Chapter 1 I (one)

1568, English Countryside*

The warm sunlight streamed through the windows of the small cottage, illuminating the cozy living room. Freshly cut grass scented the air. Emily, a bright-eyed 18-year-old, burst through the creaky front door, a triumphant smile spreading across her face.

With a joyful whoop, Emily flung a crumpled piece of paper into the air, watching it float lazily downward. Her laughter echoed through the quiet afternoon.

"Mama! Papa!" Emily exclaimed, her voice trembling with excitement.

Her parents, Elizabeth and Thomas, emerged from the kitchen, curiosity etched on their faces.

"What's all the commotion, dear?" Elizabeth asked, a warm smile on her face.

Emily's eyes sparkled. "I got in! I got accepted into Dreamweaver college on scholarship, I'm going to college."

Elizabeth's smile faltered, replaced by a concerned expression. "Dreamweaver College, you say?" Thomas's brow furrowed.

Emily nodded, confusion creeping onto her face. "Yes, Mama, Papa. It's a prestigious institution."

Elizabeth's voice dropped to a whisper. "The one where humans and vampires attend together?"

Thomas's eyes narrowed. "Emily, we've warned you about associating with...those creatures."

Emily's smile wilted. "But, Mama, Papa, it's an opportunity of a lifetime."

Their sudden disapproval left Emily perplexed and worried.

"You are our only child Emily we can't let you go to such a dangerous place." Her father said.

Emily's determination grew. "Mama, Papa, you don't understand. Dreamweaver College has strict rules. Vampires can't take blood from anyone unwilling. It's a place of learning, not danger."

Elizabeth's expression remained skeptical. "We've heard rumors, Emily. Rumors of mind control and manipulation."

Thomas's voice firm, "We won't let you risk your safety, Emily."

Emily's voice rose. "But what about my future? My dreams? You're afraid of what you don't understand."

A tense silence fell, the air thick with unspoken fears and hopes.

Emily's words struck a chord. Elizabeth's expression softened, and Thomas's grip on his chair loosened.

"Tell us more about these rules, Emily," Elizabeth said, her voice cautious.

Emily seized the opportunity. "The college has a strict code of conduct. Vampires are required to take a blood oath, swearing to respect human boundaries. They're also required to attend special classes to learn how to control their... thirst, and they were allowed to have blood servants too ,who serve them blood willingly and this prevent them from hurting people."

Thomas raised an eyebrow. "And what about the humans? Are they prepared to deal with... vampires?"

Emily nodded. "Yes, Papa. Humans are taught how to defend themselves and how to recognize the signs of vampire manipulation. It's a mutual understanding, built on respect and trust."

The room fell silent as Emily's parents digested this information. Finally, Elizabeth spoke up.

"We'll think about it, Emily. But promise us one thing: you'll be careful, and you'll come to us if you ever feel uncomfortable or threatened."

Emily's face lit up with hope. "I promise, Mama. Papa."

Thomas nodded, a small smile on his face. "We'll discuss this further, but for now... congratulations, Emily. You've worked hard for this."

Emily beamed, feeling a weight lift off her shoulders.

During dinner time Emily seemed very happy ,she was eating Every single thing that was put on her plate with a happy smile.

"Emily don't eat too much ,or your stomach night ache later."

Emily savored each bite, her happiness palpable. Thomas and Elizabeth exchanged knowing glances, their concerns easing.

As dinner concluded, Elizabeth poured Emily a cup of steaming tea. "We'll make a decision by tomorrow, dear. Get some rest."

Emily's eyes sparkled. "Thank you, Mama. Papa. I won't disappoint you."

That night, Emily retired to her small bedroom, her heart full of hope. She drifted off to sleep, dreaming of Dreamweaver College.

The next morning, Thomas and Elizabeth sat by the fireplace, discussing Emily's future.

Thomas spoke, "We must consider her safety above all else."

Elizabeth nodded. "But also her dreams. We can't deny her opportunity, her safety matters Thomas ,but we can't deny her this, if we do she may never forgive us ,she worked too hard to make it to this exact point ,we can't chatter her long years of studying."

Thomas closed his eyes feeling a little bit unsure.

Emily busied herself packing her belongings, her excitement growing. As she folded her neat clothes into her trunk, she hummed a happy tune.

Just as she finished, Elizabeth entered the room, a small box in her hand. "Emily, dear, I wanted to give you this."

Emily's eyes sparkled as Elizabeth presented her with a beautiful necklace featuring a delicate cross pendant.

"A symbol of love, protection, and strength," Elizabeth said, her voice filled with emotion. "Wear it always, dear."

Emily's eyes welled up with tears. "Thank you, Mama. It's gorgeous."

Thomas entered the room, his face softening. "We've made a decision, Emily. You'll attend Dreamweaver College, but we'll be closely monitoring your situation."

Emily walked to both parents and hugged them tightly"I'm still very grateful mama , papa." She said her voice light as she tried to hush her sad voice ,she wanted dro go to college ,but she knew she would miss her parents ,they were all she had in This world and she cherished them.

. "Don't cry dear ,this is what you want ,you are a lady now act like one." Elizabeth said in-between chuckles.

"I'm not crying , I'm happy mama." Emily said finally letting go,she kissed her parents cheeks.

"Just remember to be good , don't fall into the hands of any vampire , don't let them get even the slightest bite from you." Thomas said as he pats her hair.

"I would be sure to stay clear off vampires I would associate only with humans." Emily said with an ambient smile.

"I trust my little princess then, here this is for you " Thomas said handing her a small pouch filled with coins.

Thomas handed Emily a small pouch filled with coins. "A gift, dear. We were saving for a horse, but we think this will serve you better at Dreamweaver College."

Emily's eyes widened in surprise. "Thank you, Papa! This is generous of you both."

Elizabeth smiled. "We want you to have the best opportunity, dear. We trust you'll make the most of it."

Emily hugged her parents tightly, her heart overflowing with gratitude.

As Emily stepped outside, she heard the sound of a horse and carriage. The carriage's driver, a stern-looking man, nodded at her. "Ready to depart, miss?"

Emily's heart skipped a beat. She took a deep breath, shouldering her trunk. "Yes, I'm ready."

With one last glance at her parents, Emily climbed into the carriage. The driver closed the door, and they began their journey to Dreamweaver College.

As the countryside passed by, Emily's excitement grew. She thought about the opportunities ahead, the friends she'd make, and the knowledge she'd gain.

Chapter 2 II (TWO)

As Emily stepped down from the carriage, she gazed up at the imposing structure of Dreamweaver College. The Gothic-style buildings seemed to stretch up to the sky, their stone walls bearing the weight of centuries of history. A shiver ran down Emily's spine as she felt the weight of her decision. She was really here, about to start a new chapter of her life.

The carriage driver, who had introduced himself as Jenkins, handed Emily her trunk. "You'll be wanting to get to the registration office, miss," he said, nodding towards the main building. "They'll get you sorted out with your classes and accommodations."

Emily thanked Jenkins and took a deep breath, shouldering her trunk. She followed the path that wound its way through the beautifully manicured lawns, taking in the sights and sounds of the bustling college campus.

As she walked, Emily couldn't help but feel a sense of trepidation. What would her classes be like? Would she make any friends? And, of course, there was the question of the vampires. Emily had always been told to be wary of them, but she was determined to keep an open mind.

After a few minutes of walking, Emily arrived at the registration office. She took a deep breath, pushed open the door, and stepped inside. The room was bustling with students, all of whom seemed to know exactly where they were going. Emily, on the other hand, felt like a small boat adrift in a stormy sea.

A friendly-looking woman with a warm smile approached Emily. "Hello, dear! Welcome to Dreamweaver College. I'm Professor Wellesley. How can I help you?"

"I'm Emily Patton, I'm a new student by scholarship." Emily explained with a smile.

Professor Wellesley's face lit up with a warm smile. "Ah, congratulations, Emily! We're delighted to have you join our community. Let's get you registered, shall we?"

As Professor Wellesley helped Emily with the registration process, Emily couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. She was really doing it – she was starting a new chapter of her life at Dreamweaver College.

Once the registration was complete, Professor Wellesley handed Emily a small map of the campus. "Here's your lodge, Emily. It's called Ravenwood Lodge. You'll be sharing a room with a fellow student. I'm sure you'll get along famously."

Emily took the map and nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude towards Professor Wellesley. "Thank you, Professor. I really appreciate your help."

Professor Wellesley smiled and patted Emily's hand. "You're welcome, dear. Now, off you go Get settled into your lodge and start exploring the campus. Don't hesitate to ask for help if you need it."

Emily thanked Professor Wellesley again and set off towards Ravenwood Lodge. She walked for a small time, taking in the sights and sounds of the campus. The buildings seemed to loom above her, casting long shadows in the fading light.

As she turned a corner, Emily collided with a young lady who was hurrying in the opposite direction. The lady's books and papers went flying out of her arms, scattering across the ground.

"Oh dear, I'm so sorry!" Emily exclaimed, rushing to help the lady gather her belongings.

The lady looked up, a pair of bright blue eyes sparkling with amusement. "It's quite all right, I'm the one who should be apologizing. I wasn't watching where I was going."

Emily smiled and handed the lady a book. "I'm Emily Patton. I'm new here."

The lady's face lit up with a warm smile. "I'm Penelope. Welcome to Dreamweaver College, Emily..... Patton .....are you duke Patton's relative."?

Emily quickly shook her heard "no no , I'm just Emily Patton i have no realtion to any duke."

Penelope's eyes sparkeles with curiosity but she shook her head "my mistake , are you headed to you lodge ,I wouldn't mind showing you the way there." Penelope offered with a smile.

Emily smiled back."that would be very nice , I was assigned to raven wood lodge, any ideas where that's."?

"Of course that's where I was assigned too, such a coincidence, what's your room number."? Penelope asked curiously.

Emily looked at the paper professor Wellesley had written to her. "189,she said that I have a roommate."

Penelope's eyes widened in surprise. "No way! I'm your roommate! What a wonderful coincidence!"

Emily laughed, feeling a sense of excitement and relief. "I know, right? I was a bit nervous about meeting my roommate, but I'm so glad it's you, Penelope!"

Penelope grinned, tucking her arm through Emily's. "Me too, Emily! Let's go get settled into our room. I'll show you the way."

As they walked to Ravenwood Lodge, Penelope chatted about the college, pointing out various landmarks and sharing stories about the students and professors. Emily listened intently, feeling a sense of wonder and excitement.

When they arrived at Ravenwood Lodge, Penelope led Emily to their room on the first floor. The room was cozy, with two comfortable-looking beds, a desk, and a wardrobe.

Penelope dropped her bag onto her bed. "Welcome to our humble abode, Emily Make yourself at home."

Emily smiled, feeling a sense of gratitude towards Penelope. "Thanks, Penelope. I really appreciate your help. I don't know what I would have done without you."

Penelope waved her hand dismissively. "Don't mention it, Emily. We're roomies now! We'll help each other out."

As Emily began to unpack her trunk, Penelope helped her, chatting and laughing as they worked. Emily felt a sense of belonging that she hadn't expected, and she knew that she was going to love living with Penelope.

As Emily began to unpack her trunk, Penelope helped her, chatting and laughing as they worked. "Blimey, you've got a lot of stuff" Penelope exclaimed, holding up a dress. "This is lovely, where did you get it?"

Emily smiled, feeling a sense of belonging that she hadn't expected. "Thanks, I got it from a shopping in the village near my home. I'm so glad I decided to bring it with me."

Penelope nodded, folding the dress neatly and putting it away in the wardrobe. "You'll be glad you brought it, I'm sure. The social events here can be quite fancy, from what I've heard."

Emily's eyes widened in excitement. "Really? What kind of social events?"

Penelope grinned mischievously. "Oh, there are all sorts of things. Balls, parties, that sort of thing. And of course, there are the vampires' gatherings."

Chapter 3 III (THREE)

"Do vampire really hurt the humans here."? Emily asked ,even tho she had convinced her parents these creatures where civilized here ,she didn't want to take chances.

Penelope's expression turned serious, and she leaned in closer to Emily. "Honestly, Emily, the vampires here are civilized. They're just like any other students, trying to learn and make a name for themselves. But, there is one group you should steer clear of."

Emily's eyes widened with curiosity. "What group?"

Penelope's voice dropped to a whisper. "The Bloody Three. They're three vampire students from prestigious backgrounds, and they think they're above the college rules. They're notorious for their cruel and reckless behavior, and they have no qualms about hurting humans."

Emily's eyes grew wide with alarm. "What? That's terrifying! Why doesn't the college do anything about them?"

Penelope shrugged. "From what I've heard, their families are extremely influential, and the college is hesitant to take action against them. But, trust me, Emily, you don't want to cross paths with the Bloody Three. They're not to be trifled with."

Emily nodded, feeling a shiver run down her spine. She made a mental note to steer clear of the Bloody Three at all costs. "Thanks for warning me, Penelope. I'll definitely keep that in mind."

"You are sure welcome,I have something to do ,let's have dinner later after you rest."Penelope offered as she stood up to leave.

Emily nodded, feeling grateful for Penelope's friendship. "That sounds great, thanks. I'll see you later."

After Penelope left, Emily rested for a while, feeling a bit overwhelmed by the events of the day. She eventually got up and decided to explore the college. She checked the class schedule that Professor Wellesley had given her and noticed that she had a class later that day, but she decided to skip it and explore the college instead.

As she walked around the campus, Emily couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder. The buildings were beautiful, with intricate stone carvings and stunning stained-glass windows. She walked through the quadrangle, admiring the perfectly manicured lawns and the vibrant flowers that bloomed in every corner.

But as the sun began to set, casting long shadows across the campus, Emily realized that she was lost. She had wandered too far from the main buildings, and now she had no idea where she was or how to get back to Ravenwood Lodge.

As she walked down a narrow corridor, trying to find her way back, Emily stumbled upon a scene that made her blood run cold. A vampire was leaning against a wall, his fangs sunk deep into the neck of a young lady. But it was clear that they were doing more than just sharing blood. The vampire's hands were under the lady's clothes, and Emily could sense the erotic tension in the air.

Emily's eyes widened in shock, and she froze, unsure of what to do. She wanted to quietly walk away, but her feet seemed rooted to the spot. And then, she accidentally made a sound, a soft gasp that echoed through the corridor.

The vampire's head snapped up, his eyes locking onto Emily's. The young lady, realizing she had been discovered, let out a mortified cry and pushed the vampire away. She quickly adjusted her clothes and ran out of the corridor, her face bright red with embarrassment.

The vampire, on the other hand, seemed completely unbothered by the interruption. He smiled lazily at Emily, his fangs glinting in the dim light. "Well, well, well. What do we have here?" he drawled, his voice dripping with seduction.

Emily quickly bowed her head in an apologetic way."I'm really sorry for interrupting you fun time ,please pardon me."

The vampire chuckled, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Ah, no need to apologize, little one. But since you've interrupted my...dinner, I think it's only fair that you provide me with a replacement."

Emily's eyes widened in alarm as the vampire took a step closer to her. "I...I don't think that's a good idea," she stuttered, trying to back away.

But the vampire just smiled, his fangs glinting in the dim light. "Oh, come now. It's just a little blood. I promise I won't hurt you...much."

Emily's heart was racing with fear, but then she noticed the smirk on the vampire's face. She realized that he was just teasing her, trying to scare her. She took a deep breath and stood up straight, trying to look braver than she felt.

"I'm not afraid of you," she said, trying to sound firm. "And I'm not going to give you my blood."

The vampire raised an eyebrow, clearly surprised by Emily's bravery. "Well, well, well. Look at you, little one. You've got spirit. I like that."

Emily didn't know what to say, so she just stood there, trying to look confident. The vampire chuckled again, then turned and walked away, disappearing into the shadows.

Emily let out a sigh of relief, feeling a bit shaken but also proud of herself for standing up to the vampire. She quickly turned and started walking back the way she came, eager to get back to the safety of her lodge.

As she walked, Emily couldn't shake off the feeling of unease. She was still trying to process what had just happened. She had never been so close to a vampire before, and she couldn't believe how calm she had remained.

When she finally arrived at the cafeteria, Penelope was already there, sipping on a cup of coffee. Emily sat down across from her and took a deep breath.

"Penelope, I need to tell you something," Emily said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Penelope looked up, concern etched on her face. "What is it, Emily? You look like you've seen a ghost."

Emily took another deep breath before launching into the story of her encounter with the vampire. Penelope listened intently, her expression growing more and more serious.

When Emily finished, Penelope reached out and took her hand. "Emily, I'm so sorry that happened to you. But you have to know that you're safe here. The vampires may be a bit...forward, but they're not allowed to harm humans without their consent."

Emily nodded, feeling a bit better. "I know, Penelope. But it was just so...unsettling. I've never been so close to a vampire before."

Penelope smiled reassuringly. "I know it can be a bit intimidating at first, but you'll get used to it. Just remember, you're in control. Don't let anyone make you feel uncomfortable or scared."

Emily nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude towards Penelope. "Thanks, Penelope. Just talking to you makes me feel better."

Penelope smiled and squeezed Emily's hand. "Anytime, Emily. That's what friends are for."
