Mated To A Witch

Author: : Blackgurl riri
Genre: Werewolf
In a country called Coastland, there is one president who rules over all the kingdoms, including the werewolf Kingdom led by King Logan Rutherford the 3rd. However, President Raymond was murdered and a fingerprint on the weapon led investigators to Ronin, the second son of King Logan. The werewolf community immediately banished Ronin without allowing him to explain himself, and he is now a fugitive wanted by the law. A reward has been offered for his capture, dead or alive. Kade, the vampire prince, attempted to shoot Ronin with a silver bullet, causing him to fall from a six-story building. However, when Kade went to retrieve him, Ronin was nowhere to be found, only his blood remained.

Chapter 1 Framed for killing the president

Standing atop the six-story building was Ronin, a six-foot-tall fugitive wanted for the death of the president. He faced off against Kade, the vampire prince who was determined to capture him by any means necessary.

Ronin knew he had many enemies, including Kade, who was no match for him in a fair fight. However, the law wanted Ronin dead or alive, so he sensed danger when he realized Kade was carrying wolfsbane. Ronin was a werewolf, while Kade was a vampire, and the two hated each other.

"Im going to capture you, whether dead or alive," Kade snarled, showing his fangs. Ronin bared his fur, hair, and eyes, ready to charge at Kade.

"What will you do then? he growled. Kade smirked.

"Oh, you don't know? I'm going to kill you, he said, attempting to stab Ronin. Ronin dodged the attack with his werewolf speed and scratched Kade with his claws, causing him to scream in pain.

Kade punched Ronin with his vampire strength, but Ronin retaliated by slashing at Kade with his paws. Kade tried to compel Ronin, but he resisted.

In the end, Kade shot Ronin with a silver bullet, causing him to fall from the building.

Freya winced in pain as an invisible rope tightened around her neck, making it difficult to breathe. Reagan, who took pleasure in bullying Freya, had cast a spell on her.

Sloan tried to stop Reagan, warning her that Freya would die if she didn't stop. Freya struggled to speak as the rope choked her, and her legs dangled in the air.

Reagan laughed at her weakness, but Sloan intervened and loosened the rope with a spell, causing Freya to thud onto the ground.

She lay there, breathing hard and crying, feeling like a mockery in the witchcraft community.

As she walked home, she couldn't help but curse her powerlessness. Despite not being in the mood for a taxi, she made the trek. Suddenly, a gunshot rang out, and she felt an inexplicable force pulling her toward the source of the sound. Upon arriving, she saw a wounded werewolf lying on the ground, groaning in pain and fighting for his life.

She recognized him as the wanted criminal accused of killing the president. Her heart raced as she cast a spell to help her lift him. Though she didn't understand why she was aiding a fugitive, one thing was clear: she felt a strong connection to this werewolf named Ronin.

***

Upon opening his eyes, Ronin realized that someone had carried him from where he was shot the previous night. However, he wasn't in handcuffs or prison. Instead, he found himself in a small, intricately decorated bedroom that he recognized as belonging to a woman. As if on cue, a young woman in her early twenties entered the room, carrying a bowl of water.

"You're awake, she said, sitting down beside him and attempting to place a damp towel on his forehead. Ronin instinctively grabbed her hand, but their eyes met and he realized she posed no threat.

"It is okay, I won't hurt you, she spoke softly, causing Ronin to scoff. Despite his skepticism, he couldn't sense any danger emanating from her. As he checked the spot where he had been shot, he realized that he was already healing.

Ronin held her hand and looked into her eyes, asking,

"Who are you?

"I'm Freya, she winced in pain as Reagan's spells had cursed her neck from hurting her.

Ronin noticed the redness on her neck but didn't pry into her business. He felt a sense of calmness around her and wondered why this fragile girl had helped him, a fugitive.

"Why did you help me when you know Im a fugitive? Ronin asked, still staring at her

Freya struggled to speak and swallow before finally replying,

"Is that the thank you I get for saving your ass? A little gratitude won't hurt. Ronin smiled and sat down beside her, muttering a small "thanks.

Freya couldn't help but notice how handsome Ronin was. His sharp and masculine features were cute, but his ocean-blue eyes were mesmerizing.

"You haven't told me who you are, Ronin said.

"I already told you my name, you moron, Freya cursed, immediately regretting her words.

Ronin clarified, "No, I meant where are we? A vampire kingdom? A siren?

"Im a witch, Freya interrupted. Ronin realized the danger of being in the presence of a witch and was about to leave when a woman of his age walked in, shocked at who she saw.

"Mackenzie...Freya called out to Mackenzie, her voice trembling with fear. Ronin observed as a girl, slightly older than Freya, entered the room. She appeared shocked to see him there, as he was a wanted criminal, which made her angry.

"Isn't that the wanted werewolf? she questioned, causing Freya to quickly rise and pull her sister out of the bedroom.

***

"Freya, why did you bring a fugitive to our home in the witchcraft kingdom? Are you his accomplice? Mackenzie asked, her voice filled with anger. Freya remained silent, unsure of what to say. She didn't want Ronin to hear their argument.

"You're hiding and helping a wanted criminal who killed the president, Mackenzie said through gritted teeth. Freya stayed quiet, trying to ignore her sister's fury. She could feel the tension in the air.

"I'm sorry, Freya finally apologized.

"Mum will be furious when she finds out. Werewolves and witches don't mix, and this werewolf happens to be a wanted criminal. What were you thinking? Mackenzie yelled, but Freya quickly closed her mouth to prevent Ronin from hearing.

"I'll tell Mum, Mackenzie threatened.

"No, please. Mum will be angry with me. Please, sister, Freya begged, but Mackenzie was too angry and stormed off to her room.

With his super hearing, Ronin quickly stood up upon hearing the conversation between Freya and MacKenzie. Being a wolf, he could hear from far distances, allowing him to hear their discussion.

He knew he had to leave immediately as this place belonged to a witch, witches, and werewolves didn't mix well. Ronin donned his black hoodie and opened the window, preparing to jump down.

As he made his escape, Oaklyn, Freya's mother, saw him climbing down from her daughter's window but didn't recognize him as the wanted criminal. Ronin passed her without saying a word and quickly left the area.

Meanwhile, inside the house, MacKenzie was fuming with rage while Freya couldn't find Ronin in her room. She assumed he had overheard their conversation and went out to search for him.

Freya quickly changed into a pink hoodie and black leggings put on her white boots and headed downstairs with a concerned expression on her face.

She found her mother sitting near the table, she greeted her but didn't wait for a reply before hurrying out of the house.

As Freya made her way through the trees, she winced as branches scratched her skin. Despite the danger, she felt an overwhelming urge to be near Ronin. She was headed to the werewolf Kingdom, fully aware that it was risky for a witch like her to be there.

Normally, Freya would feel safe with her magical abilities, but she had yet to gain her powers. She was more of a druid than a witch and had no magical abilities to speak of. She stopped herself from rethinking her decision to be near Ronin, wondering why she was drawn to him. She couldn't comprehend it.

Freya knew there was something about Ronin that made her powers work, but she couldn't figure out what it was. She whispered his name, careful not to alert anyone to his presence. Ronin was a wanted man, so she had to be careful. Meanwhile, Ronin watched Freya from a thick branch of a mango tree.

He smiled at her silliness. Freya heard footsteps and her heart raced. She wondered if it was Ronin. She shouldn't have been there, and she felt a shiver run down her spine. She turned her head and saw a tall man wearing royal clothing.

"I can smell that you're not one of us, the man said, sending fear through Freyas body. He stepped closer to her, and she backed away until she hit a tree. She stared into his dark brown eyes. He smelled her and Freya gasped.

"You're a witch, aren't you? he asked. Freya wondered how he could tell. Even Ronin couldn't detect that she was a witch. She nodded her head.

"Why are you here? he asked again. Freya gulped.

"Im looking for someone, she said. The man smirked.

"Who? he asked. Freya looked down.

"My friend, but I think I went the wrong way, she said, slowly walking away. The man didn't stop her. He just watched as she left the woods.

As the witch hurried away, Seirgo observed her with a sense of certainty that she was both frightened and mendacious. He pivoted and detected the unmistakable scent of his sibling, his olfactory sense being one of his most potent abilities.

He had used it to discern the woman's identity as a witch, and he could also tell that Ronin was nearby, perhaps covertly observing him.

"Reveal yourself, little brother, Seirgo beckoned, prompting Ronin to leap down from the mango tree. The two werewolves bared their teeth, ready to pounce at any moment. Seirgo growled menacingly, but Ronin was not intimidated and growled back with audacity.

Chapter 2 Ronin, wanted by the law dead or alive

Since they were young, Seirgo and Ronin, the two sons of Alpha King Logan Rutherford III, harbored a deep hatred towards each other.

Seirgo, being the first and favored son, was always treated kindly while Ronin received less love from their parents. Ronin never experienced the warmth of parental love.

Despite their constant bickering and fighting, Ronin always emerged victorious, which only fueled Seirgo's anger. He couldn't understand why his younger brother was more powerful than him, even though he was the firstborn. Seirgo feared that Ronin would take the throne from him.

However, when Ronin was accused of killing the president and declared wanted, Seirgo felt relieved. He was no longer intimidated by his brother and could finally claim the throne without any threat from Ronin.

The two brothers snarled at each other, their lack of love for one another evident. They were on the brink of transforming into their werewolf forms, but Seirgo had not come for that reason.

"Why did you summon me? Seirgo asked, his anger subsiding.

"Are you happy now that Im finally out of your miserable life? Are you happy that I'm a wanted criminal? Ronin asked, irritated. Seirgo remained silent, his lips curling in annoyance and his nostrils flaring with anger.

" Do you believe I killed Raymond? Ronin demanded. Seirgo scoffed at Ronin's lack of respect for the deceased president, having referred to him by his name.

"That's not the issue at hand. How can I believe you when you don't even show respect for the dead? Seirgo retorted. Ronin persisted in wanting to know if his brother thought he was responsible for the president's death.

Seirgo knew that Ronin could never commit such a heinous act, but he could not admit it. The two brothers had been at odds since childhood, but Seirgo knew Ronin's capabilities and limitations.

Killing President Raymond was something Ronin could never do. Although Seirgo knew that Ronin had been framed for the president's murder, he could not bring himself to admit that his brother was innocent.I don't know what to believe.

"Your fingerprints were found on the weapon used to kill President Raymond. Thats enough evidence, Seirgo said,

Ronin smirked, clenching his fists in anger.

"That's why everyone abandoned me, the entire werewolf community. That's why Dad banned me from ever setting foot in the community again, Ronin continued, frustrated. Seirgo knew that Ronin was furious, and he could see the anger in his brother's eyes.

Ronin had many enemies in Coastland, but Seirgo could not fathom who would frame him for such a serious crime.

The Werewolf Kingdom was renowned for its stunning environment, with trees and plants boasting a vibrant emerald green hue that reflected the beauty and richness of the area.

As Seirgo walked past the people, they greeted him warmly, but his mind was clouded with thoughts of the person who had killed the president and framed his brother, Ronin.

Despite knowing that Ronin was innocent, Seirgo couldn't bring himself to admit it. He changed course and headed towards the royal castle to see his mother. After passing through numerous corridors, Seirgo arrived outside his mother's chamber.

She welcomed him warmly, and they sat down to talk. Seirgo asked his mother if she believed Ronin had killed the president, but she pointed out that Ronin's fingerprints had been found at the scene of the crime. She urged Seirgo to focus on his training and the throne and to capture Ronin if he saw him.

Seirgo couldn't bear the thought of his innocent brother being punished for a crime he didn't commit, and he asked his mother if she felt any motherly love for Ronin. She didn't reply immediately, but eventually, she told Seirgo that Ronin needed to be caught to settle the matter.

Queen Makayla was sobbing as she responded to her son's plea.

"I cannot bear to witness my child being executed for a wrongdoing he did not commit.

"I understand, Mom, Siergo comforted her.

"But the law says Ronin is guilty. He has always been reckless, hanging out with the wrong crowd and staying out late. Despite your efforts to raise him better, he has made some poor choices.

"However, this does not mean he deserves to face such a severe punishment, but the law must take its course, his mother replied, wiping away her tears.

"Your father and I are not equipped to handle this situation. Ronin needs to face the consequences of his actions. Queen Makayla added.

As she wiped away her tears, Seirgo realized that he would have to make a difficult choice between his loyalty to his brother and his duty to the kingdom.

Leah walked confidently as she always did, her tall and lean figure accentuated by her sinfully curved waist. Her dark obsidian eyes burned with a passionate intensity that left people weak in the knees, while her skin glowed with natural beauty that made others envious.

As the second-in-command of her pack, Leah was a fierce warrior in the werewolf kingdom. She wondered why Seirgo had summoned her, but knocked softly on the door and heard him invite her in.

Seirgo was seated on the bed, and although he knew Leah had feelings for Ronin, he still took advantage of her. Leah didn't have the power to stop him, as she didn't want to risk losing her position. She kept her mouth shut and did what she could to get along with him.

"Good evening, my prince, she greeted Seirgo, bowing down.

"Is there anything I can help you with? she asked, looking up at him through the strands of hair falling over her shoulders.

Seirgo pulled his shirt from his belt and bluntly asked Leah to make him ejaculate. She blinked at him in surprise before taking off her top and dropping it to the floor.

Seirgo smirked and removed his trousers, leaving him completely naked. Leah swallowed hard and walked towards the bed, feeling her heartbeat quicken. Seirgo caressed her back and kissed her neck, whispering that she was his whore.

He moved down to lick her breasts and then thrust into her forcefully, causing her to scream. This was Seirgo's way of clearing his head before capturing his brother. He needed to feel good and forget his troubles, and sex was his escape.

The next day

Freya couldn't explain her strong desire to see Ronin. Although he was a stranger, it felt as though she had known him all her life. Saving Ronin had created a bond between them, and it was a significant moment for Freya as it was the first time her powers had manifested.

After a quick shower, Freya dressed in a black skirt, white turtle neck top, and black leather boots. She tied her hair in a high ponytail and applied mascara before leaving for breakfast. Mackenzie, still angry at Freya for an incident two days ago, ignored her greeting. Freya's mother reminded her to finish her pancakes before leaving for class.

The school was good that day as Reagan, the bully was absent. After school, Freya headed to the woods where she had previously encountered a tall man who had frightened her. Despite the danger of being in werewolf territory as a witch, Freya persisted and walked towards a small hut she had spotted in the distance.

**

Ronin remained vigilant as he sat on the mat, lost in thoughts of her. He couldn't help but think of her long black hair, slender face, sharp nose, piercing amber eyes, and delicate hands that could barely grip a sword.

She was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen, not just in appearance but in the way she looked at him. However, he knew he needed to focus on clearing his name, but thoughts of Freya kept creeping back into his mind. Suddenly, he heard footsteps approaching.

As a werewolf, he had heightened hearing and could already feel the person's heartbeat from a distance. He recognized Freya's scent and aura and knew she was near. He stood up as he heard a knock on the door and opened it to reveal Freya with her enchanting smile.

She teased him about the rundown room, but Ronin ignored her and asked how she found him. Freya admitted she didn't know how, and then pulled out a small flask. Ronin quickly grabbed it and devoured the contents since he hadn't eaten in days.

As they talked, Ronin suddenly heard footsteps outside and peered through the hut to see that they were surrounded by werewolves. He cursed his brother Seirgo for betraying him and knew they were in danger since Freya was a witch and werewolves and witches didn't mix.

The angry werewolves destroyed the hut, but Ronin stood protectively in front of Freya. The werewolves demanded Ronins surrender, but he growled in defiance. They threatened to harm Freya if he didn't comply, and Ronin roared angrily at them. The werewolves were ready for a fight, but Ronin remained vigilant and prepared for battle.

Chapter 3 Goodbye

3

Ronin was aware that he needed to shield Freya from his kind as they would not spare her once they discovered she was a witch. Freya took the blame upon herself, believing that if she had not come, Ronin would have been better prepared for the situation.

"I'm sorry, she apologized to Ronin.

"It is not your fault. I promise to protect you, he said, holding her hands tightly. Leah observed Ronin's grip on Freya's hands with envy. She had always loved him, but he did not reciprocate her feelings. Every night, she prayed to the moon goddess to unite them.

Seeing Ronin with the witch ignited a rage within Leah, and she desired to kill Freya immediately. She could feel the anger brewing in her stomach.

"Come with us peacefully, and we won't have to fight. We are many and will overpower you, Leah said.

"Let her go, and I will come with you peacefully, Ronin replied.

"No, the witch dies now, Leah said, unsheathing her sword. Freya felt powerless; she knew she was no match for the warrior girl. She attempted to cast a spell, but it failed to work.

She wondered why it did not work, as Ronin was present just as he was the previous day. When Ronin refused to back down, the werewolves attacked him. However, he was stronger than all twenty of them combined. He possessed incredible speed, strength, and agility. He do not require any weapons and relied solely on his brute strength and endurance.

He was a powerful werewolf with exceptional abilities. Leah attempted to strike Freya with her sword, but Ronin blocked it with his claws, creating a loud crashing sound. He threw Leah off and focused on the other werewolves, slashing his sharp claws across their throats, leaving blood everywhere.

Ronin's eyes glowed gold, and he showed no mercy. He killed all the werewolves one by one. Ronin then took Freya into a tight embrace, and she felt safe in his arms.

"Are you hurt? he asked, but she was too shocked to respond. She had just witnessed Ronin kill almost half of his people like animals. Ronin held her hands as they ran far from the wolves. She still had tears rolling down her face, traumatized by the experience. However, they were both safe now.

After running for half an hour, they stopped at the edge of a tranquil lake. The cool breeze from the water sent shivers down Freya's spine. Ronin was livid, frustrated by the whole ordeal.

He took out his anger on a rock, punching it repeatedly until blood oozed from his knuckles. He was angry at himself for falling into the trap of the angry warriors of Coastland.

The entire situation left him feeling helpless and frustrated. Who had he offended so gravely that they would frame him for the president's murder? He vowed to hunt down the culprit and show no mercy.

Freya watched in fear as Ronin furiously attacked the rock. She slowly approached him, calling his name, but he was too consumed by rage to hear her. She placed her hand on his sweaty, blood-stained back, and he froze.

"It is okay, she reassured him, not knowing what else to say.

"My life is a mess because of one motherfucker, he said between punches.

"I've killed my people because of this frame-up. Freya empathized with his pain, tears streaming down her face. Ronin wiped away her tears with his thumb, and they remained like that for a while.

For a while, they remained in that position, their hearts beating in sync with each other. Ronin gently wiped away Freya's tears with his thumb, his eyes locked onto hers before shifting his gaze to her lips.

As Ronin's eyes lingered on her lips, Freya's mind raced with different thoughts and questions. She couldn't decipher his intentions - was he going to kiss her or not? His facial expressions were too difficult to read. Initially, she had felt sorry for him, but now she couldn't make sense of his emotions.

Suddenly, Ronin drew closer to Freya, his lips just inches away from hers. Despite feeling hesitant, Freya didn't push him away. She was unsure of what to do. However, their moment was abruptly interrupted by a deep, masculine voice.

"What are you both doing here?

Startled, Freya and Ronin turned around to see an old merman in the lake - they had unknowingly trespassed into the siren territory.

"you are a fugitive, accused of killing the president. Are you not? The merman pointed accusingly at Ronin, while Freya felt a lump form in her throat. She couldn't imagine how Ronin was coping with this situation. How was he even surviving?

"I...I... Ronin tried to speak, but the merman cut him off.

"I don't care what you have to say. Just leave this place. We Sirens live in harmony and we don't like problems, the merman said sternly.

"We are avoiding any form of trouble right now. You both should leave this territory immediately, the old merman added firmly.

***

Freya, having walked away from the lake, decided to start a conversation.

"How do you manage? she asked Ronin, who was oblivious to what she meant.

"Huh? he responded. She wanted to know how he coped with the constant accusations of crimes he didn't commit, but she changed her mind and decided to switch the topic.

"You should lay low and stay with humans for a while, Freya suggested, causing Ronin to scoff at her advice.

"Are you my mother? Ronin retorted."What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be in school practicing your powers, which you're terrible at? Ronin continued, making Freya feel sad.

He just told her to her face that she sucks at her powers. She was always hurt by people mocking her powers, but today was different. She couldn't understand the werewolf in front of her.

He had been kind to her just moments ago, he had been caring to her just a moment too ago, and he wanted to kiss her just a moment ago

He was protective and trying to protect her from his kind, and now he was using hurtful words. She couldn't understand this big werewolf.

"Say whatever you want, mock me if you wish, but the only reason I'm following you is that I'm curious, Freya said defensively. She wouldn't let Ronin's words break her.

"Ronin asked what had made Freya curious. Under her boobs, Freya folded her hands and replied,

"My powers. Ronin was still trying to comprehend what Freya was trying to convey when he asked,

"How is that relevant to me, woman? Ronin asked

"On the day you were shot, my powers manifested. I've always tried to use them, but they never manifested until that day. It's a coincidence that they worked when I tried to save you, but they haven't worked since. I'm curious as to why Freya explained.

"What are you suggesting? Do you feel connected to me? Ronin asked. Freya nodded and looked into his eyes with intensity.

"I know this sounds crazy, but I think Im connected to you. When I heard that gunshot, I felt a strong force pushing me toward where you were shot, and I couldn't understand what it was, but all I felt was a connection with you. Freya explained

Freya requested that Ronin stay with humans for his protection, promising to provide him with everything he needed.

Ronin hesitated before responding. All he wanted was to prove his innocence and escape the false accusations. However, upon reflection, he realized he would have to remain among humans for the time being until the situation calmed.

He nodded in agreement, causing Freya to let out a sigh. She knew she would miss him dearly, as they shared a strong bond. One thing was certain, Freya knew that she would play a significant role in Ronin's life and would miss him dearly.
