"Eloise Anthony, I Ainsley Williams the Alpha of the Litha Night Walker pack, reject you as my mate. From this moment onward I sever the moon goddess fate and bond between us. You are hereby denied the opportunity of being my mate." He paused and looked at her "A scheming and a murderer like you deserve nothing but death" She looked at him and the bitterness in her throat growing every second. "I, Eloise Anthony, the daughter of Golden Moon Pack Alpha refused your rejection Alpha Ainsley Williams"

Chapter 1 Pay Her Back!

"She's all yours now. Do whatever you want with her."

I curled up on the ground, listening as the man in front of me, Alex, the Beta of the Litha Night Walker Pack, gave his final orders to the Scamp.

"You'll experience the same pain and humiliations my sister Aura experienced," he said, looking at me with a dark intensity, his tone tinged with a hint of bloodthirsty emotion.

"Aura, my little sister, was a sweet girl. She's never been to a pub or entered the Scamp Forest alone. But now she was found ra*ed and murdered there. Your mate, Alpha Ainsley, and I went through Aura's phone, and we found out that right before the accident, you called her. The last message on her phone was to you. Where were you, Eloise?" As Alex stared at me, his eyes were filled with hatred and killing intent.

"Alex, I am in need of your attention. I am not responsible for the death of Aura. I have an important message to convey to Alpha Ainsley. Please listen to me." I pleaded and he looked at me with a mocking smile.

"Shut up! You have no right to speak his name!" He loomed over me, his gaze making me feel like I was nothing but trash. Behind him, five Scamps were shining with excitement, their eyes fixed on me as if they had found their prey. I knew I had to fight for my life, or I would be torn apart the second Alex left. "My father is the Alpha of the Golden moon Pack and I'm only here to see Alpha Ainsley. Are you trying to break the peace between the packs?" I shouted behind him, but he looked at me and scoffed.

"You fuc*ing bi*ch, you're stupid! Don't you realize that you're Alpha Ainsley's mate and that he can sense that you're here and also in danger? My innocent sister, You got her killed just because you were jealous of Alpha Ainsley's love for her. Listen Eloise Alpha Ainsley wants to kill you more than I do!" He turned back towards his home without even glancing at me, leaving me alone in the woods. The five Scamps no longer held back, rushing towards me, tearing my clothes apart. As the daughter of the Alpha of the Golden moon Pack, I have always received excellent combat training. Normally, five Scamps wouldn't pose much of a threat to me. However, after three days and nights of torture without food or water, I was completely weak and didn't have the strength to fight them off. I fought with all my might against the five Scamps, yearning for my mate, Alpha Ainsley, to sense the danger I was in and to rescue me. But he didn't show up. At that moment, I couldn't help but wonder if everything was truly orchestrated by my mate. Was he incapable of killing me himself, so did he send others to humiliate me?

"Ah!"

My vision was becoming increasingly blurry, my body engulfed in unbearable pain. It felt as if my feet were heavy as stones, becoming impossible to lift. At that moment, one of the Scamps grabbed my wrist, his jagged, untrimmed nails digging deep into my flesh, drawing a long line of blood from my wrist. Before I could react, another rough, calloused hand squeezed my neck tightly. A Scamp grabbed me from behind, holding me firmly and immobilizing me. Hot breath sprayed the main artery in my neck.

I knew the enemy's fangs were dangerously close to my most vulnerable spot. The third Renegade stepped forward and grabbed my legs, pulling hard. I was stretched out on the ground, my legs spread wide by them. They had lustful smiles on their faces. I struggled desperately, but I was weak, and with each attempt to break free, the Renegade's nails stuck on my wrist deeper.

The fourth Scamp couldn't wait any longer and quickly pulled off his pants, exposing his grotesque manhood in front of me. As my legs were held by two more Scamps, he approached me, moistening his disgusting erection with saliva before moving towards my lower body. I gave up my last fight with a bitter smile.

Aura, you were dead and I became a killer... - I don't know how you died, but evidently, you were luckier than me. Your brother loved you, and Ainsley loved you too...

The world before my eyes plunged into darkness, and I felt the nauseating breath of the Scamp approaching. Just as the Renegade touched my skin, I suddenly felt the strength drain from my neck, wrists, and legs. They all released their hold on me, and I lay sprawled on the ground, staring blankly at the sky, unable to comprehend what had just happened.

It wasn't until I heard a set of footsteps... They were firm and merciless, like the strikes of a death knell. Then, I smelled the most pleasant scent in the air. I recognized it immediately. Then, a pair of black leather ankle boots appeared before my eyes. It had been raining all day, but there was not a hint of dirt on this pair of boots. I immediately recognized who it was, Alpha Ainsley, my mate.

My mind went blank with a single question on my mind is that Death or my salvation approaching?

Ainsley's POV

"Get away from me"

These were the sound I heard as I stood on the watchtower of the Pack House staring into the distance. This is where the guards patrol to watch the borders, allowing a view of all the boundaries of the Litha Night Walker Pack, including the Forest of Shadows. I couldn't tell how long I had been standing there.

I watched as the woman in the distance continued to kick and push the Scamp that approached her, but they continued to attack relentlessly. Despite her small body frame, she fought like a lion. No Scamp could get close to her. She was the daughter of the Alpha and she upheld her honour. One after another, they were taken down by her.

"Alpha Ainsley, I have brought Eloise to the Forest of Shadows as per your orders"

My Beta, Alex, spoke as he returned to my side he stood silently as we both watched the ongoing battle in the distance.

"The Alpha of the Golden moon Pack wishes to speak with you my Alpha"

I waved my glass. Hearing Alex's words, I looked away from Eloise.

"Inform the Alpha of the Golden moon Pack that he must choose between Eloise and his pack. If he wants to keep his pack intact, then his daughter Eloise must leave." All I could think of at that moment was the pain and humiliation Aura must have passed through.

"Then tell the werewolf college to cancel Eloise's degree. Then, she won't be able to get a decent job in human society; she will be employed with a high school diploma. And," I looked at my glass, "Send her to the prison." Alex was shocked by my words. He raised his head and said, "Alpha Ainsley?"

"She killed our girl, so I'm sending her to prison for three years. Beta Alex, don't you agree with me? I decided to send Eloise to prison for three years. She had no right to aspire to be my Luna, let alone harm the woman I loved. Although the current evidence may not be enough to prove Eloise's guilt, I believe she is the one who killed Aura."

She deserves to die from any perspective. It's just that my wolf is constantly howling in my mind, begging me not to harm her mate. Otherwise, I would personally kill her.

"No, Alpha Ainsley, you did the right thing. "Thank you." Alex's eyes suddenly turned red, and he began to cry.

"If it weren't for you, Eloise wouldn't have been punished for what she did to Aura."

"She's from another pack, so I can't do anything about it."

I turned to the window. Eloise seemed to have lost much of her strength, her body was swaying, and I could clearly feel her growing weak. I watched as a Scamp grab her hand and another sneak up behind her, I felt a suffocating sensation, and my wolf began to grow restless. "Save her! "She's our girl!" My wolf howled loudly in my mind, relentlessly trying to take control of my body to save Eloise.

However, as I witnessed her legs being forced apart by two Scamps, my gaze darkened. I drank the rest of the liquor and looked at the Beta standing beside me. "Beta Alex, I'm doing this not because Aura is your sister, but because Aura is the woman I love." I spoke word for word, and once I was done, I knew there was something I needed to address... Arriving at the Forest of Shadows, the woman before me lay naked on the ground, her petite body intact. The power of the bond made me want to tear the Scamp apart. She stared blankly at the sky, but her eyes lit up again only when she saw me.

"Alpha Ainsley... please listen to me..." Eloise muttered in a low, almost inaudible voice.

"What have you done to Aura?" I looked at her blood-stained face and asked. "I... didn't... kill... her..." Eloise whispered. She said stubbornly and looked at me straight in her eyes. I pinched her chin. After losing my beloved, I wanted to shatter the pride in her eyes. "You didn't kill her." But you lured her into the Forest of Shadows and revealed her whereabouts to the Scamp. They came and took turns to rape her before strangling her to death. That's what you did to her, wasn't it? Eloise shook her head violently. Blood and tears were streaming down her head. Some of them landed on my fingers. I pulled my fingers away and pulled out a handkerchief to wipe it off.

"I understand that you have feelings for me, Miss Anthony..." "...But I never expected you to love me enough to have Aura killed." I continued my monologue. "You really are special. "I shouldn't have underestimated you."

"No... It's not like that..." Eloise tried to open her mouth to scream, but ended up choking on her own blood. I grabbed her by the shoulders. My fingers dug into her flesh like two huge pincers. "You're trapped by me now. Tell me, Miss Anthony. What do you think I'll do with you?" Touching her body almost felt like setting myself on fire. I couldn't control myself, damned mate bond! Like floods breaking through the dam, like rain falling to the ground. No one could sever the connection between two werewolves. Eloise raised her head, not knowing what would happen next. I leaned forward, and my hand slid all the way down and grabbed her. "You really are a despicable woman, aren't you?" I voiced. "You like this, don't you?"

"Please don't... Don't do this to me..." she moaned in shame. "Your body tells a different story," I said in a cold and dispassionate voice.

"You desire this. "You crave this so much that you would rather kill an innocent girl." I squeezed so hard that she screamed in pain. "You disgust me."

I looked into her eyes and spoke out each word. "It should have been you." Hearing those words, she stared at me, her face filled with shock. "The one who should be killed is you, Eloise Anthony."

Chapter 2 Rejection

Eloise's POV

"It should have been you."

My body trembles uncontrollably, and a sharp pain shoots through my chest. Ainsley turned around, revealing a cold smile. His rigid face looked indifferent and cruel. He hates me because everyone thinks I killed Aura. I staggered to my feet, trembling inside. My legs were numb, so I fell back to the ground. Ainsley's ice-cold voice echoed in my ears once again.

"In the name of the MoonGoddess...... I raised my head, staring at the man in disbelief knowing what he was about to do. He must have hate me so much. "Ainsley! No... You can't reject me. You don't know how much I love you! Please, let me explain... Please..." He paid no heed to my pleas, simply continuing in his low, chilling voice.

"I, Ainsley william, Alpha of the Litha Night WalkerPack, reject Eloise Anthony as my mate."

Immediately, a wrenching pain shot through my entire body. My wolf screamed in my head, "We need Ainsley. Go beg him, and put aside your pride. Damn you, Eloise, go beg him for forgiveness!" In my mind, there was a deafening buzzing, sometimes feeling like an impending explosion, other times like drowning. I looked at the man who had rejected me. He remained impassive, as if I were facing unwanted trash.

I knew he expected me to accept his rejection, but as the daughter of the Alpha of the Golden moon Pack, I had my pride. "I don't need his forgiveness, I didn't do anything wrong," I told my wolf, ignoring her curses. At that moment, I heard my wolf's inner howl. The pain was too overwhelming for me. I pressed my heart and spat some blood on the ground. I thought my heart had already broken into a thousand pieces, but somehow I still managed to feel pain.

At that moment, something more powerful and stronger rose from my pain. It was hate. I wiped the blood dripping from my mouth and smiled at Ainsley. "Do you want to cut the connection between us, Alpha Ainsley? I'm afraid that will never happen." I hissed.

Ainsley looked shocked. He had never thought that I wouldn't accept his rejection. I looked away from him, closed my eyes, and immersed myself in the pain of rejection until my world was plunged into darkness. By the time I opened my eyes again, I was still lying on the ground in the Forest of Shadows.

Ainsley was nowhere to be seen, only his Beta Alex was nearby. Seeing me awake, he said coldly, "This is the fate you deserve for killing my sister, Eloise Anthony!" He said and then turned around. I stood up shakily, dragging my soaked and exhausted body back to the Golden moon Pack. Two uniformed werewolves were already waiting for me. "Miss Anthony, we suspect that you had something to do with Aura Arnold's death. You need to come with us now." I looked at my people, hoping that someone would step forward and help me, but no one did. One of them said, "I'm sorry, Eloise. The Alpha gave an order this morning to banish you from our pack."You are now a scamp and we have nothing to do with you from now on. I was shocked. "I am innocent." I said to the people in a low voice before walking away with the uniformed man. No one seemed to hear what I had said. Before I was sent to the werewolf prison, I saw Ainsley standing at the entrance of the werewolf council hall, waiting for me. "Do you want to confess right now?" he asked. "I could easily ask the court to change its verdict. You will be released immediately if you admit to killing Aura."

"For a thousand times. I did not kill Aura," I said in a determined voice. My eyes were filled with tears of anger and shame. I thought I had already stopped loving the man who sent me to prison, but now I still found him irresistible.

"In that case..." Ainsley slowly walked towards me with the aura of an Alpha. I, now as a scamp, could not stand the pressing intimidation of Ainsley's aura and lowered my head. Ainsley lifted my chin and continued, "Eloise Anthony, I hope you enjoy your time in jail for killing the woman I love. I've heard they hate blondes in prison." I gathered my strength, looked into his eyes and said, "Alpha Ainsley, so what? I haven't accepted your rejection. I'm still your mate. I'm still the future Luna of the Litha Night WalkerPack..."

"You..." "Time's up, officers," I said to the uniformed man waiting to the side. They braced themselves and pulled me away from Ainsley. "No, you can't take her! I'm not done here yet!" He sounded a little annoyed, trying to pull me back. One of the officers told him, "I'm sorry, Alpha Ainsley, but the law is the law. She has to go now. She has to report to jail by noon." I smiled wryly at my mate as I walked away with the officers. I expected Ainsley to go crazy. But no. He regained his composure and said in a deep, calm voice, "You will regret not accepting my rejection today, Miss Anthony.

Ainsley walked away after finishing his words. He was taking revenge on Eloise. Eloise looked pale and couldn't utter a word.

Soon, the werewolf guard took her away and locked her in the underground prison. Life in the prison wasn't easy. On the first night, Eloise was shaken in her sleep. "What do you want?" she cautiously looked at the werewolves surrounding her with malicious smiles. "Don't come closer, or I'll call the guards," she said in horror.

The werewolves weren't afraid at all. They looked at each other and laughed. Their leader pointed at Eloise's face and asked, "What did you say? Call the guards? Did I hear you right? Do you want to call the guards?" As she spoke, she slapped Eloise and roared. "Go ahead and call the guards!" Eloise lost her balance and her ears were ringing. She pressed her hand against the wall and managed to get up. Then, she made a sudden movement: she slapped the leader. For a moment, there was silence in the cell. No one expected Eloise, a fragile werewolf, to have the courage to fight back. The burly werewolf went mad from the slap. Her eyes turned red as she screamed, "Damn it! Bitch! Hit her! I'll cripple her! Alpha Ainsley said we didn't need to show her mercy! We can hit her all we want!" Eloise was shocked. She felt a sharp pain running from her heart to her limbs. She roared inside: "Ainsley! Ainsley told them to do

Ainsley asked them to hit me!" Eloise trembled; her heart froze. That was why the guards didn't come to check after making so much noise. And these werewolves were so reckless. Eloise looked at the werewolves. She stood up and ran to the door, grabbed the iron bars on the door and shouted, "Help! Help! I've been beaten!"

Even though she knew that no guards would come, she still begged for help. Her actions were useless. Eloise thought that maybe there was the slightest chance that Ainsley would not let the werewolves bully her.

She still had faith in Ainsley, that he would not be so cruel to her. Suddenly, Eloise screamed. Someone pulled her hair. She stumbled and fell to the ground. She had never been in such a sorry state. Then someone picked Eloise up.

The werewolves kept hitting and kicking her. She moaned on the ground miserably. She wanted to change, but she couldn't. After being rejected by her partner, Eloise's wolf was sad and weak and couldn't help her change.

The guard didn't come. So she realized that Ainsley had really asked them to beat her. She stopped screaming, giving up on fighting those werewolves. Laughter echoed in her ears. Eloise called for help, not because she was afraid of being beaten, but because she still had faith in Ainsley.

After they got tired of beating her, they went to sleep. Eloise lay on the floor in pain, her tears running down the corners of her eyes. She had never been bullied like this and she had never been so ashamed. She had fallen in love with Ainsley, her mate, chosen by the Moon Goddess. But why did she have to endure Ainsley's anger and hatred after Aura was killed? After the incident, Eloise told everyone around her: I didn't hurt Aura. No matter how hard she tried, no one believed her. She told people that she didn't ask Aura to go to the other side of the Forest of Shadows.

It was Aura who was curious about the place where the Scamp lurked and asked her for an adventure. In the eyes of others, Eloise was the daughter of the Alpha, proud and brave, while Aura was sweet, obedient and shy. So how could Aura have offered to go to such a dangerous place? That day, Eloise's car broke down just as she was going to meet Aura, so she was late for her date, but no one believed Eloise. Everyone thought she was lying. They believed that she tricked Aura into going to the Forest of Shadows and paid the Scamp to humiliate and rape Aura. Eloise didn't need to do that because Aura often said, "Eloise, I have no feelings for Ainsley. He's not my mate." If Aura was Ainsley's mate, Eloise would stay away from Ainsley. But she was Ainsley's mate. The Scamp probably knew they were in deep trouble and ran away without a trace. No one knew where they went. The country is vast, they could be hiding anywhere. Eloise wanted to catch those Scamp more than anyone else.

She cried silently. After the incident, she was sent to the werewolf prison. But she insisted that she was innocent and hadn't committed a crime. But now, she realized that she deserved to die, as long as Ainsley considered her guilty. What happened today was all part of Ainsley's plan. Eloise didn't know that, in her next life in prison, there would be more "Alpha Ainsley's orders" waiting for her.

Chapter 3 Lost Identity

The Eloise the world once knew no longer existed.

Curled into the corner of the damp prison cell, her arms wrapped tightly around her knees, Eloise stared at nothing. He did it... He really did it. I don't exist anymore. Her chest tightened. Not from the cold, but from something far worse. Emptiness.

Who am I now? she thought. A ghost... a forgotten girl rotting in a cell like trash.

The metallic clang of heavy boots echoed in the corridor the next morning. Then, suddenly a harsh shove knocked her over.

"Hey! Wake up, rat! Go clean the damn bathroom!" a rough voice barked.

A scream followed. "She's..... she's dead!"

Someone else scurried over, kneeling beside Eloise's still form.

"Shut up!" snapped another voice. "She's breathing. Look, barely. But she's alive."

A guard was called. The door slammed open. But nobody comforted her. No one touched her gently. Why would they? She wasn't Eloise anymore. She was just an inmate. Just a criminal.

---

Three years later...

The streets felt foreign beneath her bare, cracked feet. Eloise shuffled through the crowd, a tattered plastic bag clutched in one hand. It held the sum of her life noe, three dollars and an old, wrinkled ID card. Her skin was pale, bruised in places, and a scar about two centimeters long slashed across her cheek, a permanent reminder of who she used to be... and who she could never be again.

She paused at a shop window. Her reflection stared back, thin, hollow-eyed, a shadow of the Alpha's daughter she once was. She blinked slowly, then turned her attention to a worn-out flyer taped to the glass.

"Cleaners Wanted. Lodging and Lunch Provided."

Her lips parted slightly. A whisper of a laugh escaped.

"Lodging and lunch... what a luxury," she murmured, then pushed open the heavy glass door beneath the sign marked: Club Scarlet Heart.

A blast of cold air slapped her across the face. Shivering, she stepped inside.

A sleek woman behind the front counter looked up with narrowed eyes. Her lips curled in annoyance.

"Name," she snapped.

"Eloise," came the reply, hoarse, gravelly, the sound of ruin.

The woman blinked in surprise and nearly dropped her pen. "What the hell happened to your voice?" Her tone dripped with disgust.

Eloise didn't flinch. "Smoke," she replied plainly. "It damaged my throat."

The woman tilted her head, eyes narrowing with suspicion. "You mean... a fire?"

Eloise nodded once. "Yes. A fire."

The air went tense. The woman tapped the pen against her clipboard, staring hard.

"Scarlet Heart isn't a normal club," she said finally, her voice sharper. "Our guests are... special."

"I'm not applying to be a hostess," Eloise said quietly. "Just a cleaner."

The woman's brows lifted. She gave Eloise a once-over, her lip curling again.

"You don't even look like you belong in this building. You're not fit to be a waitress, let alone...."

"I said I'll clean," Eloise interrupted. Her voice cracked mid-sentence, but her gaze remained steady.

"I'd be an escort if I could," she added bitterly. "But I know what I look like. I'm not here to pretend I'm something I'm not. I just need work... and a bed."

The woman stared. For a moment, she said nothing. Then, slowly, she sat back down, picked up the pen, and scribbled something on the paper.

"You're hired," she said bluntly.

Eloise's brows furrowed. She hadn't expected that. The woman looked up again, eyes sharp. "Do you know why I'm giving you a chance?"

Eloise remained silent.

"Because you're real," the woman said. "You know what you are. Most girls walk in here with makeup thick enough to paint a car and dreams bigger than their talent. You're... different."

"I don't have dreams anymore," Eloise said softly. The woman hesitated. "I'm Rachael. You'll report to me."

Eloise gave a slight nod.

"And another thing," Rachael added, her tone lower now, almost cautious. "Scarlet Heart... isn't just a club. Not for humans. You... human?"

Eloise smiled faintly. "Does it matter?"

Rachael blinked, then turned away. "Just follow the rules."

Over the next few months, Eloise worked in silence. She scrubbed, wiped, cleaned, and endured. She didn't speak much. She didn't look anyone in the eye. And that made her the perfect target.

"You're in my way again, scum."

A waitress bumped into her, hard. "Move faster, rat. I'll tell Rachael you're slacking off."

"Didn't you see how ugly she was? I heard she had no home or family"

"Yeah, she doesn't even look human or werewolf. She's barely even one of us anymore."

The voices buzzed around her like flies. She kept her head down. No response. Not anymore.

"Look at her... so pathetic."

But the worst was when she realized the others were right, her wolf, her spirit, her strength, it was fading. She could no longer feel it stir inside her. One morning, she tried to shift, to connect, to feel but there was only silence.

Eloise was no longer a werewolf.

.....

One afternoon, while she was cleaning near the bar, a waitress stormed over.

"VIP Room. Wine spill. Go clean it up."

Eloise nodded. "Alright."

The waitress scoffed. "Again with the damn silence. You really are creepy. If I were you, I'd just jump off a cliff."

Eloise didn't respond.

"Hey! Are you even listening?" The waitress shoved her shoulder. "Slacking off again? You think you're above this?"

"No," Eloise said simply.

"Hmph. You better not ruin this job too. Go take the cargo elevator. You stink."

Eloise blinked. "I don't....."

"You heard me! Go!"

Without another word, she turned and walked toward the back hallway. It doesn't matter. Let them say what they want.

The elevator doors creaked open. She froze.

Inside the dim-lit cargo elevator, a tall man was pressing a curvy woman against the wall. Their kiss was slow and deep, heated and shameless. The woman's moans echoed off the steel walls. Eloise stood frozen. I shouldn't be here. But her legs refused to move.

The man's hand slid along the woman's thigh. His voice was low. "You're making too much noise."

The woman giggled. "You started it."

Eloise turned, ready to walk away quietly. Then the man's head lifted, and his gaze locked with hers. Eloise's heart stopped.

She knew that look. That power. That unmistakable aura. He's an Alpha.

Her breathing hitched. She backed away a step.

The woman turned lazily, glancing at Eloise. "Ugh, a cleaner? Seriously?" she sneered, pulling her dress back over her shoulder.

But the man hadn't looked away. His eyes bore into Eloise like he was trying to remember something. Her scar. Her eyes. Her silence.

"You," he said, voice sharp.

Eloise's hands gripped the mop handle tighter.

"I'm sorry," she whispered. "I didn't mean to interrupt......"
