O...okay then!" she beamed in excitement. He wore a black mask to his his identity since fans will go Gaga if they see him

Skilfully, Diem entangled her hands with him. He looked at her and she smiled

"Let's go "he felt her squeezing his hands as they walked out

"Arlette an order at table 4!" another waiter yelled as she rushed in. She made sure to pack her hair into a tight bun

She held two trays on each hand as she asked and carried out customers orders quickly

Today seemed like a real busy day for them. The restaurant is jam-packed

Her eyes fell on the clock and it indicated 4:00 pm.

"Oh no...the bar" she muttered dashing into the kitchen. She's been working her âss off since morning

"Where the hell is Leona?,it's her shift "she muttered writing down the order of another customer

She rushed into the kitchen and came back with a tray containing the food.

"She's here" she thought seeing Leona rush in

After serving the orders,she rushed back to the dressing room. She grabbed her handbag after removing the apron.

The restaurant is one of the most classy one in the whole country. It wasn't easy for her to get employed here

The customers can be extra picking and arrogant considering the fact their all rich

She slipped into her jacket and rushed outta the door. Arlette was in such a rush, she collided with someone also coming in

Their heads met with each other and if sent her to the floor... but

She felt a pair of arms holding tightly to her. She snapped her eyes opened and met...

"Y...you "Maynard lips expanded into a big smile. He made her stand up with his arms still on her. His sight became crystal clear again. He diverted his gaze to others

He could see them all clearly

"Uh.... "Arlette tried breaking free. Instead, Maynard swept her off her feet

"M... Maynard ?"Diem called heartbreakingly watching him leave with her in his arms....

"Today was sooo stressful!" Lissa yawned louldy walking down the street

Indra and her dog were absent in a school thanks to the beating she gave them. Aviva is still annoying but she's slowly growing fond of her

Her eyes caught sight of an ice cream stand.

She bite her cheeks thinking hard weather to use the money. Arlette did give her some cash for lunch which she never spent

"Why not "she shurrged her shoulders and made to cross. A car sped making her jump back on the pavement

"The hell !?"she scoffed. The traffic light clearly indicted red

"The fūck!why is a lunatic still driving?"She gritted her teeth in fury as she crossed the road

She paid for her ice cream and began licking it with glee

The same car which almost knocked her down came back again and parked

"You..."she balled her fist immediately Chester stepped down

"We're you trying to kîll me you bàstard !!?"she yelled

'You're already a dead being bîtvh" he retorted. She tossed the Ice cream cone on the floor and came to stand in front of him

"You tried to run me over on purpose?" she balled her fist. A cocky smile kept playing on his lips

'And what if I did. My car is way more valuable than your life "he scoffed

"That piece of shît is what you call a car?" she spat literally on his face

"It's like your blind or natural daft! That's the latest.... "before he could finish his statement

Lissa grabbed a big stone and without second thought

Threw it on the car , damaging the window

"My baby !!"Chester screamed In surprise

She stucked her tongue out and gave him a middle finger before running off..
