Mated To The Ice Prince

I was shocked seeing mother and father's lifeless body fall to the ground, blood was oozing out mom's neck, while the sword thrusted out of father's back, i only remembered mom and dad telling me to take Kira and run, but right now i couldn't run, i had millions of thoughts in my head, who were those peoples, yes there were invaders but they looked strange, father had earlier sent his men to war, and most of the enemies were killed, resulting our men to bring the ones alive as slaves, and our kingdom became very popular and the best among all seven kingdoms.

Looking at my parents corpse made me shiver, i don't even know what to do, the fight that lasted for almost a night was already over, A lot of our guards, maids and other aristocrats were killed brutally.

Lost in my own thought, i heard my sister scream. She was the last person alive, my brother had escaped through the passage way, leaving me and kira behind. It was an awful moment, i ran to kira.

"I told you not to come out yet kira"I told her. But she was falling and as i looked at my hands i saw stain of clothed blood. And i looked at her back, i screamed in horror, she was already shot by a very large arrow, and it seemed poisonous, i saw a dark looking figure walking towards us with a sharp shining knife in his hands. The sword shone like lights in the dark sky.

The figure wore a mask he was walking in an evil way towards us. I remembered my fighting skills, i quickly stood up from the ground and picked up the sword beside me, i clashed it on his, and the fight began.

I had a huge deep cut at my right shoulder, this result to the off shouldered dress i wore, but i succeeded in cutting of one of his arm.

And he fell like a log to the floor, the sky became cloudy and once i turned back, my parents corpse disappeared in form of an ashes. At least mom and dad saved us, mum saved me from an arrow shot.

I cried again. I was the only one left. Rain began to pour down on us, and i remembered what mother told me when she was still leaving, she said whenever she or father died. It must rain pitchfork. I never understood what she meant, but i guess we aren't just humans.

I carried kira on my back walking like a slut in the heavy rain, not until i heard the sounds of horses running towards our direction, i increased my walk. I would have waited back but alas i was too weak to fight. Thunder and lighting struck me and i began running with my sister crying at the same time.

I hope i would meet someone, or maybe an imp and other magical creatures mother always tells us about, but none came our way, i just kept on running into the black jungle, hoping to see a village or an inn, but none came as well.

I could still fill the sounds of horses following me, the bandits hadn't left yet. It was a very difficult situation, been chased by invaders, and i was carrying my sister, it would had been more comfortable if my sister walked but it was all different.

There was a sharp bend at the middle of nowhere in that forest, yeah i wouldn't have seen it if i was a normal human because it looked dingy dark. I was sure these bandits were human, so they might not be able to see the path as well, so without further thoughts i took that way and began to run as fast as i can.

My fighting skills had helped me a lot this day, back when our live was perfect, i used to learn fighting with My master. I liked the way he teaches and it made me learnt fast, along with my ice magic. I secretly uses the ice magic despite my parents warning that it might hurt me and i had to know more of it. It was all great. I was later the best sword fighter, and i even volunteered to teach the kids around. My parent can never say no because i was like a free bird.

I stepped foot in that path and ran. I couldn't see the tracks of the path anymore, perhaps it was a portal sent by my parents spirit, who knows?.

And finally i could see sunshine which warmed my skin the poor thing might have been dying for sunlight.

We were surrounded by green healthy trees there was a little lake, which shimmer and dazzled in the sunshine, I laid kira down under an oak tree. I wanted to clean the surface of my injury and wrap it with my sash. It really hurts, i couldn't even lift up my arm. I sighed again.

So everything was gone, my home, my families and even my beloved brother Caspian, he left.

Though it wasn't Caspian fault mother and father had earlier asked him to leave, he is the future king of our kingdom so he had to be well. Since Caspian was smart, I know he is going to sort out a way, and one day we would all re unite together, and tie our self with sibling love, even though our parents ate forever gone.

I left all my thought and returned to kira, i had to find a cure to her illness, and I have a feeling that she was well, my eyelids were heavy due to fatigue, so I laid next to kira and closed my eyes.

I woke up, the sun rays reflected to my eyes. I sat down and was thinking about what happened yesterday, I just lost my parents within the blink of an eye. Traditionally, people alive were not supposed to talk about dead people, i just grew up and found that tradition at our kingdom.

My dress was badly torn, I need to wear something more decent, all my fair white shoulders were exposed and all my legs shown as well, I never liked to dress that way. But stuck in the middle of this place, I don't think they would be a clothe shop anywhere, and even if there was i am penniless to buy one.

But if i found some wool yarn i could probably weave something to cover myself. I had learnt how to weave fabrics from grandma, so it's not just a hard thing.

I stood up and plucked out one mango from the tree, i had always hated this fruit ever since i was young but right now i have no choice.

I made a barricade to protect my sister, so i left.

I really don't understand this place, some path are made of ice, and are even filled with snows while others were of spring and mixed season, and I knew instantly that the place wasn't ordinary.

I kept walking checking the trees carefully one after the other in search for yarn and wools but they was none.

I gave up and turned to leave, surprisingly i saw a coach flew pass me, i was shocked again. How could the horse fly, could it be a Pegasus? but mother told us that pegasuses were rare and only a fully blood magic person could see or even touched them, despite the fact that i was born magical i had never even seen a Pegasus before, but a few often appear in my dream.

No matter what it was, i was determined to see it and find out if it was a Pegasus or not. I dashed after it, hoping to catch up with it, but it was so fast, i used to be a very fast runner, but right now, my arm hurt so i gave up and left.

On returning back i saw a group of tiny creatures with long ears, they wore red and green clothes with curved shoes, their dressing looked really funny, some had spiky hairs, while others had no hairs at all.

They all looked at me as i walked past them. "Hey there little guys"i chuckled nervously, i had never seen something like this in my life.

One of them who seem to be their leader came walking grumpily and i flinched.

"Hey" He waved.

I waved back really scared

"You can hear us?" One of them asked surprisingly.

"Yes I can hear you"I replied.

"She can hear us...." They muttered.

"So what are you doing at our Prince's garden?" One of them asked curtly.

"This is a prince garden?" I was shocked.

"Yes this place actually belongs to prince silver and he wouldn't be pleased if he meets you here" He said and it made my heart sank to my feet. Then perhaps the prince might be the person with Pegasus, but how could he really possess such a beautiful place.

"Listen I was running from the forest i found a portal and entered my sister was shot by a poisonous arrow and I'm looking for a cure." I told them meekly, in any case they decided to tell their prince.

"Shot by an arrow?"They looked shock "We know how you could cure that".

"Really?" I asked happily.

"Yeah, only cure is the blue colored cherry potion. It's a mixture of magic nectar with the last spice of blue berry and it's with the royal families. The royal families don't actually live around here, so have this map to guide your way, make sure you save your sister before one week, otherwise she would die"they explained.

I was scared, the map was full of dangerous places , hills to climb, rivers to cross and how could i possibly take kira along, i don't wanna leave her alone here, since the prince wouldn't be pleased.

I wanted to ask one more question but the elves were gone.

"Shit i cursed angrily. I wondered why all these are happening the worse is my dress is torn, I might meet some people at the way.

I sat next to my sister and patted her head. "I promise to get the potion." I whispered in her ears

Right now i have to read this map and find the name of the kingdom.

Prince silver POV.

I sat at my bed drawing the plan for my new garden,while my magic mirror glowed, as i looked into it, i saw a girl's back, the figure was dress in a rough way, and was entering my garden. I hated to see people enter my garden, the place i had took long to build, i suffered while building that garden, i used all of my magical abilities to make all seasons be in there. I made the castle, the caverns and trees and people are just thinking it was a fairy land.

But really only men enter inside my garden, no female had ever step foot into it before, men, boys, and other magical male always come in there.

I was surprised to see the long curly hair flying in the girl's head due to the wind, this female might be a very magic princess or someone to have even noticed the portal, i had to check it out i must see who is this lucky girl, i quickly closed the book and wore my robe, ready to go, not when my personal guard knocked at my door.

"Morgan, is there a problem?"I asked impatiently. I was already lost in my own thoughts on how i would meet this princess.

"Your highness, their majesties are ready to go" He told me.

Oh I had forgotten, my parents had a meeting with the generals and for the first time as a crowned prince, i had to go along to meet with this peoples, all annoying, i hate royal things. I sighed again, mother would be so furious if i didn't come along with them, perhaps the intruder princess had to wait, this is very important.

Our kingdom was the greatest kingdom among all ten kingdoms, it was khandland, ot has fertile soil and good green pastures.

We ruled all the humans there, they were hardly any ice person, or magic person on khandland.

"Alright" I told Morgan, i took my sword and went out of the room.

My parents were waiting patiently at the throne room,

"Silver, mother smiled, and came to hug me,"I was waiting for you"

"Good Morning mom," Itold her.

Mother was just forty two years old and she still looked younger. My mom was the best, despite i was twenty five years mother would still hold me and dote me like i was a five year old boy, but to be frank i liked it and it made me feel like back then. "Mother aren't we gonna go there?"I asked as i noticed she and dad waiting.

"Oh my dear son, we can't make it anymore, general Collins is really ill and without him the meeting can't take a hold." Father told me.

"Really?" I exclaimed happily. To the extent that my parents were surprised. "Were you expecting someone special?"Mother asked me teasingly.

"No mom, I wanted some free time to draw my plans i lied and mother smiled.

I happily returned to my room to take off my robe, i wore my black pair of pants and a blue shirt, with gumboots, i took my sword and went out.

I climbed my Pegasus and rode off.

I arrived at my garden, and smiled, i was happy that this was my work, i checked everywhere and it was intact.

Now i have to trace the scent of this girl. I followed the metallic smell of blood, till i got to a cavern.

'Could this lady be in this cavern?' I thought.

But alas i saw a little girl sleeping inside there, there was a barricade made of sharp ice. Someone might have used this to protect the sleeping girl, the girl had a long sword in her back.

who could have done such thing to a kid. The arrow seemed poisonous, and it had affected the girl, she was in a sleeping death.

I felt like carrying the girl back home, but on the other hand i felt like leaving the place.

Next thing i saw was a sharp sword arrow thrown at me, i was active enough to dodge, i turned and saw an average height girl wearing a light blue dress, half of her face was covered with a blue long veil.

The lady threw another arrow ice at me, she seem to be an ice person and she could make it from her hands. I quickly brought out my sword ready to fight.

"What do you want with my sister?"She asked me with a bold voice.
